StuartKid09's comment on Auctiva ...
Very good service for online selling
I was formerly an Ebay seller, and I opened a store for sports cards and memorabilia. Initially, the sales were slow, and I had a limited budget for purchasing more inventory. Also, I was 'learning on the run' and made some mistakes in my setup and execution of the store. I discovered Auctiva along the way, and it was a big help. At the time the basic package was free, I believe now there is a $ 2.95 monthly charge. The scrolling gallery gave a boost to my traffic and sales, and gave my site a professional look that it was lacking. They were also very helpful to me, sending several emails, alerting me of the different features and benefits of using Auctiva. Since that time (about 3 years ago), I'm sure they have upgraded the services' capabilities, making it even better. I would highly recommend this to anyone thinking about or currently involved in online selling.
StuartKid09's comment on PeopleString ...
Peoplestring- So far not that impressed, has potential
I joined this site a little over a month ago, after seeing numerous ads popping up all over the net and I was intrigued by the idea of simply opening mail for $$$. I've yet to receive any mail as of this date, and I'm wondering if there is some aditional steps I need to take to receive it. My earning thus far are low, however I did receive a $1.50 sign up incentive. The main benefits I see in Peoplestring are the generous referral program (50 cents per new member), and the ability to use social networking as a promotion tool. Since I'm not really into social networking, that aspect for me is limited. The site itself is fairly well designed with games, groups, polls, videos, etc. to increase member participation and networking opportunities. I can see I will have to spend some time and thought advertising Peoplestring to make joining 'pay off' for me . There are other interesting ways to make money with this site that I will have to investigate further.
StuartKid09's comment on My Easy Task ...
My Easy Task- Easy to make a few dollars only
I joined this site recently, mostly from the positive reviews received on this site. I was interested in some decent assignments, outside of signing up with PTC sites, like article writing. I received an initial $1 bonus for signing up, which was helpful. Also I thought I could probably add some referrals under me from my top PTC sites that I am involved with. A quick scan of the available tasks shows that the majority are 10 cent payouts for signing up for PTC, under the person who initiated the campaign, as their referral. Unfortunately, there is not much motivation for those that complete the tasks to continue to use and generate income for the campaign generator. I am not going to pursue starting my own campaigns, based on what I've heard from others who have. Most of the clickers want to complete the 'task', and then the 'referral' stops. The opportunities for other available assignments is very limited. I will stay involved to reach the minimum payout ($10), but probably will not continue. I feel there are more productive ways to maximize my time and earnings potential online than 'My Easy Task'. I generously graded this a 'C'.
StuartKid09's comment on Bux36.com ...
There are much better PTC sites than Bux36
I joined this site over 3 months ago as a free member, and did reach the minimum payout recently(with a few referrals). Sure enough, I was paid promptly. So far, so good. But I will no longer recommend people to join this site for the following reasons: First of all, it is now closed until Jan 5th, and over the last month there has been a myriad of technical issues for one reason or another. Second, the earnings potential without referrals is very limited. Tha amount of ads you can view is low and getting lower. That might improve as a premium member, but without a solid track record I would not make a $ 75 investment in any PTC. Just a hunch, but I don't think this one will be a long-term survivor. See my links below for better funded and more profitable PTC sites!
StuartKid09's comment on Incrasebux ...
Incrasebux- I would look elsewhere
This is another of the many PTC sites that seem to be inundating the web. Whenever I see a new PTC site that I'm interested in trying, I look on linkbucks 'PTC Investigations'. It is a nice review of PTC sites- most importantly, how reliable they are and how quickly they pay. This has kept me away from some scam sites that I considered joining, and highlighted the quality ones in the group, as well. This site was on the list of legit sites, so I joined. What I've found is that Incrasebux is definitely legit, but isn't worth my time. I prefer Neobux, Matrixmails, Clixsense, and others. I won't send referrals to a site you can't make much money with, and I feel Incrasebux falls into that category. The 30-day waiting period for payment is annoying, especially after the difficulty to reach the minimum payout. I'll leave this one to the kids, or folks that want to spend lots of time clicking away for little reward.
