victorywp's comment on Nominimumbux ...
Nominimumbux is unstable
I joined Nominimumbux after seeing their advertisement in NeoBux for quite a long period & noticing that their members increased by more than 100% during that period.
I don't really trust PTC sites hosted by BuxHost (any inexperienced person can set up a PTC site by paying a mere $25 per month to BuxHost) because they might be gone at anytime. So, Nominimumbux is the first that I have joined.
My experience with Nominimumbux is very bad. Their account has been suspended twice recently! There is a message on their homepage stating that the site was being temporarily suspended & members are unable to log in. Now their forum is down, stating that they are installing the new version of the forum.
I don't recommend new members to join until they fix all these problems.
victorywp's comment on Webgains ...
Not for me
I joined Webgains in 2007 & immediately installed the affiliate banners into my sites. I thought it would be easy to get my readers to buy something as the products I am promoting are all related to my sites' content.
After several weeks, I received more than 200,000 impressions & 1,000 clicks but I didn't see any conversion or transactions being done. Since Webgains is paying commission based on the transaction referred from our site, I received nothing from the effort. I quickly pulled out their affiliate banners & replaced with my other CPM/CPC ads.
Overall, Webgains is a great affiliate tool, since I received lots of clicks into it. The only problem is that the market I was promoting into is not ready to buy anything.
victorywp's comment on MyLot ...
Earn & learn with Mylot
I have to admit that I first joined Mylot because they pay their members for starting a discussion & response to a discussion. But once I started to join the community, I am no longer concern about how much I could earn there.
There is more than just earning money in Mylot, in fact, I learned a lot of things through it's community. There are members all around the world with different backgrounds & cultures. So I received a lot of valuable opinions & thoughts from them.
I have been paid several times through posting quality posts & completing tasks. So far I don't have any negative comments about Mylot & will definitely recommend it to anyone. The best thing is that we can earn & learn at the same time in Mylot!
victorywp's comment on QualityBux ...
Scam alert!
I still have a pending payment from QualityBux since 2nd September 2009! The total amount they owed me is $5.05 (after deducting the processing fee). Luckily I did not rent referrals or upgrade my membership in this site.
The customer service is really useless. They are avoiding & not responding to any of my complaints. Furthermore, their forum has been in total control of their admin & moderators. They will only approve positive topics or posts. So new members will never know the truth that they have stopped paying. Now, their forum is in maintenance mode.
I would not recommend new members to join QualityBux (until they pay me).
victorywp's comment on NoMinCashout ...
A paying PTC turned scam
I joined NoMinCashout not long after they launched. They have some very interesting benefits like $0.01 per own click, $0.01 per referral click, at least 7 ads daily, no minimum amount for cash out, & no country restriction. With these features, I can say that it is the best PTC that ever existed & I managed to get 53 referrals easily in a short period.
However, things went bad after I received my second payment. The admin changed the click rates to $025 (own click & referral click). Right after the announcement their forum was being flooded with lots of complaints from their members, which later resulted in the forum being shut down.
I still have a pending payment from them with the amount of $30.98 for more than 6 months already. It is very likely that I will never be paid again, but I do log in once a while to check whether there is any updates from them.
victorywp's comment on BuxWiz ...
Getting worse
Buxwiz used to be one of my favorite PTC sites. I just received an instant payment from them into my PayPal on 23rd August 2009 right before they started to experience some issues regarding payment (no cashout option).
Recently I have been receiving quite a number of emails from BuxWiz regarding their promotion price on referrals renting. It is very likely that this site is currently undergoing some financial difficulties & needs investment from their members. Although they have yet to turn into scam, this site is very unstable & has been up & down for a while now.
I really don't encourage anyone to join (for new members) or to invest in referrals or membership upgrade (for existing members) at this moment.
victorywp's comment on TheClickers.net ...
A slow earner
When I signed up with TheClickers.net, I did not read carefully about their phrase "Get Paid to Click up to 1c ads". I thought that all the PTC ads are worth $0.01 per click, not realizing that it is actually being mentioned as "up to". Until today, I have never received a click that is worth $0.01.
Since their ads are usually worth less than $0.01, I expect to see more ads to be clicked. But my number of ads are usually around 4-6 only. I have been clicking daily since the day I joined, but it seems that I still have a very long way to reach the minimum payout of $5.50. I know that I can earn extra in the Paid To Sign Up section, but none of the offers really attract me to sign up with.
