A.W. Surveys Description

A.W. Surveys is a membership site run by a company called Aclarn, Inc. that pays members for observing websites and then writing their opinions about them. This program offers members differing payments for each survey, and also has a referral program in place that allows members to make a percentage of what anyone they recruit earns.

A.W. Surveys Detailed Overview

AW Surveys puts a whole new spin on paying people to take surveys. Instead of answering a bunch of questions, you simply look at some websites and write your opinion on them. The review that you write doesn’t need to be more than one or two lines. In fact, there isn’t room for you to write more than one or two lines.

What kind of websites do you review at AW Surveys? Most of the sites you see will be pay-per-action websites, such as other survey sites and pay-per-click sites. Other types of sites will be sprinkled in there too, but you can rest assured that you will never see anything offensive, except perhaps if a poorly designed site assaults your senses.

AW Surveys seems to pay pretty high for these website reviews; sometimes as high as $6 for a set of two reviews. They always seem to come in sets of twos. You have to make $75 before you can cash out, and at first it seems like you could make that fairly easy. What people have found out, though, is that once you take the initial surveys (which are what they call them, though it is simply about reviewing sites), you won’t see more of them for a long time.

You can choose to have you’re A.W. Surveys payment as a check sent by mail, which they say will take 4 to 6 weeks to get to you, or they can pay you through PayPal or AlertPay. If you choose the latter two options, as most people would, you will pay a $25 “expedited service charge”, apparently for getting paid so quickly. That’s a bit of head-scratcher.

If you're looking to earn money online taking surveys, you will want to check our top recommendations for Legitimate and FREE Paid Survey Companies.

Note:  If you're on IM Report Card because you're looking for a way to make money online, then you should check out our top recommendation.  It's the best method we've found that anyone can use to earn income online.  Click here to learn more!

A.W. Surveys Reputation

It isn’t surprising that A.W. Surveys does not have anything close to a good reputation. Reports are that they don’t give you enough surveys to do, and if you do manage to hang in there and get enough money to cash out, you most likely won’t be paid. Some people claim to have gotten paid, but it seems that the majority of members aren’t. The administrators of the site seem to have a ready list of reasons why they won’t pay people. This looks like a site to avoid.

Great Scam

This site is a huge scam. It will give you welcome survey of $6 and you will get all excited but then you will never be able to reach the minimum payout of $75. This is a huge waste of time.

Not Paying!

I have to agree with everyone about this site. When I first signed up, which was a couple of years ago, I received a few surveys and then it just stopped. I was very close to payout and my account was closed. They are getting paid for every survey you do, but you won't see a thing. I definitely would not recommend this site to anyone.

Not so sure about this website

I earned twenty-seven dollars the first day, but then you don't get much after that. I do like that they have a page where you can join other survey websites. They have a contest you can enter by taking the monthly survey. I think the twenty-five dollar expedited service charge and seventy-five dollars cash out is ridiculous. There is no need for that. I have been a member of other survey website and they don't charge anything to pay me by paypal. It seems like redeeming by check is the way to go if you can.

I Would Say Pass

I was signed up to this site at some point. I was looking for a quick and easy survey site that paid a nice amount per survey. I signed up did a couple surveys got about $15, so I was like this was exactly what I was looking for... SO Far. Thing is they update their surveys reeeally slow I waited like 2 months and I didn't even see a new survey. It isn't worth the time if they are slow on putting up more surveys, so I'll definitely say this site is pretty lame.

Marginally hopeful

I am marginally hopeful. I have read a review of someone being paid. I have 53 in my account right now and most of that is from referrals. I understand the rules. I can see that there needs to be a lot of patience with this site. I am wondering if I reach 75 dollars if in fact I will get paid. I feel I am close. After the first payment, I don't think I would do it again.

I will say the review are painfully easy to write and take very little time. I can't imagine they are worth the pay given for them. So it makes sense if in fact this site is a scam.

Scam Scam Scam -The biggest scam site ever

I think the site is a big scam. It took me 2 months to reach the min. payout. It was really hard to make referrals on this site but when I finally reached the payout, they said that I will receive the payment within a week but still now my payment is pending.

No Surveys

I've been a member of AW Surveys for about 3 months now and except for the surveys I filled out when I first joined, there have been zero since then. It was free to join so I'm not out any money but at this rate it'll take years to get up to the $75 I need to accumulate before I can cash out. All this costs is time but in my opinion it isn't worth the time.

This site is a SCAM!

I think that this site is a scam. I signed up and did one survey. I couldn't believe how fast and easy it was. I did many more surveys, taking the time that told me to use and honestly writing about what I thought about the site that it told me to review. I did this for awhile. I had $75 in my account and cashed out. I waited for a month to receive the money, but it never cam. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone.

