Hannah828's comment on Yola ...
It's a pretty good service
Like some previous reviewers, I signed up with Yola when it was Synthesite. I mostly just played around with it and then got sidetracked from it for a while. I like the fact that you don't have to be an expert at coding to create a site. I still find it more complicated than blogger though, perhaps because I have more experience with that platform. There are a lot of free layouts to choose from. And there are a ton of paid ones to choose from too. Once thing I had not realized is that you can disable ads for a nominal fee and that you can put your own ads in without any google slap! That is all I needed to get back into Yola. So, I am trudging back in there to start working on another site and see how I might be able to monetize it.
Hannah828's comment on PayPalExtreme Mailer ...
I am going to have to go against the grain here
This is probably one of the most candidly negative reviews I have done for IM Report Card, and this will completely go against the positive reviews for PayPalExtreme Mailer that have been written thus far. And here I go...
I have looked into purchasing PayPalExtreme Mailer a few times, and after reading all of the positive reviews here, I decided to go ahead and purchase it. There was a tiny little doubt in the back of my mind about it, however, and that was the fact that the service claims to send emails to hundreds of thousands of Paypal verified accounts. Since I myself have one of these PP verified accounts, I wondered why I had never received a list email from PayPalExtreme Mailer. That, in a nutshell, is the small voice inside that I should have listened to. I think I could write about 3 or 4 pages of content about this, but I am going to try to keep it as clear and simple as possible.
I purchased the product through an affiliate. (I like to do this as I know I am helping to support another marketer).
There was a two step process to the payment for the product. The first step was to be taken to the affiliates page, where I payed my 15 to the affiliate. (That is the commission for the resell on PayPalExtreme Mailer.) I was then directed to the main page to pay for the remaining 9. Paypal was not an option for that, oddly, but I was able to use my PP debit card, so not a biggy.
So, eveything has been payed for and I wait, and wait, and wait... No product arrives in my inbox. No password, no registration form, Nothing. I emailed admin. I got the who is info, I made phone calls, submitted tickets... NO Response. I thought perhaps because I use Yahoo maybe I missed the email for the login page. I contacted 5 members here at IM report card to ask them for a link to the login page. I got NO response whatsoever. I decided to check member profiles, and found that the 5 members I contacted were new as of this month (Jan 2010) and had a limited number of reviews. The rest were new members. The oldest member joined on December 2,2009.
I began to do some research.
It turns out that the seller, Matthew Wells (Matt Wells) has been criticized by some as a scammer for his oft-promoted list building programs.
When I called his number, I got a standard message asking to please contact the help desk, and that calls regarding Internet Marketing Programs would not be returned.
And once reaching the help desk, I submitted a support ticket to Macronet International, where his answering machine message directed me. (A ticket that 12 hours later has not been answered.)
I decided to look into a refund, and HERE IS THE REAL KICKER: Mr. Well's site, Macronet International has the following to say about refunds:
"When a refund is requested the buyer will be blocked from using our servers and those of our affiliated companies. This means that the person will lose access to any and all memberships that are based on any of our servers which includes all partners and affiliates of MacroNet. Being blocked from our servers is a serious condition as the person being blocked will be losing access to the submitter services of over 600 online marketing companies spanning the globe. When requesting a refund we require a full page receipt of the purchase regardless of which payment processor was used when making the original purchase. In some cases we may require an individual to submit a refund request form in order for us to process the refund request"
I was hoping to leave a great glowing review of this service but frankly, I find it the worst one I have rated so far. I am also very concerned that the data may be skewed by reviewers who have possibly received incentives to rate this site positively.
Hannah828's comment on Pay Zeno ...
Simple to use, very clear instructions
I am absolutely loving this new network. From the moment I signed up, I was given clear directions for promoting, and how to configure my paypal account so that the customer would reach the "Thank You" page and I would be notified of the sale. The biggest upside to this network is the instant paypal payments. Instead of having to wait 30 or 60 days for a commission, it is instant. You are also receiving your commission every time, instead of on every other sale, which a similar network does. The only downside that I can see with Pay Zeno is there are a limited amount of products to promote. With that said, however, I was able to find a few that I was interested in. I am sure that as the network grows, the list of products will grow as well. I highly recommend this to anyone, who, like myself is interested in instant payouts and easy to follow instructions.
Hannah828's comment on Paying PTR ...
