Free Lunch Room Description

Free Lunch Room is a membership website run by internet marketer Leo Shimizu, where people can get paid for completing trial offers for various companies. The program fosters beneficial relationships between people, allowing them to help each other earn money by working with companies that offer rewards as a way to advertise their products or services.

Free Lunch Room Detailed Overview

There are two main ways to profit as a member of Free Lunch Room. You can complete offers and be paid by other members, or you could be the one paying other members to become your referrals and complete offers. Both methods have their benefits.

The easiest and fastest way to make money through Free Lunch Room is by signing up as a referral for one of the members and completing enough offers to “go green” for them. “Going green” means that you’ve completed enough offers to earn the person who referred you a credit, and credits can be valuable. When you complete enough offers for one person to get a credit, they usually pay you anywhere from $15 to $40, often right away. It’s not unusual to enter into an agreement with a referrer, complete enough offers to go green for them and receive compensation in the very same day.

Free Lunch Room referrers make money by paying people to earn them credits, and then receiving cash amounts from companies that exceed what they’ve paid out, or products whose value exceeds what they’ve paid out.

Many of the offers that you complete as a member of Free Lunch Room in order to go green are free trials, and some cost money. You want to make very sure of two things. First, make sure that you’re not paying out more to complete offers than you’ll receive from the referrer. Second, make sure you note when you’ve signed up for a trial offer so you can cancel (if you want to) before the company offering the trial starts charging you.

Note:  If you're on IM Report Card because you're looking for a way to make money online, then you should check out our top recommendation.  It's the best method we've found that anyone can use to earn income online.  Click here to learn more!

Free Lunch Room Reputation

The administrators of Free Lunch Room have worked hard to make this site one that members can count on. Problems can and will happen when it comes to working with companies that offer free trials, but a member forum has been set up so that people can discuss any issues or give helpful advice. The website lays down strict rules to make sure that everyone is treated fairly, and the result is that it has a very loyal membership.

Great for freebie referral trading

I am glad that I got to know about this FLR website through Project Payday. Free Lunch Room is a great, cool website for freebie referral trade. FLR support forum is excellent, there are also some member tutorials in the forum which are helpful for a newbie.

I have joined this site a few months back and have managed to make a few hundred dollars of free cash into my pocket by going green for my trades. Referral to referral trades have been a happy experience for me at FLR.

Now I am also thinking of paying to get more referrals for some of my freebie sites to earn a little more extra cash.

I Luv this site!

Great Way To Make Money Online

I have been using this for a year now. This is the best way for me to make money online. While using this I have made $ 300 in two months. This website is based on freebie referral trading. Once you find out what it is and what it deals with you are good to go. This is very easy and simple. I signed up under a trader and completed some offers for them and got paid as soon as I went green. The offers are free or trials. You need to have a paypal and a credit card for this. I think I would suggest this to anyone because it is an easy way to make some quick easy money online. It will help you prosper a lot with very little effort.

Scammed.. And Scammed Again

Free Lunch Room is a complete Scam, I tried completing a few sites for people on there but I just got scammed. I completed these sites for a person who had an Itrade of 11 and they never paid me or answered any of my PMs. So then I did a trade for trade and I went green for the other person but they never went green for me. To trade safely on Free Lunch Room I would have had to have been verified which cost $90 and I would have had to trade with verified members only which there aren’t that many of.

My First Money Online!

I started working on Free Lunch room last year, and this has been one of my best experiences online. When I signed up, I got a good mentor and I went green on my first trade. I made 50 dollars for 10 minutes of my time. If your new to making money online, this has got to be the fastest way to do it. The forum is very user friendly, and there's tons of support to get you started. If you have 10 bucks to start, you can make some real money on free lunch room. This is one of my favorite ways to make money online.

Get Paid To Complete Freebies and then Pay For Referrals

I use FLR to get referrals for my freebie sites every once in a while. I do freebie sites a few times a month because it is fast cash that always pays my bills. I get paid to complete freebie sites on Free Lunch Room and then I go to the pay for referrals sections and buy some referrals. It usually takes the referral 5 or more days to complete the site but that is fine with me because I have learned to be patient. I usually pay for 7-8 referrals from FLR and come out with a profit of $150-$175.

