Did not appreciate the constant ads for upgrading on the site
While I'm sure being able to add your profile to a site can help, it's worthless to join a site that tries to nickel and dime you every click you make. I click on my profile, BAM an ad from the site asking to upgrade, I try to post a blog BAM! another ad to upgrade, I click the home page... it's all about upgrading. It's like you can't get away from it. I wouldn't bother with the upgrading as anyone will tell you, unless it's reaching your target market - not some kind of blanket marketing, then it's useless. With the blogs they tell you you can reach everyone, but I don't want to reach everyone because everyone includes my competitors. I really just saw a very controlled site run by people who are only interested in making a buck, this is my opinion. Though, I do have to mention that you can get banned from the site for no reason, but welcomed back IF you cough up the money to upgrade. I think I'll pass.
