Biz-Opp Description
Fortune 5 Minutes is a networking marketing membership program created by business entrepreneur Rick Mathews that revolves around the selling of internet marketing products. This program works on the matrix system, letting members build downlines from which they can gain residual incomes. Members cycle through the program as they recruit more referrals, potentially earning more money with each cycle.
Detailed Overview
When you join Fortune 5 Minutes as a member, you get access to several different internet marketing tools and tutorials. This is not the focus of the program, however. F5M is a network marketing matrix program, meaning that you make money with it by recruiting other members to your downline and earning commissions when they buy in.
Entrance into the Fortune 5 Minutes program costs a one-time fee of $25. $20 goes toward buying into the matrix program, and $5 goes to administration fees. Once you pay this fee, you are entered into the program, and your job is to start recruiting referrals. It is a 3x2 matrix, which means that you recruit 3 members directly under you, and each of them recruits three members. You earn commissions from all of these members.
Once all of your 3x2 downline positions in Fortune 5 Minutes are filled, that means you’ve completed a cycle. When you complete a cycle, you earn money, but part of this money buys you into the next cycle. As you cycle you earn membership into higher levels, more participating matrix programs, and you make more money.
Once you buy into Fortune 5 Minutes, your only job is to recruit. The rest is done for you. As long as you keep getting referrals, you’ll be doing well—unless your referrals don’t get any of their own. Mathews makes it very clear when explaining the program that it is to your benefit to help your referrals with their recruiting as well.
Reputation
Fortune 5 Minutes has gotten fairly good feedback from those who have actually worked hard to promote the program and gain referrals. You can’t join this program for free, so it’s a good idea to decide if you’re serious or not before you buy in. Members report that the program does pay, and can be lucrative if you put in the work.
Domain "Whois"
The Whois information for a website lists the owner and their contact information. The owner of "Fortune 5 Minutes" has purposely made their Whois information private. While not always a bad thing, this could mean they have something to hide.

A solid matrix program lacking some as well
Fortune 5 Minutes was my second matrix program, and I went for it because it had a good reputation. Registering was not a problem as I paid my $25 fairly easily and got access right away. I had read an e-book about referring members efficiently in matrix programs especially and I managed to get 3 referrals in one day. I don't like the fact that they use a 3x2 matrix system, because most others use 5x5 or 5x7. The cycles approach faster, and it doesn't help your earnings speed up.
Finally, the support is not that fast in replying. I asked for them about the cycle and how I could proceed into the next one directly, but they didn't reply yet, not until now. That's a big problem with Fortune 5 Minutes that I encountered.

Very difficult to earn money
I joined Fortune 5 Minutes but I find it very difficult to earn money. I need to have at least 3 other persons in my matrix working as hard as me. Unfortunately, for some reason, I don’t succeed to do this. I think you have to be an experienced internet marketer in order to be able to attract referrals. You need very good marketing skills and a lot of motivation. If you don’t have other 3 people working hard in your matrix, you will not see any profit. I wasted almost two months and I wasn’t able to earn anything. I don’t recommend this to beginners.

Worked really hard at this for a while, but
I worked really hard at this program for a while and got my $100, but the problem is I can't get the rest of the group to get going.
It is true all they have to do is bring in 3 people and get their 3 people to bring 3 people. But I can't seem to convince my downline to do this and so my matrix stalls.
I have already worked hard and brought 9 people in, and if half of these 9 people would work at bring others in then at least it would be worth my effort. But none of them would do anything and that is very frustrating.
Most of them came in using money they earned doing offers, so technically they joined for free. So they can easily have others do the same and fill their downline that way, but most don't want to bother asking people to do this for whatever reason.
This program works, if everyone works at it, we'll all benefit from it. However majority of people just want something for nothing and that is why this kind of matrix stalls and doesn't move forward.
As long as the people under you are not desperate enough to work this kind of program, you end up the only one interested then you will not go up to the money portion of the program. What you need is to find at least three people that are as interested in making money as you are and at least then you can have help moving forward and not end up doing it all by yourself.

Are you still paying for programs?
Why pay when you don't have to
Join 4Steps and never have to pay
for another program again.

