Tampogo is a network marketing company that was founded by CEO Chuck Stebbins and his partners. The whole point of Tampogo is to combine products that everyone already uses with a unique business opportunity. Tampogo provides these products at a discount and makes them available through an online store for easy access.
When I first heard about Tampogo, I first thing that came to my mind was Amway. Amway is a company that sells everything from beauty products, nutrition supplements, and everyday household products. You may also be familiar with their other holding company Quixtar. From the looks of it, Tampogo is trying to do the same thing.
The great thing about Tampogo is that there is no membership fee, registration fee, or product inventory to buy. Everything is sold online with your own Tampogo store. The company will take the orders, credit you for the commissions, and ship the product out to your customers.
Like other network marketing companies, they have a downline system in which you can earn commissions up to 8 levels deep. The commissions rate is 12% with a direct $10 on purchases (called a fast track payout). To stay active, you must buy a product from Tampogo once a month or you won’t be eligible for commissions.
Let’s talk about what can be sold with your own Tampogo site. You can sell everything from wall décor, candles, bed and bath, gifts, fashion, supplements, jewelry, and educational products. The site is designed as your typical ecommerce site with a shopping cart built in.
Upon looking at the products, I found that the sales copy for these products were not good at all. I wished that the company took the time to present the products better with better picture and more emotional driven copy. With the current descriptions right now, I can’t see how people would be compelled to buy the products.
I also found that they didn’t really have a strong product line. They did have a line of cosmetics, supplements, and home products but there were very few in each category. Some of the products were also more expensive than the market price, which contradicts their idea of buying regular products at discount prices.
The biggest problem I found was the website itself. The website had shopping cart errors, loaded slowly and sometimes pages did not display correctly. They really need to fix all the problems fast if they want their affiliates to succeed.
The recruitment process is pretty clear, but I wish the join link was also put in the about us, GO University, and Program details page rather than on a separate one. There is a short presentation and audio interviews which really help sell people on joining the program. Besides a weekly conference call, there isn’t any additional material on helping affiliates which is a big negative.
As of right now, I don’t recommend Tampogo. Tampogo is a fairly new network marketing opportunity, so I understand that they probably did not release their full catalog of products yet or have a solid marketing system in place. People who are involved expressed the same concerns as I have earlier in the review. You may want to jump in on Tampogo to be a first mover, but I think there are much better network marketing opportunities out there.

TamPogo... Very Good Concept I joined Tampogo before 8months. I think the concept of system is very easy to understand, the business policy of this system is like MLM structure. They have so many products like candles, bath products, jewelry, printer ink etc. The system is different than the other ones, people can easily make money with this. In my point of view I think the concept of this system is very good.

Stay Away From Tampogo Joined Tampogo back in March of 2010 because of the lure of an I-Rep Appreciation Bonus, in which one was to buy a product for six months, and then be paid out of products sold by the company. It never happened. Then there was the next bonus where you buy a product for three months in a row and would be paid out of the sales of a procake that Chuck Stebbeins said was in high demand. I thought he was supposed to be this brilliant biochemist like he lets everyone know. The procake sales didn't happen because of the shelf life of the procake. Then there was the Z-Shots Bonus which was supposed to be the best thing next to 5 hr energy. I qualified for that bonus to but the Z-Shots never happened. Then there was the Crystal Thin Bonus that Fox News was airing all around the states and big buyers were talked to in South America. It never happened. Yet he always wants you to stay activated so you won't lose your bonus, but there is always an excuse why it doesn't happen. Chuck is a master a writing and using his foundational marketing calls to lure you into his false promises that he never delivers on. He also had his Push Button Marketing campaign which was to deliver recruits and sales to all of those that contributed. He took in tens of thousands of dollars from people and it never happened. The company has yet to deliver products that were ordered back in July to some members. I would not spend another nickel with Tampogo just to stay activated for a promotion or bonus that will not happen. That is Chuck's lure. Stay away from Tampogo. He needs to be investigated. Don't let the lure of starving children get you either. As of December 2010 the CEO of Feed My Starving Children has stated that Tampogo has not contributed since August of 2010. Contact Office of Attorney General State of Florida. |

Tampogo is a Sham It has recently been exposed that Tampogo has not lived up to it's promises to pay commission, ship state of the art products or donate to Feed My Staving Children. Several complaints have been lodged with the FTC, BBB and Florida State Consumer Affairs. If you have been defrauded please contact one of these agencies immediately.

