ReadBud is a free to join "get paid to" website that currently has 8270 members that are receiving compensation for each article they read. Each member chooses the types of articles they want to read and once read, they provide feedback to the author regarding how good the article is. For advertisers this is a great way to get articles regarding their product or service in front of an interested audience. Since each member chooses the topics they are most interested in, advertisers can be assured that the individuals reading the articles are interested in the subject matter. This interest can directly lead to sign ups and sales.
To get started as an article reader on ReadBud the only requirement is to fill out a simple membership form. Once the form has been submitted the member will be able to choose the types of articles they want to read and start reading immediately. Each article has a different payout according to the amount the advertiser is willing to pay. Once the article is read and rated, the amount being paid for that article is added to the members account. Members are paid via Paypal once their account has reached the minimum $50 level. This is a simple and easy way to generate a little additional money and also a great way to learn about new things going on regarding the topics you are most interested in.
Advertisers with Readbud are able to get their information in front of a highly targeted audience and they have two ways to do it. They can either write articles regarding their offers and actually have them read and rated by ReadBud members or they can have ads placed on other articles. The ads are not placed randomly, they are only placed on articles regarding the niche that the advertiser is promoting. Each advertiser will have access to a global audience that has already been pre-profiled, but they can also choose to have their audience narrowed even further with more stringent targeting. Campaigns are simple to manage with advanced article building software, budget management, and detailed reporting. The cost for having the article read is only 20 cents per click and gives each advertiser complete control over their advertising budget. The number of views desired is paid for in advance and once that amount has been reached then no other charges will occur.
I am a member of ReadBud and it is extremely simple to use. If you are messing around on the computer then you may as well take a few minutes and make some extra money. The amount paid for each article is actually very good especially when compared to other "get paid to" options available online. For an advertiser there is not any other advertising option available that is as highly targeted as ReadBud and the cost is fairly inexpensive. Unlike most PPC or PPV websites the targeted audience will spend time actually looking at and reading about what you are offering.

Great site, hope is true! When I found out about readbud.com I was excited, this is a great site for me, because I have very much free time, and I am really bored. It`s great that I can read something interesting, and earn money at the same time. I joined in 28 june, and now I have $14 in balance, I think I'll need a month to get to that $50 to cashout, but I don`t mind. First I was earning about $1.3 per day, but now I earn approx $0.80 per day, but I don`t mind as long as this site is not a scam.

Lazy way to make money Readbud is a lazy way of making money and very simply to use it all you have to do is register which is free, chose a maximum of 50 interest article and they send you related topics on the chosen articles which you rate and get paid. But the problem with this site is that the payment for each rating is very low and the number of article sent per day is also low. I registered last week, the first day I only got 13 articles to rate and was paid 43 cents, the next day 50 cents now I have about $12 and I don't know when I will get to the $50 payout, the site is somehow frustrating but good for everyone that needs extra cash.

Paid to read and rate articles Readbud is a program that will give money to every member free of charge. They just told us to read and rate an article, then we will get the money. Each article is given a different price, readbud gives $ 0.02 to $ 0.1 per article. We also can increase revenue by seeking a referral, each referral we get them to give $ 5. For a month I joined this program, the collected balance has reached $ 30. But lately the articles already started becoming fewer, so to get $ 1 a day is very difficult. I do not know if the program is a scam or not, because I have not reached payout, but I also have never heard if the program is deceptive. To reach the payout balance must reach $ 50.

It's works but has a problem at the moment Well I have joined in this site and have $20 in my account. I know readbud.com from my friend, and he had his 1st payment on 31st may. I have seen the proof, he got $66! So I can't say that readbud.com is a scam. It is real and works. But if you open a readbud.com at the moment (when I type this comment), you will get this message from opening readbud: "Service Unavailable HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable." I don't know what happened. After I searched on google, then I found that it's under a maintenance process, so it is not available at the moment. But, how long? I'm afraid that readbud will never be online again. |

Great site, I recommend this to anyone interested in reading Well I've joined this site for almost 3 weeks now and I have earned $20, since most of time I get only a few articles, but hey it's extra money, and I know everyone wants that. Minimum payout is only $50, great site for people with extra time, it's fun reading articles that you're really interested in.

Not the best I have been with readbud for about two months now and have just reached $20. At first, I would make around $1 a day and read about 50 articles. Now, I am lucky to earn a few cents reading the few articles they provide me with. $50 is too high a payout; it's going to take forever to reach. I have stopped logging in, because there is rarely an article. Honestly, I don't think readbud is worth the time and commitment.