Absolutely a scam
Paying PTR is just one of those fly by night sites that screams "SCAM!" I signed up just to get the lay of the land, and I can say with 100 percent assurance that this site is just another scam site. They will use you for getting some cash and advertising money from clicks and disappear into the night...
The payouts are too high to make this site even remotely sustainable. They will never pay. This is a trap to entice newbies to sign up thinking they can make a lot of money real quick by simply reading ads. It's a classic scheme that still works, mainly because there are thousands of new people still logging on to the internet every day with the hope of finding some way out of their terrible financial situation. STAY AWAY. There are many good legitimate sites, but any site promising this amount of money is not the real deal.
Hannah828's comment on Wufoo ...
The easiest form creator I have ever used
Wufoo is by far the easiest (and the most fun) form creator I have ever used. It is so simple to easily create most any kind of form that you might need for your site. In my case, I joined with the free version and was able to create a contest entry form for one of my blogs. In the form settings, I was able to turn on a feature where the visitor is only able to enter once per IP. That is an awesome feature if you hold a lot of giveaways. There are dozens of logos, backgrounds, borders and more to use, and if my giveaway goes well, I will definitely be upgrading to the paid version. I highly recommend the service.
Hannah828's comment on PyraBang ...
I actually gave it a B
I have actually enjoyed Pyrabang, and all the alternative news I read there on an ongoing basis. There are a lot of very brilliant writers who never get the opportunity to be heard in the mainstream and Pyrabang gives that chance to anyone with a will to succeed. I think the monthly fees are very low. As a free member, you still have access so some amazing, imaginative, and let's face it: sometimes downright off-the-wall content. As a writer, it's a chance to voice your opinion and be heard by your peers. The system of compensation IS very hard to understand, I do agree with that, and the site is a bit eclectic and hard to navigate. I have stuck around for 6 months and am glad that I have. Just takes some time to figure it all out. Not making a whole lot of money, but I didn't join it for the revenue. I joined it for the independent press aspect of it. If I get a little windfall from it, all the better!
Hannah828's comment on 1 Million Free Ads ...
I think it's great!
I use traffic exchanges quite a lot, so when I joined 1 Million Free Ads I was pretty much expecting the usual. I tested out the site using my free credits and got a few hits. Nothing to write home about. However, the most beneficial thing about 1 Million Free Ads is the free download section. There is a ton of information in there! And that is available for free members, not just paid. There are several reports and ebooks that you can rebrand with your own links to help in your listbuilding, and a huge (over 400 sites) database spreadsheet of text ad exchanges you can join, with promo codes for getting extra free credits (more advertising for you). Then there is the spreadsheet of list builders, the spreadsheet of traffic exchanges(about 160 of them)and a database of safelists. So, the sales pitch of 1 Million Free Ads is actually close to accurate. If you signed up for all of these sites, even as a free member, you would get nearly 1 million free ads to use, whether they be banner ads, text ads, or ptc ads. I love the fact that it is all in an excel spreadsheet, which makes it easy for me to just print it off and check off each site as I join. You are also given download links to 12 ebooks which cover a variety of marketing topics. If you have the time to research and join this exhaustive list, you can definitely promote your program for free. I was surprised to see the other negative reviews of this site, because I myself got a lot more than I was expecting.
Hannah828's comment on AffiliateScout ...
A good tool for research
I don't promote Affiliate Scout as a way to make money in itself, however, I do use it as a decent research tool. It is not as comprehensive in it's listings as IM report card, in that there are very few published reviews. But there are a lot of links that I was not able to find elsewhere. For instance, they list over 260 affiliate networks alone. This in itself is a great resource to see which networks you may want to consider working with as a publisher. The site relies heavily on paid advertising, so ratings near the top are not necessarily a good indication of how good a program is, because many of the listings are sponsored (although they do have red "sponsored listing" symbol), I don't rely on it so much to find the best program as I do to just finding certain programs. The biggest downside to the site is that there are google ads all over the place which make it a little hard to "see the forest for all the trees". Otherwise, it serves as a good database of programs to consider joining as an affiliate or even as an advertiser. I don't see myself paying for the service, as I really have no need to join the paid directory, although I would recommend it to others as the cost for being in the directory is relatively low. (25 dollars)
Hannah828's comment on NameCheap ...
