Grade Acme Free People Search Engine ...
|
|
|
Website URL: http://Acme-People-Search.com
Company Name: Tissa Godavitarne Alexa Traffic Rank: 200,547 |
|
Acme Free People Search Engine is an opportunity to make money through affiliate programs (Clickbank, MyLife.com, formerly Reunion.com and HD Publishing) and also by having your own people search engine. Tissa Godavitarne is behind Acme Free People Search Engine and is a successful GDI leader. Tissa provides members with a back office that has learning tools.
When you click on the Website: www.Acme-People-Search.com you will see a list of recent searches that can be a beneficial tool for Internet marketers. Can Acme Free People Search Engine offer anything else of value to Internet marketers?
It the bottom of the Website page, you will see a link to "Make Money with Your Own People Search Engine", which is an affiliate program.
The interesting thing about Acme Free People Search Engine is that according to MoneyMakerGroup, 30% of all online searches are people searching for people. The Acme Free People Search Engine does searches for people only. Those who have signed up for the affiliate program earn a commission every time someone uses Yahoo or Google to search for other people. Acme Free People Search Engine creates a custom search engine that is designed to only return searches for people. In order to get others to use your search engine, Acme Free People Search Engine advertises these search engines for free on Google and on Yahoo so those who are affiliates can begin profiting immediately. Those who are currently affiliates are averaging $80 - $120 a day in profits.
The cost of having your own Acme Free People Search Engine is $10 a month. People search is considered to be a very profitable niche market, so having your own people search engine should be a rewarding endeavor.
Reading posts on the Warrior Forum, most agree that the money is made with the affiliate programs (Clickbank, Reunion (MyLife.com and HD Publishing) associated with the search engine and by working your GDI downline. Tissa Godavitarne is at the top of the GDI leaderboard for most weeks, and he is also the person behind Acme Free People Search Engine.
Most of those involved in Tissa's system state that to be successful, you have to realize that it is a "business", and to be successful, you have to market it. That being said, Acme Free People Search Engine is not a program for beginners as it is not something that you join and then sit back waiting for results. In order to make money with Acme Free People Search Engine, you really need to optimize your Website and promote your search engine. It is imperative that you use PPC Google Ad campaigns or some other means of generating traffic. The problem is that Google penalizes for having a "cookie-cutter landing page", which everyone joining the search engine program will have. One complaint is that because the Website is not your own "brand" and is a carbon copy among a thousand others that are the same, and because the autoresponder is not in your control, you are building someone else's business and not your own. Tissa Godavitarne is making money from hosting commissions, GDI downline and domain sales and other affiliate commissions.
GDI (Global Domains International) is an MLM (multi level marketing) venture and very few make money except those on top. Tissa disagrees with this statement, though, because he is not at the top and makes money. Although the costs for GDI may be on the high side, it offers a residual program that other hosting companies do not offer.
Tissa does provide a back office that includes learning tools to educate members on how to use AdWords without losing money. He promotes using free advertising methods such as blogging, Squidoo lenses, YouTube videos, article marketing, Twitter and Facebook.
Tissa Godavitarne has a good reputation, and the product Acme Free People Search Engine is receiving mixed reviews mainly because not everyone views it as a business. Those who expect to receive income from doing very little work or expect others to do everything for them may not succeed in this system.

Its an ok program I have tried Tissa Godavitarnes Acme People search engine before and I must say it's a pretty good concept. What Tissa has done is taken a highly sought after keyword in people searches and wrapped it around a CPA concept which basically pays you around $1 to $1.50 each time someone unlocks their free search results. The main ways you go about promoting your search engine is through PPC, Article Marketing, and Press Releases. Overall I think it's a pretty good concept, but I was not willing to invest the time it takes to do articles and press releases. Nor was I willing to invest the money it took to do Pay Per Click.

Its ok but work it at your own risk After I joined the program with a lot of expectation, I realized the moment I got my first payment it was just amazing. The search engine can be very helpful. The income I earned from this search engine I got from my GDI program (referrals) and it didn't take as long as I thought it would. But I do notice from researching that it's difficult for many people to make money at all. But I did it and got my $125. Tissa does offers $125 to everyone who signs up for the search engine, but you only get paid when you make a additional 75$. Referral payment. It's based on the number of steps you complete from steps 1 to 3. After spending money ($100 bucks) to advertise I decided not to continue with this program, it just wasn't for me. |

Ridiculous you have to pay for it Tissa Godavitarne promises a lot about this search engine, when it really is just a big major scam, or a huge misconception. After a bit of seeing it online and a few of my friends having heard of it I decided, I might as well check it out and see if it's worth anything. So I sign up, go through everything (which really is a pain). I then tried logging on and was unsuccessful. I then found out you had to spend around 50 dollars to get it up and running(Despite it saying "free") So I gave up and didn't bother. In my opinion it's just more trouble than it's worth, which is why I rate it a D. |

