Deoramy47's comment on Hit2Hit ...
Got positive results from here
I was actually very skeptical of Hit2Hit before I joined since I've been with a numerous amount of traffic exchange websites that failed. But when I joined, I realized how easy it was to use in order to get more traffic to my sites. I spent about a few hours each day for two months earning credits on here and the outcome was pretty amazing. I began to notice an increase of visitors to my websites in just a few days. But of course, I ended up quitting Hit2Hit only because I did not have the time in my schedule to earn credits. However, I do intend to return to them if I am ever in need of more traffic in the future.
This is one of the best traffic exchange sites I've ever been with and this is very high on my list. You should definitely check out Hit2Hit if you're looking for an easy way to get some extra traffic.
Deoramy47's comment on Yahoo! Web Hosting ...
Too expensive and not the best
Yahoo! webhosting is definitely at the bottom of the list for me. Unless you are completely new to building websites, then this one isn't for you. Not to mention, their payed hosting plans are very limited and are way too expensive. There are other websites out there that will offer you a lot more for a lot less. My overall experience with Yahoo's hosting service was not all that great. Their support team was kind of slow to responding to my needs as well. Your best bet is looking for a dedicated web hosting company, unlike Yahoo!.
The only good thing I can really say about Yahoo! as a whole is that they are better at providing email accounts and have a great search engine. I don't recommend using them as a hosting provider though.
Deoramy47's comment on I5.com ...
Not that bad
I joined I5 just over 3 months ago and I have to say that it isn't really that bad. I was actually referred to this site through a referral program. At the time, I thought it looked interesting so I gave it a chance. The sign up was incredibly fast and easy which I thought was nice, however, I did have a little trouble installing the toolbar at the beginning, as I needed to use FireFox in order for it to work. This is a legitimate site and you can earn a decent amount of money from them if you have the time. I earned about $25 since I first joined and I spent a lot of time trying to get it.
I recommend I5 if you have a lot of time to spare and if you're on the web a lot. Otherwise, you won't make a lot from it because the pay outs are lower than most other ptc sites. Overall, this is very unique compared to most other ptc sites.
Deoramy47's comment on Get Ref ...
Didn't work for me
I found Get Ref to be a big waste of time for the most part. I joined over a year ago hoping that I would be able to get some referrals to my gpt and ptc sites. The first thing I did there was some sign ups as well as ad clicking in order to get enough credits for my first few referrals. At first, I managed to get a total of 4 referrals, but none of them were active. Then later, I saved up enough credits to get another 2 referrals and again, they were inactive on my sites. What I discovered quickly about Get Ref was that it was easy to get referrals, but it was almost impossible to get referrals that were active. The entire concept of the site is a very good one, but it doesn't work most of the time which is kind of sad. You'll get a lot of new referrals at Get Ref, but nothing more than that I'm afraid.
Deoramy47's comment on PTC Now ...
Book contains only common knowledge of PTC
This ebook did absolutely nothing for me. All of the things that were inside of it was rehashed data and nothing new. I had gotten into ptc a while ago and wanted to try and make more money from it so I decided to purchase this. The information contained in this book was very basic and wasn't worth paying money for. You could easily find everything from it on the internet. What upset me most though was he also lists some 'recommended' ptc sites in his book, but several of them I found to be scams. Although the book is fairly cheap, it's an absolute waste of money regardless. You're better off just keeping the money in your pocket and looking through blogs for free. No doubt, you'll probably have better luck searching for information rather than obtaining it through this book.
Deoramy47's comment on Fortune City ...
Best free host for small businesses
I joined Fortune City a few of years ago after completing my second XHTML course in College and I wanted to start up my very first website from scratch. I was very pleased with their free webhosting plan. Their servers are reliable and they have a variety of tools to make the building of your website much easier. It was professional and it provided me with a decent amount of storage and I had access to customer support at anytime, which was nice. They were very prompt in assisting me with all of my questions and issues as well. It was completely free and I couldn't argue with that. My experience with them was a pleasant one for the most part.