Very Inexpensive, But not cheap
I love Namecheap as they always have some kind of special going. They have been around for awhile and I talk to other marketers all the time who use Namecheap for their domain name needs. The site is extremely simple to use and while it is not too fancy, it does deliver and cheaply too. I wish I had found it much sooner, as I was paying a lot more a year or so ago for my domain names. I have also had excellent experience with their top notch customer support. I have noticed most people saying they are paying 10 for a domain name, but my experience has been that I can get one for under 8. One tip is to follow them on twitter as they have specials that might be advertised there that are not on site. That is how I originally stumbled across Namecheap. They run a lot of contests to win free domains too which is fun. As mentioned in some other comments, you can use paypal for the service which I love, as it helps me keep all my records straight, and saves me the hassle of having to pay interest or get billed. All-in-all, highly recommended!
Hannah828's comment on My Cash Empire ...
Great site for learning. Very simple
I joined MCE on a whim through an ad displayed on a traffic exchange site. I found it to be mostly what I expected. The usual fancy sales pages and several opt-ins. I took the free membership and that is what I would recommend to anyone wanting to have a look around. Upon joining, I was immediately sent a link with several great e-book downloads, something else to add to my library. There were ebooks about writing good sales letters, google adwords, email marketing, and a few others. Free e-books from any source are always helpful, as I always learn some new nugget I can use. I was also given the link to my back office which I found really helpful, as I learn by being able to experience something firsthand. The thing I like the least about this site is that you must use alertpay for sending or getting payments and that really turns me off. I prefer paypal far better, which is why I most likely will not upgrade at this site in the future.
Hannah828's comment on Anything4Free ...
Anything4Free is a great place to earn some extra cash
I joined Anything4Free ages ago and I really loved it. I made quite a decent amount of money there one Christmas Season. Like another reader had stated, I originally learned about Incentivized Freebie Websites through Project Paycheck, and found out that I could in fact make some fast cash with very little investment. The only problem I see with A4F is that there are now fees associated with membership. (It was free when I joined). There are some other sites that do not cost anything to join. The upside is that A4F is long established and has strict trading guidelines which makes it safer for all traders (no-fly-by night traders running off with your hard earned money). There is also a huge community of friendly people here that are willing to jump right in and help you get started. IFW trading is a great money making opportunity for anyone needing to make some cash without the long learning curve some other programs entail.
Hannah828's comment on TamPogo ...
Joined Tampogo because It was highly recommended
I joined Tampogo about 6 months ago because it was highly recommended by an individual in am IM marketing group I belong to. I think the concept is very solid and the charitable aspect of it is the most attractive aspect of it. Feeding the hungry is a high priority for me in my charitable giving. My problem with Tampogo is that I just can't get excited about it. The business opportunity is a basic run-of-the mill MLM structure with the built in autoship that is something that is a real turnoff for me because the products are (how to put this tactfully?) somewhat dull. They have candles, bath products, some jewelry, printer ink, windbreaker sets and some other very basic products. Nothing really jumps out and says "Wow" to me, so it would be very hard to promote. Although I am signed up as an affiliate, I just can't muster up the enthusiasm for it. I stay signed on in the hopes that they may in the future come up with a more dramatic, marketable product.
Hannah828's comment on Freelancer ...
Get a freelancer is perfect for putting a few notches in your belt
I have had a great experience with this site. First off, there are a ton of freelance jobs available at any given time, and if you can read, write and understand English, you have a great chance of being able to score a few projects as I have. I have been able to write a few articles and made 10 for one 500 word article, another 10 for a 300 word press release, and a whopping 50 for a tutorial.
It should be noted that you need to have a good grasp of writing, grammar and proofreading to make article writing work for you on this site.
However, I must mention that the site is not just about freelance writing. They are always looking for developers, programmers, social networking experts and basically anything related to computers. In fact, the database of jobs they have available is in the hundreds.
While GetAFreelancer would not be my choice for long term contracts, I have found it to be a very good site to get my foot in the door and prove myself. I have made a lot of good business connections through the site and would recommend it to anyone looking to break into freelancing.
Hannah828's comment on Paidyousure.com ...
Paidyousure has no ads to to make money with
When I joined this site I was was expecting the usual PPC script. On the signup page, there is a link for seeing the latest payments that have gone out. It looked pretty legit to me, and as a free member, I thought I would try my hand at it. The main problem with this site is that there are virtually no ads in rotation! Out of 15,000 members there are NO PTC ads in rotation, NO emails in queue, and only a handful of banner ads to look at! So, it looks like this will be pretty slow going. The site says that they have paid out over 50,000 dollars in commissions, but I find that hard to believe. Not impossible, but the stats don't seem to ad up. If there is no advertising, it seems impossible that the program could be sustainable. All in all, pretty lame.