A bad experience for me Tissa Godavitarne promises a lot to people about his free search engine. After a bit of reading and research about ACME I decided to give it a go and signed up 4months ago. The time I signed up and logged into my account, I got a message that the password was not recognized. I did it a second time I received the same message. The third trial was successful. After completing 3 steps I realized that you have to register with other paid affiliate program. Besides it was GDI, another one with which I had a very, very, bad experience and which was hard for me to sell. I immediately quit and never bothered to log in to ACME.In my opinion ACME is not really worthy trying. There are so many other opportunities with other trustworthy websites which you can sign up. |

Acme People Search-All Done! I participated in the business opportunity all of about four days. I was excited to have completed the necessary three steps to earn $125. I was underway in earning the $75 in commission in order to receive actual released payment of the $125, for a total of $200. However, when I got my first sale, I saw no record of the search in my link, nor did my earnings indicate such. Seeing $130 would encourage me to keep trekking. I used the forum to explain why I was not seeing the $5 commission that was said to be mine according the the commission pay structure, that can be found on-line. The reply I got was as if my earning earning was conditional upon my status rating. I guess because my referral was on a 7-day trial, it did not really count. Had the seasoned ACME searcher explained it as such, maybe I'd be not all done!

Acme free people search Basically an affiliate program. That pays to promote. Everything so far is going great. In the beginning the only thing that put me at a halt is that sign up was suppose to be free. The only thing they forgot to mention is that in order to make the system work is to register with the other affiliate programs (which are not free) that are a part of the free people search. So before it is said and done, you end up spending around $50 to get everything set up.

This program is not for me After joining the program with lot of excitement, I realized that the amount I get paid when someone just uses the search engine to find people is not great enough. The income that one earns from this search engine is more focused on the GDI and referrals than on the search engine itself, and the target payout is really hard to reach even with a minimum investment of 10$ with GDI. Though Tissa offers $125 to everyone who signs up for the search engine, we only get paid when we make additional 75$. Referral payment is totally based on the number of steps they complete from steps 1 to 3. Moreover, I had to spend about $100 bucks to advertise before I decided that this program is not for me.

Unfavorable I think joining this program will get the money but what I hope is not in accordance with what I earn. This business is not good for beginners in online business world as they give me a step by step that is difficult to achieve given the money. They will pay it's members with a minimum fee $ 200. Affiliate system they provide may not be achieved with only a short time in fact we will lose precious time just to attend this program. I look forward to the newbies like me to not join this program because we will only waste time.

Paying but hard to reach pay out I have joined this site more than 1 year ago. I'm interested because I can get $125 just to complete their steps and I remember this site offering is free to join. Yeah it's free to join but you must pay to complete their steps. For me, this site is just a package of affiliate programs and you will get paid if you complete all steps. I think the best way is searching via google and I found some tips and tricks about this site, I did it and found some problems from their members. After reading all comments and posts, I chose to stop trying this site. I'm glad I did not spent anything when I joined this site. My suggestion: If you found any site that is offering a great deal, just search about it before you join, maybe it takes a long time, but it will help you to prevent you from wasting your money. |

Free Searches I joined this program did not make any money, I didn't see the bit about getting to $200 before you get a pay out. I think Tissa a very clever and manipulative person, the fact that you have to be a super affiliate to get any where with this program is not a good idea for the new affiliate. I am still unsure on why you need to sell his Acme Free People Search when you can just I am pretty sure apply to net detective your self and sign up for your own search engine. The idea of selling a search engine doesn't appeal to me as you can download your own software for free which does the same thing as his engine. Yeah I would advise to stay away from this, don't waste your money.

Not as easy as I thought it would be I actually was able to link myself into acme people search through an ad that happen to be connected to Neobux. The person that ran the site said it would only take 3 easy steps to get the full 125. He also mentioned that it as absolutely free. Therefore, I tried it out. I can't remember it all exactly but I think two of the 3 sites that you had to sign up for was clickbank and reverse phone book. I also had to give out all this information such as my credit card and what not in order to make the full transaction, which made me a little edgy. You don't get the 125 immediately too, you have to hit minimal payout dollars for sites like clickbank to actually send you the money. I quit the entire thing after 2 days. I didn't like it one bit.

