Update to our International user policy
Effective immediately we are no longer accepting new users from the Philippines, Malaysia or Singapore. We are just seeing too much fraud and inappropriate use of the site coming from these countries. For all the details on our updated policy on international users, please see this Frequently Asked Question on the FAQs page.
Active existing users from these countries are NOT affected by this policy change.
We are however canceling existing user accounts from these countries who signed up and have no activity and no credits owed.

I can understand the rationale behind the ruling. There is one niggling question in relation to the period of inactivity.
So far there had been times when I was unable to be online for a few months. Once it was slightly more than a year. Based on the message I may lose my account should I become inactive. What is the grace period? Is there a way around it?
The pruning of inactive international members mentioned above was a one-time thing to go along with the new policies. We have no other current policy on “inactive” users. If you are currently a member then you should be fine. We don’t plan on deleting or canceling inactive accounts going forward as it wouldn’t really serve any purpose.
It is a pity that there are people out there who will spam and make it difficult for those who don’t do these kinds of things but are still penalized because of others. I know that you are doing the right thing but still feel sorry for the innocent ones.
