Bux Service Description

Bux-Service is a paid to click site started in April of 2009 and owned by John Tyler out of New York City. There are currently 25,354 members (14,897 of which are active members). The site states that they have paid out $7,863.72 to date. Members earn money by viewing websites for a minimum of 30 seconds and there is both free and upgraded memberships available.

Bux Service Detailed Overview

Free members are guaranteed five ads per day. They will receive 80 cents per click (0.8) according to the website, but elsewhere it is mentioned as .008 cents per click. And, members will also receive 40 cents (0.4) per referral click, but I believe they once again mean .004. and .002 commission on all direct referrals. Minimum cashout level is $3 (which grows by $1 for each subsequent withdrawal until a maximum of $9) all payments are sent within 48 hours.

Upgraded membership is available at $35 for six months and $60 for a year. Premium members are guaranteed 10 ads per day and will receive .008 cents for each personal click, .008 for each referral click, and .004 for each direct referral click. Payouts for Premium members are done within 24 hours. Premium members are also able to rent referral packages for a week. The cost of the referral packages start at 25 referrals for $7 all the way up to 1000 referrals for $400. Members then have the option of deleting the referral packages or recycling them.

Advertising packages for Bux-Service are available with targeted advertising (choosing the country(ies) you wish to advertise in). Only clicks generated by members are counted, all outside clicks are free. Packages start at 1,000 unique visits for $4 all the way up to 1,000,000 unique visits for $400. The cost per click is .004 regardless of the package chosen. According to my calculations, the advertising packages do not generate enough revenue to support the payments made to members.

Bux Service Reputation

Bux-Service does have a forum where members can go to receive information, but it would seem that the Admin is not answering questions any longer. There are a lot of dissatisfied members venting their frustration on there because they are not receiving their payments. Bux-Service has been placed on many PTC watch lists, so people joining this should try it out as a free member before investing in a Premium membership or purchasing referral packs. Bux-Service may get back on track and start paying out its members but, be cautious and sure of the situation before getting too involved.

Bux doesn't grow on trees!

This was one of many PTCs with the name "bux" in it that I tried just a month ago at the height of my PTC high. Everything seemed to be working fine until I realized the clicks weren't adding up to what they were supposed to, and when I checked the forum I was shocked to read numerous complaints of non-payment and the admin being MIA. Thinking that there was something fishy, I researched on the Web what some of the scam PTC sites were, and lo and behold, Bux Service was on the list. :( It's good that I got out of there quick, because the program has already packed up and left with everyone's money. It is now a cheap search site!

Terrible site!

I joined this site a couple months ago. Right before I decided to give up on all ptc sites because they are a big waste of time and you can't make any money unless you get a lot of referrals. Well I joined this site under the impression that you get .80 cents per click. This had me think it was most likely a scam. I joined to realize you get .08 per click which is still pretty high, but I tried it anyway. Of course I clicked around for a few weeks and made pay out. I cashed out and still till this day have received nothing. So it is a total scam and a big waste of time!

Let me spell it out for you S C A M

I fell victim to this site a couple months ago when I was working on some research for my blog. I was trying to accumulate a list of legit GPT sites and so I was trying just about every one I came across.

Thank goodness that I never invested anything other than a few minutes a day into this site. It looked nice with the high pay for clicks (instead of the normal 1/2 or 1 cent payment) so I signed up and started clicking.

I reached the pay out rate quickly and requested my payment - a month later I still haven't received it. I attempted to contact their customer service once, but I never expected an answer, which is good since I never got one.

I chalked it up to a bad experience, on of many on my legit GPT search.

Bux Service isn't what it seems to be

Bux Service claims that it is a website that pays you to click links. It flaunts the potential earnings you can make by "renting" referrals. I invested in premium membership and referrals, and I was happy and excited with my results. The design looks sleek, but it is nothing special. The site has no features separating it from any other bux.