Agree with others I am happy to see that I am not the only one who isn't pleased with this website. I agree with other users that the way it's presented is that it's free and that if you follow a few steps you can make your 125 dollars. Here is the issue, it would be free if you already had a domain from gdi which you obviously do not have, and you need to join some other site. I believe that there are way too many hidden fees and hidden sign ups in this program to make me say it's legit. The owner obviously is pulling big bucks with the gdi sign ups but that's the only person that is profiting here. I say skip this one and maybe just check out gdi directly. By the way gdi has way too many members and is spammed all over the place. I give this program a D.

This is not free I joined this site 1 months ago inspired by the free $125 in 24 hours. However I quickly realized this is not true. There's 2 steps to the program. In each it asks you to sign up to 2 or 3 programs like adsense. The first step is easy & quick to do, you sign up for two free sites & type in your referral links to these programs in your back office. Then step two is where the problems arise. It asks you to join global domains international where you must pay to get your own domain name for your people search engine. This is not free. So I refused to pay & did not continue with the program. In my view it is a lie they say it is free when it is clearly not. Yes free to join but if you require the $125 you must join a site which you must pay for.

This is just LAME I got sucked into this one on the word "free". It is only free for joining, after that, unless you pay, it is useless. I wish it were easier to find a decent, legitimate online opportunity. However, this one will never end your search. Once you are in the members area, there is no way to do anything with the program unless you start dishing out cold, hard cash. They do not even give you any ways to begin making money first, to try it out. It figures that anything with the word "free" in it would have to be a little lame from the start. So, once again I am off to find the internet opportunity of my dreams... |

Is not what it seems. Maybe worth it in the long run Another ad claiming you can make a lot of money very easy. Wrong again. This site or program is designed for most people to fail, I would say 99.9% of people who actually subscribe and go all the way with their step by step formulas fail at the end. That is were the owners of this make their profit. They do most likely share some of it with some selected members but that is it. The reasons are simple, to start is not free. They claim to be free, that you can make money fast with them with zero investment which is not true. Once you sign up they will ask you to sign up to several other programs that are need to run "your own web site" that you have to pay for. For example you need to pay for your domain. You actually see the money you are making on your balance at their site but you can never cash it out. So after a while you realize that you can´t ever make any profit there and then you just quit losing your money. My advice is to stay away from it, do not waste your money and time, is not worth it. |

Good for professionals I stumbled upon Acme Search Engine last month and was surprised to see that the owner, Tissa, was paying $125 within the first 24 hrs just to sign up. But unlike most people I re-read the first page and noticed that the 'guaranteed bonus of $125' is AFTER you earn $75, and also there is another place that says that you should expect to invest at least $10, so I decided to affiliatize with Acme Search Engine. There are three steps to follow, and they are laid out in an easy-to-understand fashion. First I had to create accounts with HDPublishing and Clickbank which are for free, and after that I had to create a website through GDI, which has a fee of $10 per month, though I got a 7 day trial with the .ws extension. After that I linked with paypal and I was set to go. Tissa has stated clearly that you have to pay him a $30 subscription fee after 30 days. But it is not easy to earn commission like he says, and I still haven't reached my $200 mark. Plus I have to pay GDI $10 a month and Tissa's subscription fee of $30, so I am beginning to see that this is not worth the trouble. I don't think this is a scam, because Tissa has stated what we have to pay clearly if people are willing to read instead of jumping into the site thinking that this is a get-rich scheme. I think this would be better for someone with strong affiliate links, but definitely not for someone new to Internet Marketing. |

I didn't get any cash but a lot of spamming e-mails Almost a year ago I stumbled upon Tissa's Acme Free People Search and I thought it was a great idea to use a little of my time, and as a reward I expected to earn the promised easy $125. Well, that never happened! It was easy to follow the instructions and it sounded good, so I even paid a small membership fee. And already after two days I had earned more than the 125 dollars; it was then that I realized that I had been scammed, because I could not get my earned money without first paying some more. I wrote to the support, but they never answered me. I didn't ever get anything from Acme People Search neither money nor any e-mail from the support. All I got out of this venture was a lot of spam mails from others, trying to sell me a lot of rubbish. I can only advise all to stay away from this! |

I earned 250$ but I never received any money I discovered Tisa last year. They advertised that you can earn 125$ in one day without investing any money. This is very misleading. As soon as I joined I was asked to subscribe to more websites. I was receiving a lot of spam emails. They are asking for a lot of fees so this is not free. I earned 250$ but I never received any money. This is why I think this is a scam. I would give this program a D because they are misleading people. I am glad I didn’t invest any money. I would recommend people to stay away from this.

