Elizabeth's comment on Yahoo! Web Hosting ...
This was bad hosting
I was hosted under Yahoo a few years ago and I have to say it was the worst experience I ever had. First off the Cpanel was confusing, and since I use wordpress for all my blogs, it didn't work here. I had tons of downtime, more than I wanted to have.
Another thing was customer service, it's horrible here! I never received any replies to my inquiries, and when I tried to cancel my hosting with them it was not so easy. When I was canceled they kept taking my money even though I was no longer hosted with them.
I don't recommend Yahoo Hosting to anyone, it's not easy to set up databases or use PHP scripts on this one. It was frustrating and hard enough for me.
Elizabeth's comment on BeTweeted ...
Not Worth Your Time
I tried this on my previous twitter account to see how it would work, and although I did earn a little cash, I was also bombarded with followers that spammed me back with their tweet ads. I got fed up and eventually I decided not to do this anymore.
Effective, yes, worth it, well only if you really want spammers to follow you, then by all means. Otherwise, I would not try this again.
Elizabeth's comment on Ole Bux ...
Your Typical PTC Site
I joined Ole Bux back in June of 2009, and as of now I still have not reached any sort of payout. It's too slow to earn, and not very easy to get referrals, at least not for me. I would say that this site is not one you'd make a lot of money on.
I doubt anyone could make even $20 a month on this site, since there are very very few ads to click for only 1 cent. I got bored with Ole Bux and never went back.
Would I recommend it? Only if you're extremely patient then yes, otherwise no.
Elizabeth's comment on BT Web Hosting ...
Not Recommended For Hosting
I have a friend that lives in the UK and at one point she purchased hosting for me from BT Web Hosting. She claimed it was the best, so I accepted her hosting gift. It was the worst thing ever, only because it's confusing and not very user friendly to use their service. I had so much downtime it was ridiculous, and they claim great uptime!
I eventually got frustrated and just left the site to die. My friend was upset, but so was I.
I would suggest to find a better host, there are better ones out there.
Elizabeth's comment on Whitehat Copycat ...
Another $45 Down The Drain
Don't throw away $45 dollars on this piece of information, if you can call it that. Sometimes when people make E-book's they are really putting in information that we can easily find on the web. That's exactly what this was to me, information replaced and put in an E-book and sold for profit. I learned things from this E-book that I have already been learning on my own from online experience and personal experience, and from a really cool forum I was a part of called Digital Point, that contains the same information that I found in Whitehat Copycat.
I think what drew me in was the look of the site, the professional look. But to me everything read and said was pure gibberish. Tim does not explain himself well on this one and it made me feel a bit lost.
Another $45 down the drain, wasted on yet again. I don't like that people make a buck by repeating information and claiming it's going to help everyone. Perhaps for some people this can work, but I won't recommend it. Save your money and use it for something you really need that is more useful.
Elizabeth's comment on Real Cyber Jobs ...
Waste Of Time
I'm one of these people that tries to find ways to make a little extra cash online, and I tried this product awhile back, only to realize that the real money making on this product was simply a list of survey sites that can be found online for free. $39.99 wasted. I think at the time I purchased this I really wanted to find a meaningful online job, which I am sure exists but this product didn't help me find that.
I would only recommend this if you want to waste your time, or if you know what you're doing by investing time and money, but I can tell you most of what you pay for here can be found online faster and easier.
Elizabeth's comment on Blog Paycheck ...
Not My Cup Of Coffee
I tried this product in the past, and I have to say that I was very disappointed. Although the information is useful, it's also information that is easily found online. I feel like I threw away more money with yet another E-book. I would not recommend this to everyone. It really did not do much for me, although easy to understand, most of what was in it was stuff that I already knew.
I've been blogging for years, so I do have the idea of how it works.
Perhaps it was a mistake for me to purchase this book, but if it works for you and you want to learn what it takes to be a good blogger, by all means. Just not my cup of coffee.
Elizabeth's comment on 7 Ways To Make $700 In 7 Days ...
Another Useless E-book
I was curious about this product when I saw the title of it. 7 Ways To Make $700 in 7 Days, sounds pretty catchy right? Well it was too good to be true, and a big lie. $37 dollars to purchase this e-book, and that I did. I was not very impressed. The information in this book was not only misleading, but it was useless to boot. I found the same information that was in this e-book on Google! Why pay for information that you can find for free? I lost my $37, that's money that could have been used to buy groceries, or maybe even a household item.
This product is no longer for sale, that's what I noticed when I went back to the page. I think that may be a good thing, but it looks like many people were probably taken for their money over something that was useless, even to me.
Elizabeth's comment on PTC Now ...
Why Did I Even Bother
This was one of the many places I purchased an e-book, and I have to say that this one was not only a waste of a product, but it was the most useless thing I have ever purchased. $14.95 for a book in which everything stated could have easily been figured out using common knowledge. It never helped me and although it was something that lured me in, it was also a badly put together e-book.
I wasted cash on this, but thankfully the site no longer exists.
Elizabeth's comment on PollDaddy ...
Highly Recommended!
Creating polls here is easy and free which is a good thing. I love the style and the professional look of the polls, I've used Poll Daddy before and I was impressed. The only thing that bothered me was the upgrading. To upgrade to professional or to pro the pricing is a bit steep $200 up to $899 dollars a year!
I stick with the free, because you still get a lot of great features, even though some things are limited. I'm not one to ask so many questions on a poll so no problem on the 10 question limit. I would recommend Poll Daddy to anyone. The polls really are really nice and they will make your site look really good. Highly recommended!
Elizabeth's comment on Commission Soup ...
Was Not Accepted
When I first heard about Commission Soup I thought it would be a great idea to join, and so I applied. The bad news is that I was not accepted. I don't think everyone does get accepted. This was frustrating for me, but I do have my doubts about this one. I would suggest that only those who are in business join this one, otherwise you won't be accepted. Commission Soup may work for some, but unfortunately, as it turned out, it did not work for me.
Elizabeth's comment on BestDollarClicks ...
No Bang For Your Buck
I'll be one to admit that yet again I fell for this one. In desperation to make money, I think we all fall into this trap every now and again. I joined this site in late 2009, I earned a lot of cash, I'd say about $1200, which is way past their payout.
I requested payout, but sadly to this day have not been paid, in fact my account was suspended for some reason or other.
Sometimes if something looks too good to be true it usually is. Best Dollar Clicks was a waste of time. They really should not be doing this to people, because as I have said many times they only make money for themselves.
Stay away from this site at all costs.
Elizabeth's comment on Click Fuse ...
If Only They Would Have Explained
I tried Click Fuse to advertise a small business I used to run, and it was a complete waste of my time. Not only did I not get any traffic, I also didn't get any sales.
The thing I dislike about Click Fuse is that they don't even tell you what their advertising is about, it's basically just plug and play, a blind type of plug and play.
I did notice that a lot of sites based on music get more hits with this one. So I gather that Click Fuse is better for music or at least if you have it on your site. It's really not good for a small hosting business like mine was.
If only they would have explained in their main page what they were about, but they don't.
Elizabeth's comment on Templates Box ...
Awesome Templates!
I love this site, I've had it in my favorites and from time to time when I have a website up I use the free templates, in fact I find that being a free member is more beneficial than paying. Templates are a great way to learn how to make your own, I did that with some and came up with nice ones of my own. I recommend this to anyone who wants a professional looking site, without the cost. Now as for the customer service, it's nonexistant! No one has ever actually answered any inquiries that I've had. That's the downfall. Otherwise at least you'll get a great new look for your sites.
Elizabeth's comment on Tripod Free Website Hosting ...
Tripod Is Worth It
I remember way back around the year 2000 when I started using Tripod to build my websites, back then I used tons of different free hosts, but this one was one of my favorites. The ads, well you know I did not like that part, but the rest was not too bad. The file manager was literally easy to use, so easy I think even a 3 year old could do it!
I would highly recommend Tripod, I think it's because this was one of the first places where I learned how to code my sites, and it was a fun and easy way to learn HTML and design. I may at some point go back and try this out, I may want to start a small blog, and Tripod will be my number one choice.
Elizabeth's comment on Twitter Genie ...
