Lightspeed Panel Description
Lightspeed Consumer Panel Group is an online survey company. It is one of the worlds leading research companies, and through their surveys information is collected about products, services, and various types of advertising promotions. Lightspeed Consumer Panel was founded in 2000, with branches in the United States, United Kingdom, Asia, and Australia. It is owned by WPP which is one of the worlds largest communications groups and is traded publicly on both the London Stock Exchange and NASDAQ.
Lightspeed Panel Detailed Overview
As long as you are over the age of 18 you can join Lightspeed Consumer Panel. You will fill out a one-page sign up page and then do some general questionnaires to see which type of surveys you will most likely qualify for. Most members generally receive about three surveys per week, though not everyone who receives the survey will make it through the intial qualification for that individual survey. If you do fully qualify for a survey you can expect to make 75 - 300 Lightspeed points for each one. The more involved the survey is, the more Lightspeed points you will be rewarded upon completion.
Lightspeed points can be traded for cash, gift certificates, or select merchandise through the Rewards page on the site. Once you indicate that you would like to trade your points in, you are routed to perks.com where the actual redemtion takes place. You must accumulate a minimum of 600 points to be able to redeem them. The current rate of points to cash is 115 points = $1. And, if you decide that you want to trade your points in for cash you can usually expect to see it via Paypal within 3 days. If you redeem your points for gift certificates or merchandise, then it will take approximately four weeks for you to receive your reward.
In addition to surveys for Lightspeed points, you can also participate in mini-polls and quick match surveys. Neither of these qualify you for Lightspeed points (though the quick match surveys do help you qualify for more paying surveys), but you will receive an entry into a $5000 drawing for each one you complete.

Lightspeed Panel Reputation
Lightspeed Consumer Panel is listed by most professional survey takers as among their favorite sites. They state that the amount of surveys available allow them to reach minimal payout quickly and that they do receive their rewards in a timely manner. Most survey takers consider Lightspeed Consumer Panel to be one of the most reputable survey companies on the internet and recommend that their colleagues join. Though some negative reviews were available online, they seem to be centered around product testing that was handled by third parties and not through Lightspeed Consumer Panel itself.

Very good site If anybody wants to start making money with filling out surveys - that's the site to start with! This is the only site so far that started sending me surveys almost immediately and I cashed out several times so far. I can even cash out as low as 5 bucks via Paypal if I want to. I have been a member for about 2 months now and I cashed out may be 25-35 dollars. Not that 35 bucks is going to make me rich but is nice to get money for your efforts and time and not just some doubtful entrances to some sweepstakes. Overall I would recommend this site in case you like doing surveys.

Lightspeed- One of the better survey sites... I have been a member of Lightspeed Panel for a little more than 6 months and have never had a problem getting paid through Paypal. Lightspeed offers survey opportunities on an almost daily basis, and several days there was multiple surveys available. Each survey generally rewards your account with anywhere between 75-300 points, with the majority of the surveys at the lower end of the point scale (75-200 points) The 75 point surveys take about 20 minutes and the larger the point value the more involved the survey is. I have reached payout several times in my time with Lightspeed and have even qualified for a home study that paid 400 points, plus a small gift card payment from the client upon completion of the study. The downside... 115 points is equal to a cash equivalent of $1, making a 20 minute- 75 point survey a questionable value. Of course, you won't always qualify for every survey and I have gone a couple of weeks without getting offers and not qualifying for surveys. So don't plan on making enough money with Lightspeed to put a down payment for the Rolls Royce just yet! In all, it's a legit site that pays, when they say they will pay and all of the survey points can be transferred to cash awards ($5 minimum cash payout) |

Fast cash for opinions Lightspeed panel is one of many survey sites that I have belonged to for a number of years. What I like about the site is that they are very straightforward with their surveys and their payments. At the beginning of the survey, you will find an estimate of the amount of time the survey will probably take. These times are pretty accurate. You can also see exactly how many points you will earn for each survey. It is pretty easy to complete enough surveys to reach the payout threshold ($5). They also pay with Paypal and are pretty quick about getting the payments into your account. The only thing that keeps me from rating this site as an "A" is that I would like to see more surveys available. All in all, this is a great way to earn some pocket money, and toady, every little bit helps!