My only hope now is to get more referrals to help me with in this program or I might give up after a while.
victorywp's comment on Bux3 ...
I already quit Bux3
I joined Bux3 one or two months back because it seems to be a trusted PTC site at that moment. Although they have a much higher minimum payout of $10, but their rate of $0.01 per click is better than some other PTC sites.
However, not long after joining I found out that they have stopped paying through PayPal & their forum was no longer found on their server. They did not explain any good reason for shutting down their forum. So, I have decided to stop clicking there as those are the signs that they will no longer pay their members.
victorywp's comment on Surf Junky ...
Surf Junky never pay me!
I came across Surf Junky about a year ago & found out that it is an autosurf program with a very high surfing rate (even higher than manual surfing rate). I joined it immediately thinking that I have found a fast & easy way to earn cash. All I need to do is just go on the Surf Junky browser & it will rotate automatically. After passing each hour, I will receive the promised $0.45-0.75.
I managed to hit the minimum payout of $25 within a week because I kept the browser on for about 10-15 hours a day. Then, I decided to stop using it until I received their payment. However, until today I have never receive any payment from them.
I am unhappy with Surf Junky because it is a scam, but I don't regret joining it because I did not put much effort in it anyway.
victorywp's comment on Histats ...
The best ever!
Histats is the best ever free traffic counter that I have personally tried on.
I love Histats because of it's ability to:-
1) Check the types of browser & screen resolution my visitors are using
- I am able to design my blog to suit the majority of my visitors
2) Trace my visitors' IP addresses
- I can get rid of annoying visitors by banning their IP addresses
3) Know how long my visitors stay on each page
- I will post more topics related to their favourite pages
4) Track where my visitors were linked from (websites/search engines)
- I know which advertisements that I have created are effective to generate visitors
5) Learn about the keywords my visitors typed in search engines that linked them to my site
- I will use similar keywords for my meta tags (meta description & meta keywords), as well as in my posts
The best thing is that Histats keeps all the records of my last 20,000 visitors, all for free!
victorywp's comment on Palmbux ...
Complicated click rates
First, Palmbux sets 7 different rates for 7 different types of memberships (Standard, Premium, Deluxe, Business, Luxury, Royal, & PalmElite). To make things more complicated, there are 4 different classes (Class A, Class B, Class C, & Class D) of ads that pay different rates.
In my early days of using Palmbux, I remembered clicking 6 ads (expecting to receive an amount of $0.048), I only received $0.034 in total. I thought that they did not credit me for viewing some of the ads until I realized that as a Standard (free) member, the rates are as low as $01 (Class D) til $08 (Class A) per click. So I might have received 4 Class A ads & 2 Class D ads at that time.
Besides the complicated click rates, Palmbux is a legit site as recently I have been paid instantly right after clicking the cash out button.
victorywp's comment on PollDaddy ...
Pretty good, overall
I started to use PollDaddy back in 2007 before they were being acquired by Automattic at the end of 2008.
I preferred PollDaddy instead of other poll services because the polls are customizable & easy to use. I can easily customize the look of the poll (font & colors) to suit the theme of my blog. Also, they did not limit the maximum number of my answer options for the poll (mostly other providers have a limit of 10), which is important for me. After voting, it shows the polling results right at the same page in my blog (mostly other providers will redirect voters to their domain name to show the results).
However, after PollDaddy was being acquired by Automattic, all the polls have been installed with pop up ads. Each time when people click to vote, an advertisement will pop up (which is annoying). Anyway, I stopped using PollDaddy after I purchased my own website because I am able to do all the polling & save the results directly into my database.
victorywp's comment on Trek Pay ...
Trek Pay did pay!
When I joined Trek Pay, I wasn't quite sure that they will pay me because they are in prelaunch. I just do my daily clicking & when I have reached their minimum payout of $5.50, I received a payment from them!
What I like about Trek Pay is that they don't set a minimum time for you to view their ads & they provide a lot of ads daily. The credits that I have earned will be automatically converted into cash. It is very simple to learn & earn with Trek Pay.
victorywp's comment on Bux.gs ...
A PTC site with PTSU
I have been a member of Bux.gs for a couple of months already. I have accumulated $5.65 with the help of 4 referrals. Bux.gs used to have 5 ads per day until recently (these 2 weeks), they have reduced their daily ads to only 4.
What I really like about Bux.gs is that they are not totally a PTC site. They do have a section called Paid To Sign Up (PTSU) & that really helps me to increase my earnings by signing up offers.