It's Not Worth The Money
Why pay $19 plus dollars for an ebook that is supposed to tell you the secrets of getting twitter followers and more, when one can easily figure these things out on their own? Well I'll tell you this much, I wasted money on this, after promising myself I'd never go back to Twitter, and it was the worst investment I ever made. This book did not help me, most of what was in it was stuff that I found on Google!
It didn't give me any followers, and I personally feel that this was time and money wasted. I will never invest in anything that has to do with e-books and tutorials, because to me they only waste time and money. Now I am not saying this won't work, I am sure for some it will, but for me, it's not my cup of tea.
Elizabeth's comment on Webs ...
It's Good But Has Ads
Everyone wants hosting, most of the time without ads. However that is not the case with Webs. The thing I did love about this site is it was an easier interface for me to use, the control panel was easier and it was great when I used it to first start out with making websites. I just didn't like the ads.
Webs offers small space, but enough for one to start a small personal site or blog, or even a small business. I used it for a small blog using the free templates they offer, which are not perfect, but nice enough to use.
I love the fact that when I had a problem or a question, they were answered within 2-4 hours. I also like that this type of hosting makes you feel at home. I recommend it for beginners and beyond. This host has always been a favorite, even if the ads are a bit annoying.
Elizabeth's comment on Yola ...
I Didn't Like It
I signed up for hosting at Yola recently and although a lot of people probably find it easy, for me it was too complex. I got really frustrated because I tried to add my domain to my account, and there is a tutorial included that tells you how to do this, but it did me no good. I gave up, and I'm still upset that something that is supposed to be so simple, is really not.
I think this hosting is good for people who want to start out, but for me I think it could be that I'm not used to the type of control panel they offer.
I didn't like it, but I will recommend it to those that want to try something new. If you go with Yola, I wish you the best.
Elizabeth's comment on LinkBucks ...
Too Distracting
I tried this one a year ago and all it did was not only cause annoyance to my visitors, but I lost a lot of them because of all the ads I had on my site.
As for making money, yes it works but, it's just to slow for me. I've been to sites similar and they pay a little faster, at least their earning incentives were a little more. With Linkbucks it was not the case. I was skeptical about it and to tell you the truth I never made very much from it.
I have to wonder if those claiming this site makes them thousands of dollars are not just saying that to lure others in. I don't think even now Linkbucks can make one thousands of dollars, it did not do that for me.
All in all, perhaps patience is what is needed for this one, A LOT of patience. I personally did not like Linkbucks, it was too distracting for my site visitors and for me.
Good luck to those that do try it, perhaps it will work for you.
Elizabeth's comment on FinePtc ...
Are You Serious?
I'll admit it was the attractive layout that sucked me into joining this PTC site. I knew, however, that this site was a scam. I've said this before to a lot of people, advertisers cannot afford to pay that much money for their ads to be seen. Most of the time advertisers pay less. Besides if this type of PTC site was true, we'd all be rich by now, and would probably never have to worry about money again. That's a little too good to be true.
If something seems a little too good to be true, it usually is. This site is a scam all the way. I managed to reach the $10,000 payout, but it's been 3 months and still no money in my paypal.
This site is disappointing, the reputable business ownership part is a joke! If it was so reputable, then where are all the payouts? See what I mean, I recommend you stay far far away from this one. Very far away!
Elizabeth's comment on Zero Cost Profits ...
Another $47 Down The Drain
Last year I decided to give this one a shot, and boy what a HUGE MISTAKE I made. The E-book is written more for people who are probably newer to the internet marketing business, however there are a lot of things in this book that can easily be found online for free. To me, it was a waste of time and money. Speaking of which the money back guarantee is a gimmick. I never did get my $47 dollars back.
If you are willing to waste your money on this then fine, that's your choice, but as for me, I could have used that $47 for something better.
Elizabeth's comment on Project Payday ...
Probably Not For Me
I joined Project Payday a little over a year ago thinking that it was going to help me make some extra cash, it didn't. When I saw it was free to join, I actually thought it was, but the fact that they require you to sign up for trials before you can be a member, changed the idea that it was free to join.
The other thing is, that not everyone has a credit card or debit card to use when trying out "free trials". I tried using my debit card for one of the trial offers, BIG MISTAKE, the worst part on doing trials is that once you join, it's a huge hassle to cancel the trial offer once the trial has ended.
I don't know if I would recommend this one to anyone, but if it works for you, by all means. If not, I advise you look for other ways to make extra cash.
Elizabeth's comment on Bux36.com ...
Not Worth Your Time
I joined this site a few months ago and to tell you the truth, I don't know why I bothered. There isn't very much to click and 4 ads a day is not going to reach payout. Speaking of which they keep changing the payout first it was $2 and now it's $3 and as of this moment, the site is going through yet ANOTHER CHANGE. I found this site to be frustrating, confusing and disappointing. I don't recommend this to anyone, do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.
Elizabeth's comment on Earn.bz ...
Not bad, just frustrating!
I joined this site a few months ago and I have yet to reach a payout of any kind. 1 cent per click, and there were really not enough ads to click anyway. After a month I earned about 10 cents! I knew this was a waste of my time, so I just gave up on the site altogether.
The first impression is nice, it looks promising, but to me it was like all the others out there. Also the idea of buying referrals still seems sketchy, because how do you really know they are not just automated referrals?
This site is not for everyone out there, if you want to try your luck, perhaps your experience will be better than mine was.
Elizabeth's comment on 1 Million Free Ads ...
NOT Quality Traffic
If you really think this is bringing you real people traffic, you have another thing coming. Yes you get traffic, but not quality traffic. For those like me who have a business, we expect to sell something or at least captivate interest in whoever is visiting our site.
This program is a waste, you only get hits, which is really not the same thing as getting visits to your site.
For me this was a complete waste of my time. I got hits but not visitors, and it made me frustrated because what I was hoping for turned out to be what I didn't expect.
Do yourself a favor, STAY FAR AWAY!
Elizabeth's comment on Fortune City ...
Fortune City Free Hosting
I remember starting one of my first sites on Fortune City. It was 1998 and I was still learning about websites and design, and I admit I tried a LOT of free hosts back in the day. Fortune City was perhaps my most favorite. I found the use of the file manager easy, and the pre-designs they had were fun to use. Here is where my love for web design started. I enjoyed the experience because at this time they used to have tutorials on everything, I'm sure they still do.
This is a great place for beginners who are just starting out their first websites, or even if you just want to start a simple blog. Fortune City is a great host for anyone! :)
Elizabeth's comment on SCI 6 Hour Course ...
Worthless!
A few years ago a friend and I thought it would be a great idea to purchase this expensive course, actually she purchased mine as well. So here we are talking the course and 6 hours later I'm clueless, and wondering to myself "WHAT WAS THAT?" It's a lot of information, but it's information that either does not make sense or is just sheer gibberish. I was left not only cluless, but I felt so stupid afterward.
They don't certify anything, they only take your money. They never gave a refund either. This was a huge disappointment for me and my friend.
I don't recommend this to anyone! Don't waste your money on it! You may be sorry in the end, and you'll be kicking yourself for wasting time on this course.
Elizabeth's comment on Affiliate X ...
Not For Me
I can tell you straight away that you will not make $1000 or more within a 24 hour period. That part is just the gimmick to get you to purchase this product. I decided to try it out, the good news is I got my money back, the bad news is that this was a waste of time for me. It was hard for me to get others to sign up for the products offered, and in my opinion they were not that good of products anyway.
I felt like I was just wasting time, no one seemed interested. Because of this I asked for a refund. This didn't work for me, I made no money whatsoever. I think to really make this work you have to know what you are doing.
I would only recommend this to people that have the ability and drive to make this program work for them. Otherwise, don't waste your money. There are ways to do this free.
Elizabeth's comment on PTC Sense ...
Total Waste!
The truth of the matter on this site is, THEY DON'T PAY! $1 per click and $10 per referral, not to mention the $1,000 payout. It's obviously a scam. No advertiser can afford to pay that much money.
In my experience this site was a sheer waste of my time, I reached the payout, however I was not paid. I also tried the advertising and even that did not work out the way I hoped. I wasted time and money on this site. I don't recommend it. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away!
Elizabeth's comment on Cash 4 Clicking PTC ...
Don't Go There!