Hannah828's comment on AdKreator ...
A decent little tool, but too expensive
I decided to try out the AdKreator to create a squeeze page for a contest I wanted to enter. Like another member stated, I discovered that I already had the tools I needed for free. I can do the exact same thing with various programs I have installed, and I actually have more options. However, if you know absolutely nothing about designing, then this is a very simple product to use, and the tutorials are easy to understand. I think the reoccurring monthly fee is a bit steep for what you get. I decided not to go with the upgrade after testing it out. If the 14.95 was a one-time cost I would think about purchasing it, but the ongoing billing is not for me. I gave it a C because It really is "Just OK".
Hannah828's comment on Create Your First Website by 3:45 This Afternoon ...
Create Your First Website by 3:45 This Afternoon is THE REAL DEAL
I cannot imagine what I could say about Chris Farrell that other users have not already said, but this guy is so REAL and so helpful, if you were ever looking for a mentor online... this is your guy.
I signed on to this program: Create Your First Website by 3:45 This Afternoon to get a better glimpse into the the membership site Chis has to offer.
First, let me say that this product was FREE for me at the time of my downloading it, and it is 125 pages of step by step in creating a website. This is not just a site that redirects you to a hosting or web creation site. This is Chris holding your hand and showing you the step-by-step process of building your first site. And he is thorough, very thorough, and the process is explained in such a way that it is not condescending, but allows the user to fully understand every aspect of site building, and true to his word, you can in fact have your site online by 3:45! Which is rather arbitrary of course, but the point being that you can in fact do this in a matter of an hour or so... SERIOUSLY.
I have searched for a long time for this kind of info and the fact that you are getting a 125 page ebook for FREE should be enough to push you over the edge in signing up to this guys list. He is just so honest and it is very refreshing. I say to anyone contemplating Chris to just dive right in... you wont be sorry.
Hannah828's comment on Craigslist Traffic ...
Purchased on a black hat forum
All I can say about the Craigslist traffic program is that it is useful, informative, and well worth the money I spent. (I got it for 5 at a discount through an online friend). There is a wealth of information in this program that will help the beginner and the experienced marketer alike to navigate Craigslist for maximum profit!
Some of the methods that are mentioned are not necessarily as "above board" as integrity in marketing is concerned, so be aware that you are getting a lot of information that you can take or leave. I think one of the most helpful things about this is that it helped me to actually realize how other people were making so much money on Craigslist while I was still floundering. While I probably would not use some of the more questionable methods, I still found a lot of valuable information. I learned quite a bit and am glad for the information. If you ever wondered "How do they make money with that"? This is the product for you.
Hannah828's comment on AstroBux ...
Astrobux is a good addition to your daily clicks
I have a regular list of daily clicks that I do, in order to rack up a little cash at the end of the month. AstroBux is on my top ten list. I can easily make a 1 a month here just doing my daily clicks, without needing refs. It is one of those sites that I consider as a simple freebie, just for performing a minor task (clicking on ads) that takes a couple of minutes a day of my time. When combined with other PTC sites, the earnings add up. I made 1 and change last month, and really spent very little time. Posting in the forums was not a real issue for me, since I like to talk. I did find there were a couple of days that the site seemed to be experiencing unusually slow loading times. Basically, I just came back the next day or two when things were back to normal. I am normally a little leery of Bux sites, given the bad rep that they have earned in the past year, but AstroBux seems to be legit, and now as long as I am making money and not risking anything but a few minutes of my time, I think it's a pretty safe bet to add this site to your list of PTC sites that pay.
Hannah828's comment on PowerBarClub ...
Just another toolbar download
In my 6 or so years of marketing online, I have seen toolbar programs come and go, and have yet to find even one that is remotely lucrative enough to make me want to keep it on. PowerBarClub is no exception. This is an old scheme that seems to not want to die. It is based upon the promise that all you have to do is download a toolbar and "poof" income will automatically appear in your account. As with all toolbar programs (and most other pay-per-action sites), the only way to make money is to recruit A LOT of other people who spend A LOT of time clicking and searching. Time is an Internet Marketer's most valuable commodity. I don't have enough of it to waste on low paying programs. It should also be said that there are some serious loading issues with the site and my computer reacted strangely to it. Not sure if anyone else had this experience, but it seems to be typical for toolbar downloads. If you must run some sort of toolbar, run something useful to your marketing efforts, like the IM Report Card toolbar, or a search bar that rewards you, but don't expect to make money from your toolbar.