A. W SURVEYS ===>Big scam!

I've been waiting for this. My retribution at last. Ladies and gentlemen, this by far is one of the biggest scam sites ever. I initially went into this as a novice thinking I could earn a hefty sum with it's $6 ADD REVIEWS. I was so happy when it hit $27 in one day.

The next day I logged in, I did not get any adds to read. I thought I would get fresh ads in a few days and so left it like that. One week turned to 1 month and I was still stuck in $27. When I contacted the admin, he replied that I had to seek more referrals. So I diligently worked on recruiting referrals for A. W Surveys, but all my efforts went in vain. When I logged in after a few days, my account balance had dropped to zero and I was suspended from the website for using a fraud account. I wasted nearly three and half months on this site, and I was not even paid a penny. So my final comment would be to ignore this site if you ever come across it.

Keep Away From It!

It is one of the worst sites that I have tried out. They promised you a lot and in the end all you get is another scam site. They make tall claims about bonuses on sign-up but what you never get the chance to get the money. They rarely send you an email, and after a long time of waiting for surveys and submitting them, you reach the payout. But alas! There is no such thing as a payout in this site! Yea you heard it right, they don't pay you no matter what balance you may have. Be it $25 or $50, nobody gets paid.

You just wait and wait for the payment and then finally the feeling sinks in that you have been cheated. So I would request everyone to dare not try that site. Because if you do you will be wasting your precious time. I hope nobody else signs up there, and they run out of business soon.

It is a waste of time

When I became a member of this site, I thought it would be easy to reach the payout of $75. All I had to do was answer some 20-25 surveys which would be done in a month's time.

But I was disappointed to see that I could get only a single survey in a month. Later I came to know from other users that they haven't reached the payout on this site. It is a scam and not at all worth giving your time to this.

Won't say scam, but Pretty Darn Close

I remember seeing this website when I first got my own home internet connection. I don't remember if the payout was quite as high at $75 six years ago, but it was high enough.

I've learned in years since there are two types of Survey websites; ones that are actually interested in public opinion, and those that are actually Get Paid to Try websites. A. W. Surveys is the latter. They give you the first few dollars in introductory surveys, but in order to make any money, you will have to try the offers that they list on the website.

Furthermore, the fees they are charging after all the hard work you've done are absolutely ridiculous, the site makes money on the front end for those unfortunate enough to sign up for these trials, why should they need to take such high fees just to get the money to you???

Anyway, when I discovered the site for what it truly was, I discontinued my membership.

The only reason I won't call the site an outright scam, is that I can't find anyone who has the patience, whether they do the offers or not, to get to payout level.

It's a Scam

This site has turned out to be a big scam in my opinion. Not only have I never seen a payout anywhere for this site, but I hardly ever get to write any reviews at all. I got an invitation to do one each month that is only worth $1 each. With their steep cash out it would take me years to ever get any of the money. Completely worthless and most likely just a big scam in my opinion.

AW Surveys

I had great expectations for this survey site as they promised you could receive $75 from cashing out. I was pleasantly surprised the first two surveys I did which consisted of commentary on a website were credited quickly. The third survey they sent me was not credited, nor was the fourth or fifth. I came to the conclusion it would be impossible to cash out. I think I had 6 and that is where my account stayed. I think this site is definitely a scam that is not worth wasting your time on. When it comes to AW Surveys, don't believe everything you read.

A. W. Surveys

I am a current member of this survey site and I just read all of the reviews and I agree with every review. If you see this site, DO NOT waste your time! I have been with this site for eight months and the only surveys that I have received are the one dollar monthly sweeps drawing. Other than that, I log on every day without fail and I have not received any other surveys! My membership with this survey site will come to an end.

No pay

This website seems to promise a lot but don't be taken in on them. I, along with a couple others I know, have never received anything from them, pay wise. If you do reach payout, do not be surprised if you find that your account has suddenly vanished either. I have never received any pay from them, nor do I know of anyone who has either.

I hate AW Surveys

They are just a load of bs. They make it seem easy for you to leave a 3 lined feedback for sites but it's just a bunch of hogwash. Instead of deleting my account or letting me reach the cashout, they just went on ahead and reset my account back to $0. Now I thought the $6 or w/e was easy money that was supposed to have been made.

Just do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this site... unless of course you like being scammed.

It is a Scam Site written all over it

I have been a member of this site. It is really attracting to see such an offer amount which is really high and you can definitely say that A. W. Survey is one of the scam sites famous for it. They will give you a sign up bonus of $10 dollars and just participate on the surveys.

But then their threshold is way to high which is $100 and it seems that it is impossible if you don't get any surveys. For starters, they will give you 4 surveys, after that, your eyes will turn white because nothing else comes. Now when I check back the site, they reduce the threshold into $75. But then again, I won't recommend this to any of my friends.

This site has scam written all over it!