I have to say that the first time I saw this site I was appalled by this site. Not only does it mislead, but it promises a payout that can never be reached! I tried this site out of sheer curiosity, and in one week I was able to make up to $75. Then I noticed something else, most of what one makes actually goes back into the site for advertising. So really, the only one who is making money is the site, is not the member.
I don't recommend this one to anyone, it's really not worth it. It's simply a HUGE waste of time. I say look, then back away!
Elizabeth's comment on Get Ref ...
Not My Cup Of Tea
I joined this site a few month back, in hopes that I'd receive referrals for 2 programs I was under at the time. The good news is I did receive referrals, the bad news is they were all what I call "bot referrals". Basically those so called referrals were worthless and a waste of my time. This program did not do what it promised.
I don't like that the referrals are not always real people, and I don't like that they do mislead you. This site may work for some people, but it sure as heck did not work for me. I don't recommend it, but the choice is up to you.
Elizabeth's comment on Freebie Force ...
Free Is Not Free!
My first impression of this site was that it was going to be free, I decided to see what it was about. The first thing that went through my mind is "Why pay for a site that offers things for free?" I decided to find out.
I paid the membership fee, and once I had a chance to look into the site I hardly found anything. The free coupons and items were all basically things that one could easily find on sites that do offer free stuff!
I did not like the trial offers because you still have to pay. Why pay to get something that is advertised as "free"? This was a waste of my time and cash. No, I did not get any type of refund either!
The thing to remember here is that free is NOT free! Especially if a site states that you have to pay for membership. Look away from this one.
Elizabeth's comment on One Hour Google ...
Don't Bother With This One!
One Hour Google turned into 3 weeks of nonsense! I spent $47 trying to make something out of it and all I got was gibberish. I say gibberish because the instructions for this program leave you going "huh?" That's how I felt and that was what resulted for me, I was confused. I requested a refund, and received it 2 weeks later!
I don't recommend this program, I'd suggest to overlook it and keep walking. There are better programs out there that can get you hits, and help you make cash. One Hour Google did not do it for me. The only good thing is the refunds. What I didn't like is the waste of time this site gives you, $47 for nothing.
Elizabeth's comment on LuckySurf ...
Go Ahead Waste Time
I don't know about Lucky Surf. I joined this site a year ago and to this day it's done nothing for me. To win on this site is the luck of the draw.
I wasted tons of time on this site trying to play and win, my numbers never came through, and I soon became very frustrated, all which resulted in me losing interest quickly.
I would not recommend this site to people who are looking for a way to earn some serious cash, but if you are someone who really believes in this site then go ahead, waste time.
I don't like anything about this site at all, I'm sorry to say. I think maybe the only thing I did like that drew me in was the layout and that something that screams out "PICK ME!" That's about it.
Elizabeth's comment on Giga-Mails ...
No Way No How!
This is another one of those sites that offers big money and promises you the world. If it was real don't you think we all would be rich by now? Think about it!
In my personal experience I only joined this site because of an online friend who was begging and pleading for me to join. In June of 2008 I joined this site, and within a month I reached payout, however, they didn't pay. I knew they wouldn't, but there is always that "what if" thought that crosses the mind. I wasted time.
I don't appreciate false advertising and that's exactly what this site is doing! $25 to $100 per email?! NO ADVERTISERS CAN AFFORD TO PAY THAT MUCH! It's a proven fact! That's what I don't like about this site.
Don't go near this site, STAY AWAY! You will only waste time. I wish I hadn't tried it.
Elizabeth's comment on SendEarnings ...
Never reached the payout
I've been a member of SendEarnings for over 4 years and to this day I still only have $5.09 cents! I found it difficult to reach the payout because many of the offers do require a credit card, even the "FREE" trial offers. To me it's simply not worth it.
My time here was ok at first and even fun, but it's been hard to reach any payout, especially for me.
I like that the atmosphere of the site is welcoming, and it is, this is what made me want to be a member of SendEarnings.
For some it will work and for others it won't. If you don't mind waiting a few years, then by all means join this one. Perhaps you will have better luck.
Elizabeth's comment on Yuwie ...
Fun for awhile... but not my cup of coffee
Yuwie was very popular when it first came out, there were ads all over when they first launched in October of 2007. I decided to give it a try.
In late October 2007 I joined this site, I felt that networking would be fun and joining groups of interest would be even better. Yes, even making money seemed easy. I enjoyed this site for about 6 months, but never once reached the payout level which was $10 at the time. I made $1.25 in six months, I told myself if it takes that long to make a buck then it will take ages to make $10. Networking got less and less, and then everything seemed inactive. So I stopped going to this site. I don't miss it. I do miss the networking though.
I like that they are a network and they allow you to make groups of interest, and now they lowered the payout, so that's great! However, I was just not as into this site after awhile.
I'll recommend it for some people, it may work out for you, but for me, it's not my cup of coffee.
Elizabeth's comment on Bux Service ...
Yet another bux site... that's useless
What a nice professional looking layout this site has. It makes you want to join. So I did, awhile back. This is what happened.
I reached my payout minimum which was about $3 or so. I never got paid and 4 months later I'm still waiting for payout. I don't recommend this one.
I don't like this site because they promise payout within 48 hours, which they don't do. I do like that the forum is active, at least something is going on with this site.
No, I don't recommend this bux site to anyone. Of course if you want to try it, by all means do so, but don't expect payout.
Elizabeth's comment on QualityBux ...
Watch out for this one!
I was a member of this site earlier this year and I am sad to report that in my personal experience, it did not pan out for me.
I was 1 cent away from the payout minimum $4.99 and I was happy because all I needed was one more click on an ad. THEN, the unthinkable, yet not surprising happened, my account was suspended!
For what, I don't know, but all that time clicking got me nowhere. ONE click away! I was upset, very upset! I emailed the admin and he assured me that I was cheating on my account! That really upset me. I did nothing wrong, I clicked the ads and waited for credit, then that happened.
I don't like this site, like I've said before anything with the word bux makes me skeptical. There are only very FEW bux sites that do pay, this one is not going to last.
My advice is if you think this will work for you then go for it, but otherwise, it may be best to stay away.
Elizabeth's comment on LinkGrand ...
Great For Advertising!
I tried this one out about 5 years ago or so, and I paid $5 for 1000 hits to a paying program I was under at that time. Well, let me tell you this much it worked!
My results, I gained about 28 referrals and made money from the paying program I was under. So I can assure you this will work for advertising not just a referral link but for advertising your business as well. I also did this with one of my old hosting businesses and it worked! I gained customers, PAYING customers!
What I like about Link Grand, is that they do what they say. I've experienced it and I recommend it to everyone!
Elizabeth's comment on 10Bux.net ...
There goes another one!
Lately anything that has the word bux in it has me feeling uneasy and skeptical about joining any site with the word bux.
Bux10 is no different, at least in my experience it wasn't. I joined last October and decided to give it a try. 1 cent per click and a $10 payout, sounds easy enough, and fair. I reached the payout alone by January of this year, and then requested payout. Since that time, no payout. Of course I wasn't happy! When I went back to check my status recently, my account was no longer available.
I don't like this site for the reason that it promises to do something and right when it's supposed to happen they scam you. Again, another site making money for only themselves.
Perhaps this site works for some people, but it failed to work for me, just as other bux sites out there. My advice to you is to stay away!
Elizabeth's comment on Surf Junky ...
It Looked Promising, But Isn't
I joined this site through a friend who was claiming up and down that they pay and that she had already received 2 payouts from them. Of course later I found out that it was all a lie.
My time here resulted in reaching a total of $40 and not ever being paid for it. I waited a month an a half, and still no payout. I emailed, and no one replied back. I then found out that my friend never got paid at all. I wasted my time with this one.
I like the layout, it's pretty and makes the site seem promising and legit, almost a welcoming professional feeling. Unfortunately, that's not the case when you join this program.
I don't like that they promise big and don't deliver.
I recommend you stay back, as tempting as it looks, stay far back!
Elizabeth's comment on PTC Wallet ...
No way no how!
Ten cents per click, $1 per referral, and $100 payout? Sound too good to be true? That's because it is too good to be true! It's also good not to try this out.
In my experience once I joined this site back in May, I fully expected it to work for me, but by the middle of this month I still never received my payment of $134. The reason being that they canceled my account 5 days after requesting payout!