Overall a good survey site I have been a member of Light Speed Panel for over a year now. They send me constant surveys and if I qualify and complete the survey I receive points (that range from 50 and up). These points can be redeemed for cash (via pay-pal) or for merchandise and or gift cards. When I have enough points to redeem them for cash I always do. You need 575 for a $5 paypal deposit. I have been paid out by Light Speed over 5 times therefore I have never had a problem. I would say they are definitely good because they do pay out cash, however, I find their surveys to be rather long and redundant which at times can be frustrating. I have only encountered a problem with Light Speed once, one time I successfully completed a survey that would give me 175 points and when I got to the confirm it page an error kept popping up. I was so frustrated because it took me forever to complete the survey and I did e-mail customer service twice, they never responded nor did they ever give me the points. So you could imagine I was rather mad! I also want to add that you can do surveys via your mobile phone with this company. I usually get 1 survey every 2 months sent to my cell phone. |

Lightspeed experience  I have found Lightspeed to be disappointing compared to similar sites, with a limited number of opportunities to earn rewards. I joined several years ago and it was promising to begin with, but has since proven much less lucrative for me than other sites with similar offerings. Entries into the prize draw are not really much of an incentive, I prefer the concrete rewards of points. But these are difficult to accumulate as I receive few surveys. They do offer a good selection of rewards to exchange your points for, including Paypal transfers which is refreshingly different. Also the recently updated site is much fresher looking than the old version. Overall, the site is OK but there are others out there doing the same thing a lot better. |

A legit site for those that need extra cash Like all other survey sites, Lightspeed Panel will help put some extra cash in your pockets, but it will not by any means make you rich. The cashout system works in points, and you must have around 575 points to cashout, which is equal to 5 dollars. I have been getting a few surveys per week, and reaching payout is not difficult, but does take time. Overall it is a legit site and upholds it's promise of paying their members. |

This is a number 1 survey Site  Hello, I have been a member of Lightspeed Panel for a good 5 years and is one I recommend everyone to sign up for. You have to be 18 years old to sign up. You get anywhere from 75-300 points. Most times I get surveys worth 75 points but that is because the surveys are shorter. The only time you get more points is if the survey is longer. With your points, you can trade your points in for Amazon Gift Cards. You can even get money sent to your Pay-Pal. They have electronics you can earn and you can even earn gift cards for restaurants and much more. I recommend that you give this site a try. You won't be sorry, I promise that.

Great site I've only had experience with this site for a few weeks taking surveys, but already I have fallen in love with it. I usually get anywhere from 3-6 surveys per week, varying from 75 points to 500 points each, and usually 20 minutes to an hour to take. The surveys are usually pretty easy to take and fairly interesting. I don't know much about cashing out, but I'm almost at a $20 Paypal credit after only a few weeks. I've had a couple minor issues, but nothing very big. Overall, this is a great site and I recommend it to everyone.

Pretty good site, does pay I have done the surveys, but seems like the surveys are a bit long for the point values given. I have been paid before, so they are legit. The site is a bit confusing as far as the navigation. Pretty good site; just doesn't hold my interest. |

Lightspeed member I am a member of a lot of survey sites, but this one is high on my list of favorites! The surveys are interesting, helpful, & you may learn something about yourself. They have nice prizes on the rewards page. If you have a PayPal account, you can get a payment of $5 put in your account if you want, for just getting 575 points. Most of the surveys are worth 75 points, but some are worth 150 points! When/if you become a member of this site, after you sign in on the homepage, be sure to click on anything in blue. The first box on the homepage is where all your surveys will be. The next two boxes are there so that the site can get more information on you. Everything in blue that you click on & complete, = 1 sweepstakes entry. Have fun!

Great and legit survey site These surveys are great to take in my free time, and they're usually very interesting. I've been a member for about a month and have earned 75-150 points per survey. Although I've only completed 7 surveys, I think I'll stick with this site for a long time to come.

Easy to Reach Payout Lightspeed used to be one of my favorite survey panels. I still really like them because I almost always qualify and the points rack up very quickly. I've been paid twice so far through Paypal. However, my problem with them is that their support team has never been reliable. There have been several surveys I have taken that have not credited because of a technical problem that arose after I clicked submit. I contacted them about it with all the proper information, including some screenshots, proving I took the surveys. I never heard back and the problem went unfixed. If it weren't for how much money I make there, I wouldn't stand for it.

Get a real job instead  Lightspeed panel promises lots of money. When I signed up I had hoped they were true. I quickly realized that while it is a legitimate survey site that pays, it will often take weeks to accumulate points required to payout. That's only if you qualify for any of the surveys. I personally qualified for about two surveys in 3 weeks. So join Lightspeed Panel only if you have lots of patience accumulating points and answering repetitive questions on whether you live in a house and whether you have plans to buy a new car. |

I never qualify I know this site really pays when it's supposed to but it's rare that getting paid even is an option. I never believe when a site says it gives away $5000 but I gave lightspeed a shot anyway. In the past 2 months I only qualified for one survey (150 points) and I cashed out once back in May. I do have 15 entries in for the $5000 but that's unbelievable. In the past 2 months I only qualified for 1 survey. I keep getting denied after answering the first 4-5 questions. I do, however, recommend this site to anyone who likes to take surveys. They do pay, but it's not for me.