I belonged to this site for about a year. At first it seemed great, the signup bonus, the amount that the first reviews (you had to write at least 3 sentences about the site that they gave you, your opinion on the site) were worth was awesome! But after that I only got one each month. The cashout was $75, and I wasn't even close to it. So I started referring people like crazy. I have heard stories that this site is a scam and then I would see payment proof so I decided to keep trying to cash out. Well I did by referring people, and I got my first payment, second and then third. After that I tried to withdraw my fourth, I got an email telling me that my payment was denied and basically they were taking my $75. I can't remember their exact reason but I know I didn't do anything I wasn't suppose to. I did everything legit, advertised my butt off to get people to join so I could make cashout and then they ripped me off. I tried to contact them numerous times in the site, but never once did I get a response but my ticket was always resolved. When it comes to this site, I would run for the hills! I should have listened to those who told me that it was a scam. I know there are still people out there who get paid from this site, but I would watch out.

Very worthless

I wish I would've known before joining that they wouldn't send emails often enough for me to remember to log in. I didn't like that at all.

I liked that all you have to do is view sites and write a few sentences about them.

I had over $20 in my account and went to log in to see if anything was available to do. My account had been deleted for me not logging in for over 45 days.

I created a new account to see if my account was just deactivated just to find out it was completely deleted. I canceled the new account also.

A Scam in my opinion

After being a member with AW Surveys for over 1 yr, I never got

to $75 to cash out. I seldom received surveys. When I did,

I got $1 for each.

You have to get $75 in order to cash out.

I think this is a scam. Not one person I invited did I get a referral

$$ for.

I would not recommend A W Surveys to anyone.

Don't sign up

I joined this site a while back because I thought it was a great way to make some good money. It's not. The first day on this site I earned almost $4. That was my last time earning anything on this site. I tried contacting the site owner or admin and I still have not heard a word from anybody. It has been months now and still no response. You don't have to pay anything to join this site, and this site doesn't pay you. I tried logging into this site again after a few months of joining just to see if any more surveys was available, and my account had been deleted. Actually they did me a favor. I would not recommend this site to anyone.

Takes Forever to Earn the Minimum

I've tried A. W. Survey toward the end of last year. The first time, I was given a bonus survey and managed to get about $20 at one go; obviously I was delighted. As time went on, I discovered that surveys were hard to come by. It was just too simple - review two websites, and you get some "cash". However, I'm able to withdraw the cash only if I reached the minimum balance of $75! I managed to get a few dollars more within the next few MONTHS and I decided to stop at about $30 as it was taking way too long to achieve the minimum payout. I could have easily got over $10 in half a month from other websites. In addition, some of the websites were blocked or not accessible to my country. It was frustrating for me. Hope the rest of you have had better luck.

Another scam survey site

It was the very first get paid to answer survey site that I encountered and joined as well. I did not have any idea about survey sites and I was more than happy to see that just by entering one or two lines of my experience about a site, I can get paid 5$. Later I found out that only one 5$ survey was available there. All the other surveys were of 1$ each and those were only available once in a month. It is just impossible to reach the minimum payout of 75$ with those 1$ surveys each month. I also tried to contact the site administrator to ask if only one 1$ survey is available each month, but they never replied to my question. I tried to get some referrals but I had a hard time finding them. A lot of online money makers have previously encountered with this site and they told me this is a scam site. I too felt the same about this and left the site. I have not seen a single payment proof from this site yet and that proves this site is surely a scam.

Don't expect to be paid

This site is pretty much a known scam to those who work incentive sites.

They offer the $6 survey to begin with then pay you to "review" other GPT sites or trials as another member mentioned. You have to join the GPT sites in order to earn the payment for the review, so they are essentially building their downlines to these programs hoping they will earn some money off of you that way.

After reviewing several sites and watching your balance grow, you think that you'll reach payout soon, but then you run out of reviews to do. I have also spoken with other people who joined, reached payout and had their account deleted, supposedly for cheating and sometimes for no reason at all.

You also can't get a reply from them at all.

Don't spend your time with this one. You won't get paid! You'll just be wasting your time! I give this one a big fat "F".

A Big Scam

I was referred by a friend of mine who was also a member of A. W. Surveys. Because he was a beginner he was surprised to earn some 20 odd dollars the first day, and he told me so I also joined in.

The first thing I was given was a bonus survey worth $1. After that there were some six more surveys ranging from $4-$6. Nothing more to be done but just look at the websites mentioned in there and write a brief review about them. That was pretty easy, even I earned $24 the very first day. But then onwards there were no more surveys. I continuously checked the website for any updates and after one month there was another $1 bonus survey. This happened with my friend as well.

Above all even if you reach your payout level there is a twist, they have mentioned on the website that out of your $75 minimum payout you have to pay the website $25 as their commission. I mean why should you give away 1/3rd of the earning back as a commission when already you are working for them?