I don't like this site, what I thought was legit was nothing but a scam! Do yourself a favor and turn back! I don't recommend this site to anyone.
Elizabeth's comment on Bux3 ...
No Bux For Me!
Now when I first came across this one, it looked very promising, 1 cent ads, and a $10 payout, I really thought that Bux3 was legit.
I was a member for a year and a half, since that's about how long it took to reach the $10 payout. Once I did reach it, not only did I not get paid, but my account was canceled!
I don't like anything about Bux3, I don't even like that they are still around. I'm amazed they haven't been shut down yet.
Do yourself a favor and don't go near this site, stay back! Your time will be wasted, and you won't gain anything from this one.
Elizabeth's comment on Instant PTR ...
Don't go there
I did join this one as well awhile back, and I'm sad to say that this one is also another time waster. It's true that sometimes, curiosity kills the cat.
My experience here was not so good for me. I joined and thinking that I'd receive payout when it came time to cashout was a mistake. I managed to reach payout pretty fast, but, when it came time to cashout I never received it. I emailed to find out what the deal was and not one reply was received! I was not only upset, but I was cheated.
I only like the layout, it's professional, and it makes the site seem legitimate. I don't like that this site is still around. Whatever you do, please don't go there!
Elizabeth's comment on Banko mails ...
It's A Scam!
STOP! Don't even try this one. This one is another one of those sites that promises high pay, and all it is is a HUGE waste of time!
In my experience I KNEW that this was not going to pay, but the curiosity bug hit again and said "Try it! C'mon!", so I did. I not only reached payout, but I never got paid! Once I reached payout, the payout button vanished, never to be seen again. I emailed and asked what happened, and there was no reply to be had. So of course I knew that I wasted precious time.
I don't like anything about this site, it's useless and all they are doing is making money for themselves, not for the person who signs up to their program.
Do yourself a favor and look away! Remember, no one can afford to pay that much money for advertising their site. If that was the case, we'd all be rich just by joining sites like this online, however, that's not how it works.
Elizabeth's comment on NoMinCashout ...
Don't Go There!
I remember the first time this site launched, and it was one of my favorites. WAS, that was until it all started going downhill. When I say downhill, I mean downhill.
My experience, the first time I joined my first payout came to 55 cents, and my second payout came out to $1. I thought this was the best site, that was until I started to refer others. I had about 10 referrals and they all clicked, and with me and their help I made over $57! I was thrilled! I cashed out and since then never received my payout.
I didn't like that when you click the payment proof and forum link they take you to another site, this happened soon after I requested payout. I KNEW I would never get that money. You won't either if you join this site, which I highly recommend that you don't go there!
The only thing I liked was the professional outlook of the site, that's all, the layout is nice.
I'd really like to know why they went from good to bad, and why they are still around to scam people.
Elizabeth's comment on ChaCha ...
Good For Some But Not For Me
Cha Cha is perhaps one of the sites that will work for some people, not all.
I tried to get in as a guide and I took the pretest and everything came out well. However, I have yet to be hired. I've been trying for 7 months and still no luck.
Sometimes they hire and sometimes they don't, but even when they were they just never asked me to work with them. I'm not saying they don't hire, but I am saying not everyone will get in right off. I don't like waiting, and I admit it's frustrating.
I do like the outlook of the site and the welcoming atmosphere it gives out. It screams friendly. Now if only they'd hire me.
I'll recommend this to anyone that wants to try it out, but I warn you, it will be a long waiting process to get hired here.
Elizabeth's comment on TheClickers.net ...
Too Slow To Earn
This site is one of the slow earners, that is if you are doing it alone. I joined this one a year ago, and it took that amount of time, alone, to reach the payout of $5.50.
The result in this one was I did reach payout within a year with 5 referrals, however they did not pay me until 4 months later. That's a year and 4 months!
At least payout was made, however I don't like that it takes so long to reach payout. I don't recommend this one, because although they do pay and you do earn, it's going to take forever in a day to get paid.
My impression of this one was a bit iffy, but I tried it anyway. If it works for you great, if not, then try something else.
Elizabeth's comment on From Home Data Entry ...
A Scam Indeed
I tried this site, just for the sake of the free trial and perhaps to also see if it was worth the effort. Basically, it's a waste of time, it's easier to review a site as a whole than it is on a form.
I don't like feeling like I'm going to be cheated, and I don't like that the site has a great big sign that says 100% Scam Free. I also don't like the testimonials, they are all supposedly different people yet all of them got paid the same exact amount, which I find hard to believe, especially on a site like this.
My time here resulted in time wasted and the feeling of being scammed and laughed at for being so foolish.
I'd like to know why should one have to pay to make money? One should never have to pay to make money, on any site! That's just the way I see it.
Do yourself a huge favor and don't fall for this one.
Elizabeth's comment on Histats ...
Very Good Service
I currently use Hitstats counter on my website. I like Hitstats because they are accurate, and I also love the design choices on what type of counter you want to place on your site.
So far this works well, I can log in and view my site stats and info on who was there and where they came from. If you use Hitstats on your site, the results will surprise you as they did me. I got so much information on my visitors and where they came from.
There isn't anything I don't like about this site. After all, it's a free to use service, and perhaps the only one that I'd recommend. Give this a try!
Elizabeth's comment on 1CentEmails ...
Don't Even Try It
I joined this one because of the 1 cent clicks and the $10 payout. I wish I had known that it was all a scam.
The results with this one were a lot of time clicking, and eventually reaching payout, however I was never paid. I waited 2 months and no payout, even after contacting the owners.
I don't like that this site seems almost legitimate, but that it gives off a very strange vibe.
I won't recommend this one at all, I say don't even try it! It really isn't worth the time or effort.
Elizabeth's comment on LinkReferral ...
Worked for me!
I was about to rejoin this one. I tried this service out a few years ago, about 2, and I have to say that they know what they are doing!
Results in all this included not only referrals to a program I was under but they were REAL PEOPLE! It was worth it at that time.
I like this site, I like that they work and that it's so easy. I like that this did not waste my time either. There isn't anything that I don't like about this one. Give it a try!
I highly recommend this place if you are looking for referrals or people for your business, or real site visitors that are not automatic.
Elizabeth's comment on YouData ...
Every little bit helps
I've been a member of youdata for about a month now, and I have to say that I'm impressed. My first week I made $1.15 and at the end I was paid in my paypal account. I consider that to be a great result.
Here you will earn depending on the available ads. Sometimes there are no ads, but don't let that frustrate you, because once there are, and you earn, you get paid that money at the end of the week!
I like that this site is not one to send you emails or spam you, this one is as simple as it looks. You also earn $1 for everyone you refer, as long as they also participate.
There is nothing that I don't like about this one. To me it's a worthy site. Very legitimate, no tricks.
I recommend this to anyone go ahead and try it. You may not get rich quick, but every bit helps.
Elizabeth's comment on TrafficSwarm ...
I Like This One
This one is one of the few traffic exchanges out there that is one of the better ones. I was a member of this exchange 4 years ago and it did wonders!
My results ended up in not only receiving real quality visitors, but also interested people who were interested in my site at that time.
I like this one, it's easy and it's not to hard to use the system. Yes, you have to visit other sites, but that's the point, real people visiting real people. There is nothing that I don't like about this one.
I'd recommend Traffic Swarm to everyone, especially newbies! You will like this one.
Elizabeth's comment on American Consumer Opinion ...
Never Got A Survey
I joined this site 2 years ago and was a member for over a year, but during that time everything resulted in waiting for a survey and I never got one. NOT ONE!
I like that the site has a professional look and that they are legitimate, however I don't feel this site is for everyone. I didn't like that I was a member for so long and never once received a survey.
I would have wanted to know why some people get surveys and others don't. I do feel I wasted time, a LOT of time. If this works for some people then great! As for me, not so much.
Elizabeth's comment on Jills Click Corner ...
Click This Jill!
Another wasteful moment for me in the land of paid to click. I was a member of Jill's Click Corner about a year ago. What drew me in was the payout. I figured $1 can't be that hard to earn. Boy, was I wrong!
This one is perhaps a very slow earning site. Alone it took 5 months just to make $1! That's a pretty long time to click, just for a buck.
