lmc41472's comment on Courtney Tuttle ...
Court Is In Fact A DUDE!
I see only one person here that actually knows anything about Court because even looking in the "about" section of his website shows you pictures and information confirming that he is a guy.
With that aside, Court really does know what he is doing and provides some very valuable information on his site. I've read several of the posts he has made there and love his down to earth approach to presenting information. For me, I didn't feel intimidated so much reading IM information in this form and was able to easily understand everything he was saying. If nothing else, reading Court's posts is something good for any aspiring IM to do at least once a week. You just might learn a thing or two from the information he is offering his readers.
lmc41472's comment on Dave Ramsey ...
Dave Ramsey Knows His Stuff
I first heard about Dave Ramsey and Total Money Makeover from my dad and stepmom. They had bought the book and were beginning to follow the steps in order to bail themselves out of a hard financial spot. I was skeptical at first that his ideas would even work, but as I slowly watched the situation with my family get better I realized there might be something to it. I borrowed the book from them and read through everything. I've also frequented his website a lot, reading the small tidbits of information he provides there. Although I only recently started to incorporate his techniques, I can already see a difference in how I control my money as well as how I view it in general. Using behavior modification to get your finances on track is a wonderful idea that really works. Paying those small bills off first really does give you a sense of accomplishment, at least it has me anyway. If you are having financial struggles, Dave Ramsey is the guy to turn to.
lmc41472's comment on Twivert ...
No Ads For Those That Tweet
I signed up with Twivert quite a while back. Initially took me two weeks to even get registered because I kept getting errors on the registration page. I should have took that as a sign. After several attempts of contacting someone, with ZERO luck, I finally got my registration to go through so I could start tweeting for them. To date I have had nothing I could tweet to earn any money so I'm not sure if they just don't have the advertisers to offer or if something about my account is making it difficult. I did like that they had a 100 follower minimum before you could apply, but it means nothing if you don't get anything from them to tweet. 1 or 1000, you aren't able to reach out to anyone at all. Others may have had better luck with this program, but for me it's a complete F. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time here.
lmc41472's comment on Magpie ...
Good Idea, But Slow Earnings
I joined Magpie about a month ago after looking through a lot of different ways to earn money from my Twitter account. The concept seemed sound and I found a lot of good reviews on it so I thought I would give it a shot. I've not had any shortage of ads to post on my account, but what I have found is that the earnings are extremely slow. In my month with them I have only earned about 30 cents, averaging 3-4 cents per ad. Also, the ads are very misleading. The twitter post might mention something about reading, but the link will take you to a blog about industrial containers. I do like that the ads can be tagged so your followers know what they are however. I gave Magpie a C simply because I know the ads are there and I know they post to my account. If I ever reach payout I would probably change that rating to a B. For those with thousands of followers you could probably make money a lot quicker than I am too. It's something you might want to try if you want to make a little cash on the side from your Twitter account.
lmc41472's comment on John Chow ...
John Chow Rocks
I didn't get that interested in blogging until about a year or so ago, but John Chow's blog was one of the first places I heard about to find some useful information. I have to admit, when I first visited the site I was a bit overwhelmed with all the information he provides. I felt like it was something I would never be able to do. After paying a lot of attention to not just the blog posts, but also the comments that are left on his blog posts, I realized that he provides tips and information that just about anyone can utilize. I even give him credit for being the person to teach me about backlinking and I must say he explains well while also showing you how you can build your own backlinks as well. John Chow is definitely a man you want to follow whether you are a complete newbie to blogging or a seasoned veteran. Many of the bloggers I know look up to him and mimic a lot of his methods with great success.
lmc41472's comment on Earn Fast Cash With Google ...
Scam, Plain And Simple
Putting Google in the title of anything is sure to catch attention and this one caught mine. I was skeptical at first, but decided to go for it anyway. I wish I had listened to my first instinct, after the 7 day free trial it took me a long time to get them to cancel the membership so my credit card ended up getting charged quite a bit before I could get the charges to stop. The worst part, all the information given is stuff you could get online for free at hundreds of websites. Adwords is no big secret in this field. There's nothing more you can really say about this one other than it's a scam... avoid at all costs, it's not worth the time or money.
lmc41472's comment on Article Submit Auto ...
