rye's comment on Bruce Clay ...
Definitely an SEO guru
I try to search and learn as much as I can about SEO things and I happen to browse upon the name Bruce Clay. I saw his Search Engine Optimization for Dummies ebook, and though some of the words or terms there are still new to me, over all it has been a great help on building my website. His keywords research and selection, landing page guidelines really are a must to learn. Learning all these things makes me more confident with my website. There are definitely other internet marketing gurus but he is one of the best, I must say.
rye's comment on PeopleString ...
Mostly for networking
I have been a member of People String for almost six months now. I was invited by a fellow blogger at the forum I frequent. We were positive at that time that it would be an easy cash with $0.50 per referral and potential cash mails. But it was very difficult to get a referrals, I only got 4 since most on my network already signed in. And the paid emails never seem to reach my mail box.
What I like at People String on the other hand is the network of internet marketers that are always promoting new earning sites, of course it depends on you if you join it or not.
rye's comment on SocialSpark ...
Writing opps for bloggers
Social Spark is another pay to blog site for bloggers, I recently joined in after some nudge from an online friend. It is easy to register and not much requirement except to post in your blog some randomly generated phrase. After the sign up procedure I immediately had my first writing opportunity worth $5 for a 200 words article. I finished it within 5 minutes but since it was my first time it was rejected several times, why? It was definitely not because of the article but because of the codes or links required. Then there should be no ads in between and articles before and after should be this and that. There is too much ado for such a small fee. I guess I don’t have a choice but to give in. I just hope I could get opportunities with a higher rate next time.
rye's comment on Webs ...
It's free so
I tried Webs several months back. I signed in as free member and immediately started generating my first webs.com site. I am no pro in website building, much more into html and css codes, but I was able to set it up with some guidance from their customer support. So my web.com site is running, but since it is just a free service there are some limitations and hassles. First the theme/lay out is limited, then there’s the ads and downtimes. I guess those are expected, if not, no one will pay to upgrade. I haven’t upgraded though, I am still weighing my options.
rye's comment on Yola ...
Pretty good service
I have my own hosting facilities but since Yola offered a free service so I signed in. Compared to the current one I am using, Yola did have a simple and easy to use interface and quick customer support. I had one Yola site and it is doing well I must say, so I plan to set up more in the future. Though of course like any free hosting facilities, you are limited to monetizing your website. Still more advertisers prefer own domain and self hosted sites. I haven’t tried the paid service yet, maybe I’ll consider it once my current one expires.
Overall, I think Yola’s free web hosting facility is great!
rye's comment on Followe.rs ...
Not for me, I guess
I tried Followe.rs a few months back, with its $1 trial version hoping to get more followers. I did get a few, so I upgraded for a month, then canceled it altogether. Yes, I did get a desirable amount of followers within that month, but the $37 monthly fee is hard to recover even if you put your twitter account on auto pilot. I reverted back to my previous twitter program which cost less and generated more income.
In the end, I didn’t recover my investment so I decided to cancel. Some followers were retained but most unfollowed me after my cancellation. I was expecting that though.
rye's comment on SBI! eLearning ...
A great program
I first subscribed with Site Build It with the free trial and eventually upgraded. I did some research first and got positive feedback on the internet and some online friends who are also affiliates. Dr. Ken Envoy is very supportive through the entire process of building my own affiliate site. I constantly ask advice through his forum and got ideas not just from him but other members as well. It is like a continuous learning experience with all those updates given to us members.
I am confident that my site will be earning soon, as with the other guys who signed up with Site Build It.
rye's comment on Ken Evoy ...
A nice guy
I was introduced to Dr Ken Envoy by an online friend when I was asking around about affiliate marketing. True enough, everything you need to know about affiliate marketing can be found or answered in his forum. What’s better is he himself participates and answers through the said forum. I signed in with Site Build It and it really does work. The set-up is a little bit complicated, but if you follow the step by step instructions properly you would definitely come up with a great site. Along the process of building my affiliate site I use to consult with Dr Ken Envoy through the forum and he doesn’t hesitate to answer back. A nice guy indeed.
rye's comment on Artisteer ...
Try it for yourself
I find Artisteer very helpful in my site lay-outs. I started with the free membership then later on upgraded because I love the product so much! I can create a new lay-out in just minutes with the help of Artisteer. I am not a techie person so those html codes are like algebraic equations to me, but with this program it is as easy as 1-2-3. The resulting lay-out is like the work of a professional web designer. Now I change my lay-out as often as I want.
I recommend Artisteer to newbie or seasoned bloggers, this is definitely a must program.
rye's comment on Earners Unite ...
Upgrade to avail of the benefits
I joined Earners Unite when they were just starting out. They had a very good business and marketing plan and I really believed at that time that I would earn a lot from here. I joined Earners Unite as a free member and religiously clicked those emails sent to me, sometimes I even joined other sites they are promoting. After some time, I learned that in order to earn here you have to upgrade to premium member which costs $97. Although there were testimonials that they were already paid, I did not upgrade and stopped altogether. They should explain clearly at the beginning so that members wouldn’t raise their hope.
rye's comment on Joel Comm ...
Generous and Great Guy
I first learned about Joel Comm on the show The Next Internet Millionaire which he was the host of. He was really knowledgeable in internet marketing with special emphasis on Google Adsense. I have subscribed to his RSS feeds for free, so I am kind of updated on his projects. I never bought any of his ebooks yet, but I have learned a lot from those free updates. I perceive Joel Comm as a very generous person ever willing to help those who want to succeed in the internet marketing arena. With that attitude, he will definitely stay on top of his league.
rye's comment on Youtube Traffic System ...
Great program
I have always been a Youtube fan, watching and uploading videos that is. But I never imagined I could actually earn from my Youtube videos. Then I’ve heard of YouTube Traffic System and was amazed with its possibilities. Thus I joined in, and everything they claimed is true. The step by step process is really easy, even a newbie like me could catch up. I then uploaded an old video which been there for months now, and I got immediate results. My video was in the first page the next day I checked it. The next thing I did is to link it with my site. I generate additional traffic both to my Youtube videos and my site. Isn’t that great?
rye's comment on TrafficTaxis ...
Less time surfing
I have joined a lot of traffic exchange sites by now, and Traffic Taxi is one of them. I have been with Traffic Taxi for almost a year now. It offers 3:1 surf ratio, quite the usual offer for a free member, but what I like here at Traffic Taxi is their surf timer which is only 6 seconds. Thus my surfing time here doesn’t take that long.
Performance wise, it really delivers traffic back to my site, though not all are quality ones. That is expected when you join manual traffic exchange sites, so I don’t really expect much. I have several referrals that add up to my surf credits.
rye's comment on Cash 4 Clicking PTC ...
Confusing at first
I joined this site hoping to get decent online income, but I was wrong. Yes, you earn cash when you click ads or read emails, but you cannot request for pay-out. Actually, when I checked out the TOS later, it was said that you will be banned for asking for a pay-out. What kind of site is this? But then those accumulated amount can be converted to banner ads which I did and got decent traffic back to my site.
It was not a waste after all but they should be very clear from the start that there will never be any payment so as not to confuse the members.
rye's comment on Jim Cockrum ...
A Great Guy
I got interested with Jim Cockrum upon reading a post on his newsletter Creative Ebay Selling, from then on I subscribed to his free newsletter and bought a copy of his ebook The Silent Sales Machine Hiding on Ebay. His way of writing will make anyone fired up or get motivated to pursue you online shop. I am slowly working on my own Ebay storefront, following the guidelines set-up in his book.
