Twitter and other social media sites can be useful platforms in your inbound marketing strategy. When content is distributed and shared across social media platforms, it becomes more authentic and accessible to communities of qualified potential customers.  3 tips for using Twitter effectively:

1)    Make your headlines count.  Use keywords, which can actually be picked up by Google, thus creating another path leading back to your site.  Providing relevant, useful content and links will result in more clicks and retweets!

2)    Post regularly.  When you provide valuable content on a regular basis, potential customers will come to trust you and view you as an authority in your field.

3)    Don’t be too aggressive with selling.  Your followers are looking for useful information and don’t want to be constantly bombarded with tweets urging them to purchase products.  Reserve 70% of your tweets for content and 30% for promoting.  Build up a rapport with buyers by providing them with relevant information and educating them on your products.