Same As All The Rest
I tried out Article Submit Auto for a while when I was in search of a good article submitter for drawing traffic to my niche blogs. I do like that they have the spinner and the submitter all in one, but I could get the same results from any of the numerous free sites... even without the spinner. While I did see some traffic from my articles, I still don't feel it warrants the fees asked for. I've actually had much better results on directory sites and I didn't need an article spinner for those either.
If you can afford it, try it out, you might be impressed. If you want to save yourself the cash, go find some of the free article directories... the result will be the same.
lmc41472's comment on Omar Martin ...
Such A Great Guy!
I heard about Omar Martin on a few of the forums I frequent and had to check things out for myself. It's truly amazing that he gives so much useful information away for absolutely no charge. I would gladly pay a reasonable amount for the information he provided. His site is the perfect place to start if you are a beginner and he even has a few things that the seasoned veteran can learn as well. The videos are wonderful and the products he suggests are even better. Overall, this is a guy who knows what he is doing and doesn't care to share it with others. Very much worth your time if you are interested in marketing.
lmc41472's comment on Copy Paste Systems ...
Over Priced and Over Hyped
Copy Paste Systems is way over priced consider what you get. None of the information that comes with the program is anything new and exciting. In fact, you could probably find it on a variety of other websites for absolutely nothing. Even though you are "copying and pasting" a lot of things to generate an income, there is still a lot of work involved. It all comes right back to the same ol' same ol' with article marketing and keyword research. Not something I would recommend. The upside, you can get your money back in 60 days after you see for yourself. Other than that, this was just like all the other systems out there.
lmc41472's comment on Traffic Bug ...
Traffic Bug - Not As Good As I Thought It Would Be
I tried out Traffic Bug on a free 45 day trial. At first I was impressed with all the videos the site has and how the whole process works. It seemed like a no fail way for me to boost rankings and draw in more traffic to my blogs. However, each day when I checked the site to see what had been submitted, I found that while the system was suppose to be working 24/7 to submit links and articles for me, in reality only a few were getting done each day. I saw very little as far as results go with this system, and at the end of the trial did not choose to buy in to further access. While it may work for some, it just didn't give me enough results to constitute spending any money on it.
lmc41472's comment on You Cubez ...
Too Confusing
I found You Cubez about a month ago through someones blog that I was reading. While the site looked pretty generic I took the bloggers word for the site and how it works and decided to sign up and try it out. After about a week of clicking and struggling to figure out how the whole thing worked I finally just gave up. It seems that most people here saw from the start it was mainly used for advertising, but to be honest the site was so confusing to me that I never even figured that much out before I gave up on it all. What time I was there, however, it didn't take very long to discover that the earning potential is extremely slow. Had I known it was better for the advertising end of things I probably would have never signed up. There were too many pop ups attached to every page and a lot of times when I visited the site it wasn't even function correctly.
Overall, I would say this is one I wouldn't really recommend. Things are far too confusing and unclear about the site and the earning potential is virtually non existent. As for the advertising side I can not say how effect it is because I don't know anything about that part.
lmc41472's comment on ChaCha ...
ChaCha Started Out As a Great Thing
I joined ChaCha back in 2007 soon after it was created and in the beginning it was one of the greatest ways to earn money online that I could find. I easily made $100+ in just a couple days with no problems.
Fast forward to the present and things at ChaCha are much different now. With the 3 separate Guide Roles you can choose different jobs that you would like to do, but computer generated answers have cut way back on the amount of questions you receive. The traffic also tends to have dropped off quite a bit since those original days.
I know SMS Guides that are barely breaking $1 a day in earnings. And that is working all day just to get that.
They pay scale has dropped several times over the past few years as well leaving most Guides unhappy, but I suppose everyone finally adjusted and lived with it.