No free money I tried this Acme Search about 9 months ago. I was astonished that people were earning $125 just for completing few simple steps, it sounded pretty strange but I still believed in it. After seeing the screenshots and testimonials on the website I decided to join as the opportunity was supposedly free and easy process. I received the instructions in a minute but they were pretty confusing. For example, I was required to sign up to different websites in order to proceed. And then what? I didn't complete any of the steps as I suddenly realized it could be just a trick, doing things over and over and then having to pay for something. I was right; finally I found out that there isn't a free lunch: you would have to pay for monthly memberships and other fees, manage the stuff. Basically, wasting your time and money. You even receive spam mails. What could be worse? The website is so misleading so I would give the thing a D. |

Tissa is really a waste of space and time I remember coming across Acme about two years ago when I needed some fast cash. I landed on a page of Tissa and he claimed I would make $125 in 24 hours and I would not need to invest anything but complete three steps. The third step required me to sign up to GDI for $10 a month and then I had to subscribe to Tissa's advertising campaign for $30 a month. What they didn't tell me was that I needed to make commissions of $200 before I even see the $125. I did reach that amount and when I requested for my money Tissa never responded to me at all. I went in his forums and all I got was a bunch of other predators wanting me to be under them and so my mail box was flooded with everybody "offering to help me" not knowing that all they are after was for me to sign up as their referral to their countless rubbish programs. I contacted Tissa several times but never received a reply. I never even got paid the $245 that I did make in my first two days. This guy is a complete joke, waste of time and an absolute fraudster and I would never sign up to anything that has GDI or Tissa in it. Stay away from this program, it doesn't work. |

I Subscribed Twice I had been a member of ACME People Search in 2006 but made only a few sales which were less than what I was spending on google adwords. So after trying and not getting anywhere with that, I canceled my subscription. In 2009 I resubscribed with my same account and started to promote again and even made a blog which was getting good hits and people subscribing but not completing the steps, so I never reached the payment I needed to make a payment request. I canceled again and never looked back. |

Don't get tricked into this! Upon entering Tissa’s (the owner) site, you see everywhere that your guaranteed you will get a free $125 within 48 hours. As I expected, this sounded too good to be true. I was right because there are plenty of catches to get this ‘free’ $125. First of all you will need to pay two fees in order to get this money. There is payment of $10 to be made for registering a domain and webhosting or something. Then there is a monthly payment of $29.95 that you need to pay the site itself in order to get all the ‘secret’ tools to be really successful. So for a beginning, this is already $40 you need to pay. What really made me angry is that in order to get your free $125, you need to have an account balance of 200 dollars. This means that somehow I need to get an extra $75 through sharing and promoting your affiliate links. I assume this should be do-able if you have a good knowledge of internet affiliating, but a lot of people including myself don’t have that kind of knowledge. There is not a single section on his website that explains on how to get the extra 75 dollars except somehow sharing your affiliate links. I went to the forum seeking for help, but as expected, no one wants to share his/her method of course. Now I lost $40 that I will most likely never see again.

Don't Bother Wasting Your Time And Money I have seen the Acme People Search Page for a while and was always dismissing it, not really paying much attention to it, because I assumed it was just another internet scam. A few months ago I finally decided to read their page and see what they are all about. With only 10$ a month I decided that I didn't really have anything to lose, besides the 10$. I was impressed with the testimonials which seemed true and was hoping that this would be the program to let me quit my day job, but I quickly realized that the testimonials are more hype than anything else. If you already have a website then what you should know is that they only let you use websites with GDI domains. As well, by the time I got to the final page I had already been bombarded with many other offers which wanted my money, and made me regret signing up because I felt convinced at this point that was a scam site. I haven't made any money with Acme People Search and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

Just did not get it! Nor get make any money from it! I signed up for Acme a while back when I had something to promote. I did not get any results what so ever. I thought it was free until after I signed up I realized it was a free trial. They also tell you to sign up for other websites to get your site more traffic and sign ups. It took a while for me to even understand how the people search thing went. I thought for sure I could trust the owner since he is seen everywhere on the internet but, that was not true. Figuring out how to use the search engine was one thing, but, signing up with the other companies that were suggested is another. More confusion and no more results. |

Does it REALLY work?? The moment I saw the Acme People Search Page I said "oh no" it's design and layout closely resemble that of other internet scams "I made 100's of dollars a week with this program; Sue from Texas says she loves it. Bla bla bla" but on closer inspection I found that it looked like a genuine source, there was no outrageous claims about obscene amounts of money being made and the math seemed to add up. When I really analyzed this page I found that that it actually made sense. So I signed up as anyone in my position might do. Then I got this page with "Affilitize, monetize, advertise". This also looked like it made sense so I tried it; but alas I came to my first bump; the website problem. I already have a website with paying domain fees; then this website tells me I can only use GDI domains. No other option. I found that this was rather annoying and tedious to do. But as I wanted the money that they had claimed I would receive and plotted on (with an expensive new domain)at the end of my quest I arrived at the end (advertise) and I arrived at "Tissa's Trio" yet another attack at my money, this time demanding 29.95 a month! So much for all this money I was going to get... My word of advice to entrepreneurs looking for money online; be pessimistic. Always assume something's a scam and look for the site to prove you wrong. In this way you'll minimize the amount of scams you succumb to. But overall use common sense; If something is promising thousands of dollars with only this small one time fee you should probably see through it.