All this clicking resulting in yet, more time wasted and NO PAYOUT! My account was marked cheater! I've even heard about other accounts being marked similar. I contacted Jill's Click Corner, and they replied with "someone signed up with your IP and you are not allowed double accounts. " I know for sure I only signed up once and the only one who uses my laptop is me.
I did not like that I was accused of cheating this site, that was uncalled for. I also don't like the time wasted just to earn $1.
If you get paid and all works well for you on this site, then I praise you, but for me, it didn't work out so well.
Elizabeth's comment on Survey Savvy ...
Not So Savvy
It's one thing to get paid for a survey and it's another thing to actually be qualified to take the survey. I never understood why one has to qualify for a survey.
So I joined Survey Savvy back in 2007, and I figured that they would be a good money maker site. I even managed to get others to sign up under me, but to no avail did I ever qualify for one survey, even my referrals never seemed to qualify.
All this resulted in me not only NOT qualifying for a survey but also wasting my time with this. I only joined because the site gave me the impression that it was promising, sadly it was not that way at all.
This site may be savvy for some, but it was not savvy for me! I regret ever having wasted my time. I won't tell you not to join this site, but I will tell you that you may not always, if at all, qualify for a survey.
Elizabeth's comment on Hellish Dollars ...
Hellish Dollars Indeed
I knew this was another too good to be true sites. But me being me and thinking that maybe, JUST MAYBE, it would pay, joined. What a HUGE mistake this was on my part.
It looked legitimate, but those super high numbers made me wonder. If those numbers make you wonder then it's probably not a good idea to join, but curiosity will get the best of you.
My results, I reached their payout pretty fast, it took only a month to do so. $2000 is a lot of money. Unfortunately it's money I never got paid. This is money you will never get paid either.
I don't like how this site seems to somehow lure one into thinking they are legit. I also don't like that they scam and lie, like most other sites that claim to pay high for reading emails or clicking.
I'd like to know why this site is still even functioning, and why they are fooling people like this.
Do yourself a favor, STAY AWAY! Remember that sites like this are only out for themselves.
Elizabeth's comment on Big Money PTC ...
Big Money Scammers
Oh yes, I too was one of the ones that thought this one would pay, I gather it was the professional look of the site. I joined a few months back and then I canceled my account. Here's why.
My first impression of this site was "Now this one looks promising, and the setup is really well laid out." I was even impressed with the payment proof list. I really thought it was real.
Then I joined, and I clicked, and my results after about 2 or so months was I reached a little over $1000! I did NOT get paid however, and even after spending 3 weeks trying to reach the webmaster about payment, I never got one reply back. I canceled my account, I knew it was too good to be true.
The thing to remember is one can only pay an advertiser so much to advertise, no one pays THAT MUCH to advertise. I wish I would have known it was a scam, it was in the back of my mind but, yeah, I fell for this one.
Don't join this site, it's a waste of time and effort.
Elizabeth's comment on Isabel Marco's Money Maker ...
You May Not Get Paid At All
I joined this site a year ago, thinking it would be a good moneymaker. Although I was not looking for a get rich quick type of thing, I just wanted to see if this site worked.
Upon joining I noticed the site was not too well put together. I saw more ads than I wanted to see, and I didn't like that very much. Something about all those ads made me wonder if they were legit.
I joined as a free member and decided to upgrade to premium for only $9, at least at that time it was only $9 to upgrade to premium. I clicked and I earned but to tell you the truth, I wish I had never upgraded.
My results, I earned over $47! I was NEVER PAID! Even after contacting the owner for my payout, she never responded. I felt cheated, and the way I see it this site seems like they are more out for earning money for themselves, instead of paying others like they promise. You may not get paid at all, and I don't recommend this site to anyone.
Elizabeth's comment on Revisitors ...
Divert Yourself Elsewhere
I used this service to drive traffic to my webhosting business. I paid $19.95 for the 2500 visitors, if you call them that. Most of those "visitors" and "traffic" were nothing but robots. I say this because no one purchased anything from me, which led me to believe it was all automatic.
All this resulted in what I call automated visitors. Yes the traffic was there, but, I never made any sales. It was frustrating for me, because I paid for something that I was hoping would boost my sales, and in return got nothing.
I wish I would have known that the traffic was not real traffic, and I wish I would have known that this was going to be a waste of my money, but at that time I was so excited that I fell for the gimmick.
Don't waste your cash on this, use your money for better things! My advice, is simply keep away from this one.
Elizabeth's comment on Retweet4.me ...
Not Worth It
When I had twitter I tried this one out, and it really didn't do anything for me. The good thing is you do gain followers, but the bad thing, and this is what I DID NOT like, is that many of those followers are spammers.
They are basically people who spam others with useless information. In my experience and results, this was what happened to me. I was spammed, and I got tired of it, another reason why I don't have a twitter account anymore.
I wish I would have been aware that many of the followers were people who don't show interest in what we have to say, of course programs such as these, never tell you that.
Don't waste your time! You may get followers, but it won't be what you expected.
Elizabeth's comment on Hits2u ...
It's Worthless
You don't get any hits on this one. I joined this site awhile back thinking that I would get hits and that people would visit my site. Well it was mostly a lie on their part. I did not get any hits, at all! That reason was because I did not upgrade or refer others. It was basically, for me a week of nothing.
I would have wanted to know that this was only a 7 day trial period, and nowhere did I find that on the site!
Obviously my results were no hits to me! A waste of my time is what it was. This is why I don't like traffic sites that much.
Elizabeth's comment on Instant Banner Creator ...
Great For Beginners
This service is pretty good. I used this awhile back to create a banner for a website. I like the way one can make some pretty professional looking banners and flash templates. I also like that this banner creator is very easy to use.
My banners resulted in a look that was both professional and clean. I would recommend this banner creator to anyone who wants that professional site look without having to hire a designer.
Elizabeth's comment on WordLinx ...
Not Even Worth It
I remember being a member of Wordlinx, and at first I thought it was a place where one could make money quickly. I read so much about it online and it seemed like a golden opportunity, that was, until I signed up.
There were hardly any links to click. In the month that I was a member I clicked only 5 ads! I almost wanted to refer others, but then I saw what a waste of time it was for me. A $10 dollar payout on that site could take a year probably. I didn't like that they had very few ads to click.
All this resulted in earning nothing but pennies, I remember canceling my account with only 7 cents in it! I don't recommend Wordlinx, it will take AGES to reach payout.
Elizabeth's comment on NameCheap ...
The BEST Place To Register A Domain
How ironic, I just ordered a domain from namecheap today and it's the FIRST TIME I use their service. I have to say it went well!
I really like how easy, and simple it is to use their service. I signed up for an account, then I added funds from my paypal to purchase my domain of choice, and all this within 5 minutes!
My results, I have a new domain! They gave me whoisguard FREE for one year! Plus I am very satisfied with how fast this went. I recommend namecheap to EVERYONE! You will NOT be disappointed!
I like namecheap, this is going to be the main place I purchase my domains from now on.
Elizabeth's comment on Treasure Trooper ...
I LOVE This Site!
It's been awhile, but I was a member of Treasure Trooper back in 2006 and I have to say I HIGHLY recommend this site to anyone.
For me the best part was the trading hut where you could trade your coins for prizes. They also pay out on time, and the other thing is the offers are almost always free. That's what I liked about this site.
As for what I would have wanted to know, everything I wanted to know was already on the main page and in the FAQ's.
My results, I never had to use a credit card once while I was a member, and I got paid TWICE! I can honestly say this site will not disappoint!
Elizabeth's comment on TrafficHoopla ...
It's Not Bad But Not Good
Traffic Hoopla to me is simply a bunch of hoopla. I say this because I really don't like that you are REQUIRED to refer others in order to gain traffic for your site. It's hard enough to find people who are interested, and then if you do, THEY have to refer others as well.
The good thing about Traffic Hoopla that I did like, is that they do not require you to pay for anything, so to me that may be the upside of it all.
It does take time to gain traffic, but it's also too much trouble at the same time, because or referring others, and having to join other exchanges JUST to get traffic to your site. I will advise you, to be sure you know of interested people who would like to sign up under you to help you gain the traffic you want. Otherwise, don't bother.
My results were not so hot, so for me, this one did not work out.
Elizabeth's comment on Traffic Splash ...
