sharkking's comment on Partner With Paul ...
Partner with Paul; What a Joke
While clicking on a PTC site (which I later found out was a scam) I found this site. I read through it and it sounded reputable; no millions in minutes claims and no buy now and get 10% off thing at the bottom. What I found most enticing was the fact that there was no claims for money; Paul said "I won't charge you a dime" so seeing this to be an actual good product I signed up. Immediately after I got to a page that was asking me to shell out 10 dollars for some kit that I apparently needed. This was not what I was told would happen. So I refused. The next day I checked my e-mail; 40 new messages. "Who could they be from??" I wonder, well of course it's my good friend Paul, now spamming me with sites just as illegitimate as his also trying to get their hands on my money. The spamming got so bad I had to switch e-mails just to get away.
My advice to to-be partners; don't, not unless you want to get both scammed and spammed.
sharkking's comment on Global Traffic Matrix ...
Did not live up to expectations
I have a simple website with google adsense advertisements and the likes. Then I see this Global Traffic Matrix thing and I said "looks like it could work". Boy was I wrong; They said that I would get hundreds of visitors to my site just for being a member. Then after they had me signed up they said "upgrade and get even more" growing skeptical I refused. When I logged in I found out what this really was all about. Basically when you're a "free" member you can't do anything, it just keeps on telling you "upgrade now to get hundreds of visitors" then they send you loads of junk mail telling you to "upgrade soon!" once again. Overall I couldn't wait to cancel my account and get as far away as possible. Overall a colossal waste of my time and quite a pain. My advice: Be very, very skeptical about sites like these.
sharkking's comment on Acme Free People Search Engine ...
Does it REALLY work??
The moment I saw the Acme People Search Page I said "oh no" it's design and layout closely resemble that of other internet scams "I made 100's of dollars a week with this program; Sue from Texas says she loves it. Bla bla bla" but on closer inspection I found that it looked like a genuine source, there was no outrageous claims about obscene amounts of money being made and the math seemed to add up. When I really analyzed this page I found that that it actually made sense. So I signed up as anyone in my position might do. Then I got this page with "Affilitize, monetize, advertise". This also looked like it made sense so I tried it; but alas I came to my first bump; the website problem. I already have a website with paying domain fees; then this website tells me I can only use GDI domains. No other option. I found that this was rather annoying and tedious to do. But as I wanted the money that they had claimed I would receive and plotted on (with an expensive new domain)at the end of my quest I arrived at the end (advertise) and I arrived at "Tissa's Trio" yet another attack at my money, this time demanding 29.95 a month! So much for all this money I was going to get... My word of advice to entrepreneurs looking for money online; be pessimistic. Always assume something's a scam and look for the site to prove you wrong. In this way you'll minimize the amount of scams you succumb to. But overall use common sense; If something is promising thousands of dollars with only this small one time fee you should probably see through it.