$150 Every Month

I have been an active member of the FLR community for two years now and even though I do not trade on a daily basis, I still do so frequently. Trading freebies is very quick money which I am always in need of at the end of every month to pay bills. I always go on FLR and complete at least 5 sites which always makes me around $150. I always trade with the same people because I have built a very trusting relationship with them. There are some people that have been scammed by people who have completed the freebie site and than gone red after they had been paid. This does not happen very often though so as long as you’re alert you should go ahead and trade.

Honesty

Full of Scammers

Freelunchroom is completely full of scammers. I completed 2 sites for someone and they never paid me. I went to FLR because I was in need of cash to pay a few bills and so I used all the money in my CC to fill out offers on freebie sites and to complete 2 sites. I completed 2 sites in the Forcebuck network and they were both approved and are still green to this day. After completing the sites I contacted the person and they said that I had SCAMMED them which I did not. They just didn’t want to pay and it took me three days to realize that after messaging back and forth with the person. I wouldn’t recommend FLR, stay away because there are scammers on there.

$66 on my first day

I did a couple of freebie trades on FLR a few years ago when I was just an IM rookie. I needed money to buy keyword tools among other software so I decided to give FLR a try. I came across FLR through Project Payday and I stared trading freebies on the first day I signed up. The first day I greened three TRAINN sites for 1 person and they paid me an hour after greening. The three sites I greened were the Ipod, Xbox, and Flat Screen sites from the TRAINN network. I got paid $22 for each site so it was a total of $66 that I made on my first day. By the end of the week I had done all TRAINN sites and there was $380 in my PayPal account which I immediately withdrew to my bank account. Very recommended.

Waste of time

My opinion on Free Lunch Room may be a little off, but I had a hard time with this site. I was pretty mad that I paid 35 bucks for project payday to forward me to this site, when I could have found it by myself. I thought that this was going to be a good thing, quick money, without much effort. I started going green for the people on the site, doing free trials and such. I had to keep a notebook full of all the companies I signed up for free trials. I had a list of about 15 different companies I had trials for. Long story short, MY CC got bombarded with fees and these companies were trying to scam me out of my money, one of them had a 2 day free trial! 2 days! I am so lucky I figured that out on the first day, or my card would have been charged for 75 bucks. This is totally not worth it at all. You are putting your CC information out there to all of these companies for a measly 20 bucks. FreeLunchRoom is for the birds.

Was Great But Not Really Good Now

OK, when I first signed up for free lunch room, I loved it. The people were friendly and you could actually make money there. It was a bit tricky learning the ropes, but once you get started and get a good mentor, you can make some good money freebie trading. But as time went on, there were more and more changes. Then there was no traffic. No traffic means no money to make for the people who dedicate themselves to the forum. There are many people at the forum that do the same thing and with little new members joining, that's not good money for those that have been there for a while and are actually at method 2 of the process like I was. So to conclude, if you are starting out wanting to make money, it is great but beware that once you get to method 2, the money won't be as good.

Quick Cash

I did a couple of trades on FLR. I never actually paid any referrals, but I did trade greens and I got paid for greens many times as well. I greened the Forcebucks and Dollar Money Tree sites, I completed 15 greens in total and did 7 trades while I was on there. I never got scammed and the people on there are really nice. FLR is very organized, especially the trade manager, all of the trades go in there so it is really easy to keep track of trades. Once you finish a trade you get paid and you leave feedback. Very Recommended!

Got Scammed 4 times

I use to be a very active user on FLR, and I absolutely love that place. Over my 6 month period there I made over $10k but I quit because of all the complications that come with making money from freebie sites. I still have an active account there which I do not use any more, but it does have an Itrader of 150 positive with no complaints. I completed all of the forcebucks, TRAINN, QuickBuck and many other sites. During the 6 months I was making money on FLR, I got scammed 4 times and I never got my money back. I got scammed because I paid referrals after they went green but before I actually got paid from the freebie sites. Those 4 times all 4 referrals went red and so I did not get paid. FLR is a great place to trade freebies, but you do have to watch out for the scammers.