The free webhosting plan at Fortune City is great for students and individuals who are looking for a low cost alternative host. I definitely recommend their site to anyone who is considering joining.
Deoramy47's comment on ReviewMe ...
Pays well if you manage to get an offer
I joined ReviewMe over two months ago and I can count on one hand how many times I received a review job from them. Although it is kind of hard to get work with them, they do pay much better than most similar companies. It all depends on the category and field of your blog and it's search rank, from what it looks like. Since I've been with them, I have managed to get one offer and I was payed $20 so I can't really say that I'm completely dissatisfied. It probably isn't a good idea for a newer blogger to join ReviewMe, I imagine that it would be that much harder for them to get a review job.
This site is only good for people with blogs that are at least 4 to 5 months old. Other than what I mentioned above, this site does pay very well and it's worth a try in my book.
Deoramy47's comment on Melaleuca ...
Good, wholesome products
I first heard of the company Melaleuca several years ago when I got an email advertising it. At the time, I was very desperate to find any kind of work from home, as I had gotten arthritis and was way too exhausted to work outside. After listening to a live telephone conference with some affiliates of Melaleuca, I got in to it quickly. Instantly, my main problem with them was that I was unable to sell much of their products. They were a little too expensive to the public. They do have some very nice house hold products and food for people with sensitivities. The products are better than average and even today I occasionally buy some things from them. But that's where it ends.
After about 3 months or so, I had to quit with them because I could not afford to buy the products any more. I was spending more than I was selling at that point, the monthly selling quota was just too high. I have been tempted to go back and try again though since I know a lot more about marketing today than I did back then.
Deoramy47's comment on Lunar Pages ...
Good basic hosting for smaller websites
I purchased a plan for 3 months at Lunar Pages last Spring and their service was really good over all. I didn't experience any downtime from their servers. I had a sufficient amount of bandwidth as well as storage and their support center was always responsive to my questions. Their service was very satisfying but I wasn't all that crazy about their long term hosting plans. Some of them were even kind of expensive when comparing them to other web hosting services. The best deal from them is the $4.95 basic plan, but your plan must be a minimum of 60 months, which isn't very flexible in my opinion.
Lunar Pages is a high end hosting service for the most part, but I would only recommend it to people who are looking to make a small or private website. If you're trying to make a larger business or an ecommerce site, you might want to consider looking elsewhere, as the monthly rates could get pretty expensive here.
Deoramy47's comment on TrafficPods ...
A decent traffic exchange site
TrafficPods is pretty unique when comparing it to similar exchange websites. Although it was quite confusing at first glance, I quickly caught on to how it all worked. What makes this so different from other traffic exchange websites is that instead of clicking through site after site, you click through 10 websites in a given pod. You even get bonus points for clicking through a certain amount of pods. Personally I did not have the time in my schedule to click through so many sites in order to get all of the bonuses or to become a pod owner. Nonetheless, I did receive a lot of extra traffic using this site.
Unless you have a lot of time on your hands, you probably shouldn't try to go after the super pod, as you will be spending a lot of time trying to get it. I recommend TrafficPods to anyone who is looking for a better-than-average traffic exchange service.
Deoramy47's comment on Followe.rs ...
Didn't come close to meeting my expectations
I signed up for this at the beginning of 2010. Marketing with a Twitter account was always something that I wanted to try out for the longest, so I signed up for their trial. The Followe.rs tool is very convenient. You have the option of turning all of the posts you make into automated ones, which can save you a lot of time in the future. I was able to get a few followers but none of them ever signed up under me. I had to stop just before the trial ended because I knew I wouldn't be able to break even with this. $37 a month is a lot of money to be spending every month on something that doesn't work for you.
I'm pretty sure this system has the potential of working if you put in a lot of time, effort and unfortunately, money. You should give Followe.rs a try, but do the trial first, as the regular monthly price is very expensive.
Deoramy47's comment on My Free Text Ads ...