StuartKid09's comment on BeRuby ...
BeRuby-So far, looks excellent!
I joined BeRuby a couple of weeks ago from a Neobux link, and although I haven't reached payout yet ( $ 30 minimum), I have no problem referring people to this site based on what I've seen. The referrals add to your network, which has quite a generous payout system. For pay to click, most of the sites I currently use anyway, so it's a no-brainer. I also like the customizing your homepage feature, it puts this a step above most other PTC sites. I haven't had the time to use some of the other features like the shopping rebate yet, but I look forward to adding to my earnings with this site real soon. Gets graded 'B' only because I can't verify the speed and reliability of payments, but from what I hear, it should be fine.
StuartKid09's comment on EasyTypingCash ...
Should have known better, $ 47 for basic information
O. K., I guess I have an underlying desire to be a writer because normally I would not get involved with buying a product like 'EasyTypingCash'. After paying the $ 47, I was very disappointed to see that this program offered little more than some basics on affiliate marketing, and more fluff on writing articles for your own website and/or blogging for dollars, complete with lots of promises about how much income this will produce. Unfortunately, I believe all of this information is available for free online, and like with most 'money back guarantees' it is not as easy as they make it sound to get reimbursed. Live and learn, such the life of an internet entrepreneur. It just gives me a little more resolve to get to where I know this search will eventually take me.
StuartKid09's comment on Hybux ...
So far O. K. - Got Paid, but too much downtime
I've been with this site since last month, and I was able to reach the $ 3 payout and get paid without too much trouble. Lately, the site has been experiencing a lot of down time (like now), with the blame placed on the 'servers'. Whatever the reason, it is frustrating to not be able to log on, it costs time and time is money. All other indications about this pretty new PTC seem to be legit, so it gets an average rating. Hopefully they will work to correct this server situation, so that members can be confident they will be able to participate and gain referrals.
StuartKid09's comment on Nu Skin ...
One of the Pioneers of Network Marketing
My experience with this company dates back to over 15 years ago. My cousin was involved with Nu Skin, and was successfully selling both the products and adding new 'affiliates' to his downline. I decided to give it a try, with nothing to lose other than the $150 to buy the kit. Remember, this was pre-internet and pre-cell phone days, so network marketing meant trying to sell to your friends, relatives, neighbors, or anyone else that would listen. They used 'meetings', which Amway made famous, to build your team and keep the interest in the products high. I soon found that this was not the right opportunity for me, but the products that I did manage to sell received mostly good reviews. Here it is 2009 and the company is still going, so I think that speaks to the loyalty of the customers to this company. I see they have updated the original program with products like videos to build a web presence, and from what I can tell they must be having some success. But, as with any network marketing outfit, it's far from a fast payout, more like a slow grind. Plan on testing a lot of cosmetic products to get familiar with the product line!
StuartKid09's comment on LuckySurf ...
Luckysurf is good free fun!
I received an email from Luckysurf after visiting one of their partners' sites, and I played their free online lottery game to see how it turned out. They award points based on how many numbers from your card match the daily lottery drawing. You can select up to 10 game cards a day, with the 10th card being a bonus payout card! If you match all 6 numbers in exact order on the 10th card, you win $ 10 million. Matching all 6 in the wrong order pays $ 15,000. All your required to do is view their sponsored ads while they validate each game card you select, usually takes about 10 seconds. I have accumulated about 4,000 points(playing a few times a week) which you really can't use for much, but I like the free chances for the big payout, so I will continue to play. Overall, a fun way to take a shot on a big win, for free!
StuartKid09's comment on SendEarnings ...
Send Earnings is twin of Inbox Dollars
I joined Send Earnings shortly after signing up with Inbox Dollars, and immediately noticed that the site layout is almost identical. Well, I soon discovered they are owned and operated by the same company. Send Earnings is a decent 'Get Paid To' site. You accumulate earnings through reading emails, doing surveys, and completing offers. The problem with most of these sites is it takes a long time to make money at 2 cents per email, and the surveys generally pay less than true market research panels. So you are left with completing offers to reach the minimum payout ($30, same as Inbox Dollars). I did reach payout once, and like Inbox, the time it took for the check to arrive is a little tardy, but it did make it. The customer service will look into any discrepancies that come up, so that is not an issue. I don't count on this site for much income, I just let it build, and I trust that when I reach payout again, they will deliver. Overall, not the best, but pretty good.
