What is IM Report Card?
Every day 1,000s of people begin their online marketing journey, and most quickly
find themselves overwhelmed by all the hype, "secrets" and claims of easy money.
Until now people have had nowhere to quickly and easily learn the real deal about
the products, services and people they come across that all want their money.
Getting started is hard enough without wasting your time and money on ...
- products that don't live up to the seller's claims
- services that don't do what they're supposed to do
- getting scammed by people who are just out to make a quick buck
Our mission is simple - to catalogue, review and discuss every single popular Internet
marketing related product, service, person or "guru", and biz-opp.
Unlike other bogus "review" sites run by money-hungry affiliates who'll say anything
to make a buck, we provide unbiased reviews and let our community decide the merits of a
product or service by grading it and sharing their own experiences.
You can also ask questions about a product you're interested in, rate products, add your own
comments and share your own experiences - and help others in the process.
IMRC is a community of like-minded people looking to make money online, who are sick
of all the scams out there, and who help each other out along the way.
The "Make Money Online" industry's dirty little secret
Many of the most highly promoted Internet marketing and "make money online" products and services
are developed and "launched" by a relatively small group of people. These are the so-called
"gurus." There are about 20-30 people that fall into this group.
And then there are another 50-100 smaller players who operate a little differently, but
essentially do the same thing. These people have no interest in being a "guru", but they
are serial product developers and crank out new products every few months.
These two relatively small groups, roughly 100 or so people and/or small companies, are
probably responsible for 80% or more of the "popular" products and services out there.
So why do they keep churning out new products every month or two?
It's simple. The reason is that most of the products simply do not work as advertised. Most
are promoted using extremely deceptive marketing tactics, and most people who buy these
products don't see the claimed results.
Then what happens is that within a few months the product starts to get a bad reputation as
customers talk about it on forums, blogs, etc. and sales drop off sharply.
In order to keep making lots of money they need to keep cranking out new products and "pimping"
them to each others' lists, regardless of how good the products actually are.
It's really quite disturbing.
We're not going to name names, but even some of the "nice guy" gurus aren't what they
seem. Most of them could care less about helping people or "giving back."
Most of them look at you as nothing more than their personal ATM. And when they get
together or talk on the phone they refer to you - their customers - as "sheep."
We know this, because we used to be on the "inside". But it wasn't long before it
literally made us sick to our stomachs and we didn't want any part of it.