Easy Income, but difficult to qualify I joined Lightspeed about 2 months ago. I receive quite a few invitations for survey opportunities from them on a weekly basis. I just don't qualify for all of the surveys that I do take, and they don't give any other instant incentive just for attempting to complete the survey unlike other survey companies. The good thing is their surveys are usually interesting and don't ask repetitive questions. Majority of the survey invites will give you 75-150 points. I even completed a survey that was 500 points. I was really glad for that invitation since the minimum point value to receive a $5 Paypal payment is 575 points. I have been paid already once by Lightspeed to my Paypal, and I'm really close for another Paypal payment. |

I don't like Lightspeed! This is a survey site that is not for me. I don't ever qualify for their surveys and so I miss valuable points. Even though I do the match surveys and the surveys that are about me. Some other people might have great things to say about this site, but for me I don't like it. It is a complete waste of my time.

A nice survey site if you are looking for some extra spending money Light Speed Panel is a good survey site and they are legit and do pay as I have heard from other people getting paid. I joined LightSpeed Panel about 2 years ago. I do not take their surveys all the time though as their surveys can be quite long. You will not get rich off of doing surveys off of this site but you can make some extra spending money to go out to eat by yourself, husband, family, etc. or you can spend it on other things you need. I have not cashed out yet but I feel that the paypal option is good because it pays you faster than getting the gift cards. The gift cards would make nice Christmas gifts depending on how many you redeemed.

A fairly good site... I'm with the UK arm of LightSpeed Panel and have been for the past couple of years. I can't say I've enjoyed most of the surveys I've qualified for on there, but they have been bearable. What I like the most about LightSpeed Panel is I have the option of receiving payment via Paypal. Quite a few survey sites don't have that particular advantage and send out cheques instead (Global Test Market and Home of Research, to name a few). A couple of observations I've made about LightSpeed this year is that the surveys have become longer while the points on offer have decreased. I also noticed that I was qualifying for fewer surveys than I used to. For those reasons, I tend not to use the site as frequently. However, I think LightSpeed is a fairly good site - one of the best ones out there. |

Wasn't Impressed... I've been a member of Lightspeed here and there since '04 and ever since then I have never been able to qualify for any type of survey! I'm not sure what the qualifications are. I believe all requirements are different, but I've never gotten past the first 2 questionnaires of any survey! It's always something about race, age, kids living in the household, me not being a smoker, I don't know! But with this being the case, I'm just unimpressed with what this site has to offer. Well, I guess that's any survey site. They're all giving me the same type of blues. With the widespread hype about Lightspeed, I thought I could at least get one survey done; huh, nodda one!

Good site, but can be difficult to qualify I've been a member of lightspeed for years now and have used their service a bit intermittently over that time. They do often give quite a fair number of points for completing their surveys, although you certainly can't get rich off it. All in all this site is legit, but it can be slow to accumulate points for the reward you want and it can be difficult to meet the criteria of many surveys. |

I enjoy the surveys I have been a member for a year now and enjoy the surveys I get from them. I have also liked that I have earned around thirty-five dollars from them since joining them. I recommend anyone who joins this website to visit each day since sometimes they give surveys each day. The prizes are great in my opinion. I like to transfer my money into my paypal account. This is not a get rich survey place, but it does give you some extra money.

Pretty decent I had joined Lightspeedpanel in the past. It was a very legit site. But if you are thinking of signing up for this, don't expect to become rich. I agree that the amount they give you for the surveys is decent and can add a little something to your income. But don't expect Lightspeed to pay all your bills. It is very easy to get to the maximum payout amount and I keep getting new survey offers daily. I try not to fill out the ones that ask for credit card information as I do not like giving out that kind of sensitive information over the Internet. Overall, it's a great site that can add a little boost to your income. |

Great Survey Site, but don't expect to get rich This is one of the more reputable free survey sites on the internet today. I have been a member of LightSpeed off and on since 2003. Although the look and feel have changed, and they have had many partner survey sites come and go, they still are solvent in paying their members. Yes, you will make money by signing up to Lightspeed Panel. However, don't expect to make a livable income from this, or any other reputable survey websites. Although Lightspeed panel offers many paid surveys to it's members, the truth of the matter is YOU WILL NOT QUALIFY for every paid survey available. There is the potential to make money, but it is not steady dependable money. In short, LightSpeed Panel is one of the websites you definitely want to join if you would like to take up a hobby of taking surveys for cash, but don't expect to get rich from it. |

Real place for real money Normally I don't join sites that do the point system, but a friend of mine suggested it so I tried it and I like it. They give you a fair amount of surveys for a fair amount of pay, and they don't overwhelm you and you don't get turned away if you don't do one. The payout is relatively easy to reach. This is, is my opinion, a really good site.