He also gave one on one coaching at MySilentTeam but never got to register yet, I will once I’ve fully set-up my site. Jim Cockrum is definitely the master of Ebay.
rye's comment on Twitter Tycoon ...
Worth your money
I got positive feedback from my online friends who used Twitter Tycoon thus I got interested and decided to register too. That was 2 weeks ago, but mind you I got more hits in that 2 week period than my 6 month membership with Twitter alone. The $27 membership fee is nothing compared to possible income that I could get out of it. I’m sure I will be able to accrue my initial investment within a month.
The set up process is really a breeze. It is user-friendly and I got freebies along with it. This program is really worth your time and money.
rye's comment on Net Success Formula ...
My Success Formula
This was definitely a great deal for only 99 cents you get to access vast amount of internet marketing information from the guru himself Glen Hopkins. Aside from the modules, there is the four live Question & Answer sessions and you can refer a friend as an accountability partner for free. I really learned a lot from this program. All those step by step instructions made me understand those technical terms easily. Not to mention that the forum or their membership area have great members really willing to help one another.
This is one program that I’ll never regret enrolling or registering into.
rye's comment on Bum Marketing ...
Great program and it's free
I was introduced to Bum Marketing Program by an online friend I was told it is absolutely free. At first I couldn’t believe that it is really free, there must be a catch to acquire this great program. But months past and still I was not asked to pay or buy anything.
The step by step procedure is very easy to follow. I’ve written several articles and this has really made a difference on my ad impressions and clicks. It is definitely a great program, not to mention that it is free.
rye's comment on Top Article Directories ...
Practical guide to article marketing
I chance upon this ebook while I was looking on the topic article marketing. For as little as $15, I got this amazing ebook tutorial that guides newbie like me on what should and not be done to market my articles or to drive traffic to my site. It got a list of the top directories to submit my articles and ways to drive traffic to your sites. From the time I implemented those techniques I can see a big leap on my traffic and even got article writing invitations. Then there are bonuses that even make it the most practical purchase I had.
rye's comment on Buy Hits Cheap ...
A total waste of money
I was tempted to avail of Buy Hits Cheap’s traffic pack because it is indeed cheap compared to other sites. I initially bought the General Traffic of 10,000 unique hits for $12. I just had my site up then and needed those hits badly. Little did I know that’s why it is cheap is that it does not deliver the declared unique hits but rather just a portion of it. I think I just got a thousand unique hits, and when I sent a ticket but I didn’t get any response at all. What a total waste of money! Don’t even bother to consider buying hits here.
rye's comment on Facebook Social Ads ...
Tap those Facebook traffic
I never thought that I could also tap the market of social networking sites particularly Facebook and turn those into traffic and sales. Good thing I got hold of this Facebook Social Ads, for as little as $10, I had access to the tips and tricks of setting up ads at Facebook. It has step by step guide that even a newbie like me could follow. I was able to create an ad and uploaded it in a few hours (I think you could do better).
This program greatly increased my traffic and even sales on my site. This is definitely worth your money.
rye's comment on Article Bot ...
Impressive program
Article Bot is really impressive! I purchased the article spinning program for $50 and now I am reaping the rewards. From just one original article I can now create multiple articles or entries that can pass as a different one. Which is great, sometimes no matter how hard you try you get writer block. Though I still proof read the articles before I post it or submit to other sites. That’s because I had a bad experience with another article spinning program. Just to be on the safe side.
In general, my experience with Article Bot is nothing but great and the one time purchase price is really worth it.
rye's comment on Dave Ramsey ...
Financial Freedom
I’ve learned a lot from Dave Ramsey just by reading his book The Total Money Makeover. A great financial guru, he made his teachings sounds so simple and convincing that you want to start it immediately. He describes the journey to financial freedom in seven steps, and each step is really an eye opener. I may not be able to follow all of those, but at least I was able to set up the emergency fund which he really stressed as a must. So basically I am still at the first step but will continue to work on the next steps. Glad someone like Dave Ramsey is willing to share his knowledge and continue to inspire people to work on their financial freedom.
rye's comment on Zoomerang ...
A great survey program
I signed up with Zoomerang 2 months ago as a free member. The registration per se is very easy and so was the actual creation of the survey. They have available templates that can be used as is or revised as per the members’ preference. Within minutes I was able to create my first survey and uploaded it in my website.
Within 24 hours, I was able to generate the 100 responses and was able to gauge in my viewers interests which I used to improve my site. Not only did it make my viewers interactive, it also increased the time they spent on my site which is my main purpose.
Zoomerang is really recommended, even the free member features.
rye's comment on BuxifY ...
Legit PTC site
I joined this site a few months back and upgraded iron level so I had to pay $10. But with the $5 sign in bonus and some referrals, I was able to make $15 after a month. The earning may be a little bit low, but at least this PTC site is legit. I did upgrade for a few months, but not anymore since I don’t have much time to spare. But I still get commissions from my referrals who continued to upgrade. I really like that part.
Overall, I must say that Buxify really delivers what it promised to the members.
rye's comment on Chris Farrell Membership ...
Worth you time and money
I only joined Chris Farrell Membership 2 weeks back upon reading the remarkable comments here at IMRC. And true enough his site contains lots of useful stuff, from instructional videos to ebooks to everything you need to know in order to succeed in this field. The forum is a great place to share success stories and ask questions. The members are all willing to help and even Chris himself answers almost instantly.
For this span of two weeks my knowledge in internet marketing has greatly improved and all thanks to Chris Farrel and his Membership Site. My initial membership plan of $5 for 14 days already expired but I continued to pay the $27 per month fee. It is really worth it!
rye's comment on Bloggerwave ...
No opportunities
I joined Bloggerwave around 6 months back while trying to look for ways to monetize my blog. It was easy to get registered and I immediately got an assignment, and that was about Bloggearwave per se. So I post about it and got paid. I’ve waited for new assignments for months, but didn’t get any. I tried to ask the admin for some reason, but didn’t get response either.
I believe it is a legit site, but members are confused because they give no explanation whether my blog is still qualified or not. I already stopped checking my account because it just frustrates me.
rye's comment on NoMoneySystem ...
Great package
I was quite hesitant at first to shelve out 197 bucks, but when I think of all those videos, I believe it was worth it. For as little as $7 per video, I believe it was worth it.
It has info about clickbank, squidoo, hubpage, bookmarking, ping and a lot more. Though some of the items are readily available on the net for free, here you have the complete step by step process. I don’t regret purchasing the program since it really helps me with setting up my affiliate programs.
rye's comment on StartXchange ...
Average TE site
Start Xchange is a so-so manual traffic exchange. I joined in a couple of months back but I don’t surf on a daily basis. Since I don’t have enough free time, I try to schedule all my other traffic exchange sites.
For me the 3:1 surf ratio is quite acceptable for a free member and they do deliver the promised traffic to your site. You can also earn cash if you referred someone and he upgraded as paid member, though I haven’t got any referral of that sort. Only downside is that is not Adsense friendly so I just use SX to my other sites.
rye's comment on Adsense Click Protector ...
Really worth your money
For the longest time I was very careful, even fearful, with my Adsense account being banned. Imagine all those efforts to increase my traffic and improve my tags will just go to waste instantly if someone accidentally or intentionally clicked my ads too much. That happened to an online buddy and she cannot dispute Adsense decision to ban her account.