Hannah828's comment on GibLink ...
Not worth the upgrade
I am a free (basic) member of GibLink and have not found any specific advantages to this program that cannot be found elsewhere utilizing a free social networking site. For starters, the annual cost of nearly 500 is off putting, to say the least. Links within the site are hard to navigate. There is just too much "stuff" going on. It is a lot like a Ning site but is supposedly monetized. So far, I have not made any money with it, although I don't promote it so that is not really a fair review of the money-making aspect of it. What I do get is a lot of email from people wanting to "friend" me so that I will join their programs, basically advertising. Also, the site does not seem to be regularly updated. It looks like it has been a couple of weeks at least since admin has added any new content or information for the members. For 500, I want a message from admin on a daily basis, if only to keep me interested. My opinion is that most people who are serious about marketing would be far better off putting 500 into advertising, or better yet, on your own membership site.
Hannah828's comment on Artisteer ...
I think it's a little complicated
I downloaded the free version of Artisteer and honestly still don't get it, which leaves me thinking that I must be a total idiot! Supposedly this is supposed to be super easy, but I actually found it a more complicated way to build a webpage than Homestead, and I was able to do a whole site on that. The themes are pretty run-of-the mill, and I was unimpressed with the stock images that were available. But for the life of me, I could not figure out how to input text. I spent about 2 hours trying out the site and still got nowhere except to pick out some cool color combinations. I gave up on it and decided to try and tackle it another day when I had more patience. Overall, I was unimpressed.
Hannah828's comment on Tezak Traffic Power ...
I expected a lot more from Tezak
I joined Tezak during the launch phase, when they were giving out 1 per referral. I had 36 unique referrals and only got paid for 2 of them, because they did not surf the amount required for them to qualify. The problem with that is that there was a magic number of sites they had to surf that was not revealed to me. When I contacted support to find out what the requirements were I was told that it was a "closely guarded secret". That experience left a bad taste in my mouth for Tezak. It just seemed a little shady to me. Although there are a tremendous amount of members on the site, I don't get a lot of good traffic. There was a huge amount of hype about this TE, but when push comes to shove, there is nothing spectacular about it, and I only check in from time to time to see if any of my refs are active or have purchased advertising. So far I have made about 3 total on the site. Not worth the time and effort I put into promoting it.
Hannah828's comment on Traffic Now Fire ...
Traffic Now Fire is excellent for hits
I have been a member of TNF for about a year now, and while I have only made a few cents from the site itself, it has generated some leads for me. The best thing about this site though is the ability to generate a lot of hits really quickly. I use TNF whenever I am promoting any new program. It really generates a lot of hits in a short amount of time. Usually 50 to 100 per post. I get many more hits from TNF than I do with most other traffic methods that I use, so I consider it a worthwhile tool that costs nothing to use. They have also just added a clickbank component that looks interesting, where you can have clickbank products automatically and randomly promoted with your links. You really can't go wrong. It's free and effective to drive hits to wherever you need them.
Hannah828's comment on LinkBucks ...
I absolutely hate linkbucks
Yes, that is a strong opinion, but right away, I saw this was not going to work for me. Nobody actually wants to be advertised to just to view a link. I do a lot of advertising on TE's and found that linkbucks and other similar programs (Link Bee, linkisking, etc) are not only not allowed, but can get your account suspended! At first, this looked like a way to earn some easy cash, but I quickly found out that is annoying to most, if not all people. It's kind of like a really long and annoying message you have to listen to on the answering machine before you finally here the beep. It feels like such a waste of your time, and it shows so blatantly that you don't mind wasting other peoples time so you can make a few cents. Thumbs down all the way!
Hannah828's comment on Smiley Traffic ...