I finally cashed out, and waited excitedly to get my payment. Days went by, and I had received no payment. I never did receive a payment. When I questioned support about this, they banned my account! I have seen many more people claiming the same thing that happened to me. I would recommend staying away from this site; it is just a little bit too shady.

My experience with BUX sites

Till now I've had bad experiences both with Bux-Service and BuxTraffic. Firstly I registered to Bux-Service and I made very hard those $3. After I requested my payout... I didn't get any money. Then I signed up to BuxTraffic. On their home page they were saying they were paying $0.015/ad clicked and $0.01/ad clicked by your referrals. When I started to click on their ads, I realized they weren't paying that much. When I checked "Statistics and Numbers" in the "Member Area", I saw they were paying only $07/ad clicked and $025/ad clicked by your referrals. I realized it is only a scam, so I gave up. I don't know what to think about these bux sites (I saw there are a lot of bux sites). When I searched on Google, I saw some people got paid by bux sites... maybe I was just unlucky.

Should Have Known

Well I should have known back when I joined a "bux" site that I would not get paid. I joined this one about 4 months ago and still have yet to receive my payout. The links are . 8 cents which is $8 so it takes a while to reach payout to begin with. I was so tired of waiting that I contacted admin, only to be ignored. I should have known that this site was a scam, as most of the bux sites out there are questionable. Yes, there are a few good, honest ones but they are far and few between. I would not recommend this site to anyone, as you can click your 4 ads a day and not get paid. Stay away.

Yes, a Bux site has done it again

People who create these Bux sites must think that we are fools. I joined this site during the same time I was joining a whole bunch of other PTC sites.

First of all, I like the layout. Black and Red are my favorite colors, but that's the only positive comment I can muster up about this failure of a PTC site.

The negatives of this site outweigh the positive. First off, the site is misleading. You do NOT earn 80 cents per click. No BUX site in their right and greedy mind will EVER give you that much money per click. I guess that's how they get unsuspecting people to join.

Second of all, while they do have a payment proof section, there really isn't payment proof to be found. After I finished clicking my 5 ads as a free member, I decided to browse through the forums and check out the payment proof section. I could not find one single thread where members had displayed their payment proof.

Seeing that there was no payment proof, I decided to bid this site farewell.

Not worth my time

This site pays $08 per click, not $0.80. It says so on the site, and I've been a member there for 3 months, and I haven't received a single click for $0.80. I'm not sure where you saw that. Also, every now and then, I can't access the site for over 5 days, but then it comes back up. I don't know if there's something wrong with my connection or not, but I'm beginning to think this site may not be legit. I first joined this site as part of a referral exchange, and recently the person I joined under told me to stop clicking there saying that bux-service is a scam and that they never got paid by them. I have now stopped clicking there, but just out of curiosity I checked out their payment proof section in their forum a few days ago and it was filled with spam posts about drugs, music etc. Also, I've heard people say that they post fake proofs in their forums. I don't know if this is true or not, but I'm not going to waste my time clicking on a site that doesn't have such a good reputation, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

No payment!

This is another typical Bux site. I believed the whole 8 cent payment thing, and I never got what was "promised". I kept clicking everyday and it took me a while to reach about $3.90. I cashed out and didn't think about getting paid because I thought, "I'd get paid. I don't have to wait for it." I finally realized after a week, I didn't get anything. I contacted support and they never emailed me back! How rude. I still kept clicking, then reached $3. I cashed out again and didn't get payment for that either. I was very angry and complained to the support. They told me that the payment would get to me soon, but nothing.

Not worth my time

When I first signed up for this site I was pretty skeptical. I clicked on the ads anyway, maybe around 6 to 8 ads per day. The site is very misleading because upon signing up they said that you will be paid 8 cents, but after I clicked on the available ads my first day I soon realized my account wasn't credited 8 cent per ad. I checked out the forum and that's when I saw all the complaints others were making about not receiving their money. You get little to no support on this site, and the admin or the site owner is missing in action. So since he stopped replying to my messages, I stopped clicking ads. I would not recommend this site to others because all you will be doing is wasting your time. Also, before signing up I got a message saying they don't support internet explorer and to use firefox or something else, but I was still able to click the ads and my account still got credited. Even though the payout is low, just $3, it will take a while to reach the cashout level without referrals.

