GBG Description

GBG is a company that sells health and weight loss products through a network marketing system. Run by CEO Stuart Finger, this company has been in business for a number of years, and employs independent contractors to sell their products and recruit other salespeople. As a network marketer for this company, you can build a referral downline and earn money from their sales as well.

GBG Detailed Overview

GBG runs like a typical MLM company. It sells certain products, not in stores but through company representatives who promote the products. Company representatives also promote the company selling program itself. In fact, this is what they mainly promote. When you become a representative of GBG, your main goal is to recruit other people under you so that you can build a downline. Just like you do for the person who recruited you, your downline earns you money by selling and recruiting themselves.

The products that GBG sells are health and weight-loss related. There is the Energy Matrix ™, which is a weight-loss drink, the 10-in-One liquid nutritional formula, a weight loss program that includes special shakes, a whey protein product and a filtered water bottle. You can simply order products from any of the representatives if you want, but their emphasis is always going to be on recruiting you to sell the products yourself as well as use them. Representatives have to purchase a certain amount of product every month, which they can sell or use, whichever they prefer.

As far as compensation for selling as a GBG representative and for recruiting others to work under you, the pay plan is fairly simple. When you join, you have to commit to purchasing a minimum amount of product on a monthly auto-ship basis, and when you recruit other representatives, they have to do this as well. You receive a monthly commission for all your active representatives, as well as for the people they recruit, down to unlimited levels.

GBG Reputation

Like many other MLM programs, GBG has a mixture of critics and proponents. Some people simply don’t like the way MLM programs work, with their emphasis on recruiting others to make money for you. The fact is, though, that MLM programs have been around for quite a while, and some of them are very successful. This program seems to be somewhere in the middle. It’s not real well known, but some people are making a good living through it. As with other MLM programs, it takes a lot of hard work and dedication to earn a lot of money through this program, but it can be done.

Power of Marketing with GBG

If you are wondering if GBG is a scam or legit I will be the first that tells you that they are a reputable company. Like most companies though if you want to make money online you need to know how to advertise or market online. If you can do this then you can make a great income with GBG. If you can't do this, you need to research or have someone help you. If you are struggling I don't mind helping people when I have time.

Great product, Good Honest Company and Management, Fantastic Comp Plan

I recently joined GBG & although I dont have a ton of experience with the program, everything I have seen, heard & witnessed so far is very positive.

Products

The primary product for GBG is their new chewable 10-in-1 multi-vitamin. It has 10 separate formulas in 1. I have been taking the product for 30 days & have very noticeable positive results. The chewable tablets have a great taste almost like an orange cream candy & it also comes in a travel pack for convenience.

The Company

GBG stands for Guided by God. Everything that I have heard, seen & experienced back up the words behind the name. They are a very ethical, honest & operate their company from a distributors point of view. The owners are paid as a distributor so they continue to improve the products & pay plan to the distributors benefit. They are poised for world wide distribution with the new chewable product - this will commence in 2011. I am an American living in Mexico so this is a very important point to me. I have been able to build it from a distance without any problems.

The Pay Plan

The pay plan is a forced 2x10 to 2x30 matrix with added features that make it stand out. In fact the pay plan is so unique it has a copyright. The pay plan offers good upfront money in the form of a $10 to $20 product fast-start bonus & up to a $200 fast start business builder bonus. Sponsoring 5 people in a week nets me a fast-start bonus of over $1000. It has allowed me to significantly reduce the amount of accounting & tax work I do over the internet. There are no pass ups to your sponsor. Each person only has 2 legs and you get paid on both legs, not just the smaller one like most 2 legged programs! That has made a significant difference in my check compared to other binary programs I have been in (again this is not a true binary as it has all of the benefits of the binary but without the catches and gotchas).

For each person I sponsor over my 1st 2 people I get a free additional business position (Pay Point) allowing me to earn money to unlimited depths. I can sponsor as many people as I want. Each new person I sponsor beyond my first two also blesses 1 of my downline with spill that they get paid on.

In addition there are 11 world wide bonus pools that you can participate in just by sponsoring 3 platinum business builders. One of the 11 pools is available to gold business builders who have 25 customers. The bonus pools total 11% of gross world-wide company sales & not the net income. This structure makes the world wide bonus pools available to anyone, not just the big distributors at the top.

The Cost

One of the things I liked best about this program is the fact that it is free! Yes 100% free & each rep gets his own website & splash/landing page for free.

The How To

GBG has made promoting their business very simple. I just hand out their sample kits for free & ask people to give me their honest opinion on the product & the DVD included with the sample chewable product. I have not had 1 person tell me no to looking at the DVD & trying the free chewable sample.

I have had excellent results as I have not had to sell the product nor the business. I have simply handed out/mailed out the samples & received some good feedback, landing both customers and business builders. I have experienced very good duplication as it is a very simple marketing plan that anyone can do, even at a distance. Thank you GBG!