Decent amount of traffic, but nothing more
I signed up for a free membership with MyFreeTextAds a while ago and I thought it was nice that you started out with 1000 free bonus points. What I also thought was great was that free members had the ability to obtain a pro membership by earning 35,000 points from simply clicking on other people's ads. But what I quickly realized about this website was that all of the clicks my ads were receiving were from other members trying to get more points. While the extra traffic was nice, it wasn't doing anything to help get my conversion rates up.
I wouldn't really consider this particular website to be useful to someone who wants to increase their conversion rates by a substantial amount. Either way, I do recommend that you give this site a go. But I suggest that you start out with a free membership initially.
Deoramy47's comment on Referral Flood ...
Great book with real techniques
Prior to finding out about this book last month, I was not really interested in getting referrals to the sites I was with. This was mainly because I didn't know what steps I needed to take in order to get them. After realizing all that I was missing out on, I decided that I needed to do a little research on what I could do to increase the number of referrals I was getting. I stumbled upon this ebook soon after that and I'm glad I did. The tips that are offered in the book and in the audio are valid and extremely helpful. I've managed to get a few referrals to one of my sites right away, which is very encouraging.
It's only been a little over a month since I purchased this book, but I expect to see more results sometime down the line. This is definitely a book you should have if you're struggling with referrals.
Deoramy47's comment on E-Junkie ...
Simple ecommerce alternative
I used E-Junkie before I knew how to set up my own e-commerce shop. Around then, I didn't have a whole lot of money to spend and I needed a service that was well within my budget. E-Junkie was only $5 a month, this was a steal for me. When I first visited the website and registered, I almost immediately got the hang of how the system worked. It was very simple. All I had to do was create the products I wanted in the administration tab, set the product specs and prices, and I was off to receiving my button code. Not only do they give you the option to sell digital products, but you can also sell a few physical items as well, like CDs that can be sent in the mail. If you are new to e-commerce, I recommend that you use E-Junkie to start off at. It's a low cost alternative and you don't have to install anything special in order for it to work.
Deoramy47's comment on Templates Box ...
Great site with awesome templates
The templates on this website are some of the best I've seen on the web. Even as a free member at Templates Box, the templates that are available to me are very professional looking. They've got templates for several programs, including Flash and Powerpoint. What really caught my attention here though was that they have an entire section with tutorials for people who are learning how to create and edit their own templates.
I'm most likely going to remain a free member with this website because they still have a lot to offer even if you aren't premium. If you're looking for a large variety of great looking templates for free, this is the place to go.
Deoramy47's comment on Anything4Free ...
It works, but it's not free
I joined Anything4Free last November in hopes of being able to make some fast and easy cash without spending a dime. On my first day, I read up on the tips provided by the website and began trading in the beginners trading post. To my surprise, it was not free or simple to make money doing this. The only thing they allowed me to do as a beginner was complete offers for people and hope that they approved. I ended up doing one offer and earning a total of $17. The problem though was I had to spend $10 out of my own pocket, so really I only made $7.
The upside to Anything4free is that it is not a scam and you can earn a bit of money if you complete the offers correctly. However, the downside is that you could actually lose money in the process. I don't recommend doing this because it's risky and if your offers stay pending, you'll be wasting your time and money.
Deoramy47's comment on Earn Fast Cash With Google ...
This is definitely not legitimate
I was silly enough to click on one of those Google money making ads and thought that it was a legitimate program because it was run by Google. Everyone knows and trusts Google and their search engine so I said, why not give this a try? Well, I am sad to say that you most definitely will not earn any money from this, you might lose a lot of it though. It is a complete waste of time and money, and I regret ever thinking that I could earn thousands of dollars with Google in a short amount of time. Everything on the internet takes time and effort, there is no easy way. Stay away from this thing. It will save you the headache that myself and a bunch of other people experienced. Don't do it.
Deoramy47's comment on Blastomatic ...
Great free method of advertising
I was very skeptical, and even a little scared of Blastomatic at first because I didn't know what to expect. I tried it and I am very happy I did. It was hard to believe that the only information they needed was my name, site url, my email address, and my phone number in order to submit my website to millions of web pages for free. This is what made me think that Blastomatic was too good to be true, but I was very wrong.