Although their minimum payout is set at $9, I don't find it very hard to reach with the help of PTSU section.
victorywp's comment on Jills Click Corner ...
Another slow earner
This is not a good program to earn cash. I have done a lot of clicking but am still far away from their minimum payout of $1. To make things worse, they did not provide the feature of Paid To Promote (PTP) like other aurora sites (Donkey Mails, No-Minimum, Clicksia, Incentria, etc) did.
In order to earn fast in an aurora site like this, I think PTP feature is a must, so that I can advertise it in traffic exchange programs & earn from the conversion. Otherwise, it takes forever from my own clicks to reach the payout.
I have stopped clicking there because they have no other features to boost my earnings (except for their contests, which I am not interested in).
victorywp's comment on Isabel Marco's Money Maker ...
Not a money maker for free members
I am very disappointed when the admin changed the terms, not to let free members cash out. I felt cheated because all the credits that I have earned from this site have to be converted to ads & not cash.
I don't think the admin can be trusted because they changed the terms when their members are reaching payouts. What if they changed the terms again after I upgraded my membership & reached my payout? I think it is totally worthless & I would not recommend this to anyone.
victorywp's comment on Carl Ocab ...
One of my favourites
Carl Ocab is one of my favourite internet marketers because:-
1) He is a kid but earns more than an adult (on average)
2) The contents on his blog are very interesting & inspiring
3) His tips on internet marketing are clear, detailed, easy to understand, & FREE
4) His blog is simple & easy to browse through
Believe or not? I first came to know about Pay To Click (PTC) through him when he posted a link in one of his earlier posts.
victorywp's comment on LinkBucks ...
Depends on your readers
I tried LinkBucks on two websites & received different results.
On one of my websites, my readers complained that they always got 'stucked' on a LinkBucks page & claimed that my website had been attacked by some kind of 'virus'. However, LinkBucks works well on the other website of mine & I received no complaints or comments whatsoever.
My recommendation for those who want to use LinkBucks:-
1) Your target readers must be those who are used to LinkBucks redirecting service, or
2) Your website must be unique or provide free service (usually free downloads) that your readers will feel worth being interrupted for.
victorywp's comment on LinkGrand ...
Reliable but slow to earn
Link Grand is definitely a reliable site with a lot of ads to be clicked daily. Each time I logged in, I can see about 20 ads available to be clicked.
However, the rate is so low ($03 per click) & they do not provide a feature for members to rent referrals. So if we are unable to gain our own referrals, it takes a long time to reach the minimum payout of $5.
victorywp's comment on BUXP ...
An average PTC site
On my first day of joining, I thought that BuxP is paying $0.01 per click like other PTC sites do. After I have clicked all the available ads of the day, I found out that I only earned about less than half a cent for each ad I clicked.
As a free member, I don't like the fact that they have a low clicking rate, a high minimum payout of $7.99, & they take 45 business days to process a payment.
However, I still continue to click because they have a lot of ads to be clicked daily. This site is legit as I have already received my first payment.
Another thing I like about BuxP is that they have a Twitter account. So we can get fast updates about their site & especially regarding our pending payments.
victorywp's comment on Traffic G ...
One of the best!
Traffic G is one of the best traffic exchange program that I have joined! As a free member, these are the reasons why I love about Traffic G:-
1) I can enjoy a surf ratio of 1:1
- Save time & clicks when earning credits
2) I am able to categorize my sites
- Good for targeting my audience based on same interests
3) I can choose my categories of interest for my surfing
- Won't show me with boring & uninteresting advertisements
4) I have the option to show my sites to chosen countries or regions
- Good for targeting my audience based on geographic/location
Honestly, I received the most conversions from Traffic G compared to any other traffic exchange programs that I joined.
It is highly recommended to all!
victorywp's comment on WordLinx ...
No consistent advertisements to be clicked daily
I signed up with WordLinx after being introduced by a member in a forum. I was told that this is another reliable program for me to earn some extra cash.
In my first 3 days of joining, there is only 2 ads available for me to click. In order to maximize my earnings, I did signed up with their paid emails program. However, I only received 1 email in those 3 days.
Since they do not have consistent ads for me to click & their minimum payout is set at $10, it will take me ages to reach my first payout! I am unsure whether this is only a problem for international members like me.
Anyway, I decided to delete my account & stated the reason there. After 2 days, I received their confirmation that my account has been deleted from their database.
victorywp's comment on No-Minimum ...