Good thing I saw this Adsense Click Protector. Now I feel at ease using this software and never have any problems. It’s always better to be safe than sorry. And aside from the security, there are valuable inputs from Mike Steup to further increase your traffic and clicks on your site. The $27 I paid is really worth it!
rye's comment on Pureprofile ...
Legit but slow survey site
I had been a member of Pure Profile for more than six months. You have to go through several profile surveys and carefully answer each question. Then you have to wait for survey offers. The first step I didn’t mind, I had joined several survey sites and all of them had lengthy questionnaire. But about the waiting period, the survey offers are too few and far in between. Maybe because of demographics, they had little opportunities for us. Well, still I stayed and answered those few surveys they sent me. I am still waiting for a few more to reach the minimum pay-out then I’ll decide if I will continue or not.
rye's comment on Nominimumbux ...
Don't bother
This is the first PTC site which offers no minimum cash out, which would be great if the promise was true. I got lured by the name and the offer of Nominimumbux, so I joined immediately. I got tired of trying to reach the set up cash out rate, so this will be a breath of fresh air. And that was what I thought.
I surfed a few ads, but since I don’t want to cash out just any amount, I let it accumulate to $0.50 (it took me a week). And when I requested cash out they claimed that I am not yet eligible and the minimum cash out amount is $3. I am totally pissed off and decided to stop my surfing all together. Later on I learned that they don’t even pay those who reached the minimum cash out amount.
rye's comment on How to Start a Forum ...
How I Start My Own Forum
This product is definitely helpful for a newbie like me. I had tried making forums using free sites, but it sucks and I didn’t get the results I wanted. And then I landed to this page on How to Start Your Own Forum, and a lot of proofs that it really worked out. I shelved in $40 and got started. It only took me a few days to learn the tricks and start my own forum. It also teaches the proper techniques on placement of ads and labeling or tagging, in order for your forum to generate income. Now I had several forums and all thanks to Michael Green and his How To products.
rye's comment on Steve Johns ...
Steve Johns sure makes the sales
Before I purchase anything on the net, I research around first. And I did find that Steve Johns is quite known for his ebooks on Internet Marketing, particularly on reselling. And I found that there was this promotion that sells his 22 ebooks for only $17. I had to grab the opportunity, so one ebook would costs me less than a dollar. Later on while reading one of his ebooks, I learned that in order to really sell you have to put some urgency on your sales ad. I was guilty of that, but it was not a bad experience because it means that his methods are effective.
Steve Johns also personally answers all the queries on his site, I know because he did respond to my email almost instantly. A great after sales service.
rye's comment on Jetspinner ...
Not recommended
I already bought my Magic Article Rewriter when I saw the ad for JetSpinner. They offer a free trial so I tried it myself. The set-up was quite complicated, there is too many ads and I was always led to another site. When I found the program I had to key in a lot of information. It did produce a few coherent articles, but some were a total waste. So overall, it was not worth the $17 per month subscription, even if it was coupled with JetSubmitter. Good thing there was a trial so that we can first try it out. I will just stick to my previous article rewriter.
rye's comment on Farm Traffic ...
An average TE site
I registered with Farm Traffic to check what is all the hype about. I guess it was just about the name and nothing more.
But I didn’t regret joining in, it does deliver what it was intended to do, and that is to generate more traffic to your site. The surf ratio of 3:1 is normal to begin with, for a free member that is. If you want a better surf ratio then you have to upgrade to paid membership. You get credits upon surfing and those credits can be converted to ad or banner impressions. The only difference maybe is that these credits cannot be converted to cash. So in a way, this is just an average traffic exchange site.
rye's comment on POG ADS ...
A real Pot of Gold
I initially registered one site to POG ADS, I wanted to compare it first with my other sites which I had Adsense. Not only is it an alternative to Adsense, it is also compatible with it. But after only a few months with POG ADS I am planning to use it on all of my sites and totally remove Adsense.
Why? First, it is not restricting, any site can be accepted and it is not in conflict with other ad services or traffic exchange sites. I can now add ads and participate on traffic exchange sites without the fear of getting banned. Second, it offers more ad formats, thus can generate more clicks. Third, you have full control over the ads placed on your site. The design, placement and the amount of ads can be changed to suit my lay-out. Fourth, there is an option of revenue sharing, though I don’t use it at the moment. Fifth, the ad rotation option guarantees more ads impression and maximum profitability. Need I say more?
rye's comment on My Free Text Ads ...
Really free ads
I was skeptical first when I joined in My Free Text Ads, in almost all the traffic exchange sites I’ve joined there is a fee to be able to place your ads. But here you can immediately place your ads within the site with the 1,000 bonus points received upon signing in. Then you just have to click other ads to earn credits. Within two months I was able to upgrade to pro membership without paying a single cent! I just have to accumulate 35,000 points to do so. With the pro membership, I got more conversion from the ads I view. And I can place my ads on a daily basis. With this site my traffic increased significantly.
rye's comment on eCa.sh ...
Nice way to advertise
I just registered to this site a few weeks back. I like their idea of shortening the URL, in a way it makes the viewer curious and click the link. I noticed that my affiliate site got more clicks and traffic since using these shortened URLs. And another great thing about eCa.sh is that you can earn real cash when you refer to the system or when a visitor avails of their products offered. All those benefits you get even as a free member.
Though I haven’t really earned anything from eCa.sh, their program of shortening the URL is enough for me to stay.
rye's comment on PyraBang ...
Still testing the waters
I took me awhile to register to PyraBang because I couldn’t understand what the site is really promoting. I first saw it at a PTC site, Trek Pay, although I used to surf the site on a daily basis, it did not catch my attention. Not until an online buddy testified that she received payment from PyraBang and all she did was post some articles.
So I joined in, but learned that in order to profit from it you have to pay the $5.95 monthly subscription fee. Well I did pay, and then submitted some articles. True enough I was paid $6.25 for my first month. Sure I did recover my initial investment but earned just a few cents. I am on my second month and hopefully I’ll earn more this time.
rye's comment on Membership Sites for Newbies ...
Worthy investment
Having your own paid membership site is really a great idea but I think I am not yet ready for this thing. I am still a newbie in this internet marketing thing, and my knowledge is quite limited. When I saw this ebook and with all the positive reviews I immediately subscribed, even with the $47 fee. I believe it was worth it. Mike Filsaime is really a great mentor, starting from the basics that even a newbie like me could understand. I have started with this ebook marketing or selling, and was quite surprised to be able to sell some on my site, just by following his leads. My next target is to set-up my own paid membership site.
rye's comment on ...
Not that EZ
This is definitely a legit site, but as other networking or MLM businesses you need to put in your money and efforts to make it successful. Though the registration is only $10, still it is very difficult to market it with my online friends. They were skeptical and to the point of being negative simply because it is an MLM site. I don’t blame them, with all those pyramid scams, who wouldn’t?
For me, I was able to complete the cycle and carried to the next program but never did get passed that second one. Though I am still waiting, maybe I could still find some referrals, hopefully soon.
rye's comment on Traffic Now Fire ...
Try it for yourself
I joined Traffic Now Fire with not much expectation, but I was wrong. I was quite amazed at how easy it is to navigate the site and how I could easily gain points or credits. Not the usual clicking of ads but here you click the links and then vote for it, both activities give you credits. Those credits I can exchange with banner ads or links to my site. There is also an option to convert into cash but I never considered that because of the low conversion rate. As a free member, I am quite happy with the amount of traffic I get with Traffic Now Fire.
rye's comment on Magic Article Rewriter ...