Didn't make no money I was referred to this program from a friend. When I first checked out the site it seemed really promising. I was excited to get working. I followed all the steps and thought I was on a roll! I got my first 125 bucks and I was happy until I found out that I couldn't cash out until I had at least $200. They wanted me to join this GDI program and a few other programs that I wasn't too keen on joining. At the end of the day I never made enough to cash out, therefore this was all just a waste of time for me. I guess I should have done more research!

Guaranteed $125... with strings attached I invested in one of these people search engines, and to be honest, I never even collected my guaranteed $150 in commissions. This opportunity seemed like a good one in the beginning, however the more entwined my wallet became, the bolder the fine print appeared. With this system there is a potential to profit, but there is always a catch, it seems, with Tissa. He offers several free services for the first 30 days, along with a guarantee of over $100 in commissions within the first 24 hours of signing up... IF you commit to his terms. And, by the way, your guaranteed commission is not collectible until your sales reach a minimum payout, which you find out about AFTER you have so slyly been lured into pulling out your charge card for your "free" trials. I ended up spending over $50 and marketed my search engine as instructed. I ended up with 16 searches, no sales, no commissions, and no guaranteed $125. It would have been nice to have had the facts presented clearly and concisely BEFORE getting reeled in to this adventure.

I have my own I actually have my own Acme People Search Engine, and it has done well for me. Terri, the owner, is wonderfully nice and easy to get a long with. If someone new joins in they will find it easy to understand and execute. Terri gives step by step instructions on how to complete the account set-up. Because of this I rate this biz-opp an "A". I must also take into account the advertising and traffic developing process which can be time consuming to those of us with busy lives. So I must dock them to an "B" for the use of traffic exchange sites.

What a waste of time Acme People Search is a waste of time it sounds real good at first, they get you to sign up for all these sites like GDI, Reunion.com, ClickBank, and many others. They claim you will make $125 within 24hr, but what they don't tell you is that you need to get your commissions up to $200 before you can be paid. I advertised like crazy, they even advertise for you, but none of that worked. I did get a lot of hits but they were all lookiloos. I made no money with Acme People Search, I say don't waste your time or money on this.

This program isn't what it claims to be I joined Acme People Search a year ago and initially it seemed to be on the up and up. Tissa seemed to know what he was talking about. The $125 in 24 hours commission didn't hurt either, until I found out how much I had to pay to get the $125. The one and only time I contacted him with a question about how to get started, I received a very rude response alluding to the fact that most people fail the program because they don't follow instructions... I stuck with it for a few months, followed all his instructions and made 10 cents after 4 months. Needless to say, I have moved on to more reliable programs.

Waste of my time I ran into this opportunity while searching for free ways to make money online. I felt like it was such a promise because Tissa wasn't charging for the information he was giving out. So I thought well if he is telling me all this stuff for free it must be legit. Well, I went through the steps on the website in getting my search engine up and was working with it for about two weeks. I was really ecstatic after getting my 125 dollar bonus until I realized the minimum payout was 200 bucks. Seemed like a set up to me. Tissa kept urging me to join some GDI program or something that I wasn't interested in. He didn't help me any further then the instructions and to make a long story short, I earned nothing more then the "bonus" money he gave me. Nobody used my search engine, I promoted it like heck for two weeks and earned nothing, needless to say I finished that.

Didn't work for me I joined Tissa after being a GDI member, hoping it would help me build my downline in GDI. Boy was I wrong! I started out with Tissa as a free member and upgraded to paying a few days later. Yes I did get several people to visit my site, and yes I did get 5 signups that only completed step 1 and that was as far as they went. I actually got 3 more signups, but they already belong to GDI so they never completed step 3. I emailed support and it took a few days to get a response, and usually by then I had the problem solved myself. I went so far as to promote the site myself , using safelists, TE's, banners, you name it, and all I got was hits to my site and that was it. After paying for about 3 months and having no luck, I gave it up. I was paying out and not getting anything back. All I can actually say to anyone joining this program is good luck.

