DrDouleur's comment on Site Build It (SBI!) ...
Honest and efficient but so ugly!
I've been a member of SBI for about 3 years now.
Truth be told, I didn't work much on my web site and the results shows it...
I started to work on it a bit but was soon disappointed by their old templates and by the amateurish look you get by using their block builder software. Sure, you can upload your own HTML or CSS files but I'm not tech savvy enough to do it.
That being said, I still renew my annual fee every year!
Why?
Because, as they say themselves, SBI is not (by far!) the best tool to build a web site.
However, it's certainly one of the best ways to build a successful on-line business. The amount of information they have in their user restricted area and in their forum is worth in itself the annual fee.
You really feel the honesty pouring from every advice they give. It's the total opposite of the Get Rich Quick sites.
As for the efficiency, I've randomly found so many times SBI sites at the top of Google pages while doing mundane searches that I know for sure that their system works.
They're planning a major upgrade to their system by the end of the year that will bring SBI to the same kind of "user friendliness" that Weebly has, so I'm really impatient to see it happen.