A great find
This really is a great find, it saves time and energy for a blogger like me to write articles and then to rewrite them. Using this software, I can now write one article then wait for it to be rewritten in a few minutes. Now the number of articles depends on your choice, I can have 5 or more new articles, which means that I can submit those in different sites without the fear of duplicity. And when I purchased the Rewriter it was paired with Submitter for only $80, that was really a bargain.
But since it is just a program or software, I still need to check the rewritten article for comprehension problems and if the content is still what I intended.
rye's comment on ReviewMe ...
Used to be a great site
I had good experience with Review Me. When I joined in a year ago my blog was fairly new, but I got several offers and got paid writing reviews. But as new members got in, the competition gets tougher, the advertisers have more blogs to choose from. I also noticed that as the offer declines, so does the pay. Now I seldom get offers and most of the time the pay is too low. Advertisers must notice that even if the offer is low still some blogger will accept it. Review Me admin should step up and do something as to standardize the prize per review, to be fair for both the advertiser and reviewer.
rye's comment on Mark Mason ...
Definitely an IM Guru
I can truly say Mark Mason is great! I’ve subscribed to his free newsletter and been receiving regular emails from him. Not to mention that I automatically can access the free member download area. Here there are several ebooks that can be accessed or downloaded for free. Isn’t that great? I specifically love the Join the Club and Article Writing Secrets. And you can always visit his blog for more updates.
Though from time to time you can get offers for a fee but it is still your option to do so, and since it is endorsed by Mark mason you can be sure your money is worth it.
rye's comment on Michel Fortin ...
Gotta have his books
My first encounter with Michel Fortin was when I got a copy of Unlock Your Profits from a friend. The copy writing system is really useful, even with a newbie like me. It is not that elaborate and easy to follow. Thus I searched for the author, which is Michel Fortin, and found his other books. I bought a copy of Success Chef and In Your PJ’s (which is actually Sylvie’s work) and once I got those I was automatically on the email list of Michel/Sylvie. With those 3 books I can say I’ve learned a lot and applied most of it to my site. Much as I love those books, I also love his blog where I can read the latest trend on internet marketing.
rye's comment on HitsBoosterPro ...
Recommended traffic exchange site
I’ve joined several traffic exchange sites and HitsBoosterPro is definitely is one of the best. Though you do need to surf a hundred sites, it just takes less than 15 minutes to do that. And I never had a problem with surfing credits and downtime, unlike with other sites.
They had great promos like the booster where you get double credits and the weekly raffle. Those credits are converted to views/clicks for your site, therefore the more credits you have the more traffic you generate. You can also get cash rebates when your referral upgraded to paid membership. The free membership is already enough for me for the meantime.
rye's comment on Webgains ...
Great opportunity
I am fairly new to Webgains but I am already enjoying the tremendous amount of traffic on my sites. I joined in as an Affiliate member two weeks back, and it just took several minutes to register. Using keywords as a guide, I installed the banners supplied for my site. I can see that the Merchants who signed up are well developed businesses, meaning Webgains already has a great reputation.
Though I just got a few clicks on my banners and no earnings at all, my traffic suddenly boomed, so I think that is enough to be thankful for, for a free member like me.
rye's comment on Alex Perez-Prat ...
Free Internet Marketing info
I am always on the look out on how to improve my internet marketing knowledge. And Alex Perez-Prat’s blogs and programs are always a nice source and most importantly it is free and readily available to a newbie like me. I subscribed to his RSS feed so that I will not miss any of his new posts.
His manner of writing is simple and can be easily understood. And his knowledge in internet marketing I could say is vast, and he shares it to the public as much as possible. Of course, there’s still a lot left so that others would subscribe to his paid membership. As of now, I am happy for the free stuff I learn from his blogs and Resale Rights Kingdom.
rye's comment on Hummingbird ...
Worth your investment
When I lost interest in monetizing my twitter account because of several failed attempts, my friend told me that Hummingbird is definitely different and I should give it a try. She is earning a steady amount for her twitter account and I must say I am impressed. So even with the one time membership of $97, I joined in and watched my followers increase on a daily basis and of course my earnings.
The program is very easy to install and can be used with my multiple twitter accounts. It automatically follows and un-follows twitter accounts. Even if you have limited time to check your account personally, you can be assured that Hummingbird is doing the job.
rye's comment on BuyBlogReviews ...
Need to bid for reviews
I used to frequent Buy Blog Reviews when I was just a newbie blogger, I had several paid reviews but mostly amounting from less than a dollar to $2. At that time, I didn’t mind the rate but inclined more on the exposure I got. But I began to be busy with developing my site and other internet marketing stuffs and that's why I seldom visit it anymore.
I also didn’t like the way bloggers need to literally beg for reviews, I mean they lower their rate so that they will be chosen by advertisers. The admin should set up a market range to at least protect their members from those practices.
rye's comment on Surf Junky ...
A real piece of junk
The name itself should post as a warning, but needless to say I joined in Surf Junky. I was enticed with the $0.45 cents a day earning even if it takes an hour. That was pretty much higher than the usual PTC sites, which gives a max of $0.1 a day earning. So I surf and invited online friends. And as soon as I reached the $25 mark, I requested for cash-out. I waited until the 15th of the next month but nothing came to my PayPal account. I tried to send a complaint to the admin but never got a reply.
I should have seen this coming, the rule is never trust a site that never even bothered to think of a nicer name.
rye's comment on 21 Mind-Motivators ...
Really mind motivators
I am a follower of Yanik Silver and Jay Abraham, so when I saw these two names are involved in this project 21 Mind Motivators, I immediately subscribed. I seldom purchase or engaged myself with products that need to involve money, but I never regretted paying the $79 for this one.
The data incorporated in the 21 Mind Motivators are extremely helpful in motivating a newbie like me, or even professionals, to think outside the box and continuously innovate. They include proven methods on how to improve and generate more income to your business whether online or not.
This course is really a great help on my part, and I recommend this to all.
rye's comment on Tim Sales ...
Marketing Guru
I’ve learned almost everything about network marketing from Tim Sales and his tools. His instruction covers from the basic know how to much more complicated things, but made simplified. Even a newbie like me can follow the steps and can easily understand each level.
I subscribed to Brilliant Compensation Online, it allows you to access this explosive prospect qualifying video which is really a great tool, not just in network marketing, but can also be applied to product marketing. All his works are very affordable with as low as $8 and some are even free.
Tim Sales is really the network marketing guru.
rye's comment on PollDaddy ...
A very effective tool
I’ve been using Poll Daddy on my site for quite a while now, and I must say, I am really utterly satisfied with the service. Just as a free member, I can utilize the poll and survey platform, with so much ease. The poll and survey answers can be monitored real time. And even as a free member you can create unlimited polls and surveys with a max of 100 responses with is not bad at all. I use Poll Daddy mostly to generate feedback from my visitors and engage them to stay longer at my site, which I notice is really working. But since my site is fairly new, I just subscribe to free membership, but plan to upgrade once my site picks up.
rye's comment on SpyFu ...
Not for newbie marketers
I’ve learned a lot from SpyFu University, I subscribed to their email alerts and I can say I got a lot of ideas from those emails. It is not like other spam and irritating emails, I actually am looking forward to each emails for updates. The site also has a forum which I find very helpful, I posted once about some items I couldn’t understand about SpyFu and I got an almost immediate response from the admin.
I think SpyFu is a great internet marketing site, particularly on the PPC side, but I think it is more inclined on those hardcore internet marketers and not for newbie like me. Also the registration or monthly subscription is quite high, with $60 per month and only accepts credit cards. For now, I will just content myself with their email updates.
rye's comment on Money Storm ...