Network Marketing with a humanitarian cause I have a free membership with Tampogo. The compensation plan is a little difficult to understand, but there are very few network marketing companies that will allow you to join for free. The commercial appeal of the store needs a little work but, as with a lot of network marketing companies, I feel their processes and marketing will get better with time. One of the most appealing aspects of Tampogo is that with every purchase that is made, a portion of it goes to feed starving children.

My Experience with Tampogo With the biz-opp I read in accordance to Tampogo, I would very much like to share my insight. I have experience with Tampogo and am pleased to announce that I am completely complaint free. It is true that they are a brand new company. I have been ordering products since June 2010, and am pleased with them. I like Tampogo because I have actually had results close to or right on the dot to what they say. My specific results are clearer face, more energy, soft skin, and slight weight loss. I am thankful to have access to so many nice things that aren't wickedly overpriced.

What a rip off My family started dealing with this company. We waited and waited for checks due us but only got excuse after excuse. Finally we caught the owner in several outright lies and decided we had enough. Our checks were consistently 6-8 weeks late. We begged and begged to be paid but got ignored for weeks on end and finally were told they were "in the mail" but the mail never arrived. Wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. They are ruthless all under the guise of helping children!

I Would Have Said "Pretty Lame", But I want To Give Them A Chance ! I joined Tampogo about 7 months ago and entered with enthusiasm and support from a Team Leader. As others have mentioned, it's "free" to join, but there is no benefit to be derived unless you are accumulating at least 10 pts/month (each product has different points.. "fast track" products instantly meet that 10 point requirement and are typically about $20 and UP... mostly UP.) I honestly found it challenging to locate any REAL values at the site, as they claim. Although the inventory is expanding, the "store" is unattractive, with poor product photos, and even poorer descriptive text about the products. The prices are NOT generally anywhere remotely close to wholesale or what I would call discounted. Most seem OVERpriced and the shipping charges are also inflated. Among the several products that I've tried, I can state that they are for the most part nothing special... and some were completely ineffective. Much of what is in the store is junk that I wouldn't dream of buying. I joined because of the "feed the children" charitable pitch and the fact that I was told that I didn't require a downline to earn. Tampogo "offers" several bonus pools that I've qualified for over my months of involvement. Unfortunately, NONE have delivered a single cent to me, although they said that some of them would start paying out in August 2010. There's ALWAYS an excuse for each failure to deliver at Tampogo. I've also consistently had problems getting my orders delivered... although I pay a hefty fee for shipping, I've found on more than one occasion that they send TWO months worth of products in a single shipment, thereby saving on their overhead and adding to their profit, no doubt. There are the weekly "pep talk" conference calls, but they come off as hype most of the time, making unsubstantiated claims about products without putting the research and clinical trial data on the website. It's a "take my word for it approach" and they try to keep the enthusiasm going with the "next big thing" angle. The store has expanded somewhat, but is still poorly presented. There are many new products being added, thankfully, and perhaps they will turn things around. Instead of meeting the commitment to iReps, the focus always seems to be on the next big thing, but it comes off as hype more often than not. The CEO, Chuck Stebbins, is purported to have been a major success with product lines for GNC in the past and is stated to be one of the CO-founders of MySpace, not its' creator, as some have stated. He does, however, take the time to respond to some of his emails. He responded to one of mine, but didn't answer my questions and instead continued the pitch about how wonderful the company is and how fortunate we all are for being involved. I've sent 2 subsequent emails asking for some clarification about the failure to deliver on some of the parts of the program and response to my concerns since then... but, I've heard nothing. I also invested $600 in the Push Button Marketing Program that they touted at $100/ unit. It was supposed to have launched in July and now, 2 months later, it's still not off the ground. This program was supposed to not only generate an income, but also provide me with the assignment of potential downline members. So, in 7 months, I'm about $1000 in, and I haven't earned a cent, nor have I gotten any downline referrals. I can NOT recommend Tampogo to anyone at this point. If things turn around and they begin to deliver on their promises, I will be the first to start tooting their horn... until then, BEWARE! |