In addition GBG has teamed up with a Virtual Office Fulfillment company that will ship your samples out in a bubble-pouch envelop with a personalized letter from you for only $2.59 anywhere in the USA & for under $5 Internationally. All with just a click of your mouse button.

In conclusion, I have had a great experience with GBG. I am so excited & pumped for the results I am seeing & for the real possibility for becoming financially free in under a year.

I Found My Online Biz Home With GBG

I am going to tell you guys right now that GBG has the right owner (Caring Guy), product and compensation plan that works all together.

I have been jumping in different online businesses to try to find my home for a long term income. The last one focused more on the compensation plan. This did not work; due to the product was not all that. Then I had one that had a great product, but it cost too much.

GBG has a 10 In One Complete Multi-Vitamin that works for me at an affordable price along with a free business opportunity that comes with it by just buying the product.

I am very happy to be an GBG Distributor. I am about to sell this product to two people today. Got to go.

Could Be Dependent Upon When You Join GBG

GBG on the surface is as good a network marketing business gets. A product that is actually competitively priced, an exciting "forced" 2x matrix that encourages spillover and they have come a long, long way with the quality and content of their promotional pages which are provided for FREE to their members which is also very noble.

Here is where the trouble with GBG comes in... early on they struggled with product availability and getting their 10-In-One Liquid multi-vitamin out the door.

Later on they also changed the formula which added a then-popular fruit juice amalaki which at least to me changed the color from of semi-tang like orange to something that looked a little more like greenish orange slime. No big deal... I can look past the color but I think also the taste was not as good.

As far a taste... most liquid multi-vitamins what might one expect. No one would drink it for pure pleasure such as fine wine or a chocolate milk shake. But as liquid multi-vitamins go I'd say it's slightly above average.

GBG has also introduced (and dropped various other products) and to figure out which ones they are selling "this month" you'll have to visit an affiliates site.

Not only is GBG now famous for continually changing their product line but they are also continuous changing their pay plan.

And on these two counts is where GBG loses some credibility.

The management team is sincere and no doubt very committed to the reps. and company. They are also very experienced however, that hasn't made it the smooth ride one might hope for.

Back to the two counts... continuously changing and tweaking the product line and pay plan makes it not only frustrating but sometimes impossible for the independent marketer to succeed.

I was able to earn money thanks to GBG

I discovered GBG a little more than a year and I have to say that the program I joined proved be quite good. I was able to advertise the product in some forums but I can't say that the results were satisfactory. I am not much into offline advertising but I decided to give this a shot. The results I achieved actually were better than the online advertising. I was able to achieve good results just by recommending the product to friends and people I know. Actually a good percent of those people tried the product I was advertising and that brought me good results. I was able to get a lot of affiliates which is also a great thing. When it comes to online promoting I added the product in my blog and also tried advertising in some free places. I got some sales actually but they were not a lot. The program was very good way to add an additional income and the money I am making is quite good actually. In my opinion GBG is a good program and I am recommending it. Definitely a good source of income.

GBG - I recommend it

I have been with GBG for almost 6 months. I was very satisfied with the product, it being one where I could really feel that it worked for me. I am making money with them, but like most MLM companies it takes a lot of work to make a good living. I think they are an honest and sincere company. They also have business cards, postcards and leads for sale. I am promoting this online, as well through many different programs, but it is not as successful. I am making a decent income through this program, however I am convinced that it is best done where people can actually see what they are being asked to purchase. I believe in their products and management philosophies.

Not A Good Online Business

I joined GBG over a year ago and ordered the 10-in-one liquid vitamin. I agree the product is very good, but I really didn't feel any different with this than I do with the GNC Hi-potency vitamin I was used to taking even after a year and the total price was double the GNC's price when you consider you are paying over $10 a month in shipping costs for the GBG product, which actually goes toward your uplines commissions. I tried marketing the product online, but never had any luck and didn't have the time to market offline which I would have probably seen some results. They have a great compensation plan, but I would only recommend this business if you can work it offline and send interested prospects to your website to order.

Works best if done offline

I signed up for this program about a year ago and I really like it. I ordered the 10 in 1 and started to promoted in the town I live in. I set up a small display in one of the grocery stores with the product and I created small flyers that included my link to place their order online. I found this to be extremely beneficial. I also found that by doing this, my customers also became my affiliates. It was like a two-in-one whammy. I am promoting this online as well through many different programs, but it is not as successful. I am making a decent income through this program, however I am convinced that it is best done where people can actually see what they are being asked to purchase. I give this program huge thumbs up as it does work.

Joined Again

I joined GBG probably 2 years ago and was interested in the liquid vitamins. I believe at that time the 10-in-1 was the only product. I was very satisfied with the product it being one where I could really feel that it worked for me.

I liked the idea of the forced matrix... in my younger days I would be one out there creating spill to help my downline, but at the time I joined GBG I was so busy with my offline job that I just didn't have the time to really help anyone in my downline. And I found I was sponsored by someone who also loved the product, but knew nothing about network marketing and wasn't doing anything to promote the business.

I dropped out when I got just too busy offline to do anything and had joined another nutritional program, so figured I could do without the liquid vitamins.

