Very unprofessional company
I only used their free web hosting as a way to test my sites before putting them on a better paid site, but this last ordeal was the last straw.
On CPanel of the free sites, you are supposed to have the option of using Fantastico Autoinstaller to install many helpful programs such as Joomla CMS and Wordpress but they never work. Instead, all you get is a message saying they are currently upgrading the system and Fantastico is down BUT if you upgrade to a paid site, it will of course work perfectly. So I installed Joomla the old fashioned way, through FTP. I had nothing more on the site except a partial unfinished article about George Washington and other founders of this country. Out of the blue, I was shut down because they wanted to check mine and other sites for illegal activities and read that it would be no longer than 2 to 4 hours for this and that I would receive an email when they were through. I didn't like this at all as I am not a criminal and will not allow anyone to treat me like one.
A day later I emailed them asking for access back to my site. I was never answered and still have not received an answer or access back. Not a huge problem for me as it is only for testing as I said, but I would never buy a paid hosting plan from them because of this. Very unprofessional.. too bad because it could be a very nice option if they learned how to run a proper business.