StuartKid09's comment on Valued Opinions ...
I really like Valued Opinions as a survey company
I've been with Valued Opinions since May 2009, and I've cashed 3 $ 20 gift certificates from Macy's as my compensation. I would prefer PayPal or check, but these guys seem to do everything else right, so I rate them highly. They are U. K. based, but have been good to this American! First, reward comes within 2 weeks (above average), the compensation ranges from $ 1-5 for fairly short surveys and they seem to always do what they say they will. The number of surveys you receive is about average. I've done a couple product testings for them, and they have been handled very professionally. As a matter of fact, I've had 0 technical issues with this company, which is far and away better than most. I get the feeling they are looking out for me, the survey-taker, by the way they handle the whole process. While you may make a little more elsewhere, you will definitely be happy with the reliability of these guys.
StuartKid09's comment on Opinion Outpost ...
Very dependable survey site
This was the first site I joined when I started doing online surveys, and I've been with them about 8 months now. The best thing about Opinion Outpost is the speed at which you get paid. After I request my check (with only a $ 5 minimum payout), I've received the funds in as little as a week, average of about 10 days. The site even shows when funds were processed and sent so there is no guesswork. The surveys average about 2-3 dollars each, some being more, and are not too long or boring to complete. The only negative is the OTX surveys which hardly ever qualify you, but I'll take 10 more reliable and trustworthy sites like Opinion Outpost any day. I've earned a steady amount of 'change' from this site from the beginning, so obviously I'm a loyal member, and would definitely recommend you give them a try.
StuartKid09's comment on Greenfield Online ...
Not the best, but steady, and pays fast!
I've been with Greenfield Online since April 2009 and have cashed many times (they have no minimum for paypal payments), and have always received the payments fairly quickly.
As far as the surveys, Greenfield must have many clients, because there are many surveys in the system at a given time. However, like SurveySpot and some of the other larger survey outfits, not all of them compensate with cash reward. Some are compensated with sweepstakes entries. Some people may like this, but to me it's frustrating because I'd rather have a small amount of cash than a pie-in-the sky chance for a big win through a sweepstakes entry (Who wins these things, anyway?)
Occasionally, Greenfield will offer an incentive of 50 cents to be added to every completed survey, which can add up quite nicely if you stay active. This usually runs for a week to ten days. The surveys themselves are about average in length on a variety of topics, and as I mentioned, you will get many opportunities if you register with them. Overall, I've made more with some other sites, but this is one I can count on to keep me busy and look forward to the small paypal payments coming in.
StuartKid09's comment on Survey Savvy ...
Not impressed so far
I joined Survey Savvy about a couple of months ago after hearing good things about the site. I heard that they are reputable and reliable to deal with, so I figured I can't go wrong. Well, I've yet to qualify for one of their surveys and I have probably received about 5 so far. One reason may be that a lot of the surveys appear to be ones that are available on other survey sites that I'm a member of, so I may have already taken them elsewhere. That does not bode well for Survey Savvy because that would mean that they are just recycling surveys already out there. I am a newer member so hopefully the number of invitations will increase in the future, so I will see what happens. But if something positive does not happen soon I will drop them. There are too many other sites out there to waste time with one not producing.
StuartKid09's comment on American Consumer Opinion ...
Love this survey site!
I've been a member with American Consumer Opinion for about 6 months, and they have been fantastic to deal with. First off, the surveys usually pay $ 3-5 and are not too time consuming to complete. They pay by check which you can request with any balance, and it arrives as quick as any survey company I've dealt with (1-2 weeks). They usually will send you a quick pre-qualifying survey, which takes a minute or two a few days prior to the actual survey, so if you qualify, you know you will be taking it and getting paid for the regular survey.