To sum up, this website is a total scam the surveys are from there sister websites and it is a total waste of time.

One of the Biggest Scams Online! Be Aware!

I cannot believe that this site is still online! Well, I joined it when I started making money online about two years back. At that time I was totally unaware about the word "scam"! I joined it and was really excited because I got six bucks on my first survey. The first day, I made a total of about $27 and was really overjoyed. But after then, I did not get a single survey. I contacted them but I got no reply. Then I researched about the site on Google. And to my surprise, I got really negative views about the site and came to know that it was a real scam. That was the day when I learned the word "SCAM"! It was a total waste of time. Now I logged in after seeing this site on IMRC because I nearly forgot about it and still I don't have any new surveys! Please do not join it!

Things which matter the most must never be at the mercy of things which matter the least.

This is not your easy way to fast cash

A friend and myself checked out this site along with some other promising sites. With the economy the way it is we thought it may be a good way to supplement income lost from pay cuts. WRONG! Not to repeat what others may all ready have said, but there is no real payout. It is a run around gimmick that pulls you in by giving you the first one and maybe you will get lucky and they will toss you another one every now and then but that is it. You can't get the funds because you will never have the minimum to cash out plus it takes so much time to get the survey you will just feel like not even wasting your time with it anymore. Just as most survey sites are, this one is another big scam. Please don't waste your time, I know I'm sorry I did.

Complete Waste of Time

I joined this site because it looked like you could make a lot of money. I was able to get $25 in my account within the first week and I was so excited. Then I learned that in order to get paid they will take $27 as the processing fee. I couldn't understand how it could be so expensive. Then I started to do more research on this site and learned that it was a scam.

They entice people with the introductory survey and the prospect of making a lot of money on the site. I kept the account open just in case something ever changed with the site, and about 2 weeks after signing up I stopped receiving invites to surveys all together.

My friend reached payout and tried to request it and they emailed her saying that they wouldn't approve her request without any sort of explanation. After that, I just closed the account and forgot all about it.

Huge Scam!

I joined this website in the hope that it wasn't a scam. I thought that everyone always jumped to conclusion that a site was a scam when you earn a lot of money, but I thought maybe it's not a scam, and I tried it out. I knew straight away it was a scam when I joined. Minimum payout was $75 and it only gives you around 3 surveys and you earn $10 for answering two questions. Like really, what website would give you $10 for answering two questions with one word answers?

It never had any surveys after that, so it was always impossible to reach minimum payout. However, even if somehow you were able to reach minimum payout and cash out, you would never even receive your payout. They have a sneaky little trick and only pay around 2% of members of the whole site so it doesn't look like they are a complete scam, which makes members want to join.

Seriously, it's a huge waste of time, so don't even bother.

There are currently No Surveys Available

I still have an account with A. W. Surveys and every time I visit the site I see the message "There are currently No Surveys Available", So if you want to make money from this site, get more referrals, but soon you will discover the fact that the site is a scam. This site asks members to "Please remember to log into your account at least every 45 days to make sure that is stays active!", but they don't have any surveys and the total you might make is $28 and the Redeem Amount is $75.

I would recommend that you close your account if you have one as it is a waste of time to try it.

Expect 4 years to get paid?

That's right. If you get paid! Let's see, they award you $6 for what they call a welcome survey. First their so called "surveys" which are

thinly disguised "trial offers" are aimed at getting you to guess what, yes, sign up for a trial offer. After the welcome survey they will present you with about 10 websites to review hoping that you will sign up at these sites. Even if you don't sign up, and write a short review, they will credit your account with the appropriate cash reward. At this point you might think that it is going to be easy to reach the $75 payout, but this is as far as you will get. They will only offer a $1 monthly bonus survey (that's what they call it). So by my math, even if you have $26 in your account after the first day, it will take you another 49 months to reach payout!

Please don't be wasting your time here.

Big Scam!

I was a member of this survey site like 7 months ago. I had like $55 dollars in my account and was this close to reaching the payout. I logged back in just this month because I had a full time job, and to my surprise, the site told me that they don't have my email address in their database. I did all the forgot password and stuff like that, but still I wasn't in their database. I was so disappointed because I thought it would help me pay the bills, I wasted so much of my time reviewing the sites, and it all went to waste. A big scam. Be warned.

Don't count on it

I signed up for this site long time ago but I didn't have any luck. I only remember getting 2 surveys from them. I am not sure if it was due to the fact that I live outside the US or they just do not have many opportunities for their members.

As expected, there are more surveys intended for people living within the US territory. But I do not think it makes sense that they rarely have surveys for international members.

If you want to earn money within a considerable time frame, then A. W surveys is not for you. I haven't reached the minimum payout, therefore, I cannot prove if they really pay or not. But regardless if I reached the minimum payout or not, it's not worth my time waiting for surveys from them.