Traffic to my site increased drastically soon after I submitted my site. I eventually submitted my other websites to Blastomatic, which improved their page ranks and traffic as well. This is the real deal. Definitely give this one a shot if you're skeptical like I was.
Deoramy47's comment on 11k in 4 Hours ...
A bit misleading, but still worthwhile
Although it's probably almost impossible and out of reach to earn over 11k in a few days, the information that is offered in this manual is pretty useful. I think the ebook should be renamed something else because the majority of people who look at the website that advertises it will think that it is a giant scam. It's definitely not a scam. Every dollar I spent on this book was well worth it, as I ended up earning it all back, and then some. I made $435 within one week of following the guide. After about a month, I was at $2,377. That is incredible for my standards. I wasn't used to earning so much in that short of time.
This is a good read and I definitely recommend reading this ebook to everyone. Great product.
Deoramy47's comment on OnlyWire 3.0 ...
Very convenient and time saving
OnlyWire is an incredibly useful utility for submitting websites and blogs to social bookmarking sites quickly. I first heard about OnlyWire in an email from someone in one of my downlines. I've been using it ever since then and I have submitted all of my websites with it as well. They give you a large list of book marking sites that you can add your site too, you create a single log in, submit your website and info about it, and that's all. It is the best social bookmark submission site I've come across so far and it's getting more and more popular.
Everyone with a website or two should definitely use OnlyWire. It saved me a lot of time and I'm glad that I found out about them when I did.
Deoramy47's comment on Viral-List ...
A waste of my money
I was never able to get anyone to sign up for this program, months after I joined Viral-List. It didn't even matter how many people I told about this program. Everyone I brought it up which gave me the impression that the program was untrustworthy. All efforts were a miserable failure in the end. It's a terrible scheme in my opinion. I basically handed Viral-List my money and got nothing from them in return.
Stay away from Viralist and spend your cash on something that is actually worth while. Or better yet, just save your money.
Deoramy47's comment on My Cash Dragon ...
A little risky in the beginning, but definitely worth it
Firstly, Cash Dragon only cost me $20 to join, which was a pin drop considering that I've paid for more expensive memberships than this one in the past, most of which didn't pay me anything. So I gave this one a try, paid my $20 and was ready to go. I didn't have too much time to promote my website all day and all night, so I wasn't making top dollar, but I was definitely earning enough money with it to pay off bills. What came in handy the most for me was Cash Dragon's promotional rotation. There are very few programs that are willing to give you a product to sell and in addition, help you to promote the site you're going to sell it on.
I favor Cash Dragon not only for the money I earned, but it was also sort of a learning curve for me as well.
Deoramy47's comment on BooksWealth ...
Very useful and valuable
I am very impressed by BooksWealth's service. I found out about this website just two months ago and I intend to continue doing business with them. When I discovered BooksWealth, I signed up for it on the same night and was able to start selling ebooks right away. I found this method of resale to be more convenient than others, for the fact that customers could easily receive ebooks, as opposed to material products. This is the most success I've had with a resale program. It's still very early in for me, since I've only been doing this for about two months, but it's been very promising so far.
I recommend BooksWealth over most other home business programs. It's a great way to get some extra income flowing in.
Deoramy47's comment on Ezycashgifts ...
Terrible concept and loss of $5
It all sounded easy when I first signed up. I just had to pay $5 to the person who referred me and then I had to refer someone else and get them to pay the same $5 to me that I payed. So on and so on. The problem here was getting the next person to sign up and pay. Everyone I talked to about this program instantly shot it down and didn't want to hear about it. I ended up wasting $5 in the long run, as I didn't make a red cent from Eazycashgifts. What made it so bad though was that you didn't pay just one fee, but the more people who signed up under you, the more money you had to pay. It's a completely terrible concept as a whole.
I don't recommend this program to anyone. I don't know whether it is legitimate or not, however, I do know that it is a good way to waste a little bit of money.