Tampogo is the REAL DEAL I joined Tampogo about two months ago, at the time not really getting a handle and just trusting my friend. It was not in vain. Tampogo has multiple ways to pay people. First let me say that the products from Tampogo are QUALITY. My friend ordered a necklace from them for $20 and it could easily have been worth $80. They just came out with a all natural new product called CACAO WOW which will be sold at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, GNC at retail, but is sold through the Tampogo website for wholesale. The product rocks! Every morning when I get up, I drink my coffee and dive into my computer. About an hour or two later, I'm beginning to feel the wear. On the mornings I take the Cacao Wow, I just keep going. No headaches, no hunger, I'm focused and I get much more done. The guy running the company, Chuck Stebbins, is a man of integrity. He's a bio chemist who really digs into the cells and what will help them. He was the former founder of Myspace and he has a good head on his shoulders. Google Him! He hooked up with the Feed My Starving Children organization and with the proceeds of every product that is bought through the Tampogo shopping mall, a starving child is fed somewhere in the world. Tampogo has two main money streams. The first is the Tampogo Uni-level plan. Where every month you purchase a product for about $25 and feed a child for a week. As more people come in under you, more money is added to your monthly payout. It's not a lot, but it does add up. The second stream is called Tango. For a one time product package purchase of $299, you feed starving children for a month and you start the process of the 2 x 4 matrix. You get two, help them get two and you are paid $600 cash and another $299 product package. And the cycle starts over. I have been in two months and I'm already seeing a profit. They have products to help get rid of skin tags and age spots. They are on the cutting edge for Diabetes elimination products. They are releasing a new toothpaste that uses no chemicals, but friendly bacteria to build up your teeth. Tampogo has a vision, the training has improved considerably. They have live calls, recorded calls, blogs, websites, groups. It's very active and those who start out will make a good income and feel good. This is still a ground floor opportunity and if the man who took Myspace from 0 to 100 can do that, what will he do for those who are in Tampogo? It's a good business model and they are coming out with a new website to make it even easier. I give Tampogo and A+. |

Most comments on here are from Pro Sellers I know this comment is kind of different than the other ones but if you look @ the one that mention Netflix above, people make a killing with it. Also he claims he has has no experience with it then claims he's doing really well with his one blah blah, blah. Anyways I have read almost every scam in the book & this is only similar to melaleuca.com which had pretty much the same promotion type in the past when I tried it. Basically to make any money you had to spend $ per month which while some can do it, most can't. If you can write bs all over the web and tell everyone how "good and how this is such an unbelievable offer" like all the rest, then you are such a scam artist and you should enjoy hell when you get there. I seen nothing "revolutionary" about this place & it's basically the same thing with a different name. Also read above and learn to spot the differences between real reports and fake ones. It's really strange how the original thread said it wasn't all that great and now all of a sudden lots of people like it reading the rest. Also stop scamming people with your "excellent written articles" promoting a product that doesn't live up to expectations on everything else you scam artist. May you burn in hell scammers!

I joined Tampogo12 days ago I joined Tampogo just over a week ago and I am really liking it so far. Today is 1/17/10.I have been searching for something real and I like the fact that $1 of every order goes to help feed starving children. Most of their products are cheaper than other places I have looked for the same product. Yes you have to buy a fast track product to earn commissions but look at it this way, if you are going to buy it anyway why not here and help yourself and others. If more people would just realize the benefits of helping their fellow man we would all get a lot further in life. This is a new company and with every new company is has to start some where. I was on a call with the owner last Tuesday and the response to the products are amazing. There are a few products that have not come out yet but samples have gone out and there are about 8 different people in 6 different countries asking if they can carry these products and they are not even on the market yet. The growth of this company in my opinion is going to be amazing. They don't have any banners to advertise with yet so I have created some of my own if anyone is interested I will give them to you. There is also a Fox News Report capture page that is set up just for Tampogo I got it just 3 days ago and have had really good response with it. I am going to stick with this one and see where the ride takes me. |

Joined Tampogo because It was highly recommended I joined Tampogo about 6 months ago because it was highly recommended by an individual in am IM marketing group I belong to. I think the concept is very solid and the charitable aspect of it is the most attractive aspect of it. Feeding the hungry is a high priority for me in my charitable giving. My problem with Tampogo is that I just can't get excited about it. The business opportunity is a basic run-of-the mill MLM structure with the built in autoship that is something that is a real turnoff for me because the products are (how to put this tactfully?) somewhat dull. They have candles, bath products, some jewelry, printer ink, windbreaker sets and some other very basic products. Nothing really jumps out and says "Wow" to me, so it would be very hard to promote. Although I am signed up as an affiliate, I just can't muster up the enthusiasm for it. I stay signed on in the hopes that they may in the future come up with a more dramatic, marketable product.