Slow earner
I joined No-Minimum a few months back but I left it a few days later. I had spent my days clicking their ads, only to realize that I have actually earned about $0.01 after 100 ads clicked.
The only good point to stay with No-Minimum is their referral system (6 levels: 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, 1%, 1%). So if you know how to get & train your referrals to get more referrals under them, you can earn pretty fast with this program.
Since I am not an expert in training referrals, so I am not spending a few months just to click 10000 ads in order to earn the $1.
victorywp's comment on 000WebHost ...
MySQL unavailable for me
About one year ago, I wanted to host both PHP & HTML pages for free. I tried on some other free hosting (without advertisement) but they did not provide MySQL service for free. So the only feature that attracted me to 000WebHost (free plan) is that they let you to have 2 MySQL databases (without advertisement) for your site.
However, I found some problems using 000WebHost:-
1) I cannot use the MySQL service (it always stated "temporary unavailable")
2) All my HTML pages load very slowly with their hosting
3) I contacted the support team but they did not reply me
I am using other free hosting (without advertisement) with fast HTML page loading at the time I signed up with 000WebHost. So if 000WebHost is unable to provide MySQL service for my PHP pages, there is no other reason for me to stay (even if my HTML pages load fast with their hosting).
victorywp's comment on Smiley Traffic ...
Strict rules for cash surfers
I must admit that the main reason I joined Smiley Traffic is to surf for extra cash. But after 2 days of clicking & reading through their terms, I left it right away.
Here are the things you need to know if you join as a free member just to surf for cash:
1) $0.02 for every 100 pages you surfed
- For each time, you must click a small text message located near the timer to claim it, otherwise you receive no cash for your effort.
2) $20 minimum payout
- You need to click at least 100000 pages to reach the payout, about 420 hours of surfing.
3) Any pay out request made in 31 days of joining will have your amount taken off the balance requested
- You cannot request for a payout even if you are able to surf 420 hours in less than 31 days.
4) Any pay out request within 4 months of last pay out or sign up, will be charged $5
- You can only cash out every 4 months if you are unwilling to be charged.
5) Upgrade just to cash out will be charged $5
- Upgraded members will have a lower minimum pay out of $10, but if you upgrade mainly for this purpose, you will be charged.
So I must say that Smiley Traffic is mainly for traffic exchange, but if you are able to abide by their strict rules, you can earn some cash as well.
victorywp's comment on Traffic Era ...
Not for me
Traffic Era is another traffic exchange program with a very low surf ratio (5:1) for free members. If you are trying to earn more credits with this program, you need to either join/build a team or upgrade your membership.
I felt that it is difficult to be accepted into a team because the leader doesn't know whether I will be active there. It is even harder & time consuming if I am to build my own team. Also, I am not going to pay $19.99 just to upgrade my membership for a ratio of 5:3 with some unattractive extra features.
I left Traffic Era after a few days of joining & continue with those traditional traffic exchange programs with 1:1 & 2:1 surf ratio. At least I save my time from striving with team to win the credits that I can easily earn from other programs.
victorywp's comment on Traffic Witch ...
10 seconds timer not for me
Traffic Witch is one of the traffic exchange program that I have joined previously. It has a 10 second surfing timer & uses a dynamic surfing ratio. So if you are active in this program, you are able to earn real & fast credits.
However, I must say that I dislike the 10 second timer (although many of the members like it). The 10 second timer is fixed for all types of membership. If I have the option, I am willing to use more credits to increase the timer. It's easy to earn credits in the program, but it's even easier to lose the credits (for nothing). I stayed with the program for a few months time but I don't recall any conversion came through this program.
For me, 10 seconds is really too short for a page to load & have the message delivered to the viewers!
victorywp's comment on Click Voyager ...
Used to be good but not now
Click Voyager is one of the earliest traffic exchange program that I have joined. I remember that their surf ratio is 5:1 (for free members) which is still OK in my opinion because we don't have much choices at that time.
But some months later, I found many other traffic exchange programs giving better surf ratio like 3:1 & 2:1, so I started to spend less time on it.
I couldn't believe that the conversion from those better surf ratio could match or even beat what I got from Click Voyager & that is the time when I totally left Click Voyager. Until today I still see that their surf ratio for free members is 5:1.
With the competition nowadays, I think they will have to shut down if there is no improvement done to their program. At least they have to lower down the surf ratio for free members.
victorywp's comment on Royal Surf ...
Not so OK
I use traffic exchange for more than a year now & have tried on Royal Surf some time ago.
