SnapDollars is a service that allows you to earn money for completing various tasks. The company is based in Canada and was started on 2005. You can earn money by reading emails, completing promotional offers, and shopping for products. It resembles many ‘get paid to’ models but combines many elements into one service.
There are many get paid to programs online but not all of them are legitimate or trustworthy. One service that has been around for a while is SnapDollars It seems like SnapDollars is a solid company but let’s see if it’s worth investing your time and effort into.
You are given a $5 bonus when you sign up to SnapDollars and you can cash when you reach $40 in earnings. The first method of earning with the service is by reading emails. You can get paid anywhere from 1 cents to 20 cents per email. From what I see, most of the emails pay out in the 2-5 cent range.
You can make money by completing offers as well. If you agree to a trial with companies such as Video Professor and Protect My ID, Snap Dollars will pay out a certain amount. If you’re completing the trial offers, my advice to you is to keep tracking of which ones you have signed up for. This way you’ll have no problems canceling after the trial period, so you won’t be billed any further for something you don’t want.
There are surveys you can fill out for cash too but they are in the minority. I didn’t come across too many of them as it seems like the most frequent offers are the trial ones. Shopping deals are presented as well. You are given cash back for buying from certain sites. The idea is that if you’re going to shop anyway, why not earn some money for it. Of course, this will only apply if you have something you want to buy that SnapDollars has a reward for.
One thing that really appealed to me is the fact that SnapDollars gives you a $5 bonus for referring somebody to the service. The catch is that you are only given that bonus when they personally request for a check themselves. This is a huge flaw as most people will quit before reaching the $40 to cash out.
The big problem with SnapDollars seems to be how they pay out. You have to earn at least $15 from completing offers and it takes way too long to get your check. You’ll be waiting around a month and a half after you request your check until you receive it. According to the company, they manually check for fraud so that’s why it takes a long time.
Overall, SnapDollars is a legitimate ‘get paid to’ service that pays out. There are many people who’ve gotten their check using the service. The problem lies in how they handle the referral bonuses and the time it takes to receive your check. For this reason, there’s been mixed reviews from users.
It takes around a month to reach the $40 to request the check. This is actually faster and easier than most get paid to programs. However, SnapDollars should be used a hobby as it is not realistic to make any kind of good money with the service.

Be careful! I joined this site after searching for different sites to make money with. After a while I noticed it was hardly crediting me and that there was no community forum. I checked the gptboycott site and Snapdollars was on the watch list! Usually all the legit sites have forums where people can ask for help and talk about the site and payments proofs! I didn't see a forum and that was kind of sketchy. So I deleted my account. I'm more aware now. I don't think snapdollars is worth the time.

It's just lame I'd been a member of Snap dollars for about 2-3 months and I recently gave it up. It's a complete waste of time. They lured me with the initial 5 bucks sign up and I decided that that's pretty good but then I started opening emails after emails and after 2 months of doing that I got only 30-40 cents in my account on top of that 5 bucks. So I figured it will take me months if not years to cash out. So I would say to whoever wants to join them - don't waste your time. The 5 bucks sign up bonus is just a bait. You'll never see that money because you are going to give it up sooner than cashing out. |

Not very good I joined first with an optimistic view, as I do with all sites like this but that would not last very long. I found the work to be very tedious and the payouts for each task seemed to be too small. Also, the fact that the minimum payout is 40 dollars and one may only receive payment by check further increased my chances of leaving the site. I rarely visit the site and complete tasks presented to me through the site. I would definitely not recommend this site as there are many more out there that are much better in all aspects. |

Waste of Time I joined Snap Dollars a couple of years ago. It was one of the first earning sites I belonged to. At first it seemed like a good way to make money online. The $5 signup bonus was also an incentive. Well, at first the paid emails were plentiful and I was making 0.05 per email. After about a month the emails were few and far between. As for the offers, I did several of them but did not receive credit. My account has just over $7 in it and I know I will never make the $40 payout in this lifetime. So I suggest you skip right over this site... it's really not worth your time and effort.

Don't bother with this one The first thing I noticed after signing up was that the site seemed a little shady. I couldn't get any responses to my questions. I also doubt it's legitimacy and I have been spammed by them a lot. (I used a separate email only for this program so the spam could not be coming from anywhere else. ) In addition, you will not make money with them. Compared with other GPT programs, they have only a small fraction of their offers available. And, out of the ones I did, none of them ever credited.

