Stay Away, very far away from 1&1 hosting
1&1 customer service is severely lacking. I would have to make several calls to resolve one issue. You have to be persistent and know what you want them to accomplish for you when you have a problem, this will of course be hard for a new user.
In addition, I didn't like the fact that you can't pay for a full year of service in advance. They insist on charging you a monthly fee. And yes you better look at your bills carefully - mysteriously things get added to your bill that you didn't ask for. Then of course you have to do battle with the billing department.
Cancelling the service was a complete nightmare - I think they make it so hard on you so that you relent and keep the service. And the really special part is them sending you to collections for a bill you are disputing.
If you don't want headaches, stay far away from 1 & 1!

Seth Godin helps you think outside the box
Being a Squidoo.com Lens Master, you can't help but read about Seth on Squidoo. He is the brains behind the Squidoo.com concept. I have read several of his Squidoo pages on how to improve my online marketing.
Seth has some great solid advice. Between his blogs/websites and books you will be flooded with new ways to think and be online and off. Seth emphasizes being unique and being a leader of your "tribe". In the world of online marketing where so much is "white noise" this is a great concept to follow.
If you are trying to make a dent in your online marketing presence - you must have a Squidoo page, as Google loves Squidoo.

Great Pay Plan and Wide Arrange of Products
I joined Vitamark a couple of years ago. I was extremely fortunate to have a fantastic upline, as having a great sponsor is important to your success.
Is selling health products online easy - no. I live in a Metro area and people can just pop into GNC or the neighborhood health store and purchase something on sale. It is difficult to communicate to people that the difference is quality over quantity, especially in this economy.
Will you get rich overnight or be able to quit your job? No. I found that building my Vitamark business was a slow process, not a way to get rich quick. Vitamark's payplan is lucrative - especially the signup bonuses, but the residual income from monthly auto ships and product sales takes time to build.
My only drawback was having to develop my online skills myself, as I prefer working strictly online as opposed to working leads and warm market. Unfortunately, the "work your warm market" mentality is greatly used, as with any other network marketing company. I believe this is because few network marketers truly understand how to properly market online, much less understand real "SEO. " I bucked against the main stream mentality of chasing leads and to this day, I still have websites that produce.
As with any network marketing opportunity you have to know what you feel comfortable doing and find out how to excel at that. If you can find a sponsor who can help you work either online or off, as is your desire and talent; you can make some nice residual income.

Ed Dale and the 30 Day Challenge - Nothing like it for FREE
This past August, I just happened up Ed Dale and the 30 day Challenge. It was the best time I had spent on the internet learning. It truly opened my eyes to some aspects of internet marketing that I had no clue about.
I will be taking the 30 day challenge again this year. The one great feature to this challenge is, if you miss any thing you can always watch the video or download the pdf document so that you can catch up or keep as a reference.

Market Samurai is Worth The Money
I purchased Market Samurai after my trial expired when taking part in the 30 day challenge. I am still learning how to use Market Samurai as there are so many great features to it.
The customer service guys are extremely helpful. There is also a forum that you can access help from and the MS team visits there often to lend a hand.
They now have a video training series that comes in printed pdf format.
This product is probably one of the best EVER products that I have purchased. They don't charge a monthly fee which is unheard of for a product like this.
It takes a moment to really get used to the program and all it's bells and whistles but you will not regret purchasing it.

Traffic Bug should be called ANTI-Traffic Bug
I got introduced to Traffic Bug during the 30 day challenge. They were offering a 45 day free trial, so I signed up. I added 1 website that is several years old and already indexed. Traffic Bug in theory seemed promising. During the 45 day trial I saw no evidence of the back links it claimed it was submitting for me. I wrote to customer service and was told to be patient - the back links took time to show up - it worked wonders for the 30 day challenge crew's websites.
I signed up for 2 additional months (paid a monthly fee). Every week I would get useless reports that had no verified information. You basically get a spreadsheet saying traffic bug had submitted your site to x amount of places and saved you x minutes in time. That's nice, but what are the names of the sites that my website has been submitted to so I can check the back links for myself? Questioned customer service and was told 'Oh it is thousands of places. ' That is also nice but where is the evidence that Traffic Bug did anything.
After my 2nd paid month with no results, I canceled. Funny thing is all the back links I had created manually showed up in Google. There are other Traffic Bug users that are extremely unhappy with their results too.
As far as a full refund, I was given 1 month back - I was told that the other month was being held for administrative costs. I emailed Michael Roberts (Traffic Bug Creator) and customer service and got no response.
Stay away from Traffic Bug.