Wasn't very Satisfied, But overall experience was ok

With this site I did make money. So this is not a scam. I was with this program for about 9 months off and on. The only negative experience that I actually had with this company was that it is VERY time consuming and some offers take a while to get approved, so for each person you wanted to green for (get $25 or more) you have to do up to 2 or 3 offers to go green on one of the freebie sites and if all but one doesn't go green you can't cash out. Then they say to wait up to a month and see if it approves and then you have to go into the hassle with submitting reports to let the sponsors know that you did actually complete the offer. It was too much of a hassle with the ones that didn't approve. The other thing I didn't really like was using my personal c/c to do offers with. Charges were made on my card that I had know idea it was going to get made. But all in all, I did actually make with in that 9 month time frame about $120. I never made money every hour, it took hours or days to green. I had to quit because of all things mentioned above and at the time I didn't have a job so I was sparing money I didn't really have to possibly lose out. But all in all, this is a good site to work with if your patient and can be organized.

You end up paying more than earning

I signed to Free Lunch Room and immediately I was presented with a "welcome email" that was all about signing up for offers.

I checked it out and guess what? To earn just few cents, I would've had to PAY to complete the offer. Yeah, most of the offers are just like that. You need to pay to complete the offer and you actually end up earning LESS that you spend!

And the whole system seemed so confusing that I didn't bother to try it out further.

Some people may be making money out of it somehow but Free Lunch Room is not my favorite. Too confusing and it's not actually free.

Very confusing!

I signed up for Free Lunch Room and at first was intrigued by the concept, but that concept quickly spiraled downward into a confusing parade of tutorials, forums and Trader offers. Traders are people who are already in the system and are seeking newbies to "train" - or rather "buy in" to the referral offers the mentors have selected and display in long lists of links to every "Get a free laptop, " or Free trial type offer out there on the web. Not that all these type offers are bad, but the Free Lunch Room process and presentation simply comes off very cluttered and more like a system that has already seen it's heyday and any newbies joining now are merely prey for the original big players.

This is not really free!

I tried this, I earned $75 USA dollars in the first day! They had so many offers for free members and I had choice.

I ended up losing more than what I made on trials that would not cancel. The website itself is easy to use and the forums are very helpful. The people I dealt with were all honest and actually paid. I'm not sure that the time spent organizing your trial offers, the junk telephone calls, and the risk that a trial won't cancel are worth the money. I suppose, in a perfect world, it would be profitable.

Waste of time... And Effort

This site has tons of tasks which are what you can do to earn, (signing up for trials) and there are many members so this forum which was good because you can choose to be their referrals in return you get either money or they become your referral. So basically you both gain, however you must have a credit card for these trials. Once you’ve signed enough for 20$ worth of offers, now this is where the catastrophe begins. You have to keep track of all the trials and make sure you cancel them on time, however I figured out this was way too much work for me and I would possibly get charged more than I make so I simply just quit. I signed up for two of the trials and canceled them later on and I didn’t continue to use it. I think yes, this site is legit and full of opportunities, but it is too confusing and easy to lose more money than you make.

Do you need Fast money

Now when I first came across Free Lunch Room I was surprised at how much money was being made in the freebie business. I signed up to Free Lunch maybe a year ago and I have watched people grow to 3k a month. People would die to make that money at a job. Free Lunch room also has a large membership base, there can be a couple thousand people online sometimes at once. If you want to make some money check out this site, look in the trophy case and that will show the power of this site. Some people think it's too good to be true, but I made money on here, so I know it's legit. Check it out for yourself, you won't be disappointed. What I really like is how they track the trades you do on the site. It's like a mini stock market.

Not a bad site

I had experience with the program about two months ago. When I first saw Free Lunch Room I wasn't too sure that I would be making money but either way I decided to give it a shot. The site works with PayPal and you need a credit card assigned to it in order to get any money. The site provides a lot of different opportunity of making money. I myself have tried some of the offers and got paid about 90$. It is a good thing that everything is made simple and easy so you won't be having problems navigating the site. You will also have to help others and not only gain money for yourself. It is nice to know that everyone has a benefit. I would recommend the site, since it is a nice way of adding some extra money.

Be aware of what you are signing up for

Free Lunch Room seems to be getting some harsh reviews, so here is my experience. I am personally not a huge fan of Free Lunch Room however you do make money there and I have been paid. When I signed up it was basically a community where you could "go green" for one another. These programs basically pay you to get approved as someone else's referral by signing up for a trial offer and they pay you for it. Here is why I am not a fan. There are plenty of sites out there that offer this type of thing for free (community forums, etc. ) and I really do not like that I had to keep using my credit card for trial offers. I was over billed by several companies and I had to keep a long list of who I had to cancel trial offers with. In my opinion there are better ways to earn online, however this site is honest and you will get paid. Just be aware of the headaches that may follow.