I wouldn't say SCAM but pretty close! I joined this site 7 months ago because I got excited with $5 sign up bonus and if you refer a friend, you'll be paid $5 for every person you refer. But there's a catch, though. You will only be credited the $5 if they request a payout. Within that 7 months of clicking, I only got $7 in my account. $5 of that came from the sign up bonus. I don't do offers because it's just not worth it. I referred a lot of friends but none of them was credited; guess they didn't reach payout. I did some research about the site, and there are many complaints about not receiving their checks. I also don't like the fact that they only send checks as a way to payout. Warning: Don't waste your time. |

Offers don't always credit I joined Snap dollars in 2006 or 2007. At first I thought it would be a really good site. At that point I was getting several emails, and they were usually worth at least .05 cents. Over time the emails slowed down and became worth less and less. I decided to do some offers in hopes of getting to the cash out of $40. I don't even remember how many offers I ended up doing, but snap dollars only credited about half of them. I still have my account but very rarely get even one email now. I do still click on the emails when I get them, but I've pretty much given up on the site. It's just taking too long to get to payout and the offers aren't worth it. Even in the free section of the offers, you almost always have to pay for shipping of something, or remember to cancel the membership after your trial time is over. I've heard from other people that Snap dollars doesn't ever count the offer unless you actually pay for the first month on those free trials either, although I can't verify that since I didn't sign up for any of those. I've heard from others that Snap dollars does eventually pay, but based on my experiences, I still wouldn't recommend it to anyone. |

Very attractive site! I love the design of this site, very attractive and colorful. I receive many paid emails from this site which makes it easy to earn. They credit you with a $5 sign up bonus which makes it a lot easier to reach cash-out. In my opinion the only downside is the fact the cash-out is $40 with a $3 fee & only by checks.

If you have time to waste, this is it It took me two years to finally get a check for $42 from Snap Dollars. The original amount was over $45, but they retained $3 for their "shipping costs" for mailing out the check. Reading emails for 1 cent, 3 cents, 5 cents and 10 cents was not worth it. At the start, I was "reading" emails for 5 and 10 cents each. But in the second year, they dropped the earnings down to as low as 1 cent per email. There were many "catches" in the so-called "free" products that were advertised as ... "click here and earn up to 25 Dollars or more... " I took extra time to read the "fine print" of several of these advertisements, and the "free" product would turn out to be "free" only for a period of time as a "free trial," after which you had to pay for the purchase of the product. Many times the advertised product was not even available for shipping to Canada. There were just too many frustrations in this project, mainly because all of them required in one way or another the use of your credit card, even if it was just to pay the shipping and handling of a "free" sample. Time is money, and this program made me lose both time and money. |

Don't waste your time I have been a member of Snap Dollars for over a year now and still only have $5.36 in my account. Sadly the $5 was a sign on bonus! So that's less than 50 cents I've made in the past year or so. I find that snap dollars rarely sends you paid emails and their offers are pretty lame. I know that it'll be close to impossible for me to ever reach payout at the rate I'm earning now. They're one of the sites with a higher payout plus they charge you a fee just to request your money. Seriously not worth your time. There are plenty of other similar sites out there that are more worth it. Keep looking and walk right past this one.

Hard to earn a lot I have been a member of Snap Dollars for a little over a year now. Like other sites, I spend a some time on it each week hoping I can earn little by little. The only problem with this site is that it is pretty hard to earn enough money to even reach payout. The pay-to-click emails are only worth $. 01 so it's basically a waste of time. They're are plenty of much better ways to make money on the internet than Snap Dollars. |

Snap Dollars isn't fair game Snap Dollars has a strange way of doing things, for example, the payment amount they claim. When I first joined this site, the minimum amount to get paid was $20. Once I reached the minimum, they upped it to $40. That really doesn't seem fair. The other thing about this site is the credits on offers. They take a very long time to credit an offer, but in most cases they never do. I got very frustrated with this, I then realized this site was not worth my time. I would not suggest this site to anyone. Snap Dollars isn't fair game.

Snap Dollars is boring I personally don't care for this site. I keep getting "Paid Emails" from them. When you click on the confirm link, it will take you to Snap Dollars to sign in at the site BUT it never shows you if you were credited or not for viewing the email. I just figured this site out. It's very boring and I feel like I never get anywhere with it. I am placing it in my spam folder today. I am just sick and tired of wasting my time with it. Don't waste your time signing up for it.

Not really worth it Yes they do have a long standing record, but for as long as I have been a member, about 6 months, I haven't earned more than $5 on top of the $5 that is given as a bonus when you first sign up. I am too having the same problems as other members are having. Most of the time I do not qualify for the surveys, and the emails really don't pay. I bet if you put enough time into it and exhaust every avenue the site offers, you maybe able to reach payout once.

Slow way to reach payout! I have heard that people have actually have been paid, but not me. I have been with them for over a year and I have not reached a payout. It's hard to qualify for a survey. When You do it is it's very low pay. They have paid to complete offers and paid to read emails. I did 113 and I only got paid $2.66. It will take forever to reach my $40 payout at this rate. You can refer people, but they have to reach a payout before you get a bonus pay. This is a good site for people with patience; as for me I don't have any.

Gave Up Within A Few Days With Snap Dollars, you really can't earn much. The Paid Emails are rare and find that they never seem to credit. It's sort of odd. There isn't much to do and it's hard to even make money (well, for me at least). I attempted a couple things and nothing. I got bored very quickly. I eventually stopped using it and haven't even gotten back to delete my account. |

Snap Dollars I signed up for Snap Dollars about a year ago. I found this site not to be worth the time or effort. The offers I did were not credited and this did not make me happy. I thought because Snap Dollars was a Canadian company the offers were primarily directed at Canadians, (thus cutting down on the overall amount of offers and making them more difficult to credit). Whatever the reason, I was not satisfied with Snap Dollars and prefer Inbox dollars which has a lower cash out and more offers that are credited to your account.

