Xmas's Profile About me ... |

I have an ok paying day time job but life is expensive in the San Francisco Bay Area. Online money making opportunities are a hobby and a nice way to get some pocket-money.
The last website I discovered is Superpoints. Superpoints is a private GPT network, where you get paid for sign up offers, surveys, and playing a fee sweepstakes game called SuperLucky Button. Especially the last one is pretty nice as you get free clicks every day. This won't get you rich but I can watch the ads in my spare time or even during lunch break on my desk. Like I said, it's a nice pocket-money.
Check out Superpoints!

Xmas's comment on Scarlet Clicks ...
Reliable site
I am a member at Scarlet Clicks for a few months now and the review description pretty much fits the site.
Scarlet Clicks is a very reliable site and stable for some quite years. Like all PTC sites it is a waste of time if you can't recruit a lot referrals though.
Regarding advertising with PTC sites. It's ok if you just care for the traffic. Don't expect more than 0.5% doing anything on the site you advertise through as everyone else just clicks to get their incentives.
Cheers,
Xmas
Xmas's comment on Hit2Hit ...
Hit2Hit is getting old
I am a member at Hit2hit for 9 months and I have to say one thing first, the site looks terrible like it is coded in the 80s. I can't believe that sites like this exist anymore.
That's being said, the 2:1 surf ratio is nice. However, the 6 sec timer is just too short. I personally like the 20 sec timers more for manual traffic exchanges.
Xmas's comment on StartXchange ...
Great support, average features
One thing is sure, StartXchange has one of the best support in this scene. It has a forum and a very helpful and friendly admin helping you with any problem.
However, other features aren't that great. The site looks pretty outdated and the surf ratio isn't good. Overall, I can give StartXchange just an average C.
Xmas's comment on TE Toolbox ...
Nice free service but bad instructions
I used TE Toolbox for a few weeks as a free member now and I am very happy with the site.
To have a free url rotator service without any additional ads is pretty unique. And I also like the click tracking system a lot. It is very useful to determine the success of your campaign.
However, I needed quite some time to set everything up as the downloadable instructions are outdated and the site isn't very user-friendly.
Overall the site is great and I am about to upgrade to paid membership.
Xmas's comment on EasyHits4U ...
One of the best traffic exchange
I have been a member of EasyHits4U for over a year now and it is one of the best, if not the best, traffic exchange sites I know. The user base is quite broad so that you will get a lot unique hits to your site even if you use it for several days in a row.
I also like that you can choose what country the visitors to your site should come from. That's very helpful for some of the more tailored campaigns.
Overall I give the site an A but new users should inform themselves about the principal pros and cons of traffic exchange sites before using it.
Xmas's comment on Dropbox ...
Awesome service for free
I have used Dropbox for over a year now and can absolutely recommend it without a doubt.
I never had any problems to access my files and even the 2GB for a basic member (free), is more than enough to store and work on documents and excel sheets.
I also use Dropbox at work and it is approved by my employer.
Xmas's comment on OpinionSquare ...
Very good survey site
I am a member of OpinionSquare for just a few weeks but I am really happy with that site.
The incentives per survey are slightly above average in comparison to other sites but what stands out is their 'consolation' token you receive for every survey you don't qualify for. As every token is a winner in their sweepstakes games, this is actually money just for starting a survey which most other survey sites don't do anymore.
Xmas's comment on PTC TOP 10 ...
Most helpful PTC communtiy site
PTC TOP 10 is easily the most helpful PTC community I have found so far.
I am a member since around 4 months but already learned more from PTC TOP 10 than I have learned from all other PTC communities and forums combined. The regular users are very helpful and take the time to help new members. The admin is one of the most friendliest guys, I have every met in this scene. The incentives to become a high contributor (author) are huge as you will be able to get your referral links behind the banners of the listings. That is more than any other PTC community offers.
However, most important, being active at PTC TOP 10 is a lot of fun.
Xmas's comment on PTC Box ...
PTCBox might be the rising star of the PTC scene
I am a member of PTCBox for 2.5 month now and received one payment via PayPal without any problems.
PTCBox is an up-to-date PTC site, which just officially started this month (February 2012). It was for a couple of months in open beta though. The site is very well made and is paying average payments for clicking the ads. The numbers of available ads are above average though. A paid-to-sign up section is supposed to get implemented pretty soon.
Overall, the program is definitively one of the better PTC sites. Although it is new, the admin has a very good reputation as his second site, MatrixMails, is in business for many years and there are no major complains.
Another unique feature are custom made upgrades to the accounts. If you decide to buy an upgrade, you can specifically choose, what features do you want.
Xmas's comment on Toluna ...
A lot surveys but low qualification rate
Toluna is definitively a reputable site. I am a member for over 4 years and was a member of their European panel before this time. I received several payments from them and never had any problems.
You have to be careful with the points though. Keep in mind 3000 equals $1. They often send 15-25 min surveys for just 1000-1500 points. That's a very low compensation for online surveys. I usually don't take any survey which is lower than 3000 points for a 15 min survey.
Another disadvantage at Toluna is that they don't seem to match the sent surveys with your demographic data you submitted with your basic profile. I get at least a few invites per day but just qualify for around 5% of the surveys. Qualification rates with other survey sites are much higher.
Xmas's comment on i-Say ...
Definitively one of the better online survey sites
I-Say is definitively one of the better online survey sites. I am a member for over 4 years now and never had any problem with the surveys or payments. For cash out I used check and PayPal and both worked fine.
Unfortunately, i-Say reduced their incentives per survey lately. They used to pay at least 150 points for each survey (15-30 min length) and 5 points, if you don't qualify. Now they also have surveys for just 50-100 points (same length as their 150 points surveys) and they give you just a sweepstakes ticket if you don't qualify for the survey. However, the whole industry lowered their incentives and i-Say is therefore still one of the better paying survey sites.
Xmas's comment on Varolo ...
Varolo has changed their payment structure
Hey there,
I am a Varolo member for 2 months now and like the program a lot.
One comment I have is that Varolo changed their earning structure a few months ago. In addition to the referral earnings the users now also earn from watching the videos themselves. As a user you get 21% of what Varolo makes with the video ads you watch. In the US, Varolo sells their ads for 2-3 cents. 21% are therefore around $05 for each video you watch yourself.
Another interesting feature are the achievement cards. You get them for different actions (like watching 140 videos in a week). They can be redeemed for direct referrals.
Cheers,
Xmas