Not For Everyone
Traffic Splash promises "floods of traffic" of course you have to work for it,
by that I mean surf other sites and with their 3:1 surf ratio that means you'd
need to surf 3 sites in order to get 1 view to yours, so the 1:1 ratio does not
work unless you pay for membership.
Like I've said before there are many traffic exchanges that allow you the 1:1 surf ratio for free. I really would have liked to know what their surf ratio was, but of course that was not on the main page. I don't like that all you see is the awards this site has won. I understand showing off, but to me it seems like they are leading one on into thinking that they ARE the best traffic site, which maybe to some, they are but not to me. I did like the cute dolphin on the layout though.
I did not get very good results and I was not about to spend more money to upgrade my account for that matter. I'm not saying this site is bad, all I am saying is that it won't work for everyone, and that there are better ones out there.
Elizabeth's comment on 20 Ways To Make $100 Per Day Online ...
Another Waste Of Cash
This one is another one of those sites that promises you things that perhaps can easily be found on the internet. The way I see it, this book is just like a list of ideas put together, and then sold to those that find it interesting. What got me was the title, of COURSE I'd want to make over $100 a day.
I did purchase the e-book and I was not convinced, although the ideas are good, they are nothing that one cannot figure out on their own.
I just didn't like that, in order to get ideas a book has to be purchased. There went another $27 bucks down the toilet. All this resulted in no results, this site does not deliver what they promise. I don't recommend it!
Elizabeth's comment on Project Wonderful ...
Project Wonderful Is Pretty Good
I used this service on a previous domain I used to own. For awhile it was going well, I was able to make some cash from this site. This made me feel pretty satisfied with the service.
I did get paid TWICE and I did receive some quality visitors to my site, those were the results of my experience with Project Wonderful.
I really like that they allow you to be the one to decide how much ad space you are willing to place on your blog, and they even allow you to decide the minimum bid on an ad.
I recommend this site to anyone, although there are sites that pay higher, this one is good to start with. It will give you an idea of how advertising and publishing really works.
Elizabeth's comment on Maxbounty ...
You Have To Be Patient
Maxbounty has been around for awhile, and I remember 4 years ago when I submitted one of my sites, but what I didn't like is that it was hardly ever approved by the advertisers.
Perhaps at that time I did not have what they were looking for, but it resulted in frustration for me, because I really wanted to be able to not only earn, but to be able to help the advertisers get their ads seen.
I will admit that I did not like the fact that a site will not always be approved by the advertiser.
It's a great site, BUT, the rules are a bit strict and you will fall into some frustration. I would advise to keep trying, which is what I should have done, but 4 years ago, I just didn't have the patience.
Elizabeth's comment on Pay Per Post ...
Change Is Good
When I first joined pay per post, it was 2 years ago. At that time in order for a blog to be approved it had to be over 3 months old. I tried twice to submit my blog and got rejected twice.
This was very frustrating for me, so I tried again, and it got accepted, but during that time I did not receive any offers. I decided to just give up on them, because for me things resulted in no opportunities.
Now that I see there is a new version and that they allow blogs right away it's something that I may consider looking into again.
I like that now they allow the submission of blogs, and that offers are available right off.
Two years ago, they didn't do that, and I did not like that very much.
Change is good, and it looks like pay per post has indeed changed. I would probably recommend it now, but not back then.
Elizabeth's comment on Site Rush ...
Not Really Worth The Time
Site Rush is yet another one of those sites that has "hidden secrets" on how to make a fortune online. In fact I was not that impressed with it. Now did I buy the system? Yes, I did and it was a huge waste of $77! I could have used that money for better purposes.
What I don't like about this is that all those "secrets of success" are already things that one can easily find online. I felt bad later on because of the money put into something that was simply not worth it.
The truth of the matter is that the only ones who make money are the ones advertising, which in this case would be Site Rush.
The only results out of this entire system was I wasted my money on something that I really didn't have to. But like many, I got curious. I don't recommend this system to anyone. I am sorry to say that it's worthless, at least to me.
Elizabeth's comment on Entrecard ...
Not My Cup Of Tea
I used the Entrecard widget in one of my blogs, in hopes of getting
traffic to my site, which I did get, but it was not quality traffic. What I mean by that is there were not really many people if at all who were interested in what I had to say. What I don't like about Entrecard is that it seems that people are only interested in just dropping EC's after EC's. I personally feel that although traffic is gained by dropping the EC card, that people should also be interested in the sites they are "dropping by" at. Also you have to be prepared to spend a lot of time trying to gain traffic, that may not be the traffic you hope to receive. Wish I would have known that all people seem to do to use this service is "drop and go".
My results, I got traffic but not the kind that was truly interested in my site, if at all!
I don't find this to be very fair for those of us who are looking for quality visitors and traffic. However, if you have the time to waste and you feel you can make this one work for you, then by all means, but for me, it's not my cup of tea.
Elizabeth's comment on DreamHost ...
Be Ready For Downtime
I had a site hosted by Dreamhost, and as far as I'm concerned, let me just say that the customer service is fantastic! Everyone that works at Dreamhost seems to really want to ensure that their clients are comfortable and happy. However, with that being said, I was unfortunately not so comfortable. Dreamhost has you pay for one year's worth of hosting, which for me at that time was a little over $100 dollars.
For awhile the service went well, then the downtime happened. Constant downtime and countless messages to their customer service had me going in circles. I wanted out.
The thing I did not like about Dreamhost was that you have to be committed to that entire year of hosting, regardless of downtime. Also having to keep sending messages to their customer service was getting to be a bit too much.
My experience with this host at first was going fine, but after only one month things resulted in constant downtime. I would have wanted to know that once you pay for a year that you are committed to that time, and I would have also liked to have known that there may be some downtime. Then again, what host will actually tell you that there will be some downtime? Not many, that's for sure. Now if you want to go with this host, then by all means do so. Perhaps your experience will be better than mine was 4 years ago.
Elizabeth's comment on Kontera ...
Annoying and Lame
Like most people, I also joined Kontera to possibly gain some cash and even hits to my blog. After a few weeks, however, my visitors started to get annoyed with the double green lines under various words in my blog. Even I got annoyed after awhile.
The thing I did not like about Kontera is that you are required to make $5 a month or forfeit your earnings. To me that was very unfair. I would have liked to know, how much one made per click, which is 1 cent!
I find it impossible to make $5 a month with only a 1 cent click per person, that is IF they want to click.
All this, for me, resulted in having to constantly forfeit the cash I was already making, which really, was only a few cents. It was not worth it for me. I stopped using the service soon after. I don't recommend this to anyone unless you have a good deal of site traffic and people who are interested in such ads.
Elizabeth's comment on Blogsvertise ...
Don't Waste Your Time
I submitted a blog back in 2007 to this site, and it got accepted right away. I was thrilled because I had the idea in my mind that I was going to receive a lot of assignments to write about. How more WRONG could I have been! From 2007 to about mid 2008 I only received ONE assignment, that had nothing to do with my blog whatsoever, but I did it anyway since it was a $5 assignment. The results? I never got paid at all! They kept delaying my payment. To top it off they don't allow you to delete your blog, and that is something I DID NOT LIKE at all about this place.
I don't know how some people make money off this site, but unfortunately for me, it did not pan out accordingly.
Elizabeth's comment on No-Minimum ...
One Dollar In Four Months!
What attracted me to this site was the no minimum title. With just that title alone I was led to believe that there was no minimum payout, of course then I read that minimum payout is $1, which almost made me turn away from the site, but I decided to give it a chance.
I really didn't like that even if you read emails or surf sites that one could only really make about 2 cents a day. At least for me, my results on working the site alone, took me 3 and a half months to reach the $1 minimum payout. Then it still took them another month to send payment. 4 months of work to earn JUST $1! If you join this site, I would highly recommend you have referrals or friends who are interested in joining under you and so on, this would make earning faster.
Elizabeth's comment on 000WebHost ...
One Of The Best!
I hosted one of my personal sites at this host and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I had, especially for a free host. Everything that I would have wanted to know was already stated in the features section of the site.
What I liked about 000WebHost is that they had very, if any, little downtime. If there were issues, most of my inquiries were answered right away. That's what I liked most about this host.
My results or perhaps in other words, my experience with this host, was probably one of the best experiences. I would recommend this host. You will not be disappointed.