Misleading I joined this program a couple of months ago because $125 guaranteed commission. To my disappointment, I need to earn extra $75 in order to cash out. You need to complete 3 steps. You need sign up a couple of affiliate programs provided and then provide your affiliate id. You need to sign up GDI and host your people search website. The last step, you need to subscribe it's service. I completed the first step but stopped at step 2. Then I received an email with a link that I could join GDI for free without having to pay $120 upfront for a year. That's not true. I clicked the link, it directed me to GDI website. I registered and I still had to pay $10 monthly. Even though the commission is real but if you can't recruit to earn min. additional $75, this is not for you. |

It's not free I joined this site 5 months ago inspired by the free $125 in 24 hours. However I quickly realised this is not true. There are three steps to the program. In each it asks you to sign up to 2 or 3 programs like adsense. The first step is really easy and quick to do you just sign up for two free sites and type in your referral links to these programs in your back office. Then step two where the problems arise. It asks you to join global domains international where you have to pay to get your own domain name for your people search engine. This is not free. So I refused to pay and did not continue with the program. In my opinion it is a lie they say it is free when it is quite clearly not. Yes free to join but if you want the $125 you have to join a site which you have to pay for.

Can you say scam? I joined Acme free People search about 5 months ago. They will offer you a good deal where you can make $125 guaranteed the next day. Too good to be true? It most certainly is. You can do the step by step guide to earn the $125 incentive, but there is a minimum of $200 cash out. That means that you have to earn at least $75 more before you can cash out. On top of that you have to pay a monthly fee. So, if you are paying a monthly fee and not making any money, you are putting all of your money is his pocket, therefore, he is getting rich off of your money while you make none. From my personal experience, I earned the $125 and paid the fee. I did not make anymore money because I was a little confused about how affiliate marketing worked. I was scammed big time. |

Acme People Search is there anyone there I joined APS thinking that if the site was good this would help my GDI business but ran into snags right away. First my GDI site name did not sound like a people search engine name and Tissa suggests that you start a second GDI line so that your APS site will sell better because you turn your hosting at GDI over to him.Now the real problems begin. At that point I sent a ticket asking for help on this question I had about why I had to switch over my hosting to Tissa just to get my site at 100%, well that was 2 months ago and still no answer and since then the ticket system for asking questions has disappeared from the back office. Next I went to his forum to ask my questions again no answer after two weeks. In the meantime I had went ahead and completed all three steps so that Tissa would advertise my sites plus a couple of thousand page views on different Traffic exchanges. Funny thing when I checked my back office every couple of days pending commissions would be there but I never got any final sales. When I wanted to ask about this on the forum my registration there had disappeared and I had to register again, still no answer to my post at this date. Finally I tried to call the phone number listed on the back office page and when a machine answered it says that "if your question is about APS don't leave a message it won't be answered send a ticket email for all questions pertaining to APS". Very hard to do since the ticket system is no longer there. I have had many other problems with his site but we are ask to keep our comments short here so I will let it go at that. |

Acme-people-search is a scam that preys on newbies What they DON'T tell you:[1] The $125 comes from Tissa's pocket. Just ask him. Tissa openly admits this in his forum. This is the first myth, from there, you will see that the entire thing is just a racket. Just go to Tissa's forum in the ["I'm mad" or "I think this is a scam" category], and start a topic called, [$125 comes from your pocket, not referral commissions] or something like that. Then the brainwashing and bashing by others begins, if you get too mad. Often times they will call you lazy. And that you must learn to earn. Learn what? How to propagate lies. This means that Tissa misleads you the newbie. You can see Tissa doing this openly in his forum, when he tries to 'explain' this to others (typically newbies) Tissa contradicts his own Terms of Service. The second point in the terms states the following: [2]We guarantee commissions of at least $125 within 24 hours of us starting your FREE advertising. We will advertise your NSE for FREE until we have credited you with $125 in referral fees. Big red flag here, and fire engine sirens, should be going off. First of all, there is NO WAY Tissa can determine that you have reached $125 in referral commissions, unless he can log into YOUR affiliate accounts associated with your search engine. He would need your password for each one. Second, he flat out lies to your face telling you that the $125 is referral commissions, when it comes straight from his pocket. "I send you PPC traffic from my ad campaigns, until you have reached at least $125 in commissions. " No, Tissa, the $125 is from your pocket, to make us think that you are doing this! Everyone in his forum, just repeats the mantra above, endlessly, thus breaking his own rules of no repetitive posts. But this is the only way he can brainwash you. And that is the purpose of the forum, so he and others can get into your head. From there you can see that Tissa is a total fraud, trying to pass himself off as the underdog who made it and now he is here to help us. |