Snap Dollars I expected so much more from this site. Only once in a blue moon do I ever get any paid emails. All I get are those $5 referral program emails, which I can't see how they can do that. I think it must be a scam of some sort. I will stick with Inbox Dollars and Send Earnings. I know they pay.

Not as good as it's equivalents Snap dollars, although almost identical to it's competition, is not quite worth the time like the other sites like this. Paying only $0.01 per email when the competition pays twice as much and more makes it not seem worth it. Plus the number of offers that I have tried to submit that get rejected is ridiculous, not to mention how long it takes them to verify a completed offer compared to other similar sites.

Easy to Use Site I have been a member of Snapdollars for quite some time. I have not yet reached the payout because of the requirement that so much of your earnings must be from completing offers. I do find that the site is easy to use and simple to understand. My only complaint about the site is their requirement to complete offers. I do feel that this is a legit site and they have been around for some time. I have never had any trouble logging in to the site or with any viruses coming through the site as I have had with other similar sites. I do think that this is a good site for earning if you don't mind the offers. |

Patience is required I have been a member of Snap Dollars for about two years now. I haven't earned nearly as much on this website as other "paid-to-read" websites. They work but only if you are a shopaholic. I am not, therefore I only do this for fun.

I've seen better One of the good things about this site is they offer you many different ways to earn. They also have a daily sweeps section where you can try your luck in winning. I personally try my luck with this. I feel I have a better chance with the daily sweeps because there is a chance for me to make money without having to pay anything. By the way I still haven't won anything. That's really all the good things I can say about them. One thing that I don't like about them is their 100% free offers section. When I try to complete offers in this section I come to realize that the offer is not free at all. So I don't know why they even have this section. I only have $6.39 in my account, and I have been a member here since the beginning of this year. $5 of it is from the sign up bonus. I wouldn't consider them a scam, but just a slow way to earn.

Not worth it As far as I'm concerned this site is not worth the time. I signed up to this site because I liked the sign on bonus they give. However, after being a member for about three months I gave up. I don't like the pay policy they make where half of your earnings have to be done a certain way and the other half you can have however you want. I like pay sites that let you earn the way you want to and will pay you for it. I was never even able to make the payout. I'm not saying they are a scam, I'm just saying that it is too slow and it takes way too long.

Not worth it. I joined Snap Dollars a little over a year ago. I read the emails and took what surveys I could. I completed a few offers, but don't care too much for doing them. After a few months I looked at my balance and decided it just wasn't worth it. With such a high payout it seemed like I would never reach it with the options available to earn. There are so many other ways to earn online, skip this one. |

Pretty lame I had a membership with them over a year ago. That's about the time I learned to really read the TOS for things before joining and wasting my time. The thing I really didn't like is that your earnings have to consist of $15 in offers. You can't just get paid for surveys and paid emails, which is what I wanted to do. I didn't have all that much in the account and for some reason checked the TOS to check on the amount required for cash-out. That's when I found the part about $15 of it having to come from offers. I canceled the account and have been more careful ever since when joining anything. |

Been around a long time I joined Snap Dollars over a year ago, but have never reached payout with them. I have like $6 in my account and the minimum cashout is $40, plus they charge you a $3 fee to cashout. The cash in my account is for a signup bonus and 21 paid emails that I read. None of the offers I completed ever credited, so that was a complete waste of time. I need to delete my account, but just haven't taken time to do so. Now, I just deleted emails from them without ever opening them. |

For me, it's a scam I joined this site under someone who referred it to me. I was really excited on seeing that this site would pay five bucks just for signing up so I joined it quickly. But to my surprise, I had not got even a penny! Then I came to know that they would pay five bucks if I made a referral which they did not mention before I signed up. I made a referral soon but still did not get anything. Then, I contacted them about the problem but they gave me no reply and after a few days, I got an email telling me that my account was terminated due to suspicious activities. So for me, this site is totally scam and I do not recommend you to join it.

Not much to earn with Snap Dollars! I have been a member of Snap Dollars since April 2009. My total earnings are less than $ 9, way below the $ 40 threshold for cashing out. I have tried a few different ways to build my cash with them (following the sites' guidelines), and none have worked.Survey Opportunities- I hardly ever qualify, and they pay only 50 cents each so they are hardly worth it. Reading E-Mails- A penny apiece, and I recently received an email saying in effect that if members don't start visiting and buying from their advertisers, the whole program is in jeopardy! Makes me want to simply stop wasting my time with these guys. Oh and of course the 'Referral Program', which pays you $ 5 per person, once they reach $ 40. Well I have referred 4 people, but of course no one is anywhere near the dollars needed to benefit myself, or them for that matter. The only way to get 'paid' is to participate in the offers which will cost you a heck of a lot more than the payout will be. My rating on this site should be 'I' as in impossible to make any worthwhile money out of it. Try InboxDollars, SendEarnings, or even DollarSurveys. net for better results from similar programs. Best of Luck, Piero |