There is never an issue getting paid. On the rare occasion you didn't receive your money as promised you can email them and they will quickly remedy the solution.
While they don't offer Paypal as an option you can choose a monthly payout once a month to your bank account or get a FIB account so you can choose payout when ever you like, no matter the amount. The downside to the FIB option is the $2 fee per transaction that is charged using this method.
Overall, ChaCha is a pretty descent work at home job and I do know people that earn upwards of $1000 per month this way because they use it as a full time job. For me their just isn't enough traffic to earn this type of money without being online all day long, which I don't have time to do. It is, however, a pretty easy way to make a few extra dollars while your online.
lmc41472's comment on Trek Pay ...
Trek Pay is Great!
I only heard about Trek Pay about 2-3 months ago, but I'm glad I did. I don't normally spend any time with these types of programs because I have learned the hard way in the past you can't earn anything.
With Trek Pay it's a whole different story. It was really easy to sign up. In fact, I was signed up and ready to go in just a few short minutes.
I never use referrals for things like this, so the earnings are all up to me, but with Trek Pay it's really easy.
There are always at least 15 sites to view each day, sometimes even more. There is no timer either, so that is even better.
There have been weeks that went by when I didn't have time to view any sites, but every week when the email comes out that payments have been updated I always see an increase in earnings.
I haven't reached the $5.50 payout yet, but I have all the confidence in the world I will receive it.
Overall, Trek Pay is a great program. Easy to navigate and doesn't require to much of your time. I love it!
lmc41472's comment on Opinion Outpost ...
One of The Better Ones
I've been with Opinion Outpost about 2 years and in that time I have never been disappointed with anything they offered.
Initially when I first signed up it did take about 2 months before I started getting any survey invitations, but once they started coming they just haven't stopped. On any given day I will find at least one, if not more, invitations in my inbox.
I love their newest addition of Amazon payments and this is how I usually take my earnings from them. I do wish they offered PayPal, but in my personal experience it has never taken more than 2 weeks to get my earnings after requesting a check.
I would recommend Opinion Outpost to anyone that likes taking surveys. To me, they are one of the better ones out there.
lmc41472's comment on YouData ...
Unique Concept
I had heard about YouData for quite some time, but was unable to sign up because of the requirement of a cell phone (I'm not that trusting). A few months ago I came back across the site after hearing a lot of talk in a forum about the site, so I gave in and signed up.
My first few weeks I averaged about $3, but as of recently the amount of ads to click on has become less and less. I assume this is because of a lack of advertisements at the time, and I'm hoping things do pick back up.
While I don't have any referrals, I have heard from others that I know that with a few referrals you can make pretty good money each week considering the little bit of work you need to do.
YouData has paid out on time for me every time so I have no complaints other then the lack of ads lately. I have faith this will change soon though and all the ads available before will be there again.
I do recommend anyone looking for an extra few bucks each week, with out a lot of work, to sign up. It's great!
lmc41472's comment on Harvey Segal ...
Ahhh It's Okay!
I just finished reading Harvey's Ultimate Supertips and I can say that I wasn't impressed. The same viral concept he raved about for 38 pages can be found in other sources all over the internet with less reading involved. I have tried this concept in the past but with no real results. Maybe I am just growing bored sifting through all the ebook pages of software and programs being pushed to grasp his real concept. He seems like he has built a great marketing product for himself, but sadly not one I will benefit from. Hope others have had much more luck with his concepts.
lmc41472's comment on LinkReferral ...
I Love LinkReferral!
I only heard about LinkReferral a few days ago, but since recently starting some new sites that need traffic, I decided to try them out. Within about an hour I was already getting hits to my pages and all it took was about 30 minutes on the site on my part. I am really impressed. This is by far the only traffic exchange I have ever used that gives results so fast. I'll be using LR to drive traffic to all my sites from now on!
lmc41472's comment on Smorty ...