Deoramy47's comment on Freebie Force ...
You can easily find free offers all over the internet
I don't think they should be able to call themselves 'free' when they charge a monthly fee for the so called freebies. However, when I first joined Freebie Force, the fee was only $9.95 per month, compared to the $19.95 per month it costs now. I used to get a lot of nice print coupons for free samples and discounts on select items. I even remember receiving a really nice coupon for 50% off on dry cat food. As they raised the monthly cost for their service, the amount of good freebies seemed to dwindle. That just didn't make any sense to me.
Don't waste your money on this. $19.95 is way too much money to be spending on this kind of site. You're better off finding free offers on your own by taking some time to search the internet.
Deoramy47's comment on Fairy Ads ...
Waste of time
I joined Fairy Ads traffic exchange site several months ago and was not happy with their free service. The site seemed way too vacant, there wasn't a lot of good traffic options with their free program. The only real upside to Fairy Ads is that it was incredibly easy to earn credits to use for receiving more traffic. I only got about 4 views to my website in a period of two days. It just really felt like I was wasting a lot of time and getting very little in return.
I don't recommend this site to anyone who is looking to increase their traffic by a lot. It just isn't worth it in my honest opinion. It's a beautiful website and that is as far as it goes.
Deoramy47's comment on Chitika ...
Not the best in my opinion
I was with Adsense before I signed up for Chitika. Adsense was decent but I felt that my earning potential with ads could have been better. I have been with Chitika since the middle of 2009 and I have 2 ads up at my blog at the moment. I kind of had my hopes up too high for this company and in the end, I earned less with their ads than I did with Google Adsense. My conversion rate was significantly reduced and my ads appeared to not be worth as much. I earned much more with Adsense.
Chitika is a pretty good ad service, but in my opinion, I don't think it should replace adsense completely. It should only be used along side Adsense ads. Overall, Chitika is just okay.
Deoramy47's comment on Link2Me ...
The best link exchange site I've joined so far
I heard a lot of good things about Link2Me through a money making forum I used to be with. Previously, I had joined many sites that were similar to Link2Me with little to no success. But I gave this site a shot out of sheer desperation. I signed up and soon began receiving exchange requests from different users, which was very encouraging. I was actually very surprised at the extra traffic I was getting to my blog after a couple of weeks as a result of exchanging my link. It wasn't really a major traffic boost, but it was great progress considering it was all received through a free service.
Overall, I am glad that I discovered this website. This is the best link exchange site I've ever been with. I highly recommend this site to all bloggers.
Deoramy47's comment on Blog Inferno ...
Great for those who wish to get more out of their blogs
I was referred to the Blog Inferno ebook by a fellow blogger and friend who was also looking to increase his monthly income. He started telling me how much more money he was making as a result of reading this guide and to no surprise, I was excited.
Before I bought this book, I didn't have a clue on how to earn some extra cash from writing on my blog. I used to make blogs with the intention of making money, and I would end up abandoning them because I felt that I was wasting my time. There wasn't enough information on the internet that could teach me how to do this successfully. That's when I bought this ebook. It went through various steps such as the beginning development of your blog and monetization. I remember getting so excited when I made my first few dollars on my art blog. I was at my wits end when it came to blogging, and this gave me new hope.
This is a wonderful ebook. I enjoy being able to earn a little passive income each month from my blogs. Blog Inferno is definitely worth checking out.
Deoramy47's comment on AFFMETER ...
Has done a lot of good for me
AFFMETER is one of the most useful and satisfying services I've ever used. I discovered AFFMETER shortly after joining several affiliate programs for the first time. Prior to using the AFFMETER, I used to have to keep track of my login info by creating a spreadsheet. This was very annoying, as this forced me to keep having to have to open up the spreadsheet program over and over again. Now, all I have to do is login to the member's area of the site and input my login information from my Affiliate programs.
What I love most about this is that it saves me so much time and effort. I can just log in to my affiliate programs all at once whenever I'd like. The AFFMETER was worth every dollar I spent on it. It was an investment that I was actually proud of.