Elizabeth's comment on Smiley Traffic ...
Not So Smiley Traffic
When I first came to this site I saw it as just another traffic exchange with a few loose ends. Of course not ALL traffic exchanges are like this, so I thought I'd give Smiley Traffic a go. It was a big HUGE mistake, at least on my part.
It would have been nice to know that it would take over 100,000 sites to surf before reaching the $20 payout. I found this to be a waste of time, I mean who has time to surf THAT MANY sites? I know I don't.
What I did like about this site, well I'm again sorry to say that there was really nothing about this traffic exchange that I can say that I liked, if at all. What I did not like is that they charge you $5 when you reach payout in order for you to cash out. Also the surf ratio for free members 5:2, with that type of surf ratio I knew my site would not be seen.
My results, I did not receive the much wanted traffic to my site that I hoped this traffic exchange would deliver. I also never got paid!
Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this one. You will disappoint yourself.
Elizabeth's comment on TopSurfer ...
Top Surfer is pretty lame
For starters what I would have wanted to know was that in order for my account to be active, I'd have to surf 20 sites. What drew me into this site was the free membership and the free 100 credits, and me being a gamer type, I also was intrigued by the idea of playing games and surfing.
Now what I did not like about this site was that in order to have an "active" account, you are required to surf 20 sites. I also did not like that the only place to assign credits for traffic are to the auto surf bar. As for the games, they are mostly automatic, so you are not actually playing them, but the computer is playing them for you.
As for what I did like about this site, I'll be honest here, NOTHING! I was not really impressed at all and I never got any traffic to my site! I still have my site with them, but I am not about to purchase credits for $20 or more. I could use my money for better things.
My results were that I did not receive any type of traffic to my site.
Elizabeth's comment on Hits4Pay ...
Hits For Pay is Just OK
I was a member of Hits For Pay for about 6 months. What I would have wanted to know about this site is that one is required to fill out a W-9 Tax form to cash out.
What I did like about Hits For Pay is that they sent out a lot of emails, and most worth 2 cents, I thought that with that much per email I could hit the $25 payout. I also liked that they set you up with a $10 sign up bonus.
What I didn't like about it was the fact that you are not allowed to cash out unless you fill out the W-9 Tax form. I did not like this at all because I don't feel very much comfort in giving information on myself online that includes my social security number. It's not that safe online to do so.
My results for this site were as follows. I managed to reach payout, but of course I never got it because I did not fill out the tax form. I feel one should not have to be required to fill out a tax form, unless the money that is being made is more than that of which is paid out.
I will only recommend this site if you are comfortable giving out your information, and if you can really make the payout process work for you. Otherwise, it may be best to keep away for this place.
Elizabeth's comment on US Free ads ...
This One Is a Good One!
I used this service for a site I used to own to gain traffic and interest. As a free member, I have to say that this was well worth it! I received at least 20 new visits a day to my site! Not bad considering that it's free! I loved that about this site; it delivered! I would recommend this to anyone.
I now wish I had decided to upgrade the membership, but at the time I did not have the money to do so. If you use this service, I do recommend and upgrade, I am sure you won't regret it.
I am sure my results could have been better, had I decided to upgrade. I highly recommend this one.
Elizabeth's comment on 1800Banners ...
Not Worth A Dime
The thing about this site is that traffic does not come easily, but it does allow the advertiser's site to be clicked on and viewed properly, unlike other surf sites. I used this service for my business and decided to do revenue share, where they would give me banner credits and I'd get paid.
My results on this entire program was that I did not get paid and never actually received any banner credits. Technically my site was floating around somewhere. It DID drive traffic to my site, but not enough to where I could make a sale. I felt cheated and very disappointed.
For some this service may work. For others, I would recommend not even trying it out.
Elizabeth's comment on OpinionBar ...
A Good Survey Site
I was a member of Opinionbar back in 2000. The surveys they sent are worth $2 and with a payout of only $10, it's not to hard to reach. I received 2 payouts from this site and both reached within a month. So that, I liked. However after awhile the surveys became less, and the earnings became a little more difficult to reach.
The site is laid out pretty well, and everything is easy to understand. I love that the site also allows you to view surveys that you have already taken. It is a great site for steady earning. I truly have no complaints about this one.
Elizabeth's comment on Vinefire ...
Best For Advertising ONLY!
I joined Vinefire in April of this year. I heard about all the hype and hoopla about this site from a family member. They said that this site could literally change my life, and that soon enough I could be making hundreds a day! I read about it and I thought to myself "Why not?!" So I joined up. Soon I started to see how fast the money was building. I loved how easy it was, however, once I reached $500 I had this feeling that something was not right, so I decided to read their
terms, which I SHOULD HAVE DONE at the beginning.
Lo and behold I found the answer, they were in beta mode, and NOT paying anyone, yet! I decided right then I was not going to take any part in this site anymore. Not just because they didn't pay but because it seems ridiculous that one makes THAT much money in such a short time, and expects to get paid, only to be told that it won't happen for months!
Vinefire is probably best for advertising. I will admit that advertising on this site DID pay off for me, and my then hosting company. As for making money, I doubt that I will ever see that $500. I truly did not like this service, but for advertising your own sites, it's not so bad.
Elizabeth's comment on Survey Monkey ...
Survey Monkey Is Worth Using!
I used to use Survey Monkey a few years ago on a personal site I used to own. The purpose of my use for Survey Monkey was this: I wanted to see what my visitors thought about my site, what could be changed and so forth. It worked out great for me! My visitors were satisfied and even they wanted to know where they could make similar surveys.
I have no complaints about this service at all! I would recommend it to anyone who wants to know what people think of their sites or services.
Elizabeth's comment on memolink ...
It's Not Worth It
I was a member of Memolink about 2 years ago, and never managed to reach payout. I wish they would have somehow let people know that reaching payout would take a bit of time. Of course they won't tell anyone that. At first, I loved this site and I was pretty sure I could reach the 19,000 plus points in order to cashout. I left the site at 1,400 points. I realized if it took me over 2 years to reach that amount, that it would probably take a lifetime to reach payout. So as for my results, it took 2 years to reach 1,400 points, which really isn't worth it. There are far better point sites out there that one can earn faster.
Don't waste your time on this site. Unless you are an avid online shopper that can afford to purchase the things one is required to do, then go for it!
Elizabeth's comment on FastEasyTraffic ...
It's pretty lame
After being a part of so many traffic exchanges, even this one didn't bring me the traffic I was looking for. I used to run a hosting business, and I came across this traffic exchange. I felt that this would enhance my business and I'd gain customers. Unfortunately all I got were tons of hits, but no real targeted traffic. The surfing goes pretty fast, and it seemed to me like no one was really bothering to view the sites that they were surfing, but simply trying to gain hits for their sites.
I would have wanted to know if any of these surfers even had a spark of interest in any of the sites they were surfing, or if they just surfed for their own benefit. I don't like traffic sites that much. I find them to be useless. I would prefer a traffic site with a slower timer. This way people can actually view the sites they are surfing.
My results on this were that I gained hits, but I did not gain any customers for my business AT ALL! Once I realized this, I stopped using this service altogether. I would surely not recommend this site.
Elizabeth's comment on Rich Jerk ...
Not What I Expected
I decided one day, for my own curiosity to buy the e-book. The tips were great, and I have no complaints about the book, that, I would recommend. Now the only thing that really irritated me was once I put in my information, the calls started rolling in. Calls asking to be a part of their club, BUT the thing was I had to pay for it. I didn't have the money for it at the time. I mean a few thousand dollars is a bit much. After that I started to feel that this was not something I expected. I don't recommend it, because once you are in you will be bombarded with calls from people who are just out for your money.
Elizabeth's comment on Donkey Mails ...
Donkey Mails Is A Steady Earner
I was a member of Donkey Mails way back in 2003 and I enjoyed making money from this site, but the only thing I didn't like about it was that the earnings are pretty low. When I first joined payout was only 50 cents, now it's $1 and they even offer pay to promote which is 75 cents per 1000 page views. Now that sounds easy, but the 1000 page views never come easy. In order to do pay to promote you do have to join sites that they allow you to promote their page at. For me that was not something I wanted to do.