One of the better survey panels I've been involved with Lightspeed since June 2009, and I consistently get survey offers that I am able to complete. The surveys can be long and rather tedious, but at least you are reasonably assured you will get paid (I get $$$ in my paypal account from the reward points they offer). The overall pay is probably average to below-average, but given the amount of surveys you can take and the promptness of the payments, I can trust these guys. With most survey panels (as I have now learned), it's anything but a get rich-quick scheme. It's just a way to put a few dollars in your account regularly for sharing your opinions on a variety of subjects.

Lightspeed Panel rocks I am more or a less a professional when it comes to taking surveys as I have been doing it for over two years. I have to say that Lightspeed Panel is the best company that I have come in contact with. They send frequent surveys that are tailored to you and your profile. They have offered cash out with paypal which is very fast to process and you are usually paid within a week after putting in your request. There is no indeterminate period waiting for a check to come. Most survey companies will take up to six to eight weeks to send you your earnings. Lightspeed also gives you an opportunity to evaluate the survey you have taken and how much you enjoyed it, as well as your commentary on it. I cash out at least every other month and sometimes every month with Lightspeed Panel. They also offer other compensation other than monetary if you are interested. I love Lightspeed Panel. |

Great site I have been a member here for awhile now. I was having problems with a few survey links that were sent to me and I emailed them letting them know. I got a response in under 24 hours. I also got the problem solved within a day. You get great support on this site. You can decide to catch out through paypal or through claiming a gift. The surveys that I qualified for didn't take long to complete and the compensation I got for completing them was very reasonable. I only get a few survey invitations per week from them. You could get more, but it all depends on your profile information. They have been around for a while now. As a matter of fact, I have been a member here for almost a year now and have received some great rewards for my participation. I would recommend them to others.

Lightspeed is Legit Lightspeed panel survey is one of my favorite sites. I joined them about two years ago. They always have a lot of surveys to offer. They also have a big selection of rewards. If you want gift cards they offer them, or cash to paypal plus a lot of other rewards. Very easy to get a lot of points. Has always been a great site to be a part of. I would recommend it to anyone. Friends, Family or anyone on line who likes to be rewarded for their opinion.

Pretty good There's not a thing I would've wanted to know before joining. I like how they send emails all the time with links to the surveys. The only thing I don't like is their new "ConsumerSay" panel they want people to join. From the ConsumerSay site: "During the registration process, we will ask you to provide information about your credit card and bank accounts." I'm not comfortable with that and there's not an option to say you don't want to join, so it's sitting there on my members page under "Surveys". Overall, it's a pretty good survey site, but over the course of the past year I've only made a little over $20. |

I also recommend them I was a little put off at first because of the "point" system, but quickly realized how it worked. They send interesting surveys and it isn't hard to reach the minimum like it is with some of this type sites. I've been paid 3 times so far by them, so they DO pay. I don't do surveys much anymore, so it's been a while since I did any surveys with them. If you have time to sit and complete surveys, by all means, add this one to your list! They are honest, reputable and they pay! |

Worthwhile Site! I have found that Lightspeed is one of the few 'legitimate' and worthwhile survey sites out there. I joined about a year ago and have actually been able to make money. I get a couple of emails a week for surveys-some short, some long, varied subjects. It's easy to get to 600 points and cash in. They keep their word too -- and pay in a timely manner. Excellent place for people to get into the survey for pay business. |

Reputable Survey Site I have been a member of the Lightspeed panel survey site for about six months. I also belong to quite a few other survey sites. Lightspeed in my opinion ranks high on my list. They frequently send me invitations for their surveys which are not hard to do and do not take forever to finish. They reward each survey with points that can be converted to cash. Minimum payout is 575 points which is equal to five dollars. I have received numerous payouts through paypal, or you can take your earnings in gift cards and other means. They are quick to make payments, and also give you entries into their sweepstakes as well. If you like doing surveys for extra income, please feel free to add Lightspeed to your list.

Further comments on "Lightspeed Panel" have been disabled ... Sometimes the merits of an item reviewed are pretty cut and dry, and/or there's only so much that can be said about it.