I like smiley because the it's different
I belong to over 50 TE's and most of them are almost all the same. Smiley Traffic is unique, eclectic, dare I call the site a bit eccentric? These are the reasons I like it. Not the same old ho hum. The site is NOT well organized. Not even close, but something makes me keep coming back. Yes, there does seem to be a bit of drama here, but that's what keeps it so lively. I think there are quality surfers and then the auto surfers, which don't necessarily see your sites, the thing is, you are still getting hits. I think that if you want hits, then this is a good exchange to use to get your ratios up. The other thing I like is that I am not getting messages all the time telling me to put my site into rotation or risk forfeiting my account. It is always you choice when and how to use your credits. This is an enormous TE and I think that the numbers themselves show that there are at least some redeeming factors to being a member. I am not an upgraded member, nor will I probably ever be, but I'll stay, if only to see what happens next. What can I say? I like it!
Hannah828's comment on TeamWork Revolution ...
Awesome support from the upline here
I have joined a lot of similar programs (GDI included), but have not experienced the level of support that I have with TWR. My upline is a friendly, personable lady, and not some GURU spamming constantly with totally unrelated pitches for other programs. I have had no problem getting my questions answered promptly and honestly. I am new to this, and had really sworn off the MLM type programs for good until I found this one. I think that the support alone is reason to give it a try, and 10 is a lot less than some other programs. The other great part of this program is the web page. I am still learning c-panel, so it is a little slow going for me, but again, I get top notch support when I ask.
Hannah828's comment on Get Ref ...
Have had little success with get refs
I have not had the greatest success with this program. I joined quite a while back and found it to be not very user friendly. I found it hard to navigate, but I did try. From time to time I go back there and check it out. There have been some improvements to the site since its inception, but not a lot. It is still hard to navigate in my opinion. And as another commenter posted, you have to be careful about the programs you are promoting. A lot of sites don't allow incentivised traffic, so you could be wasting your time and loosing your account at one of your favorite sites to boot.
Hannah828's comment on SocialOomph ...
This is a fantastic twitter application
I joined SocialOomph back when it was tweetlater and have always loved this tool. I have stuck with the free service, but I would recommend upgrading if you have a lot of followers, and especially if you have more than one twitter account. The features that I use the most are the automatic following and unfollowing and the one that sends an automatic message to all new followers. The service has helped me to keep my follower to following ratio well balanced. There are a lot more aspects of the program I have not even used yet, simply because there are only 24 hours in day! I highly recommend this as one of the best twitter apps out there!
Hannah828's comment on Freebie Force ...
Freebie Force, signed up when they first started, good and bad
I signed up with Freebie Force when the service first started. I originally found it to be a really good opp for people really into getting freebies on the internet. The monthly cost has since gone up, however, from 10 to 20 (give or take a few pennies). I do find that with proper research any individual can easily find the type of information on Freebie Force and not have to pay for it. It is a nice service that is offered, but there are dozens of other websites giving this information out for free. When I emailed the admin about this, the reply was a standard form approach. I did eventually cancel my service and I am glad that I did. There are a lot of free things you can get online, but the info is widely available for free, and generally the value of what you are going to receive is not going to exceed 20 per month. We are talking about coupons, key chains, t shirts and tote bags here, with company names. Do you really want to pay 20 bucks a month to advertise other peoples promo materials?
I stick with the REAL free sites.
Hannah828's comment on Magpie ...
I have earned a little over 4
I joined a couple of months ago and earned a little over 4 the first week, when Magpie tweeted a couple of ads for me. I was pretty psyched, as it is basically free money. I have earned nothing else after that first week. I stay a member of the site in the hopes that it might pick up. I think you have a better chance of just posting your own affiliate links on twitter and getting the revenue directly than doing it through a third-party site like magpie.
Hannah828's comment on Twittad ...
I have made a whole 3
I joined Twittad along with several other Twitter Revenue programs a few months ago as an experiment to see if I could really make money with twitter. I have a following of approximately 1000 users, so I felt like a had a decent change of getting some bids to my acount. After 3 months, I have been offered 1 opportunity and that was today. I accepted, and will whore out my account to Twittad for a measly 3 for a 7 day stint. Now, if this is onging, I can pocket roughly 150 bucks a year, which for very little work on my part, Is not too shabby. To those who have joined and gotten squat for offers, have patience, but don't hold your breath. Hey, it could surprise us one of these days, as twitter continues to grow. The downside to this site, at least in my opinion, is that it is painfully slow to load and I really like to just get on with things. The ration of advertisers to tweeters is low. That is why only the heavy hitters are getting the most revenue out of it. But again, it takes time.
Hannah828's comment on Cash Crate ...