I did get paid, it took me 3 months to reach payout, and it took 5 months to make $1. A long time, if you ask me. I had referrals, but the possibility of them not being as active, could have been the cause of the slow earnings. It would have been nice to be able to earn a little faster, or even a little more on this site.
Elizabeth's comment on Proper PTR ...
This One Is A Scammer!
Advertisers would have to pay a lot of money for a site like this to be able to offer such high paying clicks. There is no way that this site would pay. But me, at the time thought it was the perfect site. I actually believed it was a paying site since it has that written on the sidebar. I reached the payout, but of course never got paid! Sites like this are only out for themselves, they really could care less about those who fall for their scams. I don't like anything about this site, and I would not recommend it to anyone. Don't fall for this one!
Elizabeth's comment on ShadowShopper ...
Mystery Shopping Nightmare
I joined and I paid for this service, thinking that I was going to make some cash. Little did I know that what I had just done was throw cash out the window. I would have liked to have been able to make something off this site. They do offer jobs, but many times when you apply, you either never hear back or what they have you do is nothing but a time waster. I won't recommend this site. Don't throw your money into this. You get nothing in return. I wish I had known how bad they were before I even joined. Thank goodness I cancelled out of this before it was too late.
Elizabeth's comment on Dragon Surf ...
Don't Waste Your Time!
You would think that a 3:1 ratio would help you to get views for your sites, but it really doesn't. I was a member for 1 year, and during that time I owned a small hosting company, which needed a few views. I came across Dragon Surf and I figured this would help my site to be seen. It was nothing but a HUGE waste of time for me, in the entire time I was a free member I only received no more than 10 views! Not enough, especially when you own a hosting company or any type of company. My advice is this: find the free traffic sites that offer you a 1:1 ratio, and you will receive more of a bargain then.
Elizabeth's comment on $7 Secrets ...
A Waste of $7
I bought the e-book and I will say this much. The information is useful and perhaps beneficial to those who want to know more about making money. For me however it was worthless. I found that I had to basically "sell" this product to other people, by telling them what the program offered and what it was about. I didn't like that at all. I felt like I was wasting time with it, so I stopped using the program altogether.
I thought this book was going to show me how to make money online, but never did I imagine that I'd have to convince others to buy the book.
Elizabeth's comment on MonaVie ...
It Works But Not For Me
The first time I heard about this product was through a friend who at the time was helping me find ways to make a little extra cash. She mentioned MonaVie to me and told me what a wonderful business opportunity it was. I asked her if it cost anything to join and she said not at that time, they were and still are offering for a limited time free membership to their program. Before I could even decided if the product was any good to sell, she sent me a free bottle of MonaVie, which is actually a juice made of acia berries, which was actually very good, and it did what the product claims it does. It made me feel more alive, my joints hurt less, and the energy this drink gave was incredible. I thought, if she sells this, and it makes people feel better then I'd love to do it too!
A week later I became a distributor, through her, and made quite a bit of money. I will remind you that this is not a get rich quick type of site, but it is something that may or may not be worth doing. The only thing is, you need to find people to sell the product to. See one bottle of MonaVie goes for $40! Now for me, it was difficult to find anyone who even wanted to spend that much. So my suggestion is that if you become a distributor, be sure you have an idea of who would want to buy this product from you. Last thing to remember is that you have to purchase the product you are selling, like an obligation. I could not do that, it became too difficult for me, but for others it may work differently.
Because I could not stick with this, I never got paid, which I didn't like very much, I had money just hanging there, at least $100, which I should have been paid since my friend sent me referrals. Unfortunatly they only pay if you are selling the product as well. It works for some, but not for me.
Elizabeth's comment on Clix N Cash ...
This Site Is Pretty Good!
I've been a member of Clix N Cash for 2 years and they have never failed me once. The first time I joined I was a bit skeptical about it, but curiosity got the best of me so I joined. The payout for this site at the time I joined was twenty cents. Since that time, the payout is now one dollar.
The way this works is simple. You join and you click for cash and points, and most of the points are redeemable for cash. Clicks are worth up to $01 points, can go up to 5, but usually are 1 point. Not very much, but the paid to sign up section is worth $0.10 cents! That adds up. Paid to promote is also $01 per page views.
I would say they are a steady earner but they DO PAY! I love this site and I recommend it to anyone.
Elizabeth's comment on Vindale Research ...
Just Not Worth It
This site when I first joined it had a nice little advertisement that claimed one could make $75 dollars easily with surveys and such. I figured surveys are something one can do easily, but when I was at the site all I found were offers. Surveys actually meant you had to sign up for offers and free trials. I didn't like that very much. I did get a few surveys that were not offers and made some cash, about $42. Unfortunately, I haven't seen a dime of it, it's been almost a year now.
Elizabeth's comment on Clicksia ...
Takes forever to earn that dollar!
I've been a member of Clicksia for awhile, well actually, I've been a member for almost 5 months and I still have not reached payout, which is only $1. Now I can understand sites that are steady earners, but this site claims the payout can be reached easily. I think it's only easy IF you have referrals, otherwise you will be clicking away forever in a days end. I don't participate in this site as much or if at all anymore. To me it's just too slow to earn.
Elizabeth's comment on StatCounter ...
Stat Counter is WORTH IT!
I used this counter on one of my old domains to keep track of stats. It never failed me. It was easy to read and understand how my stats were kept. I would recommend this counter to anyone who wants to keep track of their site stats. The best part, it's FREE. Give it a try. I am sure not everyone will be satisfied with it, but I recommend it. You won't be disappointed! At least I wasn't.
Elizabeth's comment on Ipower Web Hosting ...
There are better hosts out there
This was the very first company I had my first domain hosted on. I loved all the details and it seemed like the perfect place, well, for me at least. After the first 2 months I wanted out. Their customer service was mostly automated, and to talk to someone that wasn't a robot took awhile to reach. Their servers are slow, and I gather it's the possibility that they have an overload on the amount of people hosted with them.
There are better hosts out there. Not that this host is actually bad, but I would not recommend it. Perhaps my experience was not to my satisfaction. Again, I still would not recommend this host, reason being that it will take you awhile to talk to an actual person.
Elizabeth's comment on Mystery Clickers ...
So THAT'S the Mystery!
I'm one of these people like many who love to find ways to make a decent dime on the internet. One day I stumbled upon Mystery Cents and thought to myself "Hey, this ought to do it!". So me being a sucker at that time joined the site, and clicked away, 3 months later I make it to nearly $5000! I was thinking to myself "WOW, now THAT would be great cash to have!" Well stupid me did not read the TOS. So I did, and only to find out that the $5000 I thought was real cash, was only a measly .50 cents!
I get it now! I figured out the mystery! So, for those of you considering this site, don't do it. It really was a waste of my time, and sadly many sites are. My advice to you is this, READ the TOS! If you don't, you will be kicking yourself for not doing so later on.
Elizabeth's comment on Deals N Cash ...
Deals and Cash is just OK
I was a member of this site for about a month or so. Although I enjoyed it, I didn't feel like I was ever going to reach payout. After that month I only earned about 30 cents, along with their 10 sign up bonus that was $10.30, still not enough for payout. I left because I just felt it really wasn't something that I wanted to do.
Elizabeth's comment on Snap Dollars ...
Snap Dollars isn't fair game
Snap Dollars has a strange way of doing things, for example, the payment amount they claim. When I first joined this site, the minimum amount to get paid was $20. Once I reached the minimum, they upped it to $40. That really doesn't seem fair. The other thing about this site is the credits on offers. They take a very long time to credit an offer, but in most cases they never do. I got very frustrated with this, I then realized this site was not worth my time. I would not suggest this site to anyone. Snap Dollars isn't fair game.
Elizabeth's comment on Bux.to ...
Don't Even Try It!
I first heard about this site from a friend online who suggested I try it out. I will admit at first I was hooked in. I loved the idea of clicking for 1 to 2 cents, and believe me there was a lot to click those years back. I joined in November of 2007, and stupidly wasted about $40 or so on referrals. I made nearly $200 in a very short amount of time. To this day, I still have not seen a dime of it. My paypal account was never credited.
These people are good at taking your money, but when it comes time for them to pay up, don't expect to see any of it. This site is just another scam. Please do yourself a huge favor, stay away from this site. Don't waste your time and energy like I did.