Great referral incentive
I joined Money Storm three months back, and even upgraded to their pro membership. I saw the potential of Money Storm and with only $15 for a lifetime membership I think it was worth it. There were a lot of free credits upon signing as a pro member, not to mention the number and quality of traffic I generate from the site.
I also like their referral incentive of $2 for each pro referred member, only $1 if you are a free member. I had 5 referrals so I almost recovered my initial investment.
Aside from the referral bonus, the credits accumulated can not be converted to cash, but can be used for other advertising promo. Which I think is a good idea.
rye's comment on Rextopia ...
Great opportunities
I signed up as affiliate with Rextopia, they are very strict with the requirements, only own website is accepted. I tried my 3 sites but only 1 got accepted, maybe due to the fact that the 2 rejected websites are fairly new with a low PR.
They had variety of programs, but mostly cater with their US affiliates. Being a non US affiliate I can only access the Data Entry Riches and International Free Lotto. But I like the Data Entry program, currently I am earning an average of $25 per month which is not bad. I would want to participate in their Survey Strategy which I heard from other members as a very good income opportunity. Unfortunately, is it only offered to US affiliates.
Rextopia is definitely a legit site, aside from the earning opportunities, they also offer lead generation services such as Rex Tract and Target Matrex.
rye's comment on 15 Ads Daily ...
Another great traffic exchange site
I joined 15 Ads Daily almost 6 months back. Generally the traffic exchange program is great, you receive credits for every surfed site. And these credits can be converted to traffic for your site but not into cash. That is if you are a free member. There is an option though to purchase Ad Packs with these you can earn from the program’s revenue. The minimum is $10.
I availed this program and purchased $10 worth of Ad Packs. I already received revenue share, what they called it, several times but have not yet recovered the full investment. But I am enjoying the amount and quality of traffic I get for my site. I still need to surf 15 ads though, but it only takes less than 5 minutes to do that.
I think 15 Ads Daily is a great site, and most important is that the owner, Martin, is very transparent and sends regular emails on the status of the site and payment schedules. As soon as I accumulate enough on my Alert pay account I’m sure to purchase additional Ad Packs.
rye's comment on inLinks ...
Better option
I had tried other contextual ads provider such as Kontera, but I definitely like inLinks better. First, registering your blog or site was never a problem, you get automatic approval, that’s in my case though. Second, you can approve or deny a particular article or post, I have control on what content I will place on my site. Third, they pay through PayPal on a monthly basis if you reached the $25 mark. Fourth, there was never a complaint that my site is lagging due to the link or ads added.
I have been with inLinks for almost month, but I am very satisfied with my earnings. I am hoping to reach the $25 pay out amount soon, before the end of the month.
rye's comment on John Chow ...
A big help to newbie bloggers
When I started blogging almost a year ago, I searched through the internet on how-tos and I chanced upon John Chow’s blog. I am amazed at how he can generate those big bucks just by blogging, in a way it makes me really determined to make it big just like him.
Although I still consider myself a newbie, Chow’s blog especially on topics on site monetization helps me a lot. His method is a little bit technical for me to fully comprehend so I just stick to reading his blogs and try to gain whatever I can. I subscribed to his RSS feed and free ebook but I never intend to avail of his paid subscriptions.
But I must say that my blog/ site did get a kick in terms of monetizing by following his leads. Way to go John Chow!
rye's comment on Magpie ...
Utterly disappointed
Magpie is another way to monetize your twitter account. This site is less strict than the others, and would actually put ads even if your followers are just on the hundreds mark. But though you get ads and some clicks, the corresponding amount is way too low to the extent that you would not even want to bother checking. I kept myself from checking my account for a month hoping that I would at least earn some considerable cash. But hey I was utterly disappointed to have $0.15 on my account. How on earth can I reach the $50 pay-out? I really gave up on this one.
rye's comment on Anything4Free ...
Loads of freebies
I chance upon this site when I was searching for a free ebook on internet marketing. The site offers quite a lot of free materials and even opportunities to earn. I really like their forum and met a lot of online friends. The forum is a big market where members trade compensation either monetary or service for joining another site or opportunities for free merchandises. I got a lot of offers from this site, some I accepted because some offers are not worth it. It is still your decision to accept an offer or not, no pressure from the other members or admin.
I’ve learned trading tricks here and I am currently trading some of my merchandise as sign up bonus.
rye's comment on 10Bux.net ...
Waiting for nothing
Now, I am losing my hope with PTC sites. Another potentially good PTC site turned scam is 10Bux.net. At first 10Bux.net looks promising, they offer 10 ads per day with $0.01 surf rate. The $10 minimum pay-out is quite high, but I didn’t mind. So together with my 3 referrals, I was able to reach the cash-out in 2 months, but the waiting time for the payment is longer. It’s almost 4 months after I requested my $10 payment, but until now I haven’t receive any money or even an email explanation. I guess the payment will never come no matter how long I wait.
rye's comment on Twittad ...
Long way to go
When I first learned that I could actually monetize my twitter account, I got excited and searched for those ad services. Twittad is one of them, and thus I joined in. The only requirement is to have at least 50 followers and I had more than that so I thought I was qualified. I posted my account, set up my ad rate and waited.
I actually forgot about my Twittad account, maybe due to long time of waiting, and just checked it recently. After 2 months, still no ad is available. Those lucky to receive ads from Twittads had around a thousand followers. I guess as of now, I cannot level with that, so I have to build my followers first before I expect to earn from my tweets.
rye's comment on Get Daily Paid ...
Complete waste of time
That would be great if it is true that you can get paid daily. With that in mind, I joined in Get Daily Paid, only to learn that unless you upgrade you have to accumulate $5 before you can request for cash-out. Since I also registered and they provided 12 ads per day with $0.01 surf rate, I continued to surf ads maybe for a month. Then I start to have problems with my account. Some days I cannot log in, while some days the links are not working. Eventually I lost interest and didn’t even check my account. I was pretty convinced that this site is a scam and my hunch got validated with all the other comments here.
rye's comment on LinkGrand ...
Satisfied with LinkGuard
Link Guard has been in the PTC arena for quite some time, and a lot have already testified it being reliable and legit. Through the testimonies of my online friends, I joined up and referred several too.
I may not be as active as other members, but whenever I have time I click ads and continuously refer Link Guard. Good thing about this PTC site is they provide 10 ads for $0.03 surf rate. And Link Guard pays through Pay Pal within 24 hours. Being a member for 6 months, I’ve been paid once and hopefully will be able to meet the minimum pay-out of $5 again this month.
rye's comment on Adbrite ...
Better alternative
If you widen your horizon you’ll definitely come up with better alternatives, and that’s what I got from Adbrite. When I was starting out, I thought that only Adsense that could give you big bucks, but that was never the case. I was frustrated because I am not earning at all or if I did, only for a few cents. But with Adbrite I got immediate results. I got paid in my first month! The minimum pay is only $10 so it is easier to reach that amount. Now I get an average of two payments in a month. And another good thing with Adbrite is it is not in conflict with other ad providers and even other income generating sites. Thus I can monetize my site more.
rye's comment on adCause ...
Better in all aspects
I thought I have given up with trying to monetize my tweets but this is definitely an exception. First as the name implies, it is an ad for a cause. And second, it is much easier to get ads with adCause than other Twitter ad services.