No Work For This Blogger
Smorty was one of the many sites I tried while trying to earn some extra money from my blogging. I had read quite a bit about the site and thought it would be the perfect platform for some spending money, but turns out I was dead wrong. I messed with the site for quite some time (around 6 months) and not in that entire time was I ever able to earn a penny. I was only willing to blog about things related to the theme of my blog (I wanted it to look natural), but there were never any opportunities to do that. I finally gave up on the service after wasting all those months there in hopes.
Smorty might work great for some, if they have the right niche, but for me personally it was a huge let down.
lmc41472's comment on Greenfield Online ...
Not The Same
It has been some years ago since I first joined Greenfield Online, back when almost every survey they offered paid cash. Somewhere along the way they started leaning more toward the majority of their surveys being for sweepstakes entries which does not interest me in the slightest. I still have my membership, and on rare occasions I do stop by to see what is being offered, but it has been several years since I received any cash incentive from GO. Most of their surveys are pretty simple, but you will encounter some that are extremely long and boring. This is what makes taking them for a sweeps entry kind of a put off. I think in total I probably have received about $20 from GO through the years. It always took about 6 weeks for the checks to arrive.
This is an okay survey site but not well suited for those who take surveys for extra cash.
lmc41472's comment on Niche Blogger ...
Amy Bass Knows Here Stuff
I first learned about Amy Bass when I came across her blog a few years ago. It was in its beginning stage then and I admit I had doubts she could pull off her goals. In less then 2 years she paid off over $72,000 in debt doing nothing but online work. Amy is a very down to earth person and loves helping others by providing them with the information she learned along her adventure. Every suggestion Amy has ever given me has worked out just as she said it would. I agree that Niche Blogger helps beginners more then anyone else. She has a way of teaching concepts to those who are not familiar with the industry. I would recommend reading through her blog before signing up for the site, it will give you a good idea about how passionate she is about niche blogging and how much she cares for people.
lmc41472's comment on Survey Savvy ...
Pretty Good Site
I have been with Survey Savvy for a while now and get Survey invitations at least 3 to 4 times per week. The surveys do generally pay quite well as compared to other sites, but qualifying can sometimes be a pain. At least for me anyway. This is usually do to demographics and people in other areas I have heard do rather well with qualifying.
Survey Savvy pays on time, every time, but it can take about 4 or more weeks. This is fast considering some take as much as 8 weeks to mail a check.
Customer service can be a little slow at responding, but this is probably due to the volume of emails they receive each day. They do get back to you eventually though.
I would recommend this site to anyone that is in to taking surveys. It's a great way to make a few extra bucks here and there along the way.
lmc41472's comment on Jills Click Corner ...
Shady Practices
Jill's Click Corner was among the first of the PTC sites I joined. I was determined with my clicking for a long time. Then I went through a period with no internet connection. When I was back online I started reconnecting with all my old PTC hangouts, but once I got to JCC I was told I would now have to verify my telephone number to continue using the site. That was fine by me, it's a common practice these days. I entered my number and requested the call. In about a minute I got the call giving me the code to enter on the website for verification and entered it on the site. Now I know I entered the correct code because I wrote it down and listened to it being read 2 times by the automated system, but according to JCC I entered an invalid code and my account was put under review. That has been some time ago and even now if I go to the site and attempt to log in I am refused and told the account is being reviewed. I lost all the earnings I had accumulated before then because I am now locked out of my account. Customer service has been unresponsive to date. Boo!
lmc41472's comment on Isabel Marco's Money Maker ...
Not What It Once Was
I joined IMMM when it was first created, back then free members could actually earn a few cents for clicking on ads. In the beginning there were lots of ads every day and because it was new there were plenty of referrals to grab to build your downline.
I lost interest with the site when all the porno ads started being added to click on. If you didn't click those each day there were only about 3-4 other types of ads to view.
I never received a payment from IMMM, but do have friends that received a few dollars and they all have payment proofs.
I'm not sure when the site switched over to the ad credits for free members, but it seems to be a pretty good addition and helpful for those in marketing.
I gave the site a D because of the lack of earning potential for free members now and all the pornographic ads I once endured.