Deoramy47's comment on OptiSpider ...
Good for those who are prone to making mistakes
I started using the Optispider software after creating a book shop page for my website. This software has proven to be useful to me after it caught several errors on my webpage that I would have otherwise never found on my own. It tells you in plain detail what you can do to correct an error, like load errors and link problems. I'm not really one to catch on to a mistake in advance, so this program really helped me in that department. I now use the Optispider with all of my websites, it's safe to say that I am happy with it so far. I had to change some of the settings when I first began using it, but other than that, I haven't experienced any problems with Optispider.
Deoramy47's comment on Newbie Cash Machine ...
One of the best newbie marketing ebooks i've read
When I had first become interested in the internet marketing business, I purchased a lot of ebooks to get me on the right track. The Newbie Cash Machine is one of the most descriptive books geared towards guiding beginners in the business. These tips in the book can also be used by more advanced marketers as well. Even though this was originally intended for newbies, anyone can learn to make a moderate amount of cash reading this. It was a long read, but in the end, well worth it. Overall, I was pretty happy with the results that Newbie Cash Machine helped to produce. This ebook is a must have for newbies that want to know how to earn money and eventually, learn how to make a decent living from affiliate marketing.
Deoramy47's comment on All Submitter ...
A very useful utility
This is a great site submission software that really does work. It is a lot easier than going on the internet and submitting your website to all of the directories by hand. My website's ranking increased and so did it's number of backlinks. All Submitter is fast, easy to use, and was worth the amount that it cost in my opinion. I noticed more visitors to my website soon after using this product and I honestly believe that much of my fanbase today came about due to using this product. It's a great program that I highly recommend to people with fresh websites looking to increase their site's search rank.
Deoramy47's comment on Project Payday ...
Very non secure method of earning money
I was directed to Project Payday through a blog that I was reading about tips on how to make money. On the blog, they claimed that the program was totally free, which I later discovered was a huge lie. I signed up and watched all of the instructional videos that went along with the sign up. After watching the last video, I was then told to sign up for a trial offer, which was nowhere near being free. When I was done with that, I was directed to some links to different forums. These were the sites that were going to help you earn 'the big money'.
It all started going in a downward spiral from then on. The offers that you had to 'go green' on were not free either. I only did one of the offers and it took an entire day for it to go green. I got $20 for doing it, but I payed $10 to get it. You have to cancel all of the offers you sign up for, because they'll eventually bill you every month for registering for their services. The reason I feel that this isn't the best way to make money is because you could end up actually losing money if the offer you've done doesn't go green. Stay away from this program, you stand the risk of losing a lot of money.
Deoramy47's comment on Spiderweb Marketing System ...
Not worth the time
I found out about the Spiderweb Marketing System through a video on youtube. It promised a lot of opportunities to it's members when you signed up. When I first read about it on their site, I thought it sounded pretty legitimate, so I tried it out. I watched all of the videos that were required for getting started and made it to the final step where I had to purchase a GDI account. I personally thought that GDI was more useful than SWMS. For about 2 months, I worked hard to get as many referrals as I could possibly get. In the end, I spent more than I got back.
I suggest that you stay far away from this website. It's got a lot of outdated information on it and I feel that it is just one big waste of time. In my experience, I actually lost money doing this. The Spiderweb Marketing System may be legit, but I didn't see a very big pay off in being a member.
Deoramy47's comment on LinkMachine ...
Free membership is still pretty useful
I went to LinkMachine when I started up my blog. I started off with the free membership in the beginning and I was rather pleased. The program was easy to install to my blog and their support crew was very responsive to my questions. Traffic to my blog increased, not by much, but by at least an extra 100 or so visits per day. On my first week, I got 11 back links to my blog and within 2 months, my blog's ranking went up as well. This is all with the free membership. I am still with LinkMachine and am actually considering using their paid membership to see how well it works. I highly recommend LinkMachine to anyone interested in increasing their site's traffic rank.
Deoramy47's comment on 5 Bucks A Day ...