There is not much requirement and registering is as easy as putting in your twitter id. I just need to set up the frequency of the ads against my tweets. I choose every 5th tweet so as not to bombard my followers with ads. And with other twitter ad services, where I couldn’t even got a single ad even after waiting for months, with adCause I got an ad within 24 hours of joining in. Ok, so it was not much yet, but I am hopeful that it would be accumulate in the future. And also that adCause will continue to meet my expectations.
rye's comment on HyperLinkCash.com ...
Earn from your links
Hyper Link Cash is interstitial ads affiliate network, much similar to Linkbucks. They are generally new in the field but their offer is better than the latter site I mentioned. They pay ads impression from all countries but the rate slightly differs, you get higher rate from traffics from US than other countries. And their minimum cash-out is only $1.0.
I just joined a week ago, they do have real time statistics where I can monitor my clicks. I still haven’t reached the pay-out but my account already had $0.68. I realized that whenever I update my links, I get more clicks. And since they have an automatic link generator, I can change my links often, if possible daily.
I don’t have problems with slow uploading unlike with the other site, so I guess this is way better. I wouldn’t mind an additional income for my site.
rye's comment on Sqip ...
Great potential
I agree the site looks promising and I will be one of those who will benefit once it gets big. I don’t really know what to do with my free PEPs, but I can see it growing. My friends availed of this site mainly due to social networking stuffs so if ever I will get monetized by it in the future, then it would be an additional help.
I had great time setting up my profile and checking other member’s pages. I already referred some friends, but still only a few know about this site (compared to FB, MySpace). I haven’t seen any full blast advertisement which should be Sqip’s priority if they really want to level with top social networking sites.
rye's comment on You Can Write Articles ...
Find time to read this ebook
I had the copy of You Can Write Articles ebook for quite some time, my friend who subscribed to it shared it with me, but I only read it a month ago. I found it really helpful for those who are new to writing articles. The tutorial is simple and shows the important parts of an article which every writer should master. I may not be a good writer for now, but with all those insights and practice I’m sure I will succeed.
My only regret is that I should have read it a long time ago, maybe by now I would be already earning big bucks from writing articles. It’s better late than never though.
rye's comment on Jeremy Schoemaker ...
Shoemoney is a great guy
Who never heard of Shoemoney? If you’re into internet marketing, for sure you did. And boy, he is really great and very generous for that matter. I subscribed for his 12 week free course and learned a lot. Yes, I admit being new to all of these SEO and other internet marketing things, I was able to grasp maybe half of his ideas. That alone is already quite an achievement! I really appreciate his inputs and plan to follow his leads. Hopefully I could be (even half or quarter) as successful as he is. I guess I have to review again and again the free course.
rye's comment on PTC Wallet ...
Surf at your own risk
I had to admit, PTC wallet is a carefully laid-out site. The account panel shows all the details you need: your balance, the number of clicks, number of referrals, referral clicks and referral earnings. Then the surf and sign in pages are equally simple and easy to navigate. You’ll be thinking that such a carefully planned site cannot be a scam.
Well, you’re wrong. I did join, but was quite skeptical with the high surf rate. Unlike most of PTC sites which offers $0.01, PTC wallet offers $0.10! That’s already worth 2 days surf in other sites. I searched through the net for any sign of payment, but all I found was grunts from unpaid members, so before I waste more time I severe my ties with PTC wallet.
rye's comment on TheClickers.net ...
Slowly but surely
This is one of my paying and reliable PTC sites. Now that I think about it, only those slow earning PTC sites are the ones that stay among the rest. Many have come and go, mostly those promising you higher surf rates. But like The Clickers.net, they offer their members only what is the average surf rates, usually $0.01. Higher than that, be more cautious.
The technique about PTC sites is to have as many referrals as possible, so you have to be first to join so you can invite more. I only have 5 referrals, so my first pay-out of $5.50 was accumulated for 4 months! They pay thru Paypal within the next 24 hours.
rye's comment on Bux3 ...
Another one down
Joining PTC sites are very risky nowadays, one time it is up then the next time it is down. I hate to admit that I have been a victim of those fly by night PTC sites. Since almost everyone wants to somewhat earn, we take the risk and just cross our finger that it will not happen to you.
Well, I registered at Bux3, 5 months ago and with 5 active referrals. I reached the pay-out amount of $10, but when it was pay-out time suddenly I cannot access my account anymore. Is it due to down time? I guess not, maybe it is their way of saying you’ll never get paid anyway so why bother to cash-out.
Sad to admit but I was scammed, again.
rye's comment on Lords Of Traffic ...
Really great site
As the name implies, this definitely is on the top of my list of traffic exchange sites. I like the idea of team membership system, I get to interact with other members, compare notes and compete with each other in terms of number of credits. It keeps you motivated to surf more sites. And the 2:1 surf ratio for free members is quite acceptable. Although there is no monetary equivalent to your points unlike other traffic exchange sites, the amount and quality of traffic is enough for you to stay in the program. Did I mention I love the games? That’s another good point to stick with the site.
rye's comment on Obeus ...
New Ads Service
I’ve tried Obeus to my Adsense-free site, as an alternative like Adbrite and Bidvertiser. The registration and set up is very fast and easy. Not much requirement and the waiting period is like the other ads service. Their $1 pay-out is really an added catch. But I guess it was too good to be true. Although the pay-out is relatively low, my site seems not to be earning after the initial 2 weeks, then the next weeks I did earn but an average of $0.2. So to be able to reach the pay-out it would take me 3 months which is also my average time with my Adsense site to reach $100.
Not much of an additional income, if you ask me.
rye's comment on Lisa Suttora ...
Adore this lady
I really look up to this lady, it is one of my dreams to have my own online shop and make it big at ebay. Only few people have mastered the online business at ebay, and she did it so well. So as early as now, I try to gather bits and pieces on how to realize that dream. And I get a lot of inputs from Lisa Suttora, I follow and regularly visit her blog as to know what’s the new scoop. I also have a copy of her ebook, and deemed it necessary for each retailer and wannabes to have one.
rye's comment on Yaro Starak ...
He is awesome!
I’ve first heard of Yaro Starak from an online buddy, she was really raving on how good he is, so I got curious. I followed the link she gave me and signed up for his free newsletter. As a new blogger at that time, I was really amazed at his inputs and suggestions, especially for beginners like me. He definitely knows his stuff. And he is very generous in sharing his knowledge. Though my site still is not that monetizing as much as he claimed it is possible, I know I’m on the right track by following his suggestions as much as possible.
My friend was right, he is awesome!
rye's comment on BuxWiz ...
Bothered member
I’ve seen PTC sites come and go, but I never thought that BuxWiz would be one of them. Initially the site was quite good and paid on time. I have been paid once and got a few referrals. That’s why I was shocked when I saw some write ups that labeled it already as potential scam or scam site. I was still unconvinced, so I tried to log in but my account couldn’t be accessed anymore.
If it was just a temporary glitch, maybe they would have placed some announcement that the site is undergoing maintenance. But the lack of any details means the site was abandoned already. If I as a free member is troubled over some cents, what more for those paid members?
rye's comment on Click Voyager ...
Not worth your effort
I used to be a member of Click Voyager. That was when I was new and had little knowledge of internet marketing stuffs. I never thought that the 5:1 surf ratio is too much, so I surf a lot of sites but got little traffic in return. But when I joined other traffic exchange program, I learned that there are better offers out there, so eventually I stopped surfing at Click Voyager. The company itself is stable but their offer for free member is way too low or below the usual. I might reconsider if at least they give 3:1 surf ratio.
rye's comment on NameCheap ...
