PowerBarClub Description

PowerBarClub is an advertising based membership program created by internet marketer Patrick and Tracy Monteforte that allows people to earn money by installing a special toolbar and reading ads through this toolbar. Members earn a share of the advertising revenue that the program brings in every time they read a participating advertiser’s ad. They can also recruit others to the program and get a percentage of what the people in their downlines earn.

PowerBarClub Detailed Overview

PowerBarClub is a fairly easy program to belong to. First of all, it’s free to join, and there aren’t any paid levels that they encourage you to upgrade to, which is refreshing. Basically, what you do is join the program by registering, then log in with your username and password, and then download and install the toolbar into your browser. It only works with Internet Explorer or Firefox, though, but they make this clear so there’s no confusion.

Once the toolbar is installed in your browser, you can click on the part of it that says “ads” and click on the ads that will show on the left side of your screen. Each ad that you click on will earn you 3/10 of a cent, and there are also some 10 cent ads, but it doesn’t look like they’re active yet. After you’ve filled out your account information, you’ll also see your current earnings on the toolbar, and they’ll update automatically each time you finish viewing an ad. To be safe, it’s best to make sure that the earnings number changes before you stop viewing an ad. This usually takes only a few seconds.

Obviously, the real money in being a PowerBarClub member is in building a downline from which you can earn commissions. Your downline can go seven levels deep, and you earn money from each level, so it can add up. The program provides members with recruiting tools and everyone gets their own recruiting link. The fact that it’s free to join makes it easy to recruit as well.

Note:  If you're on IM Report Card because you're looking for a way to make money online, then you should check out our top recommendation.  It's the best method we've found that anyone can use to earn income online.  Click here to learn more!

PowerBarClub Reputation

PowerBarClub is a fairly new program, and so far it seems to be generating positive feedback. The creators of this program, Patrick and Tracy Monteforte, have good reputations in the online money-making industry. Payout minimum is $10, and it does seem to be difficult to find any claims from members about being paid, but the newness of the program could explain that. In the recruitment pitch on the main site, they claim that you can make tens of thousands of dollars in one month, which is highly unlikely. That kind of sales pitch isn’t unusual, though. The bottom line is that it’s free to join, so there’s really no risk to try it out.

Not Worth Your time

This is a classic example of a good idea gone wrong. The only good thing about PowerBarClub is the fact that the toolbar is free to download and from there it goes downhill. The amount of money that you make is so minuscule that it takes months to earn even a dollar. I've been a member for several months and I am only at . 60 cents. That doesn't even make it worth the effort. This is a total waste of time and I really wish I didn't waste my time thinking that I would actually make any type of real profit, so my advise is don't even waste your time with it.

Overrated, difficult, boring

PowerBarClub is not that good, no matter what others say. Their website is shady and doesn't tell in detail what you are going to get. That's a bit suspicious, yes?

When you download the browser toolbar you can start clicking advertisements. Unfortunately only few advertisements were available and they were worth under one cent, no ads worth of 10 cents at all. It's impossible to make even some little pocket money there. After many weeks, I had earned about 50 cents, which is nothing.

You would need 10s of referrals to reach to payout of 10 dollars. I wonder if it's even possible to get active referrals, as they would probably leave quickly just as I did. PowerBarClub is overrated, don't waste your precious time.

What a waste of time

I joined this site in July and to date have made 0.08. If the PowerBarClub told me it would take me 6 months to make a dollar I wouldn't have went near it. The 1st 2 months I was on it everyday and got a few others to join, and still this was all I made, very disappointing!

Not worth your time

I've been a member of the PowerBarClub website since the beginning of last month and I only made 40 cents. I would not suggest this website to anyone because it's not worth your time. Honestly I thought that the 10 cents would add up a little faster. I did not expect to get rich from the product, I mean that would be stupid, but I thought that 10 cents would add up pretty nice.

Do not expect getting payment

I've tried PowerBarClub about four months ago and it proved my expectations of being SCAM. The good thing is that it was free, so at least no money were lost. I installed the toolbar and started waiting for ads. After almost one week I've got my first ads and started clicking. It took me quite a lot of time to reach the money needed for payout- about month and a half. The price paid per ad was ludicrous- under 1 cent and even if the site was paying, just because of that it's not a good idea to waste your time.