At Last, A Real Opportunity When I first saw the ad for Acme People Search, I was skeptical to say the least. Come on, who can give you $125 for nothing! So, before signing up for the program, I decided to do some research. I do this with every program I enter as it saves getting your fingers burnt. A quick search on Google normally does the trick. After my research I found both positive and negative comments, but could see from them that in the main the program looked like it could work. I read that the minimum payout was $200, there was a $29.95 charge and that I would have to have hosting and so knew before going into the program that getting rich with this program wasn't going to happen overnight. But, the system looked sound, and the potential for a residual income from this very obtainable. I committed myself and signed up for the program. I was not disappointed. I soon had made referrals and got my account up to $225 which was paid into my account promptly on payday. I have continued to make referrals and my GDI downline has grown nicely too. The only advice I can give to anybody who is thinking of joining this program is not to join if you think you are going to get money for nothing. Believe me, there is no program out there that will give you money for nothing. You have to work at it to be successful. If you can do that then I highly recommend you take a closer look at Acme People Search. Good Luck, Tony Gibson |

Program isn't another "get rich quick" scam Been with ACME for over a month now and loving it. It isn't for those who want to just click and sit back. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your own online business. Like any business, you must invest your time. Tissa, the owner of ACME people search program is awesome, real and he is with us all the way. He wants to help out the affiliates because when we do well, he'll do well. He offers $125 incentive to inspire you to learn his program. Once you learn some skills on how to do online marketing, you will start encouraging others to enroll in the program. By doing this you make referrals, referrals = cash and as soon as you learn to earn just $75 in referrals, you can cash out the $75 you earned and the $125 Tissa promised you. Sweet! It doesn't matter what level of experience you have, but it does take willingness to learn, work and help others. Oh and btw, once you learn with the help of the program and our amazing helpful forum, what is to stop you from using your new wisdom to join other programs, nothing! So take it from someone who has joined many different programs, this one is working and is growing very quickly. It is still fairly new, get on board as early as possible. ACME people search engine (Tissa Godavitarne) is going to a summit meeting about this awesome program in Aug 2009 in New York. If this guy wasn't real and believe in his product, would he join the other hundreds of Marketers going to this yearly SOLD OUT Summit? |

Guaranteed Money? I signed up for this program awhile back. It seemed fairly simple, and who can pass up a guaranteed $125 by the next day? But, what I found once inside the program was not pleasant at all. I made the money the next day, that part was true. I have yet to receive the money in either a check or paypal but I "earned" it. Whoopee. I did have to pay a couple of different things and then discovered those would be an ongoing payment from me, which made me a little angry. What would have been more beneficial is for them to explain all this up front, before I signed up for the program. It also would have been helpful if they had more clearly told me this was going to be a business I would have to work at rather than their we'll-do-the-work-for-you routine. I would not recommend this business to anyone that does not have lots of time and money. It may be okay for some but certainly not for all. |

How can I make money from People Search I signed up, and I see people making money but not sure how now. I got the guaranteed $125 (easy to credit that to my account if you are the owner). But the minimum payout is $200. I'm not that good at affiliate marketing, so I cannot say his people search engine doesn't work. I have advertised my search engine and referrals, but still nothing. I advertise on every site I can think of. I send my referral link on many traffic exchanges, I blog about it, etc. but nothing. I canceled my step 3 (the $30 p/m), and I got an email from him saying not to give up, and that I can use Trial Pay to pay the monthly costs. It also said that most people give up too soon. I'm not knocking it because the concept of it will make money, but not sure about the reality. Also, I'm learning more about affiliate marketing (taking a free course) so once I learn more, I'll give it another try. |

Not a scam but not for me I signed up with Acme people search about 2 months ago now. Basically, the idea is that you join and make money off people searching via your people search engine and also from any referrals you manage to acquire. I found the process of signing up initially to be really easy, and I got through step one again with no hassle. There are three steps that Tissa wants you to complete. The first is free and involves simply signing up to three affiliate search providers who pay you commission each time someone searches their site using your search page. I have not made any money from these affiliate sites yet. I did try to sign up to the second step, which you can use your paypal account to confirm your trial activation. I stopped quite quickly however, when I saw that I had to enter my credit card details. That's just a no-no for me, and so I'm sticking with step 1 only for now. I managed to sign up 25 colleagues so far who have all completed step 1 as I have, and each earned me $5 for their participation. You need to have most of your referrals complete steps 2 and three, however, in order to be paid the full amount. As my referrals have not completed either of these follow up steps, I only get 80% of my earnings paid out to me. I still have a very long way to go to reach my $200 minimum payout, and I don't actually think it's worth all this effort that I've put in. Unless you're prepared to pay for the GDI and see this through to the end, you're unlikely to make much money from this scheme. Whilst I don't think it's a scam, I wouldn't bother wasting too much time on a pyramid scheme like this one. |

It's Nothing But A Scam I didn't fall victim to this scam, monetarily. I just couldn't see myself paying for expensive hosting that I could get cheaper elsewhere. Sure GDI has bonuses for getting referrals, but I just have difficult times getting people to sign up with GDI. The monetizing tasks they required are so-so. Making the $75 you need in order to get $125 promised is very difficult for most people. So, I didn't monetize squat. They didn't and won't get a penny out of me. I'm not that naive.