Great find
My first and only domain is registered at Name Cheap (while others are still at free webhosts) and come 2 months from now, I still intend to renew my contract with them. With that said, I really value and appreciate their service. When I transferred my domain to Name Cheap, it only took us less than an hour to set it up. I had more difficulty in changing my lay out than the transferring itself. And whenever I had little technical problem, their customer service is always ready to serve you.
For as little as $10 (I got mine for less!) a year, it was really a bargain.
rye's comment on Megaclick ...
Promising Site
I have been a subscriber of Megavideo and Megaupload since last year, and I am quite satisfied with their service. I use to upload and download videos in their site. So when I learned about their new venture which is Megaclick, I said to myself it will definitely be a click. So I joined two months ago as publisher, hoping to get additional advertisers. Megaclick is like Bidvertiser or Adbrite wherein site masters/ bloggers allot a space in their site and those interested advertisers will bid for that space.
Until now, I haven’t received any bids from advertisers, but I believe in the potential of Megaclick so I guess I’ll just stick around for a few more months.
Also, they will soon vent on Megapublisher where content owners can earn too, similar with YouTube. Very promising site indeed.
rye's comment on Palmbux ...
Just like the rest
I joined Palmbux almost six months ago. Just like the rest of PTC sites, the cash is slow, but that’s because it is free and of course the site must earn itself. If you really want to earn big bucks from PTC sites you must be willing to upgrade to premium or higher membership. Although I didn’t upgrade as premium member, I already cashed out a total of $12, mainly due to my referral clicks. If I will rely on my own clicks maybe it would just be half or even third of my earnings because the usual ads in a day is either 4 or 5 only.
So I consider this PTC site pretty good.
rye's comment on Squidoo Queen ...
Effective strategy
I never understood the concept of squidoo lenses, so I never bothered to make one until a friend told me she was actually earning on it. Although she gave me advises on how to do it, she was not that effective. So instead she shared to me Kelly’s Squidoo Queen ebook and then I found out making a lense is actually very simple. You just need to know which feature is needed and which one to discard.
You’ll be amazed that a very simple topic can make hundreds of hits in a day. Now I believe that it is not the article that matters but how you market it. And that’s thanks to Kelly Stone and her Squidoo Queen ebook.
rye's comment on ILoveHits ...
Love it or Hate it
ILoveHits or ILH is not the typical traffic exchange program in the sense that there is no monetary reward offered. All surf ads will be equated to the corresponding traffic for your site. As a free member you get the 3:1 surf ratio, and of course if you once you upgrade to pro membership which is either the Middle Weight or the Heavy Weight, you’ll get better surf ratio. But honestly, I never saw any special reason to upgrade, I’m quite satisfied being a free member. And if you have referrals, you get additional hits or traffic whenever they surf. Isn’t that great?
rye's comment on Hit2Hit ...
Quality traffic with Hit2Hit
I’ve been with Hit2Hit for 6 months now, and I must say I am really satisfied. Like other manual traffic exchanges, you have to surf ads to get equivalent points or credits, but the good thing here with Hit2Hit is that the waiting period is only 6 seconds, unlike most wherein you need to wait for 15 to 30 seconds. For a free member, the surf ratio of 2:1 is acceptable. But if you have money to spare, it is always better to upgrade.
Hit2Hit has proven many times, as in my case, that it can generate quality traffic for my site. That’s why I really allot 30 to 1 hour a day with Hit2Hit.
rye's comment on Entrecard ...
Great for new bloggers
When I was starting with my blogging career, if you may call it a career, I was very into what we call EC dropping. It is a nice way to meet and interact with fellow bloggers. I’ve learned a lot from these blogs in Entrecard, and I noticed that most of the members there are into personal blogs rather than marketing sites. So in a way, the feel is more personal and friendly rather than just clicking for the sake of gaining points.
But with all these traffic exchange sites I’ve joined, I don’t have the luxury of time to EC drop as I want to. So lately, I just see to it that I visit those sites that dropped me an EC.
rye's comment on Histats ...
Reliable traffic counter
Histats counter is one of my reliable website traffic counter in my site. I say reliable because I can log in their site to check my daily, weekly and even monthly stats anytime I want for free! I usually check the number of unique visitors I have in a day, that is if I had any, and the length of their stay. By that I could deduce whether my new post is interesting enough or not.
Registration doesn’t require much except for an email add and your website, then you can already choose your counter look. Copy the HTML and place it on your site, then you can leave it as is. No maintenance needed either.
rye's comment on Hellish Dollars ...
Definitely a scam
Hellish Dollars is definitely a scam. I too was tricked with their promises. Well, many like me still believe that it is possible for a PTC site to pay you $5 per mail. I’ve learned my lesson in the hard way.
I joined Hellish Dollar 6 months ago, and surfed ads daily for 3 months so that I could accumulate the $2000 minimum pay-out. I got referrals, and I am really sorry I dragged them into this mess. They claimed that you will get paid within 72 hours, but I waited and am still waiting for that heaven. It's been 3 months now since I requested that payment.
Until now I receive emails from Hellish Dollars inviting me to upgrade, who would fall to their trap twice? Not me, definitely.
rye's comment on 70Cents ...
I totally gave up on this site
I joined this program for 70 cents with nothing much to lose. There are 3 ways to earn here, first to purchase the program, second as PTC site and third as advertiser. I tried the first one which is the 70 cents program, although I got money from my referrals and was able to cash-out $1, I didn’t intend to purchase the next levels so I was stuck at level 1 and my earnings stopped also.
Then about the second offer which is the PTC site where I get $05 per surfed ad, it is quite slow, so eventually I totally gave up with this site.
rye's comment on LinkWorth ...
Too good to be true
I joined LinkWorth because of their variety of services being offered, all of which are pretty good based on their promotional advertisement. I am really interested in LinkPost or the pay to blog service and LinkWords which is actually in-line advertising (much like Kontera). The sign-up process was very easy, but the actual set-up of these services gave me headaches. The customer service is not much help, I send a query about how to do Link Words, but I did not receive any reply. Also, I received complaints that my blog takes time to upload or even cannot be accessed.
I have to give up LinkWorth. First, I am not earning anything and second, I am losing my trusted visitors.
rye's comment on Free Traffic Bar ...
Amazing find
This is definitely different from the usual traffic exchange I joined. First, you have to download their toolbar to start their service. The toolbar is itself user friendly, and if it still confuses you, there are available how-to videos. After I downloaded the toolbar, I immediately got my bonus credits and then every time I used the toolbar I got additional credit points! Everything you do here is converted into credit points and it really got me excited.
I change my text and banner ads once in a while, I noticed that whenever I did that, I get more page impressions. And all these as a free member! I really recommend Free Traffic Bar!
rye's comment on Smorty ...
Not that Smorty
I registered my blog with Smorty 3 months ago, the registration was a breeze, then approval took 2 days, but the waiting period to get offers takes a forever!
Yup, until now I haven’t received a single writing offer at Smorty. I think it was more on the demographic aspect and that’s why some bloggers receive offers while some do not. I have tried registering to other sites, but they clearly state that they do not offer their service to this and that country. I suggest Smorty does the same so as not to let other bloggers like me to waste our time waiting when there is really no opportunity.
rye's comment on Revbux ...
Trusted PTC site
I tried both being an advertiser and affiliate at revbux.com. As an affiliate I just sign up as free, and it works the same as other PTC sites where you are paid as you surf ads and invite friends. I’ve been paid once in my 3 months as free member.