When we ran out of the 10-in-1 liquid vitamins, I found that we actually missed them. They had made a difference in our health, and I kept telling myself I was going to order more... but time passed and I didn't do it.

I felt if I got active again, I wanted to go with a sponsor who was going to actively market the products and be interested in building a successful business. I recently checked my status and found that by waiting a few months I could rejoin under a new sponsor with no problems.

I was finally ready to join again and work to build this business since I did really like the product. I found out a long time network marketing associate had joined and loved the program and the products, and invited me to join with her. I knew the time was right and I would have the sponsor I could work with. She is a person who is right there to help everyone on her team and loves to get on the phone and help talk to prospects. One of the best upline sponsors I could hope to have.

And to make it even better... the company has added more products, and improved the comp plan. I like that it is still a forced matrix... I have had good experience through the years with a matrix program just because I like to create spill and help my downline. If those you bring into a program make money, then they will stay with the program and build it, and you will ALL make money.

And the new comp plan has it that once you bring in two people, each time you bring another person in you get a free position in the matrix, with your new referral right under that spot. That builds your matrix faster and gives you more spots to earn income. I see that this could be a powerful pay plan and will be able to report back on it in a few months when I have had a chance to build a good group.

I like the products and the comp plan, and I think this is a good opportunity for people to join. If they are experienced they can build a good group with all those free spots they can earn... and if they are new and inexperienced, they can also be successful by being part of a good marketing team and getting not only good advice, but lots of good spill to help build their personal group.

GBG - My Future

I have been with GBG for almost 2 years. My involvement has been up and down although I have been using their 10-in-one product for most of that time and am now using their new Energy Matrix. I am making money with them, but like most MLM companies it takes a lot of work to make a good living. I think they are an honest and sincere company. One unique aspect is that the president is also a rep, and that's how he gets paid. Therefore, it is in his best interest to have a fair compensation plan, which I feel they do.

One of my objections is that they are constantly changing the comp plan. I have bought 2 sets of their training DVDs, and they are both out of date with both the comp plan and their product line. However, this is probably the price of growth.

All in all, I am still with them, therefore I guess I still believe in their products and management philosophies.

Feelinfg tired and down all the time? Try GBG's new Energy Matrix, the only energy drink on the market today that is low-glycemic, diabetic friendly! What about the most potent liquid vitamin there is. Try GBG's10-I-One Multi Vitamin.

Things I wish I had known before joining.

I found an ad for GBG from a lady promoting the 10 In 1 liquid multivitamin. I emailed her a few questions, she answered the questions or so I thought she did. I joined and started my monthly auto ship of the 10 In 1 liquid vitamin. It took 5 weeks for my first order to get to me. I didn't feel I could properly promote a product I wasn't familiar with so it was close to 2 months before I could properly start to market the product. In the mean time my sponsor was missing in action.

I contacted GBG Headquarters and to my surprise I was told that they could not make anyone be a sponsor to their downline they just have to hope that they will do a good job, but I was free to ask anyone else that promoted GBG because for the most part was pretty helpful. When I asked who my sponsors sponsor was I was told they are not allowed to give out that information. I said you have to be kidding me you can't tell me who my next upline is and they said NO.

I tried hard to market it online because the first bottle did seem to help me some. It was hard to market because there was another company out there basically marketing the same product under a different name.

My sponsor did finally show back up. I had a person that was interested in the business, but we were on different time zones and when he wanted a call I was at my normal 9-5 job and was not allowed to make personal phone calls so she called him for me. She told me how excited he was and he was signing up the next week. I was disappointed when he never signed up and asked her if she had heard from him and she said yes he decided not to join. I was pretty shocked when I found this same person had in fact joined GBG in her direct sponsors upline so his spillover could go into her downline.

I contacted corporate about this because they supposedly pride themselves on ethical practices, but I really wasn't surprised when they did not respond since the person he was placed under is a personal friend of the CEO and founder.

I'm sure many have not had an experience like I had with GBG. I know there are good and bad sponsors out there. My advice to anyone considering GBG would be to research this company completely before joining and look for others that have been with the company before and people with them now and get a good understanding of how hard it is to actually make money with them before hand.

My personal experience led me to believe that corporate only cares about making money, they do not stand up to the ethical clause in their policy, and they are not supportive of the reps who have no guidance to promote their products, and they do not clarify that if you are selling product you purchase that the money back guarantee is put back on the rep not the company because the product was not purchased directly through them.

This is just my personal bad experience with GBG and like I said I'm sure others have had a good experience.

Not sure about it yet

I joined GBG and ordered the 10-in-1 product because an online friend/marketer recommended it. I love the product, and it is affordable. As far as the business side of it, I've recruited four people. However, there is not much marketing training provided which means I am teaching my downline which takes much time. In the back office, they talk about calling leads and having home parties. They also have business cards, postcards and leads for sale. I have not purchased any of these. Online marketing has not produced many results. This is one of those opportunities which will take time and money to build.