TAMPOGO Is The PERFECT NON-PROFIT FUNDRAISER In A RECESSION Interesting, I have been involved since start and although initial product listing was incomplete, it was stated clearly from the start that this was beta testing stage, or as many call, pre-pre-launch. lol The compensation plan is simple, and well defined, it is a basic uni-level, so where first post said it was not well defined, I don't know what is difficult about a uni-level to understand? It is one of the easiest of all compensation plans to understand. If you are looking for a get rich quick deal, move on, this is not it. The payout per level is small by comparison at a flat $1.20, but if you see the long term concept, it gets very powerful given it is based on viral marketing, real value which people will want to share with their friends and families, which is not true with 99% of all the rest of MLM's where you promote overpriced me too products for the most part. Since it costs nothing to become a representative or member, it should grow quickly based on the savings alone, at least this is what I am seeing. With no mandatory autoship, which scares away most people seeking a home business, I find this to be the perfect strategy to get people started. Granted, if you want to earn commissions, you have to make a purchase of roughly $20 on items you are already purchasing for more elsewhere, so not a big deal if you simply search the site for items you already purchase elsewhere for more, and believe me there are many which will save you money too. With a free program, many may not take it serious, but if you look at how easy it is to build based on helping people save money, it grows slow but sure with little effort. Most people do not like to sell overpriced products, so no selling is involved, just telling, so more people will be attracted over the long term and since no one will drop out, attrition, the biggest reason why most fail in MLM, is eliminated. If you eliminate attrition in any program, your success is assured if you simply don't quit. I research them all, and especially concentrate on recession proof businesses, and TamPogo is on top of my list. As one who also helps non-profit fundraisers, this is where I find this TamPogo-Fundraiser is top shelf. Given each purchase feeds a starving child for a full week, non-profits love TamPogo concept, sort of a fundraiser within a fundraiser. Fundraisers are hurting, and with TamPogo-Fundraiser option being free with no purchasing of inventory or selling, volunteers can benefit for the first time, and with more people worried about losing their jobs, causing volunteerism to be way off, this is a program I find is being well received by non-profits I work with. If you take the time to review all the products, it gets better every week. In fact, this week a new exclusive skin care line was added, so with a little patience, there will be something for everyone in time, so keep checking for new products is my experience, you will be surprised just how much value is represented already. I researched every single resveratrol product on the market as I had been using this amazing product for a couple years, given it is a proven anti aging supplement well documented and it has been all over the TV, 60 minutes, Oprah, etc. , and with TamPogo it is only $28.95 for 500 mg, less than half the price over nearest competition given same mg comparison. All the other health and weight loss products are also amazingly high quality and low price, so watch out MLM nutritional companies, TamPogo is going to destroy them all in time. In a recession, what does everyone want? They want to save money, simple as that, and TamPogo is going to save everyone hundreds at minimum each year, so compare this with all the others and how many really save you money? Most will cost you more, and probably the best acid test I use when researching recession proof businesses is this. Ask yourself a question, would you make a purchase from your MLM if not for the income opportunity? If you answer honestly, most will say no, and this is the reason attrition is eating up the so called heavy hitters income this year, most who aren't even breaking even are bailing on product purchases every month, and this is only going to get worse. In closing with my experience to date, I was shopping for a Guess ladies watch which had a MSRP of $359, I always use ShopZilla and NexTag before I purchase anything to insure I have found the lowest price. Well, this time Amazon came up with lowest price in my search at $279. Not a bad savings, right? Well, when I got it from TamPogo-Fundraiser, it was only $139.95, half the price of best low price from Amazon, so was it worth being a free member of TamPogo, yes it was and is. I have already saved almost a thousand dollars and with Christmas shopping just getting under way, I expect to save another thousand this month, so I recommend everyone join TamPogo-Fundraiser and focus on helping others save money, and if they save money, everyone will earn money too. Success to all |