Waste of my time and my money

When I first read about Free Lunch Room in some forum about a year ago, I got very excited and signed up right away. What a big mistake that was. Not only that getting the 20$ wasn't worth the time and effort it took from me, but later I had to go around canceling memberships to a ton of free trial websites that would have charged me for membership when the trial ended if I wouldn't.

I would advise for everyone to stay away from this, as sites like these make money when people like you forget to cancel memberships on sites that offered free trials, but when the trial is over you pay.

Stay away.

Horrible never will use again

I used Free Lunch Room a few months ago, all I can say is it was the worst experience ever. I did everything like normal did surveys, trials etc...

I had enough points to cash out and get around $30. I cashed out and they sent me a confirmation email saying that they were unable to send the money to me. I emailed support 5 times asking why they weren't able to. They did not respond to me at all! I ended up just giving up on the website. I'm sure most of you had a good experience with this site, but I didn't. That is why I rated it a F!

I've been a member now for about a year

I'm torn on this one. It's a great way to make extra income, period, to be sure. Those who are brand new can make a few hundred or more in their first month and will need at least $20 or so to cover all of the trials and shipping and handling charges(total). What can I say? I needed some quick cash last Christmas and Free Lunch Room delivered.

The only reason I don't give it an A is because of consistent income. You can do pretty hot in the first couple of months, but after that requires a little good fortune. Dishonesty and laziness is what is hurting this system. In fact, I haven't worked Free Lunch Room in quite a long while.

I guarantee you'll make money with this, but I REALLY want to because it's that good! You can most definitely make as LITTLE as $20 into your Paypal within two hours!

Check out Project Payday now!

Freelunchroom is a big headache

I remember first joining the Free Lunch Room. I was totally excited after reading some information about how you make money. I started working with my very first guy, going green on a huge list of offers just to make the 20 bucks he offered. Afterward, I found myself with 20 bucks in my paypal, and a list of 20 or 25 companies I did trial offers for. WHAT A HEADACHE! My credit card got charged more than what I earned from the guy. There were companies taking money off my card that didn't even have a number to contact. I had the pain of calling every single company I signed up for to cancel my membership before the trial ended to save my account from being charged 80 bucks for the stuff they wanted me to buy. Overall, I would stay away from the whole going green thing here, it's a pain in the butt, and a big waste of time. Free Lunch Room is filled with guys trying to get new Im'ers to go green, because they get paid the real money, unless your one of the guys getting people to go green for you, STAY AWAY!

Free Lunch Room - not for everyone

This one is really a good site for people who are new in the marketing business. As the name implied Freelunchroom is really a free site wherein you can learn everything from the day you signed-up. 99% of the trades involved signing up for some kind of paid trial or buying something or using a credit card. On the other hand, all the members there responded extremely quickly to any comments or requests, and my experience with the other members was great, but the offers I just couldn't do. You start off by basically working for others, you do an offer for them and they give you money for it. They do this to get a special offer from some company such as a new ipod or whatever. The only problems that I had, and this is why I quit doing it, are that you have to sign up for free trial offers, and keep track of everything so you can stop the subscription before you are charged for it. Good for people looking for something a bit unique and advanced.

Free Lunch is Always Free

I remember signing up for this over a year ago to promote and exchange one of those brand affiliate offers. You know the ones that say sign up for this amount of products and get $40 Paypal cash asap. Well according to my sponsor he wanted me to go to Free Lunch Room and exchange signing up on other peoples offers and they would do the same to me. Those types of offers rule this forum.

You get 2 ways to make money on the site, and I think it is good if you have patience and don't mind trying to persuade teenagers(no offense) to sign up on your offer.

My problem was I had my debit card on so many incentive offers, I occasionally would forget to cancel and all of sudden there's a $19.95 charge. After a few of those I decided that this type of money-making strategy wasn't for me. Check it out- it can't hurt- it's FREE.

There IS such a thing as Free Lunch

I tried this almost a year ago, when I was but a newbie fumbling her way around the internet marketing world. It's one of the most transparent forums I've had the chance to be a member of, and the sense of community within it is something I find hard to resist. I keep coming back to check out the freebies and the new traders to see if they are worth my time. Free Lunch Room helped me steer clear of questionable traders a lot of times in the past, and that I am deeply thankful for. Although it takes a lot for me to make money, I still like it because I get to learn a lot from the mentors that they partner me with. A word of advice, though. At first you won't be able to make money decent enough to make you want to stick with it, but be patient, and it will be rewarded as you stay longer on the site.