It's worth it if you're dedicated and have at least some experience
Fortune 5 Minutes, or F5M as it is some times called, is a good program to use if you're dedicated and have at least some marketing experience.
The Admins are good, and provide plenty of support when needed. I have found other members of Fortune 5 Minutes to be helpful as well.
If you're new at marketing I don't recommend joining any matrices because they are difficult to promote as there are so many out there.
However if you have at least some experience and know you can get a few referrals under your belt, it might be worth it to give it a shot.

Good program if you spend time with it
I joined Fortune 5 Minutes several months back and have so far had good success with it. I will say that it took quite a bit of promoting to get my referrals, but it is all paying off now. I have managed so far to get 13 referrals under me and I'm still going. I don't think that the start up cost is much at $25 since I made it back quite easily. I think that if you work at promoting then the referrals will come. I do want to add that it takes a good month to start getting the referrals. I think this program is good, but maybe not for everyone.

Not too bad of system
I'm a member of F5M, and was very active sometime ago. I had a group and we were using the system to help people profit through it by using one referral link. I like the biz because the cost to get started wasn't that much and could serve as a feeder to other programs while at the same time F5M is a feeder type system itself that moves you automatically into other businesses it is aligned with.
The business works if you work it but I will say that a draw back is the 3 x 2 for a cycling matrix. These days many competitive programs have gone down to 2 x 1 so the cycling is faster, however the new ones often lack the full potential of F5M.
However, if you are looking for a well established and long running system that is low cost F5M is one of the top ones out there that you don't have to worry about the site not being there when you wake up in the morning.
Good owner/admin and serious networker. He also is very responsive to members. I had several conversations with him via email and he was very helpful in helping me work the system the way I was wanted to use it.

Fortune 5 Minutes is awesome!
I have been a member of Fortune 5 Minutes for three months. The program is about finding people, (I would say sponsoring) friends, family and relatives to join under you. I did not pay the $25 but I got there free when I joined F5M Millionaires Club for only $5 If you find 6 and they signed up, then you got your F5M entry free.
While I was inside my back office and attending conference with John K, I found out that the program really works because once you have three in your first level and three on their first level, you cycle and get paid. And it is a one time payment for life.
I also found out from the website that money will start coming if you keep your focus on helping your team members get their members. What I did is we sponsor each other, like we signed up under one another and it is legal and legitimate if you cannot find other people to sign up under you. Just make sure that you signed up with a different user name and different email address. I am a webmaster and I could have 100 email address and signed up all at once under my name. You will never hear from WTIA members that they are getting paid and cycle and they never tell you how they make money everyday, they cycle. But Rick Matthews posted the name of the people or members who cycle the program.
Fortune5Minutes is a legal and legitimate business. It is only illegal on other peoples minds because of the way they think about themselves. They want easy money, offered to them instantly. I do not find any business that is easy to make money, only those selling hot cake business make money out of poor mentality people. And I graduated from that already.

Pyramid scam
I have been on this site for about 3 months now. I am devoted to making money online and want to find a way that is worth actually investing into. This is what many of us know as a pyramid. Unless you have a very large range of friends, you will find it difficult to get started. And if none of your friends want to participate then you lost the money you invested into the company, which is a low cost, however not worth it.

Not too bad but a lot of hard work
I signed up to this site, obviously paying the $25 sign-up fee, after I read about it on a money-making website. It said that all I had to do was sign up and refer other people to the site and that would be how I'd make money.
The thing about Fortune 5 Minutes is that not a lot of people want to pay the $25 sign-up fee and this means a lot of hard work trying to find those who are willing.
I eventually made by money back but I doubt I will continue using the site in future.

Struggling a little to make money on here. It's a matrix scheme.
As far as matrix schemes go, this one is actually quite cheap. It's so low risk that it's worth joining if you are a newbie and you decide to try your hand at this method of money making.
I joined about 2 months ago now. I'm a little disappointed about how little I've managed to earn from the scheme. You have to basically sign up 3 people to complete a cycle and that's the point where you begin to earn cash. Your referrals then each have to sign up referrals of their own in order for you to continue to earn.
Whilst I've made back my $25 sign up fee, I think that this program commands more work than I'm prepared to put in, so I don't think I'll be trying too hard with it in the future. I don't think I'll be trying any more matrix schemes either.