I requested payment but now, after so much time I haven't received a single cent. That site is certainly is a big waste of time and a certain SCAM, you should not be trying.

Too slow earner

I joined powerbar a couple months back and to date I have . 62 in my account. When I first joined, I promoted it like crazy and even got a few signups, clicked on the ads every day too. This might work for those that have a larger downline but otherwise it's slow getting to the $10 payout.

Powerbar club not a scam

I joined PowerBarClub just over a week ago and have had no problem with the toolbar. I also have made the $10 minimum payout and did receive that in my paypal account ... any of you that have recently joined and then quit must not understand that no company is just going to give away money. It is an advertising company that pays PowerBarClub each time their ad is viewed. Yes you will need to click ads and yes you will need to build a downline, both of which are incredibly simple to do. You can't just join and expect to make millions overnight ...

This is a total waste of time

I have had this PowerBar installed for about 6 weeks and you are always having to make sure your signed into the bar or you get nothing, but then again, you don't get much when you are signed in either.

I am surprised that no one mentioned the big $. 25 Bonus they give you to start with. Well I am about to uninstall it myself and say a sad goodbye to the $. 283 I have made since I started lol.

No more wasting space and time that could be used in so many better ways than this junk.

Looked good, but disappointed

I joined PowerBarClub because it was free, and the idea seemed fun and original. I liked it at first, even though the going was slow. It was nice to be able to click and surf simultaneously. After a couple months, I managed to reach the payout. I was a little suspicious that the payout was $10, most PTC programs have a lower payout. I kept with it anyway, and requested my payout. Soon after I found that I had good reason to be suspicious. I never got my money, and contacting them hasn't resulted in an answer. It smells like a scam to me, so I'll be staying far away from now on.

An Overall Letdown

About a month ago I joined this site after getting many emails and newsletters promoting PowerBarClub. I was very wary about this program from the start because it just didn't seem very trustworthy to me. I joined anyway though since everyone was promoting it so heavily. I was proven right after joining though because you only get paid 3/10 of a cent for each ad click! It would take forever to reach the ten dollar minimum. Plus I have never seen one payment proof from this site! I would stay away from this site and find a better more trustworthy one that actually pays its members.

The Easiest and Best Way to Make Money Online Neobux

Just another toolbar download

In my 6 or so years of marketing online, I have seen toolbar programs come and go, and have yet to find even one that is remotely lucrative enough to make me want to keep it on. PowerBarClub is no exception. This is an old scheme that seems to not want to die. It is based upon the promise that all you have to do is download a toolbar and "poof" income will automatically appear in your account. As with all toolbar programs (and most other pay-per-action sites), the only way to make money is to recruit A LOT of other people who spend A LOT of time clicking and searching. Time is an Internet Marketer's most valuable commodity. I don't have enough of it to waste on low paying programs. It should also be said that there are some serious loading issues with the site and my computer reacted strangely to it. Not sure if anyone else had this experience, but it seems to be typical for toolbar downloads. If you must run some sort of toolbar, run something useful to your marketing efforts, like the IM Report Card toolbar, or a search bar that rewards you, but don't expect to make money from your toolbar.

Very Overrated!

I guess because this program is new is why the buzz is so strong, but this is nothing more than a hyped up ptc site geared toward the US! Sorry to say, but this program is not for real. I was getting hit hard on forums, facebook, and IM about this program. I didn't care for it too much, but as usual curiosity took over and I was duped into promoting another ptc program!

But this time was "different", I got to download a special toolbar that lets me click ads when I sign in to my browser - Whoopy! No, not cool! It's the same thing, not enough ads to click, maybe a tenth of a cent when clicked, building a downline which shoots your credibility down when they realize this is another whack program! I was told by a few of my regular referrals after joining this not to send them anymore programs unless it's proven to make money, they really didn't like this at all! It took me several days to make $1 and after reading a few emails from the newsletter, it seems one of the most active people is claimed to be earning around $50 per month with this! Well, that's far from the thousands claimed by the promos! Obviously, I never reached cash out so I can't say if they're paying or not, a wonder if anyone has?!