Very user friendly

Free Lunch Room is the most user friendly I have ever seen. There are great tutorials on the forum which pretty much have walked me through every site to complete offers, including offers that are completely free and 100% safe. Some members have even told me how long it will take to get credited for certain offers. This has saved me a lot of time and I have managed to successfully receive $150 after completing the required offers and referring the specified amount of people to collect the freebies. However, as I’m an international member, the freebie site I completed the offer on sent me the equivalent money of the prize which I totally understand and have no complaints whatsoever about. I urge people to join this forum site, especially those struggling to complete offers on freebies sites.

Not so popular now

Free Lunch Room (FLR) was one of the popular Freebie trading sites when I started in October 2008, but now it has suffered a terrible traffic lost. When I first joined the chat used to be full at all times, lots of topics in (paying for referrals) were sticky (which is the topic that stays on top). Now you barely see one anybody's topic sticky. The chat is also totally gone. I have to give credit to members for making such good tutorials and other money making methods which were discussed. But now you wouldn't be able to see any anybody posting in that section because of their new rule that topics have to be approved and it takes months. So my final word is if you are new and want to make some money then you will surely find lots of helpful people who will get you started in the freebie world.

Great site

I liked Free Lunch Room a lot, but it's a very risky business. You can make thousands of dollars with this, but if you aren't careful, you could lose thousands as well. I'm not trying to say that it isn't a good site; Free Lunch Room is a very good way of making money. It's just that you have to be organized and careful to not lose what you earn. All in all I'd give Free Lunch Room a B.

Average site for little cash

I joined Free Lunch Room about a year ago after a friend had referred me. To start off I will say the site is very user friendly and is packed full of very chatty, helpful people. Everyone I met there were very friendly, honest and very easy to work with, they like to help you out to make the process very easy for you, and from my experience genuine payers. The staff at Free Lunch Room are very helpful and quick to assist you with any problems you may have, and they are very strict on members who try to scam other members out of cash.

Overall I would say it is a good, friendly, helpful, easy to use site, but don't expect to get rich, but you can earn yourself some spending money.

Not worth the time or effort

I joined the Free Lunch Room thinking I could make a little extra cash. Yeah, right. I did not like that I had to fork out a bunch of cash for trial offers just to get paid. I also didn't like that everyone has the same offers up and there is very little variety. Where the problem comes in for me, is that if you are a member of other "get paid to" sites, then you will see that a lot of these offers on Free Lunch Room are also listed on the other sites. I think it is just a complete waste of time and effort to try and accomplish anything on this site. Yes, I have made a few friends on here, but I can do that anywhere.

I also didn't like that it is not the easiest site to get around. It took me a lot of clicks and navigating to find what I was looking for. It is very frustrating. Another thing that was extremely frustrating was when I first signed up, I had to literally argue with the site admin because they kept telling me that I did agree to the terms of the site even though I did on several occasions. Finally the site admin noticed that I did agree and let me continue. Had I known it was going to be this difficult and almost impossible to earn from here, I would not have bothered.

To me, this site is not worth it. I'm still a member but only log in once or twice a month to see if there is anything new. Of course there isn't. I cannot personally recommend this site to anyone even though it is free.

Not really worth it

I tried this a couple of years ago and thought it was great at first. I made a few hundred dollars for signing up for offers, but had problems canceling trials and returning products. Also, it became difficult to find offers that I hadn't signed up for already. After that, it was hard to find people willing to go through the same process that I did so that I could continue to make money. I really wouldn't recommend this unless you enjoy spending hours on the phone complaining to companies that charge your credit card without authorization or won't accept your return of their product that they claim is "satisfaction guaranteed".

It's okay I guess, if you plan on spending money to make money

Free lunch room is alright, I guess. To be honest I was expecting something else. I thought it would be free referral trades for free referral trades, but I was wrong. 99% of the trades involved signing up for some kind of paid trial or buying something or using a credit card. On the other hand, all the members there responded extremely quickly to any comments or requests, and my experience with the other members was great but the offers I just couldn't do. All in all I'd say the website is good if you're willing to spend money in order to make money.

It was a waste of my time

All Free Lunch Room is to me is a sign up to offers website. The thing that stood out to me was the presence, that was about it. I signed up and looked around the website, I wasn't interested at first because it was a little disorganized, I had to search the site instead of scan it.