ZERO Bux Service

If I could use one word to sum up this site it would be SCAM! The layout is very snazzy and enticing but don’t let it fool you. It certainly doesn’t do what it says on the tin. It states a minimum pay out of $3 (which took me about 3 or 4 months to achieve - 0.8 of a cent and NOT a dollar isn‘t a huge amount) but I’m yet to receive my payout, 3 months later. My advice to anyone would to be stay clear of this site it’s a waste of time and I feel bad for anyone who was duped into upgrading with them.

Bux service

I joined this site thinking that I would get paid. I signed up as a referral for a friend and was also happy to know that there was a forum where account holders could share their comments on any prevailing matters. The minimum payout is $3. I've crossed $3 and have gone up to $3.90 with some referral help. But I don't seem to be able to cashout. I tried to speak to the moderator through the forum but I never got any replies. Its as if the site has been abandoned. I still have my fingers crossed and hope to get paid. But I don't think that will happen. My opinion would be to stay away from this site. Its not worth it.

Yet another bux site... that's useless

What a nice professional looking layout this site has. It makes you want to join. So I did, awhile back. This is what happened.

I reached my payout minimum which was about $3 or so. I never got paid and 4 months later I'm still waiting for payout. I don't recommend this one.

I don't like this site because they promise payout within 48 hours, which they don't do. I do like that the forum is active, at least something is going on with this site.

No, I don't recommend this bux site to anyone. Of course if you want to try it, by all means do so, but don't expect payout.

This Site Just Isn't For Everyone

I tried this website in hope to finally find a way to make money online with out all the scamming and computer viruses I usually come across today. But just like the other sites, it seems to be a complete scam! Their cents adds up differently for instance (40) was like . 40 cents. What a waste of time! I spent days completing forms and the only things I ended up with was a ton of pop-ups and viruses in my virus vault, that took days of computer scans to fix. I really don't like anything related to this site such as bux.to or bux3. It's just not worth my computer crashing.

The best -- Scam that is

From my experience, bux-service is a complete and utter scam. I was fooled by the 0.8 the promise, only to find out it is 0.8 cents, not dollars. But, I was already up to about $2, so I figured that it's only a short way to go, and then I can get paid with the $3 minimum. WRONG. this site promised me that I would be payed in 48 hours, and I believed them. So, 2 days came and past, and my paypal was sitting there gathering moss with only a couple of dollars from another site in my account. I figured that it might be a server problem, and waited patiently for 7 days, hoping that the issue would be resolved. Instead, nothing happened. Now I was a bit annoyed, as you could probably imagine. I sent a flaring support ticket to the admin, and waited 3 days for a response, until I got a stupid "you will be paid in 48 hours" form response. I have been waiting for about a month now, and still no payment. For your own sake, don't use this site. It is a complete scam.

Another One That Doesn't Pay

I joined in June, thinking that maybe because it was a newer site, at the very least it would start out legitimate. I guess I was wrong about that. I really liked the layout of the site when I first visited it. I did find contradicting statements in the site, where in one area it claimed to pay one amount and in another a different amount was stated. That should have been a red flag for me, but I brushed it off as a typo and went on clicking.

I reached the initial $3 minimum payout in the beginning of September. I requested payout and have still not received it. I highly doubt they will ever pay. Frankly, I have given up on this site altogether, and I would advise others not to waste their time.

Another waste of time

Despite the stylish layout of the website, which I really did like, this site was another failure for me. I clicked until I reached the minimum payout and sent my request to the admin and have still heard nothing since.