I am loving it! I started using this website a little less than a month ago and so far I love it. You can easily earn $1 a day, you can also make multiple accounts. It only takes a few minutes a day to do this so I see no reason everyone does not do it. It might not be much, but it can add up if you continue to use it.

A Good Website for Articles Reader I have joined readbud.com one month ago and find it a real paying website that only pays you for rating an article, the choice is yours and you have to make a decision about an article into 1/1 (Poor)to 1/5 (Excellent). I make at least 1 Dollar per day by giving just 15 minutes and made $16 till now. But the main thing is whether they will pay the users or not, still not confirmed as some of the guys have a proof of payments. But we still would be wondering and waiting for the min payout, lets see. Good luck. |

Earning plus learning = awesome I've joined readbud since April 2010, and I've earned $15(fewer articles than before. ) However, I enjoy earning with this website. I get paid for reading articles, and learn something new, too. Unfortunately, I don't the referral things in readbud. For each referral cashout, you get $5, seems pretty much, but with the long time, the money is not that worth it. I choose readbud because I can read articles and earn money at the same time, and about the referral, I don't like it much. Have fun with readbud guys.

I am at a loss with Readbud I joined Readbud in March 2010 and was cruising along earning $1 a day. At this rate the site was awesome so I wrote an article about Readbud and how great I thought it was. I continued earning $1 a day until I got to the $30 threshold and then the money just stopped coming. I am lucky if I get 10 cents a day from them now. It is really disappointing because I was so excited about the site in the beginning that I got 25 friends to join under me. Now I am sorta embarrassed because my referrals are struggling with the same problem I mentioned and I feel like it is my fault because I referred them to this site. One of my referrals actually reached payout but I did not receive the $5 bonus for referring her. She requested her money but she has not received her payment yet. When I try to contact anyone over at Readbud I never get a response which is another bad sign. I am still hanging in there with this site until I reach payout. I have about $42 plus the $5 they owe to me so if it ever comes through I will be able to request my payout and see for myself if it is a scam. I'll let you know if I ever get paid. |

Why my readbud?? I join readbud since march 2010, now I have earned about 42$.But I am actually disappointed because articles which come to my readbud ID are fewer than before. When I first joined I could earn $1 per day, but now I only can earn 0.11$ per day But I still do my readbud because my money in readbud is quite much, hopefully I can get more articles. |

When Will I Cash Out with Readbud? I found out about readbud through mylot community and honestly, I started making one dollar per day. As soon as I got to to about $35, I started getting less and less articles. I am currently at about $38. It seems like it will take forever to reach pay out. I told my mother about the site and although she hadn't seen or heard of it before, she was visibly angry with me and assured me it was a scam. I tried to tell her it wasn't and figured she was just protecting me, but now I'm starting to wonder. I now make about 10 cents per day, and at that rate, it could take a couple of months in order for me to be able to finally cash out through my paypal account. I just hope it's not a scam, because $50 right now could change my life. |

Side by side Well, what I say about it many people already posted their comments to this, but this is a site about which I definitely want to say something, its amazing. Its not only an easy way to earn, but also an excellent place to enhance your knowledge, believe me. I am also a member of this site and earning through this and also learning many things. For example, I am an internet marketer so when I have to choose 50 articles to read and rate, I decided to choose the specific articles which related to the marketing field. I am so glad to learn many tips about my profession so, any one can do so and make earnings and learn side by side. And whenever you want you can change your desirable topics and enjoy them. |

Fifty-fifty I've been a member of Readbud for two months now, and I already have $42 in my balance. At first I used to earn about one dollar per day, but after few weeks there was less and less articles to read and rate. Nowadays I get under ten articles per day, which is a very low rate. I still need $8 to cashout and I'm afraid it will take a month at least, if the amount of articles are not going up. I'm wondering if Readbud really pays as their pay rate is so high. I've seen some payment proofs but even those could be photoshopped. But, seems that there are no complaints about not getting paid, maybe that's something? Their website is pretty professional looking and they even have a blog which is updating every now and then. Shame there's no forum. I also noticed their Google advertisements were changed to Bidvertiser and Infolinks. I'm not sure what to think about Readbud - I guess it's fifty-fifty, could be a scam, could be a legit site. Only time will tell when I'm going to ask for my payment. |