Maybe if the program was upfront about what's involved in building this, it'll have better results! But my referrer, myself, and my referrals all decided it wasn't worth the time and effort! I say, it's not even good enough for the ptc lovers!

Seems to be too slow, not enough for earning

PowerBarClub seems to be all over the internet these days. I saw this site advertised on many other PTC sites I belong to. The site promotes that they have a toolbar that allows you to surf as you normally would, but the toolbar gives you ads to click on for earnings. I decided to join and was faithfully clicking for over a month, however I never seemed to get many ads to click. I can not say whether this is a scam or not as I have never reached payout, however I decided to quit this site because it was just too slow. It almost reminded me of cash fiesta which ended up being a scam. Either way, you can check it out and you might have some success, but I just never got enough to click on.

Disappointing

I joined this program a month ago and have already given up.

Presentational video clip had convinced me to join. So I downloaded a toolbar.

I don't know whether it is due to where I live (number of ads sometimes depends on location, but I really don't know if that is the case with PowerBar), but I got very few ads a day and absolutely no 10 cents ads. I have had some referrals under me, some of them have told me they weren't successful as well. Number of ads is very low.

So I would say it is pretty useless. Their advertising is pretty convincing, but they fail to deliver.

Very deceiving site!

I joined because someone referred me into this great opportunity a month ago. At first it looked great, I could earn money clicking in a toolbar! It surely beat paid to click sites, as now you can visit all your favorite sites and get paid clicking a link at the top!

Now in that time, I made very little money, as there were fewer ads to click everyday. The problem I think with this site for me was that to actually earn good money, you have to refer people! While it sounded easy, it is actually hard getting people to join. I was also scared the toolbar had adware or spyware, so after a month of disappointment, I uninstalled the bar and quit the site.

I do not recommend this site, as it will take too long to get paid without referrals and they take forever to pay you!

It is Still in Pre-Launch

I am a member of this site. My earnings so far are less than 1 (one) dollar. All I am getting is what they refer to as training material. You get credit for those, not very much at all, and there is a limit to the amount you can click on. I've yet to see any 10 cent ads.

Right now, I am not promoting the site. Why? Because I do not want members to become discouraged because there is nothing really to do but promote the site.

When I see the site is fully operational, I will return with other comments.

Don't waste your time here!

I joined PowerBarClub when it was in prelaunch. I thought it sounded good with having "the bar". One thing that I will give them credit for is they had some "webinars" to help explain everything. However, unless you are good at getting referrals you won't make hardly anything. You get 3 for each ad that you view and you only get 10 ads a day to read. It is quite confusing because you have 2 different websites involved. They make out it as special because you get to "choose" the ads you want to view. So you fill out a form of your interest in which type of ads you want to view. But, even then the ads were not really "special". I never did reach the payout amount; I just quit because I could see it was REALLY a waste of time.

I never received my payment

A few months ago I decided to join Power bar Club. This was a waste of time. I didn’t had to invest any money but I never received my payment. When I finally reached pay out I heard nothing from them. I contacted support any they just ignored me. At first I thought this is a very good website. I liked the simple interface and the toolbar. I was happy that it worked fast and was planning to do this for a long time. Unfortunately I had to give up because I prefer to do something which brings me money.

Beware.. it's a scam Site

After several months join on PowerbarClub, with faith that this website is reliable, ultimately I am disappointed with it because the payment that I requested before has not been sent. Even PowerBarClub has a good facility as new breakthrough *we can click on the ads but still can do other activities on the internet at the same time* I strongly do not recommend this site, better use your time to a trusted one.

Free, but still a scam

I joined the Power Bar Club about three months ago because it was free, and I really liked the idea of a ptc site that had a toolbar so you could surf and click your ads at the same time. I used it for a month before finally making payout. It was real simple and easy to use and I liked it a lot, but after making payout and requesting it I no longer did. This was because I never got my money and the site is a scam. This is a shame because I really liked how it worked and the idea they had for the ptc site. I didn't try sending any emails to support because I knew already that I wouldn't get any response because the site truly isn't legit and I suggest you to stay away.