The TOS claims that you'll receive 6-10 ads daily, but I never saw more than 4-5 per day and with no referrals, it took me quite a while to reach the $3 minimum. From looking at the site I can see how many people would be confused thinking that they will be making $. 80 per click, but if you look close it does say . 8 cents not . 8 dollars. Hey, that's still most of a penny, right?

I'm not holding my breath until I get paid from this site, and I can't suggest anyone else waste their time on it.

Definitely a scam

The site’s info is really deceiving, and I for one registered because of the high surf rate advertised. But in reality instead of $0.8 surf rate is actually $08, though it is still higher than most PTC sites. So I surfed for several months, with an average of 5 ads per day, it would take you 2.5 months if you surf religiously. Since there were days I missed surfing, it took me 4 months, and then I requested for pay-out. They claimed they paid within 48 hours, but 48 days already passed and I haven’t received my payment. I don’t need to wait for 48 months before I conclude that Bux Service is definitely a scam.

Such a waste of time!

I joined Bux Service May of 2009. You get paid $0.08 by viewing an advertisement for 30 seconds. As a standard member I get to click 5 ads a day. Just this September 3, 2009 I reached the minimum payout. I didn't have active referrals, that's why it took me that long to reach the minimum payout. I requested payout but still no money on my PayPal account. I tried to contact the admin through the forum, but the admin is not at all responding. If you go to the forum you'll notice that it is not anymore being monitored by the admin because you will see a lot of spamming. Rumors are spreading out that this site has been scamming it's members. Some even upgraded but never got their money back. Good thing I didn't upgrade. Such a waste of time.

Did not get my payment until now

I join this site soon after it was officially launched. The pay per click ad itself is really misleading because it says they pay $0.80 per click but the fact is they pay $08 per click and there only five ads available to free member each day and 10 ads to upgraded member. When I found out that the rate was only $08 I thought to myself it's fine because it's not to high like what they say in the main page. I continue clicking and after 3 months I reach the minimum pay out so decided to cash it out. Until now I never receive my payment and question to my quires. I should have take not at first that the site got misleading info from the beginning therefore they would not make it right and just scam people.

The promise rate is really good but I would say to everyone avoid this site because they would never pay you and the rate they have on the main page is lie. They never pay $0.80 cents per click it's $08 per click.

There's something wrong with Bux websites

I joined Bux-Service 5 months ago, hoping it would be a paying Bux website like some of the others I have used over the years. The website claimed to pay me up to $0.8 cents for each 30 second advertisement I view, and I would make another $0.8 cents for each referral that views a 30 second advertisements. At first I thought this was a scam because $0.8 cents is nearly a dollar for each advertisements, but then I thought to the other websites that payed you about $10 for every advertisements you read so I thought this shouldn't be that bad. The cash out minimum is $3 for the first time you cash out, and it increases by $1 every time you cash out until it reaches $9 it stops.

One thing that caught my eye was the fact that there was only 5 advertisements on the advertisement page. This was quite disappointing because I expected a lot more. I decided to continue to work on the website until I had reached $3 so I could cash out. Once I had enough, I cashed out and never have received my payment ever since. I would not suggest anyone to try this website out, just because the pay looks high, it's all a scam. Do your research before using it!

Don't even bother with this site

Bux Service is no longer in service, I guess. First of all, I wasn't really happy that in order to get your first payout, I should accumulate $3. This for me is kind of high, especially since I don't really have any referrals for the PTC sites that I joined. But I still joined anyway, thinking I could meet the $3 in due time. I clicked and clicked for more than a couple of months, and just like my experience with another PTC site, I requested for payout but never received it until now. It's almost a month since I waited, and I still haven't received a single cent from this site. I tried to get in touch with the admin but I never got any response, not even an acknowledgment of my complaint. Much to my dismay, when I read the forums, I wasn't the only one who didn't get paid. So I'm not expecting that this site will still pay it's members. My advice is to steer clear of this site. It's not worth the time.