I don't like the fact that they do not offer downline system like other traffic exchange programs do. So I could only earn myself some little extra credits (one time only per referral).
Also as a free member, the surf ratio of 3:1 is so much not worth & I did not pay for an upgrade because I believe that I can get a better surf ratio somewhere else for free (& I did!).
I have to give credit to Royal Surf for blending games & chat into their traffic exchange program & I did have fun with it in the beginning.
However, I left Royal Surf after I realized that the conversions are just OK & there are so many other places for me to play games or to chat.
victorywp's comment on Widget Bucks ...
Not for international members
I found Widget Bucks when I am searching for Adsense alternatives about 2 years ago. But I have stopped using it after 2 months.
The design & how the widget operates are great but makes my site load very slowly. Also, it doesn't really work for a low traffic site & definitely not meant for international users because they offer a very low CPM for international members.
victorywp's comment on Clixsense ...
Clixsense doesn't make any sense!
This is definitely not for international members.
First of all, the number of advertisements available for viewing will be depending on your countries or regions. As an international member, there is only 1 advertisement for me daily, which will take me forever to reach the payout at USD $10!
Next, the rates also differ depending on your countries or regions. They claimed that the rates are between USD 0.01 to USD $5 for each advertisement viewing, but for international members, it is fixed at USD 0.01 per advertisement viewed.
Finally, with the above mentioned, you will only make the first payout after more than 2 years of joining with consistent daily advertisement viewing. That's not all, since they only pay you by cheque, you will be charged a fee when you deposit it into your local bank.
victorywp's comment on B-U-X.net ...
Another not paying PTC
This is one of the first PTCs that I joined. I reached the payout in about 2 months time but I was never paid. I posted in their forum for not paying me but they deleted my posts. Later because of too many members posted the same thing asking for their payments, the admin shut down the forum. Until today the forum still showing under maintenance page. Once in a while I still will log in to make sure that they don't delete me for inactive. However, I am pretty sure that I won't be paid!
victorywp's comment on Hit Safari ...
Just another traffic exchange program
If you use it to promote splash pages to get sales or referrals, this is just not for this purpose I might say. You will ended up wasting your time surfing in exchange for uninterested viewers. For your information, I did promote the same splash pages in other traffic exchanges programs & have received quite a number of good responses.
If you use it just to bring hits or traffic to your site, then you can try on it. However, the bounce rate for your site will be high & not really improve your site's ranking. So I left Hit Safari to go for other traffic exchanges programs that pay me to surf. At least I can earn some cash doing the same thing!
victorywp's comment on Bidvertiser ...
Not for low traffic sites
I joined Bidvertiser more than a year ago as an alternative to Adsense. Bidvertiser did have a CPC rate that is competitive & even higher than Adsense. However, they did not offer any CPM advertisements. This means that with a low traffic site, it is nearly impossible to expect each of your site visitor to click the advertisements. And so, since it did not offer CPM advertisements, you earn nothing if all your visitor did not click on the advertisements.
Furthermore, their advertisements only available in text with no graphic which is very much not interesting. Also with limited advertisers, your Bidvertiser advertisement space might be only showing "Your Ad Here For Free" for a whole day. If you use Skyscrapers space, it will show you 5 same messages of "Your Ad Here For Free" which earn you nothing even if your visitors click it.
I don't recommend Bidvertiser for low traffic sites.
victorywp's comment on Dragon Surf ...
Effective program
I got to know Dragon Surf some time ago when I am searching for information on how a traffic exchange program works. I came across an ebook teaching about traffic exchange using Dragon Surf as an example.
It is simple, easy to use, & also effective in bringing me referrals through my splash pages. This means that the members in Dragon Surf really did read the rotating pages.
If you want to get sales or referrals through traffic exchange, Dragon Surf is for you. If you just wanted to surf for cash, then you should go for other as Dragon Surf does not have this feature.
victorywp's comment on Adbrite ...
Pretty good to earn from it
Adbrite is a very good site to earn from. I can say that the minimum cash out of USD5 (by cheque) is the lowest of all among it's competitors. Besides the text & banner advertisements, you can also earn quite well with their Full Page advertisements. Also, they work well with Traffic Exchanges programs, so you don't have to be afraid of getting your account terminated.
However, you will not have advertisements showing all the time on your Adbrite space no matter how many traffic you generate. If there is no advertisement, your Abrite space will be replaced with the words "Advertise with Adbrite". Another weakness is that they don't pay through PayPal at this moment.