Once I got my payment at revbux.com I paid it to be an advertiser. I can really say it is worth the $5 I paid for 2000 ad links and at the time I purchased their ad pack it comes with a lot of freebies. Next time I cash-out again, I’ll buy another ad pack. That’s for sure.
rye's comment on TrafficSwarm ...
Trusted traffic exchange program
One of the first traffic exchange programs I joined. I must say, I am quite satisfied with the traffic I generate, being a free member that is. Like all traffic exchange programs I joined, you have to be patient enough to surf for credits. I heard a lot of complaints, but if you don’t agree with their policy you could always stop, or if you want to get credits but do not want to manually surf, pay the premium.
Traffic Swarm is already a pillar among the traffic exchange sites, with higher Alexa ranking than others, and being said that, means that it is effective and trusted.
rye's comment on Top Tier Traffic ...
New approach to traffic exchange
I am naturally competitive, and that’s why I enjoy Top Tier Traffic program. I like to place myself in the top half position rather at the bottom half. I just conceded on the top half because I cannot compete to those top ranking because I am only a free member. The points I accumulate in the previous week from surfing, clicking on email links and referring new members will be tallied for next week’s ranking. And all those points you accumulated will determine your corresponding traffic.
I must really commend their new approach on traffic exchange program. Too much of the same thing can be really boring.
rye's comment on Blue-Surf ...
Average Traffic Exchange Program
I joined blue-surf just to generate additional traffic to my site. There were good reviews posted on their site. But I got disappointed with their 3:1 surf ratio, meaning I got to surf 3 sites before I can get 1 viewership. Yah, it’s free but I have other traffic exchange programs that offers 1:1 or 2:1 surf ratios, so I think I’ll stick to my other traffic exchange programs such as Traffic Pods and Easy Hits 4U. I am still a free member, though I seldom surf sites, I'll wait maybe in the future they would improve their program.
They do offer 1:1 but you have to pay $10/month, I think I’ll pass.
rye's comment on TrafficPods ...
Traffic exchange made fun and easy
I tried Traffic Pond upon the recommendation of a friend, I signed up expecting the usual traffic exchange program. But boy I was wrong! I like their idea of pods. They grouped the sites into 10 and are called pods. Once you’ve finished clicking 10 sites, you move on to the next pod. After 10 pods, there is a bonus pod then if you’re really into it and finished 100 pods, you get another bonus called super pod. I am currently addicted to it and want to reach this super pod, and that means clicking 1000 sites.
Their pro membership is looks very promising and I am thinking of getting my own pod.
rye's comment on Bux.gs ...
One of my paying PTC sites
I am a member of Bux.gs for 3 months now, and yes, I got paid already once. A little bit slow, but I can say it is better than other PTC sites I’ve joined. First, they pay through PayPal and Alertpay within 48 hours and you’ll have a regular number of ads to be clicked.
Like all other PTC sites, you have to be patient and have referrals to help you earn. When I was starting out I only had one referral. But when I was able to reach my pay-out and showed the proof of payment to my friends, my other friends also signed-up and now I have 5 and counting.
rye's comment on LinkReferral ...
Excellent traffic exchange program
I have been a member of LinkReferral for more than six months, and I can say I am very satisfied with their service. This site not only offers free traffic but also visitor feedback or reviews. I am only a free member until now, and I only need to click on 30 sites a day and my site in turn would be on top of their directory. You know you’re getting the traffic and reviews because they send you email notifications.
Also, you can sign up your site to many categories. So far my site has always been targeted to the categories travel, entertainment and lifestyle.
LinkReferral is really an excellent traffic exchange program. I am seriously thinking of getting upgraded, maybe once I’ve fully set-up my site.
rye's comment on Adgitize ...
Adgitize with me
Adgitize has been very useful in providing traffic to my site/ blog. When I joined 6 months ago, there were fewer publishers so I got more traffic, but since it’s popularity zoomed, a lot of publishers joined in thus the traffic was distributed to other blogs. Nevertheless, I still continue to be Adgitize’s publisher and now Advertiser as well.
As Advertiser, the $14 pay per month can be easily recovered but don’t expect higher income than $10 per month. But the traffic you get from being Advertiser is tenfold than being Publisher so it’s a win-win situation.
I really advise you to be an Advertiser in Adgitize.
rye's comment on LinkBucks ...
It’s a NO for me
I’ve tried almost any advertising available for my site, Linkbucks is one of those that I think doesn’t suit me or my site. Although some of my online friends say that it pays pretty much, I had to beg off.
I joined Linkbucks a few months back. I must say it is really easy to register and there is not many requirements, you just have to type in your URL to their site and they will do the rest. The problem is you don’t have any choice of the placement of their ads either.
When I had Linkbucks on my site, it takes 15 seconds or more to be directed to my page and it causes confusion and annoyance to my visitors. So in the end I decided to remove it.
rye's comment on RSS Feed Generator Pro ...
Amazing find
I’ve heard of this RSS Feed Generator Pro from a forum, I told myself why would I pay if I can set-up my own RSS feeds. But many people attest that they make more money with this RSS feed generator and the $30 payment was worth it.
So, I subscribed and true enough, it is not the same as those free RSS generators. The installation is quite simple and the results are amazingly fast. I noticed that I got more ads impressions and paid for it, even though I don’t get any ad clicks. And if I did some clicks, it is higher than I got from my banner ads.
Really worth the money.
rye's comment on Kontera ...
Passable income
Kontera’s innovative way of advertising makes me interested and I eventually signed up with them. The in-line text advertising, for me, is quite good; it does not need much space and would not stand out against my other banner ads.
At first, I couldn’t reach the monthly minimum pay-out of $5. Unfortunately, once you did not reach that amount it will be forfeited and you’ll go back to zero. On my third month, I was able to earn more than $5, so I was able to cash-out. The next months, my ads impression had stabilized and I was able to receive monthly earnings, maybe not much as other ad providers. I guess you just have to wait till your visitors get used to it.
rye's comment on Ad Ventures 4U ...
Still pinning for Ad Ventures 4u
I am saddened by the recent developments in Ad Ventures 4u. It was a pretty decent site, with lots of opportunities such as traffic exchange and the revenue program. I initially bought ventures $10, but since I’ve got 5 referrals, I was able to recover my initial investment from the referral incentives. The income from the venture I kept rolling it over week after week, hoping to gain more. But with recent developments, I think I will not be able to cash it all out.
Steve has been promising a cash-out and is quite positive that Ad Ventures 4u will bounce back, I hope so too!
rye's comment on YouTube Secret Weapon ...
Secret No More
This YouTube Secret Weapon DVD is one of my few buys online that is really worth it (a lot were trash). Julie and Paul make the tutorial as simple as possible. They make the user understand the step by step process on how to make your YouTube video stand out from the rest.
I’ve used their secret weapon on my uploaded YouTube videos and sure enough, I got twice my normal hits, may be more than twice actually. Before I got hundreds of clicks a day, but now I get thousands! And all because I use their keywords optimization techniques on my titles, descriptions and tags.
I am now enjoying the “secret” which is actually not a secret anymore because a lot of people have been using it already.
rye's comment on Chitika ...
Recommended but
Chitika is a good source of income, BUT I don’t suggest that you use it alone. Since it is compatible with Google Adsense, better use it together.
With almost a year of experience with both Adsense and Chitika, I still prefer the first because it gives me higher income.
Chitika ads only show up after your visitor searched for a specific item. Otherwise it will not be visible. Thus, it leads to lesser ads impression and lower earning potential. As the saying goes, see no evil, click no evil.
I already received several payments from Chitika and the good thing is it pays through PayPal.