I am a member
I have been a member of cash crate for a while now. There is a tremendous amount of positive information about them out there which surprises me, because I have had a very hard time getting offers to credit there. I have never even reached cashout. I have had offers pending for days on end. I am a member of many GPT programs, and I rate cash crate as one of the lowest on the list. The admin seems nonexistent, and the site is impersonal. I would do some research on GPT programs before joining cash crate, as there are many, many other programs out there that have a much better crediting rate. PS: for those of you afraid of getting spammed in your email box, get a free gmail account and use that for your offers instead.
Hannah828's comment on Article Writing Assistant ...
It works OK
I got a link from another internet marketing friend awhile back about the article writing assistant. I have to agree with the reviewer that at times when you punch in your information, what comes out is rather nonsensical, and the first few times I used it, I thought it was fairly useless, but I kept coming back to try it thinking that maybe I was missing something. I still don't get whole articles out of it, but what I do use it for is kind of a really rough draft, more like an outline for what I want to write. It is good for helping me to organize my thoughts and points and how they relate to each other in an article and helps me to stay on track, so for a completely Free product, I think it has some good uses.
Hannah828's comment on Sunny Suggs ...
Sunny is first class!
I have received a lot of great information from Sunny Suggs and all of it for free. She is a friendly, down to earth person. She has a great tutorial about traffic exchanges that really help to explain the whole process of using traffic exchanges, and she even has personalized ones for various exchanges, as they can all be little bit different. I have had some good success with bootin-scootin traffic as well. I am a free member there. She also has a new ebook out called "My first list" and this is something I am thinking of purchasing, especially since all of the free information I have already gained from her has been enormously helpful.
Hannah828's comment on Cash Juice ...
I joined as well, still mulling over the paid portion
I think that cash juice does have a good idea going, and I think I might give it the old "upgrade try". As a free member, the other reviewers are correct. There is not a lot for a free member to do except to hang around and check out the site. However, the concept is pretty solid if you surf and just do your part which only takes a little bit of time out of your day, it seems fairly simple. I would not ever expect to get rich through this program, but if promoted properly, I would expect to see a return on my investment. The program is very sound and based on numbers and projected numbers and although nobody is going to become a millionaire with the program, some of us do have a tremendous amount of traffic to be gained. I will post more information after I join as a paid member.
Hannah828's comment on Bum Marketing ...
You can't really Knock FREE
I signed up for Bum Marketing a few weeks back and have been pleasantly surprised at it's simplicity. Yes, critics, it may be too simple, perhaps insultingly simple, but it is basic, and the reports do help you to get your perspective back to basics. I give BM a thumbs up. ) for the fact that A. It's Free and B. It's information that is free. Oh, did I mention, It's free?
Hannah828's comment on Paul Darby ...
Paul Darby is an arrogant jerk!
Wow. I have signed up as a free member for several of his programs over the past year and have been bombarded with spam basically telling me what an idiot I am for not upgrading into whatever program he happened to be promoting at the time. I am glad to see that I am not the only one dissatisfied with Paul Darby's marketing techniques. It seems like there are more than a few of us who feel personally insulted by Mr. Darby's tactics. I have known him best from "Netbug" and I wrote an honest review of that program earlier today. His promo emails to me were insulting and degrading. He is a first class con artist (although not a very good one.) Do not be duped into joining anything that Paul Darby is promoting to you, in fact, unsubscribe from ALL of his lists immediately.
Hannah828's comment on Netbug Advertising ...
I joined Netbug in prelaunch
I was anxiously awaiting the full scale launch of netbug, which had been touted as the "Internet's next big thing". I received all sorts of daily emails letting me know that this program would "Take the Internet by Storm". You know, the usual hype. But I thought, it's new, it's different. I'll give it a shot.
What I discovered is that this program is not new or different at all. There is nothing really new or different about using video to market. That's been going on for awhile now, and paying people to watch it is simply another PPA plan. This is simply a traffic exchange with video, and frankly, it's pretty uninteresting.
The first thing I noticed upon "test driving" the system is that the whole process is very slow. These are not just quick little videos. Some of them are like full-scale infomercials. At a time when people are twittering and using manual traffic exchanges with 8 second timers, this seems a lot more backward than forward, modern marketing.
The user is required to log in, watch a video, and prove to the system that they watched the video in it's entirety by entering a code at the end. I could go make myself lunch and never have to watch the video. Just wait for the code. I can take a bathroom break, or a smoke break, or watch TV, or anything else. In the age of the short attention span, this idea just does not fly.