Not worth it I was introduced to this program a few weeks ago and I was told by the "affiliate" that she could show me how to get $125 absolutely free. So I signed up. I already had some of the accounts that most people would have to pay for in order to move on to the next step. When I got to the last step I was told that I would have to complete a trial offer. That is when I quit the process. I felt I had been misled.

Not fun, easy, or a good source of income. Have to sign up to numerous sites, and spend money up front. Then you get your $125, but that's not even 1/2 the amount you need to cash-out. They make all the money from you signing up as their affiliate on 6 different sites and you are stuck still spending money. If they were good and really believed in their system they would take that $125 and let you use it to cover your first 3 months of payment for hosting and advertising. Unless you know what you are doing with advertising and have lots of money and time to spend with this program, you're not going to get any return. |

I love this program. This is not a scam. I love this program. This is not a scam. It's not a get rich quick scheme, so anyone looking for that shouldn't sign up. It's just like any other business. You have to learn what you're doing for it to work. The terms of this program are spelled out in plain English, and are written in large, easy to read text. Nothing is hidden. I encourage everyone to check out the Acme People Search forums, where Tissa himself posts frequently. This is a great program for anyone who has a real desire to make money from home. If you are at all interested in speaking with a large group of people who are having success with this program and sharing their secrets, please come join us in the Forums. It is free, and you don't even need to register if you just want to read it. It's completely open to the public. You do need an account to post, but nothing is hidden from non members. |

Give it some time so that you learn it properly I heard from a lot of people that this site is paying money for searching. I joined it and later I understood that earning is not that easy in this site. I had a tough time to understand their set up. The problem is I took so much time in learning, I lost all my stamina to get money from the site. You all can try it, but unless you have patience, it is waste.

Very Disappointed I really wasn't interested in a people search engine, but the lure of a $125 commission drew me in. I pretty much had a feeling that it might be too good to be true, and I was right. As soon as I joined I found out like many others that you need to reach $200 to receive a payment. Now I was not looking for a handout, but I do believe he should be more upfront by mentioning the $200 minimum payout. Even PTC scam sites tell you their minimum before you join. I tried to promote the search engine, my affiliate link during the trial period and even attended one of his webinars. He took two calls from people who were calling him a scam, and he spent the entire hour trying to defend himself. Needless to say, I am not a fan of Tissa.

Poor Promotion Tactics When I first joined this program, the first word I read was FREE. What a joke. By the time I got the steps verified, it was already costing me 40 dollars a month, 10 for GDI and 30 bucks for Tissa's so called coaching and help. I paid for four months, only heard from him once near the end, and that was to ask me for a dollar, for a webinar. This programs help, is vague at best, don't waste your money, like I did. P.S - that $125 is on paper only.I was charged another $30 to my Paypal account two weeks after Icancelled this farce, and when I went to lodge a complaint with Paypal,I got an instant message from this Tissa saying he'd give me a fullrefund, no questions asked, if I didn't lodge a complaint. He then wenton to tell me I'd lose anyway because of his impeccable record and hislegal connections. What a load! It's been over a week, and still norefund. And guess what? Now I can't lodge a complaint with Paypal. Theysaid it was too late. I've been a member in good standing at paypal foryears. Now I think they bite too. |

Didn't really get the feel of it! I had joined this site for the mere reason that the advertisement was really catchy, and if you're a newbie, you will certainly fall for it. You might think that it is really the best and that you can earn so much so easily and fast. But I was wrong, obviously you have to join a certain website to advertise for it to drive traffic to your site and you have to pay a certain amount per month and so on and at that point, I felt like I was being forced to join something that I am not sure I want to join into. I have tried to advertise it on my own without joining the website that was recommended, but it didn't get me anywhere. It is an acceptable site for those who have the money to spend. I was hoping to earn from it, then I will decide after if it is worth paying for. So I don't really think it's for everyone.

I have tried Tissa Godavitarnes Acme People search engine before and I must say it's a pretty good concept.
Tissa Godavitarne promises a lot about this search engine, when it really is just a big major scam, or a huge misconception.
Tissa Godavitarne promises a lot to people about his free search engine. I immediately quit and never bothered to log in to ACME.

I actually have my own Acme People Search Engine, and it has done well for me.

Been with ACME for over a month now and loving it. It isn't for those who want to just click and sit back. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your own online business.