Good for beginners in the marketing world
Upon purchasing this ebook, I learned that it was a really good source of information for the newbie marketer. He has pretty straight forward, step by step instructions on how to make your first few bucks on the internet. I ended up following the steps completely and I actually made a little over $5 a day. Even though this is not a bad investment, you can find a lot of Dennis' methods on the internet. He just gives you a more in depth run through of them in his ebook. This book is worth every dollar spent, you will earn it all back again if you follow it entirely.
Overall, I am pretty satisfied with this ebook and will probably refer to it again in the future. I do recommend this to all newbies.
Deoramy47's comment on Project Wonderful ...
Extra traffic at a very low cost
Project Wonderful was my very first advertising program used in my webcomic site. Someone was discussing the site over at a hobby art forum when I first discovered it. I signed up on the same day and it took about a week for them to approve me. What I think is so special about Project Wonderful is that it requires little to no money to get started, you can literally start a campaign to bid across the web at 0.01 a bid.
I have been an advertiser as well as a publisher here for a year and my ad boxes go for 0.40 each. On average, I make about $3 a day and spend about $1 a day on advertisements. I haven't received too many conversions with my other ad boxes, but I have noticed a huge increase in traffic. The only thing that I don't like about PW is that it takes a very long time to get approved when you first sign up.
Deoramy47's comment on Built2Go.com ...
Inexpensive and better than paying for a custom design
I used Built2Go before I went to school and learned how to make my own templates from scratch. This is a pretty good value for the cost considering how expensive it would be to hire someone to make a template for you. Not only do they offer ready made templates when you purchase a membership, but there are literally TONS of templates to choose from here, all very eye catching at that. I spent days figuring out what template I wanted to go with for my website. There are templates available for practically every theme out there. The template scripts are fairly easy to install and you can get them up and running for your site right away. Overall, I was very satisfied.
If you're looking for professional ready made PHP templates for a low cost, I suggest using Built2Go.
Deoramy47's comment on Shopify ...
Ideal for business owners looking to start a store
I started up a webcomic several years ago, and recently I had begun looking for ways to earn money with it. So the first thing that came to my mind was making and selling merchandise. At first, I looked at free sites like cafe press and zazzle. I quickly learned that I would make only a small percentage of what I earned through these sites. My uncle recommended shopify to me through email one night, so I thought I'd give it a try.
It was $24 per month for a basic plan, plus a free 30 day trial to test run your shop first. It was very easy to use and all I had to do was upload my designs for the products. Making an attractive looking storefront was very simple. I believe my shop's professional looking layout encouraged customers to buy from it. I was with Shopify for about 5 months and I sold over 30 pieces of merchandise through their service. I am planning to make another shop with them sometime in the future.
I recommend Shopify to those who want a professional merchandise store for their business.

Good except for the ads
It's a good free host. Much more professional than most of the other free host sites out there. I gave this site a shot a while ago and was happy with it, but what I didn't find to be very attractive or convenient were the ads on every page. It made my website look sort of distasteful and unprofessional. They do however, have a lot of different options available with their free package, the one that stood out to me the most was the availability of e-commerce. The process of building a website was very easy and I had the basic layout ready the next day.
So although there are few things that Webs' free service could improve, it is good for beginners and students that are learning to design a website.
Deoramy47's comment on D9 Hosting ...
Very cheap, really likeable hosting site
I have always been one to look for bargains on everything possible. I was with a different host for my second website at the time when I discovered D9 through a random list of hosts. The previous one I was with, which was Awardspace, charged about $50 a year plus $10 per domain. When I first had my site hosted with Awardspace, I thought this was a good deal. D9 is probably the cheapest hosting site I've seen, personally.
I switched to D9 after my 1 year plan at Awardspace expired. When I switched, I was most pleased with the price and their server's performance. I never experienced any down time on my website and it wasn't limited like the last host I was with. By the look of it, D9 is on it's way to becoming one of the most recommended hosts on the web. Definitely a recommended hosting service.
Deoramy47's comment on Crush Your Job ...