I wanted to make money with this website, but I couldn't find anything worthwhile. I have never been a true fan of get paid to sign up because a lot of times I would forget to cancel and end up being charged in the end. I also didn't like the fact that Free Lunch Room didn't offer free sign up products. Most website I've visited gave you an option to sign up for offers that didn't take credit cards or bank account numbers, but that wasn't the case with Free Lunch Room. It wasn't my type of site.

Was not really "free" for me

I decided to give this a try last year, and I made $75 dollars in the first day. There are only so many "free" offers and you can only do them once, so it gets harder and harder to complete your obligation.

Ok Site If You Like Offers

I was a member of this site for about six months, and it was a decent site for the most part. I did a lot of trial offers and did earn through this site. The downside of the site is that you really have to be careful and remember to go back and cancel your subscriptions and memberships to the trial offers you have signed up for, or you will find yourself being charged a lot.

Overall, the site is an honest one, and it really does pay. If you like signing up for offers then this site is a good one to join.

Awfully tedious

I was with free lunchroom for a while, but it just got to be too tedious... you have to sign up for offers with your own personal bank acct or credit card... it was hard trying to find good, reasonably cheap offers... a lot of them were pretty pricey... but the tricky part was remembering to go back and cancel the offer before the free trial expired... luckily I had a good system down (i used dated index cards), because your credit card would be billed quite a bit of money... in my opinion, it was not worth everything you had to go through... by the time you paid $1.95 for a tutorial CD, $4.95 S&H on a DVD, and $7.95 on diet pills, to get paid $25 just wasn't worth it... not to mention, you still had to go back in 7 - 14 days and cancel your subscription, and in most cases send back the product.

Free lunch room is A NO FUN ROOM

I joined this site after someone told me they'd guide me through it. After I did, he never emailed me again. I surfed through the site and it was simply too confusing to understand. I kept coming back to the site, but I never saw much to keep me engaged or any money making opportunities. On the more pleasant side, I guess that guy got paid for referring me to the site. I wouldn't waste my time if I were you.

FLR is really people-friendly site

This one is really a good site for people who are new in the marketing business. As the name implied Freelunchroom is really a free site wherein you can learn everything from the day you signed-up. I enjoyed being a member of this site. I gained friends and promoted the site to others who wanted to enjoy social networking and at the same time made a little bit of money. And if you like to make money, every member will have to make a thread and they are very supportive to help you. Plus, you will not go alone. There is always support from members who are willing to help you to become successful in making threads. And I owed it to my mentor, so every time there is someone who happens to visit my site, I also give them my full support. That's how freelunchroom goes, it is people helping people. Some of the members which I became friends through FLR, when I ask them to check and join on IMreportcard for this is a good site, they gave it a shot and joined the site too.

Great way to earn small amount of cash online!

I joined this site almost a week ago and I am almost 100% satisfied because they always have an offer open to complete. You don't have to complete a lot of them and plus, if you sign up using a referral link, you get extra income. The go green offers get you and your referrer more income so it is a great way there.

Good site for easy pay

Free lunch room is a great site for getting some easy quick cash

and very user friendly site to navigate through.

Most people there are honest and friendly and very easy to work with to help you through the process and quick to pay from my experience.

The staff at free lunch room do a great job at taking caring of problems especially with members who try to scam other members.

My overall experience is quite positive and while you wont get rich, you can earn some nice spending money.

Make sure you read a lot before diving in

I did a lot of research on companies like this one before getting right into it. I did have to spend some money before making money but you do and can make money this way. A lot of times I see offers for things I was already planning on buying so I just go there and get paid for what I needed anyways.

This got to be overwhelming

I got into Free Lunch Room through Project Payday. Made a little money by completing the trial offers and getting some credits. The best part for me was when I met a man on there who was willing to help me along. But, it finally got too much to keep up with. You have to keep track of the trial offers and cancel out in time so you don't end up paying when you didn't intend to. Then it got really overwhelming trying to keep up with offers to "go green". You need to be on the site constantly to keep up with who you want to deal with so they get credit and then will pay you.

It was just too much for me to keep track of! Actually, I never did figure it all out; I understand more about it now by reading the review here than when I was in it. Another reason why I feel this is such a great site to help us sort over all that is out there.

This site is okay but not all that great...