Used To Be Great... Went Downhill ReadBud was one of those sites that started out promising and just went downhill more and more as it developed. It started out as a cool concept, read and rate articles, and get paid for doing it. I love reading so it sounded great to me. I got to pick certain interests for articles that I liked so that made it even better. I was earning a nice $1-2 per day by simply reading short articles and I was happy. Then, like all good things, it started to come to an end. I was getting less and less articles. I was earning less and less money. When I would once earn $1-2, I was now getting $0.20-40 in a day. With a high cash-out point at $50 and my balance being around $20 at this point, it doesn't seem like I'll ever reach it. I have heard some rumors going floating around about a change of management so I hope that's true and once everyone is settled in the site can come back to the great point it was at. Honestly I still like it now, getting paid to read articles about sports and video games is like the best idea ever, but I simply can't earn any money with it! I would recommend you wait a month or two to see if things get better if you haven't signed up yet, but don't bother right now, it's just not worth your time at the moment.

Long way to reach payout. Not worth it! I have signed up for a free account in the middle of April and at the end of May reached $50. Now I am waiting for the payment hoping that this site will not turn scam. Tell you the truth I don't know If I will keep rating articles because I spent over a month around 2 hours a day. So if you calculate, I worked around 90 hours to reach $50 payout. I would probably be better of getting a part time job and get paid at least minimum wage of $7.25. $7,25 x 90 hours = $652.5. Clearly I would get paid at least 10 times more. Not worth time spent!

It did sound good at first But now I'm not so sure... I joined this site about a month ago... I could only chose 50 articles per day... and it was good at first... now I have over $20 dollars and I have less and less articles every day... for the past few days I was told the site is undergoing thorough changes... and for the past 3 days I only had 2 articles to read! I am not really sure about this site... but nonetheless I am willing to give it a go... we never know it may turn out to be as good as they say.

It's not what I expected I excepted Readbug to be a great website with bunch of interesting topics, but in my opinion it's just a website full of junk articles. Some of the articles are really good, and I gave my positive feedback to most of them, but most of them written poorly and that's not really what I expected, and minimum payout is $50. In my opinion, it takes too much to earn those 50 dollars, so you get bored with this website by the time you get $15, but anyways give it a shot!

You get what you see, hype free zone I joined readbud on the third of May and to date have added around $20 to my account. The system has it's merits, not least that you read articles which under other circumstance you would dismiss after the first sentence or two. The quality of the articles varies alarmingly from the well researched, well written and unbiased to others which are so obviously rehashed from other sites (copy, paste and rejig to try and make look original). The grammar and presentation again varies from excellent to quite honestly dreadful. The site is definitely not a get rich quick scheme and it is refreshing that no outrageous claims are made. Commission on any referrals is earned after they have claimed their first payment, as the payment threshold is $50 as you can see with the articles available even the most avid reader will take a minimum of two months to reach this figure so hang on don't book that Caribbean cruise just yet. The actual operation of the site can be somewhat frustrating as even after rating an article it is not always added to your account, at the end of each session you have to go into the article history and rate the ones which were missed again. If you forget to do this immediately next time you log in you are told you missed your invitation to rate the article and it is no longer available for you to rate. It appears around 15 to 20 articles are available daily with earnings of 3 to 10 cents per article it will take time to reach the payment threshold $50. If I achieve this level I will update the site on the ease or otherwise of claiming my earnings. Currently (28-05-2010) the site is undergoing maintenance so no articles are available, I guess they will return soon although no mention is made on the site regarding the duration of the outage. |

I'm feeling middle of the road about readbud But I am also giving it a shot. I only became aware of it recently and signed up to try it. As you said, it's a great concept, and the site is very easy to use. There are a lot of members, and if they have been sticking around for that long there's probably something to it. I wrote about it in a blog I'm keeping about freelance writing, as I've been researching it and experimenting with the site. It is easy to use, and some of the information is quite informative. You'll find some useful and interesting content, but there's also a lot of stuff that's poorly written. Then again, all you have to do is read the article and rate it. I have not earned enough to receive payment yet, and do always wonder a little bit when I'm trying something new. I have found at least a couple reports of people being payed by readbud, and I've also heard a few complaining that they feel it's a scam. I get the feeling they really do pay, but it may take a while to accumulate $50, depending on what interests you select. I can say the site is user friendly. It does have a bit of a PPC feel, new users should realize that there is a bit of pay to play advertising going on. At the same time, some of the articles have useful information. I think you make a good point that you get a benefit from the articles, and from reading through other people's material in general. It can generate leads towards other useful information. I'd be curious as to how you do with it over time. I think it's at least worth the experiment of trying it out, however. |