This site is not what it used to be.
lmc41472's comment on Crazy Egg ...
Crazy Egg Was Great!
When I first got serious about my blogging and decided to do something with it other then use it for a hobby, I came across Crazy Egg. What I loved about the website was how easy it was to use and understand even for those of us that haven't been in to the "traffic" game for very long. I was able to quickly learn my way around the site and figure out what I needed to do. It did help me plan the best places for my ads and the heat map feature I felt was awesome. Overall, I would recommend this useful tool to anyone looking to improve upon their website.
lmc41472's comment on Survey Spot ...
Survey Spot Was Great At First
Online surveys were what first got me interested in earning money online. I went through many scams to find a legitimate few and Survey Spot was one of the better ones I found.
It took me about 3 months to earn $20 to cash out with because a lot of the surveys offered were for sweepstakes entries or I just didn't qualify.
After I finally got my payout the number of money based incentive surveys from the site became non existent. I'm still a member, but it has been well over a year since I have seen a survey offering more then an entry. There are sometimes weeks that go by that I don't have any surveys available at all.
Now this all could just be from the fact that I am just not matching any profiles based on the information I gave and others may have had far better luck with them they I have. After all, this is only my own personal experience.
lmc41472's comment on Constant Content ...
Contant Content Works Best For The Season Writer
When I was a newbie in the freelance writing world I stumbled across Constant Content and eagerly signed up thinking it would be some easy pocket money.
While the concept of this website is great and the ability to make a fair amount of money is highly possible, you can't take this writing gig for granted.
To be most effective in the community you need to publish lots and lots of content. I myself hardly ever posted anything and therefore I did not earn any money at all from the site. I did see a lot of other authors that were making a pretty good chunk of change each month, but only because they were publishing a lot of content.
I would recommend Constant Content for more seasoned writers who have developed their writing skills and can produce a fair amount of daily content. There are a lot of people looking for quality articles on the site and if you stick with it and build up your reputation it can work out quite well for you.
lmc41472's comment on Pay Per Post ...
Ex User of PPP
When I first got interested in blogging I used PPP to earn a little extra cash. Overall it was a pretty good service, but I quickly lost interest. It is something that any blogger looking to earn revenue should probably look in to at some point. Great for beginners in my opinion.
lmc41472's comment on ReviewMe ...
ReviewMe Is Not For Small Timers
I have always been a small scale blogger but just like everyone else I wanted to earn something for all the hard work I put in. I gave ReviewMe a go a few years ago and learned quickly that being small in a pool of bigger fish was not going to earn me anything. I gave up on this one rather quickly once I realized that fact. It did seem like a great earning opportunity in all, but only if you have a more established blog then most.
lmc41472's comment on Blogsvertise ...
Blogvertise Just Wasn't For Me
When I got into the blogging game I searched for all kinds of ways to earn money from my blog. Blogvertise was one of the first I came across and being naturally curious I gave it a try. I must say that I was not impressed in the least. What little bit I earned from the site was not enough to keep me coming back and it took about 3 months before I even saw my meager earnings. I had actually forgotten about it until it showed up in my Paypal account one day. This service may work well for some bloggers, but it didn't for me.
lmc41472's comment on Text Broker ...
Text Broker Is Great
I started writing for Text Broker about 3 months ago. At first I was skeptical because I couldn't find a lot of information about the site but after my first payout in just 3 days my mind was put at ease. I've received 4 payouts from the site since joining as a writer and love that they pay out every 2 weeks straight to your Paypal. Payout is usually made within 24 hours of the deadline twice per month. For the amateur freelance writer this site is a great start for some extra cash each month.
lmc41472's comment on Freelancer ...
Some Don't Pay
I learned about GAF about 3 years ago when I got interested in the freelance business so I eagerly signed up. Before leaving the site I did around 6 different jobs for people only 1 of which actually paid me. One specific job required a months worth of work and a lot of my free time to get the job done right and after everything was submitted I was completely ignored when I enquired about pay. 1 out of 6 was not a good enough track record for me to stick around to see if things got better.