As stated above by kvbhead, this used to be a good site. I joined this site back in January of 2009 and to be honest it had so much better traffic than it does now... Actually I should've probably just said it had traffic unlike now. The sites that are legit are mostly all of his (Leo) sites now and he doesn't even really check the sites THAT much. Sending in a support ticket will have you waiting probably forever and a lifetime.

I remember he promised the people floodgates in which they could pay to get numerous referrals because of how he was building so much traffic. It is now August of 2009 and the floodgates are still a mystery.

He has banned a lot of sites, because most sites refused to pay $5000 (five thousand) dollars for a subforum... yes he wanted THAT much, when usually subforums are much cheaper as in $50-$200 a forum.

If you're not familiar with Leo... you will know (or at least heard) that he scams a lot of people. I haven't been part of the scam victims (yet) because I don't pay a single penny nor dime to that site... just for when I do freebie trades for people and also, he bans people for mainly expressing their opinion to him (if you bad mouth him = ban).

He works with a guy who goes by the name of "Gladiator" (wouldn't be surprised if they were the same person), but all I have to say is, yes this is a good site in terms of looks, but if you really have intentions of staying on this site... then beware because you're mostly dealing with spies over there. (No I haven't been banned... yet).

This site is legit

Not everyone understands how this type of site works and how you can make money with it. You have to start out by helping others and you won't make a lot of money at first. This is because you have to pay to do some offers and then in turn the people you do them for will pay you. Usually the net effect is not a lot of money in your pocket.

However, once you learn the ropes, you can become the one that others are helping and that is where you can make good money. The more you are willing to work and make contacts, the more you can make.

Free Lunch Room is a great forum where all this comes together with ratings for everyone so you can know better who to trust. This is a legitimate way to make money and as I said, he more you are willing to put into it, the more you can get out of it. It actually is possible to make over $2,000 a month there for some of the better networkers.

This USED to be a great site

I've been trading for about 8 months now and FreeLunchRoom used to be the site to be on. People were making money left and right. Then Leo (the owner) decided he wanted to dictate to the Freebie sites which affiliates they had to use and was charging the Freebie sites a rather large sum of money to be on FreeLunchRoom. What ended up happening is that Leo started banning a LOT of the good freebie sites or they left and wanted nothing more to do with FreeLunchRoom. This forum is essentially dead because Project Payday dropped them too, so there is no traffic. There are a few new sites to trade on and that because Leo created these sites in order to keep traders on FreeLunchRoom. There are a few great forums to trade on and this is NOT the one.

Just OK site

What I would've liked to know before joining is that I didn't need to pay $34.95 for a Project Payday membership to join the Free Lunch Room and make money. I like the way everything's explained and that in the forum there are many members willing to help if you need it and also that you can make a little money with it. What I don't like is the whole process of making money by doing trial offers which is what the Free Lunch Room is all about. My specific results are that I made a little money here and there, but haven't been active with it because I realized there are much better ways to spend my time. I also had to cancel my debit card after who knows which place started using my account without my knowledge.

The Best IFW Forum...

If you were ever part of Project Payday, this forum is the whole premise behind the program IFW's! Now with this being the best forum for such opportunity, being paid to be a referral seems to be the only option! This forum has so many seasoned traders that it'll be very difficult to get your rating up to have people trust trading with you, that was my main issue! But starting out as a referral in the forum was excellent, my first trade I was paid within minutes of starting, after going green!

Everyone knows about canceling free trial offers so I won't go into that, my only caution is some of the advertisers might not approve the offer completed! I had that happen quite a few times to myself, then to my referrals, and that can look bad on you as a trader! It's not your fault, but they signed up for an offer and expect to get paid, though they know they have to go green, now you lost a willing referral for your other sites, which can mean an easy hundreds of dollars! I lost many referrals due to greening issues, so I kinda backed out of the IFW thing though I am still green for others if I need some quick cash!

But, FLR is great if you need that fast cash, but if you plan on being a trader, don't expect to get high ratings, the seasoned traders own that forum!

Very easy to do trades.

As someone who went on to do trades and make some quick money, it is good. If you are looking to market your sites and hope someone will do an offer with you, it can be hard.

There are a LOT of people on that site so it can be a bit tricky to stick out.

Best advice is to start doing a lot of trades to one, make money and two, get an idea of how things work.

DO NOT FORGET you must cancel any offers you do before they expire or you WILL be charged, PERIOD.