Anne Parks, who is the survey administrator, is great to deal with. She is always responsive to your needs (the way survey sites should be). I only wish the surveys were more frequent but I'm thinking as they grow the survey offers will increase also. Overall, great site, highly recommended!
StuartKid09's comment on Survey Spot ...
Decent Survey Site, but there are better ones out there
I've been a member of Survey Spot since April 2009, and have made a small amount from doing surveys for them. They pay by check (low cashout of $ 5), but it takes quite awhile to receive it after requesting payment. Survey Spot is obviously a large operation, as they have lots of surveys in their system at any one time. Problem is, many will only reward you with sweepstakes entries( I strongly prefer $$$), and the higher paying ones either I haven't qualified for or are not available when I try to access them. The ones I have qualified for tend to be long, so don't expect quick money here. I keep hoping that the survey payouts will be better if I stick with them and improve my standing with them (this can happen), but I'm not holding my breath. So while this site is definitely legit, you can do better at many of the other similar sites, in my opinion.
StuartKid09's comment on Russ Dalby ...
Very deceptive, high pressure sales tactics
I wasn't personally drawn into Russ Dalby's 'Winning in the Cash Flow Business', but my girlfriend was, which was bad enough. About 2 years back, facing a tough financial position and seeing Dalby's infomercial many times finally convinced her to take a stab at the Note business. She told me it sounds so easy, just 'find them', 'list them' and get paid, as the program repeats. I had a bad feeling about the claims made, too much money being made by too many of these students sounded bogus to me. With a sales and finance background, I had never heard about these notes and was admittedly curious myself. A quick review of Dalby's reputation on the internet turned up several complaints and skeptics. Well, the $ 60 or so she paid for the program gained her little knowledge in actually how to locate the notes and turn this into your own business, as Dalby and his crew claims. Within days the hard sell came. The man claimed that the program itself was useless without the additional 'mentoring' that you needed to purchase from him. This happened about 3 times, each time my girlfriend being too polite to get rid of the solicitation attempt. That's when I intervened. As soon as I started questioning him about this 'product', he became defensive, and resorted to questioning my manhood since I was defending my partner. Needless to say, I assured this bozo that future calls would be ignored and might result in action being taken against his company. We never heard from the 'coach' again. Overall, Russ Dalby gained a few bucks from us, but it was a fairly inexpensive lesson compared to being sucked in to the additional fees he's really after. It's a very misleading, deceptive way to take people's money. Later, further investigation into this business revealed that with time, money invested, and hard work some deals can be made, but you won't get this info from Dalby's course. I'm sure there are a few success stories out there, but probably 95% of the 'Cash Flow' course buyers came up empty.
StuartKid09's comment on MySurvey.com ...
One of the Better Survey Sites Out There
I joined My Survey in May 2009, and in my opinion, are one of the more professionally run survey sites. First of all, they pay promptly, as I've cashed in a couple of times thus far. Also, they have product testing surveys (You get to keep products and rate how you liked them). The site is well organized and one technical issue I had was resolved quickly. I gave them a 'B' rather than an 'A' because the surveys do not pay as well as some other sites, but they also are generally shorter in length. The surveys/testings come fairly frequently, which is also a plus. Recommended!
StuartKid09's comment on memolink ...
A lot of effort to reach payout
I joined Memolink in June 2009, and have almost reached the payout minimum ($10), which is not very good compared to some other sites I work with. Memolink is similar to other sites that pay you to complete offers, and take daily mini-surveys that pay 1-10 points, or others that pay 600-1200 points. The problem is you need 19,200 points to reach $10, so there is a lot of effort required on your part. I probably could do better by coming to the site more often and trying to complete more offers/surveys, but I feel my time is better spent elsewhere. So I take the easy points, and let the point total build. Hopefully they will pay promptly. The site is fairly well organized, and I believe completely legitimate, just not much of a money-maker, in my opinion.
StuartKid09's comment on Survey head ...
Surveyhead is a consistent moneymaker, recommended!
I joined Surveyhead in May 2009, and have twice cashed in for the minimum $25 payout amount, with the money being sent to my paypal account. The first time it took about 25 days to credit, which wasn't great, but the second time it was about a week. The amount of surveys you receive from Surveyhead is high, so there is ample opportunity to earn with these guys.