TamPogo Took Me to the Next Level I joined Tampogo on 8-19-09 after having zero success with multiple other network and multilevel marketing opportunities. I originally joined to help feed some starving kids. I figured I would join for free, throw the link on my blog and if anyone signed up I would buy a product. Then I went to one corporate call; met Isaac McLemore and as they say the rest is history. I now have 96 people on my team; 40% are active and I grow every day. (Remember this is someone who had zero success with other online opportunities.) So what got me to create this success; 3 simple things. 1. Low cost of entry; FREE and only an average of $25-$30 to activate the commissions. 2. Leadership with a real vision based on real business models. I have 20 years experience working for startups (last one was Netflix); I have made money on stock with 4 of 6 startups. So when I see a company with real potential; I know it... 3. Their commitment to feeding starving kids will make a difference. My team alone has fed hundreds of kids already. Folks most of you have NEVER been in a startup environment. Well I have... It takes a little time to get it all right. Launching the site with limited products was the right thing to do. If you wait around for perfection guess what, you will never do anything. When I joined the store had about 400 items; there are now over 1000. I LOVE a bunch of them. I have purchased everything from jewelry and clothing to health and beauty products and have been overly impressed with the quality of everything and the photos and descriptions get better and better each month. I have personally spoken with on several occasions Isaac McLemore, Chuck Stebbins and Chuck Hansen and have always been impressed with their honesty and straightforward approach. TamPogo is the real deal and anyone who wants to make the effort will create an income from this. There are no magic wands and this is not a get rich quick scheme but, with REAL effort you will create wealth. |

This is working for me I joined TamPogo about four months ago and it is working great for me. I have been promoting the store, but mostly focusing on the men's clothing and the NCAA products. These seem to be selling right now for me. I am earning a nice commission off of these sales. I also have 6 active referrals under me, so I only need two more to see the full benefits of the compensation plan. For me this has been a success. I think a lot of it has to do with which part of the store you heavily favor and promote the most. Yes, my customers are shown the full store when they click on my link, but my comments direct them to the men's clothing and NCAA products.

Very Disappointing I was so excited when I signed up for this program. I could not believe that it was a free opportunity. Well it is not exactly free because you are required to purchase Fast Track products each month ($20-30) The problem that I had was with the products... customers who I sent to my site simply were not impressed with them. The types of products that they offer were expensive in my book. I did like some of the clothing and tried to promote that, but no luck. Maybe since they are new, things will improve. I did like their fundraising plan for nonprofit organizations. I decided that this was a waste of time for me so I cannot recommend it to others. |

Tampogo has a long way to go After being with Tampogo for a short time it does seem to me that the leadership team is in this for the long haul and they are truly behind their mission of making a difference on world hunger. There are far too many companies that say they are humanitarian but they never come through with the goods. Tampogo also has excellent customer service as far as response time to any questions. You actually have real people answering your service requests and/or questions, not some awful automated email system generating canned responses that don't answer your question. I believe that Tampogo has a great future, especially if they can connect with and build relationships with non-profits and charities to grow their business. I see two major things holding them back... 1. The "no cost to join" is a double edged sword. While it does mean that anyone can now have their own business, it also means that you get a lot of people joining the business and not doing anything with it. It all gets back to that old saying "You get what you pay for". If people don't have to pay anything up front they really do not have vested interest in working Tampogo as a business because they don't feel they have to work on it to get their investment back. My experience is that close to 75% of my downline has done absolutely nothing with building their Tampogo business. 2. The whole shopping experience has been disappointing due to the lack of products, inadequate product descriptions, and a poor search and menu system. My experience with the pricing is that they are really not discounted that much. Tampogo is a new company and if they can get their product inventory expanded and make it a more enjoyable site to shop on, they have a great chance for success. They should have waited a few more months before they launched - they launched before their products and shipping cart were ready. They should also set up a recurring monthly fee structure to ensure that only serious people are in Tampogo as a business. People that invest ZERO dollars usually yield ZERO results. The required $20 a month purchase to get your commission check just isn't going to generate the business activity and downline development they need. This is a competitive niche to be in. There is no shortage of places to shop on the Internet, nor is there a shortage of network marketing companies geared around selling similar products. I wish them well. |

I joined Tampogo before 8months. I think the concept of system is very easy to understand, the business policy of this system is like MLM structure. They have so many products like candles, bath products, jewelry, printer ink etc. The system is different than the other ones, people can easily make money with this. In my point of view I think the concept of this system is very good.

Joined Tampogo back in March of 2010 because of the lure of an I-Rep Appreciation Bonus, in which one was to buy a product for six months, and then be paid out of products sold by the company. It never happened. Then there was the next bonus where you buy a product for three months in a row and would be paid out of the sales of a procake that Chuck Stebbeins said was in high demand. I thought he was supposed to be this brilliant biochemist like he lets everyone know.
I have a free membership with Tampogo.
I joined Tampogo about 7 months ago and entered with enthusiasm and support from a Team Leader.

I was so excited when I signed up for this program.