Well worth the cost
At only $5, Crush Your Job is one of the best online investments I have ever made. The ebook is pretty big and it is very descriptive in terms of making your affiliate programs work. Before I purchased the book, I jumped in to the affiliate marketing business blindfolded. I had no idea what methods to use in order to make money with my affiliate programs. This ebook is found to be useful and very effective if you are a newbie to affiliate marketing like I was. I'm not making top dollar as an affiliate, but I earn on average about an extra $39 a month for basically doing little of nothing.
If you are a newbie to affiliate marketing, I suggest you get it, it's only $5 after all. This isn't the be all and end all, but it will get you on your feet for the most part.
Deoramy47's comment on Real Cyber Jobs ...
Not recommended unless you are skilled in something
I still don't know why I even bothered to sink $40 in to this program. You are basically paying to get a list of data entry jobs, and most of them are too hard unless you have a computer related skill, ie: Web developer, transcription, etc. Why spend $40 on something when you can easily obtain it for free? You can look for this stuff for free in your own time. I've earned much more from programs that were 100% free. I don't doubt the credibility of Real Cyber Jobs, because they are legitimate. But What I am questioning here is the heavy price tag they included with the use of their service.
So for the most part, I do not recommend this to anyone. You might as well find the work through a free program or by looking them up on a search engine. There are a lot of them out there and they won't charge you a penny to use.
Deoramy47's comment on 24/7 Real Media ...
A very valuable Ad network
I stumbled upon 24/7 Real Media through the google search engine one day. My second website site had been up for several months at this point and was receiving a steady amount of traffic. Not really knowing what to expect from them, I did a thorough search on the company, to find that many people were pleased with their service. So I then signed up with 24/7 Real Media as an advertiser and I was pretty excited with the turn out. The amount of traffic I received was pretty impressive. My search engine rank also went up by quite a bit as a result of signing up with them.
I am also very highly in favor of the ability to manage your ads and campaigns, so there is a moderate amount of flexibility with using their service. This is definitely a must try for all website owners who are looking for ways to boost their traffic. 24/7 Real Media is well worth a shot.
Deoramy47's comment on Instant Dollarz ...
Pays less than similar programs I've tried
I joined Instant Dollarz 2 months ago. When I first applied, it took a very long time to get a response in my inbox. It appears that their customer service as a whole was a little sluggish and almost non existent. While I was there, it didn't seem like they had a lot of offers available to work on and some of the offer links I clicked on did not work. Their advertising system on the other hand was actually very useful.
I ended up getting a 10% increase in traffic per day using Instant Dollarz. Overall, the site offers you many options, the only thing that really bothered me was the response rate from customer service.
Deoramy47's comment on Tripod Free Website Hosting ...
It's okay for newbies. I recommend spending money on a good web host
I had a choice between Tripod and Bravenet when I was first starting out with a webcomic host, and I was rudely surprised at how Tripod's free hosting plan was like. There was not enough web space for me to build a site for my webcomic, only 20 mb. What also kinda drove me up the wall were the banners. It was just very limited, I wasn't happy.
I highly recommend just going out and paying for a good hosting plan if you want to get serious with making a website. The only upside to this I think is that their free hosting plan was easy to use and pretty straight forward for the most part. Also, another good thing about it is, of course, it's free. A student could probably find their free service to be useful.
Deoramy47's comment on SlideInAd ...
Earned more money from this than program
Although the $27 a month isn't all that bad, it was tough to pay off in the beginning since money was tight. But in the end, I wound up breaking even/getting more in return. I was a bit skeptical of SlideinAd at first, but this was actually recommended to me by my friend's mother, and I was pretty sure she wasn't going to talk me in to something that wasn't gonna work or was a scam.
It took me a few hours to set it up with my site, but that's because I'm not all that computer savvy. My conversion rate almost doubled within about 2 weeks. The company did make it seem like I'd get much more from the product, so my expectations were a bit high in the beginning. But I do recommend SlideinAd to anyone looking to earn some extra income with their affiliate programs.