One thing that is different from other survey companies is that you should go on their site 2-3 times a day to the 'dashboard' where they list your current survey opportunities. From experience I learned to check this often because the better paying opportunities reach the quotas quickly, so you need to stay on top of this.
They also give you an idea of what your chances are to qualify for the surveys with a percentage for each one. It is true that many you don't qualify for, but normally you find that out very quickly (unlike some other sites). So, all things considered, I've made some money from this site with a minimal amount of hassle, and I would recommend them for those looking to get involved with doing surveys.
StuartKid09's comment on ZoomPanel ...
Lot of surveys for little reward
This survey panel is O. K. if you don't mind the fact that you will take many surveys to accumulate the points needed for a reward (They only give points, not gift certificates or cash). Since April 2009, I have cashed out once at 3500 points, but it took countless surveys to reach that level, and the 'prizes' are mediocre, to be kind. Not to say Zoompanel is not legit, they will keep you busy with surveys, and the site is handled in a professional way. Some are fairly interesting, like product testing surveys I've received. Just don't expect much in the way of rewards.
StuartKid09's comment on Global Test Market ...
One of the Top Survey Sites
I joined Global Test Market in June 2009, and just cashed out $ 50, which is decent. I usually get about 2 survey offers per week, on average, and if you do not qualify you still get 5 marketpoints (. 25) for trying. The ones I complete pay between $1.50 - 5, which is better than most! The payout came quickly, customer service does respond to your inquiries (I had a technical issue with a survey), and the surveys themselves, for the most part, are fairly interesting. All in all, it is a trustworthy moneymaking survey site, so by all means give it a try!
StuartKid09's comment on Lightspeed Panel ...
One of the better survey panels
I've been involved with Lightspeed since June 2009, and I consistently get survey offers that I am able to complete. The surveys can be long and rather tedious, but at least you are reasonably assured you will get paid (I get $$$ in my paypal account from the reward points they offer). The overall pay is probably average to below-average, but given the amount of surveys you can take and the promptness of the payments, I can trust these guys. With most survey panels (as I have now learned), it's anything but a get rich-quick scheme. It's just a way to put a few dollars in your account regularly for sharing your opinions on a variety of subjects.
StuartKid09's comment on Dollar Surveys ...
Make a buck at a time with Dollar Surveys
I came across Dollar Surveys about a month ago, and have completed and been paid for numerous of their surveys which all pay $ 1. What's nice is that some of the surveys are very short and easy to complete, and some are just for participating in a newsletter email sign-up, so it's fairly easy money. Payment comes by Paypal usually the following Monday or Tuesday, and I must say, they have been extremely reliable about it. On the downside, on many days they do not have that many surveys in their database (according to them), so doing 3-5 a week is probably realistic. They send out a daily email reminder for you to check the site for any available surveys, which is pretty nice. I am registered with 35 or so survey sites and I plan on keeping with these guys as long as they continue their payment track record. Hope this helps, Piero
StuartKid09's comment on Snap Dollars ...
Not much to earn with Snap Dollars!
I have been a member of Snap Dollars since April 2009. My total earnings are less than $ 9, way below the $ 40 threshold for cashing out. I have tried a few different ways to build my cash with them (following the sites' guidelines), and none have worked.
Survey Opportunities- I hardly ever qualify, and they pay only 50 cents each so they are hardly worth it.
Reading E-Mails- A penny apiece, and I recently received an email saying in effect that if members don't start visiting and buying from their advertisers, the whole program is in jeopardy! Makes me want to simply stop wasting my time with these guys. Oh and of course the 'Referral Program', which pays you $ 5 per person, once they reach $ 40. Well I have referred 4 people, but of course no one is anywhere near the dollars needed to benefit myself, or them for that matter. The only way to get 'paid' is to participate in the offers which will cost you a heck of a lot more than the payout will be. My rating on this site should be 'I' as in impossible to make any worthwhile money out of it. Try InboxDollars, SendEarnings, or even DollarSurveys. net for better results from similar programs. Best of Luck, Piero