I haven't even tried promoting it because I cannot imagine that marketers are willing to go through this whole painfully slow process just for a few credits or cash. At almost 40 for the "upgrade", there are plenty of other exchanges out there to make cash and credits that are free to join. Yes, it's video, but will anyone watch it? I can't see that happening. It is just not worth the time. Time is money, and nobody has enough of either.
As the review said, you can opt for the free version and try it out yourself, which is good, although I suggest using an alternate email address because you WILL get hounded with pleas to upgrade now.
Hannah828's comment on Incentria ...
Not bad, but not the best.
I have made a few cents from Incentria but nothing substantial and not enough to cash out. There is just not enough time in my day for an incentive site like this. However, from past experience with GPT sites and with PTC sites, I would have to say that money can be made at Incentria by generating or purchasing a decent amount of referrals. I joined it just to check it out, but since a free member only earns .01 per referral, this is not a program I will be promoting. There are about 20 ads at first that are paid to sign up ads that you can earn 10 cents each on, but again, I just don't have the time when there are other Free to join sites paying .25 to .50 for sign ups and up to 1 per referral and a better percentage of earnings. For me it is a matter of time=money, and I just don't have the time to put into it.
Hannah828's comment on Honest Riches ...
Honest Riches is all it says it is!
There is not a lot of fluff in Holly Mann's ebook. It is very concise and to the point. I purchased Honest Riches 2 a couple of years ago. I was so inspired by this young woman's journey that I printed it out and it has been in a 3 ring binder on my shelf ever since. Honest Riches is a very clear and concise manual for newbies interested in getting involved in internet marketing or affiliate marketing for the first time. It was literally my manual for a year. I took it everywhere with me. Holly now has a new version of the original that is supposed to be coming out soon, with updated information. (a lot can change online in 3 years), and I will be the first in line to get it once it is available.
Hannah828's comment on Markus Allen ...
Love Markus!
The review is correct. I have received a lot of great, FREE information from Markus Allen that other people are selling for top dollar. And his tips are simple and easy to follow. They are perfect for a newbie or anyone suffering from information overload. His stuff is a breath of fresh air. He is a fine example of a marketer with integrity.
Hannah828's comment on Tissa Godavitarne ...
I joined, then quickly unjoined
I spent several hours going through the "Steps to monetize". I made it through step one, then made it through step two. I was able to get a trial one week account with GDI. The problem is that Tissa didn't set up my account until I was almost at the end of the GDI trial, so I did not get any real chance to try out the system before I was being charged the monthly GDI fee. So I never did get to step 3, and I wont. The whole process was a little too complicated, and never having been a fan of GDI, a little bit of a turnoff. Support on the forum looks pretty dismal as well.
Hannah828's comment on Holly Mann ...
Holly Mann Follower
Holly Mann was one of my first introductions into IM with her Honest Riches system and the main reason I even decided that perhaps I could make a living in IM. Her story is not just about IM, It is about life itself and is so inspiring that one can't help but be encouraged. This woman is not just about money. She is all about the experience of living life in a good way.
Holly has given me the encouragement I have needed to continue pursuing my dreams and she doesn't even know it. Holly, if you read this.. Thanks!
Hannah828's comment on Acme Free People Search Engine ...
Too complicated
I spent so much time in the Setup of this program and it was so complicated, that when I finally realized what I was getting into - Global Domains - I basically laid it down. I wish that I had been given more forthright information in the first place instead of being strung along. Also, it took the Admin a week to actually set it up for me and that was my one week trial with global domains so of course, after that I had to pay. Wasted time.
Hannah828's comment on Wealthy Affiliate ...
Very Impressive and Comprehensive Service
I have been with the Wealthy Affiliate program for a little over a month. This is truly one of the most comprehensive learning resources that I have ever seen online. There is a huge amount of information and resources that are at your disposal. The support from the community is awesome. I highly recommend it.
Hannah828's comment on Partner With Paul ...
Herbal Life? I thought it was a DVD for Ad words
I was not offered the Herbal Life information but to pay the shipping and handling fee for "How to Make money with Google" or something of that nature. Basically, a paid to promote affiliate products type of program that is pretty old and run of the mill at best. I really did not see it as a good opportunity, basically because I felt I would be scamming people with something I myself am not even interested in.
