Sqip Description
Sqip is a social networking portal with an investment opportunity built in. Basically it will be Myspace, Facebook, E-bay, Amazon, Skype, Blogger, and a few other programs all condensed into one site. It is hard to see what its full potential will be since a large portion of it is still in development.
Sqip Detailed Overview
Sqip has been in existence for 107 days (and I probably joined in the first few days), but there was pretty much nothing to it, just a nice looking headliner and the enticement of 100 free PEP's (Personal Equity Points). Since there wasn't a lot I could use it for I really have not been back since. But, to do this review I went back in to check and see what has been accomplished. It looks very good, bright and vibrant and pretty exciting. You can go in and make your own profile page (like in Myspace) and there are a lot of places to share videos, music, articles, and blogs. There is also a section to do your professional profile (as compared to your “fun” one), and you can share information about your products and services with other networkers.
I went down the whole list, and so many of the different sections are still under construction that it is almost impossible to decide whether or not the site will be a success. Some parts of it aren't due to be online until late September 2009. But, from what I have seen so far it looks like it will be worth the wait. My only major complaint is that it is hard to navigate. There is no link to take you back to the main page...you have to back arrow your way out of everyplace you go. A minor inconvenience, but still annoying.
I am not sure if it will be an actual money-maker in the future. The site states that members will receive commissions and matching bonuses on their referrals. And, that they will earn on sales up to five levels deep. Well, when I joined I got my 100 PEP's, and I brought in 3 referrals (told you I hadn't been using it). I checked my account right now and I have 103 PEP's with a current value of $196.03 (wouldn't mind withdrawing that out, but it doesn't seem to be an option). They say that the projected earnings for those 103 PEP's will be $1755.49, of course they don't state an exact date of when this future time will come. But I am not complaining. I got them for free, and if anything comes of it then I will be grateful. There are options to buy more PEP's but I don't think I am enough of a gambler to do so right now, I think I will wait until I see how the rest of the features are coming along. ButI am sure that I won't leave the site untouched as I did before. There are some things I can use right now to promote my businesses. And, a lot of it looks really interesting.

Sqip Reputation
No one really knows how well Sqip is going to do. People are in a kind of “sit back and wait” mode when it comes to this site. The site looks vibrant and exciting and if everything gets done that they state will get done, it is going to be a lot of competition to many of the big sites out there. The convenience of being to stay in contact with my personal and my professional contacts all in one place will be worth it in itself. And, if it can truly compete with Skype and E-bay then I don't think anything will stop it. If you are interested, then join and get your free PEP's. And, lets just wait and see what happens.

Not So Hot  I don't think I'm going to stick with Sqip. First off, it's annoying as heck to even get on to the website. It's very slow and laggy all the time, and I've tried pulling it up in different web browsers with the same result. Second off, you get paid very little. Even if you do refer a few friends (I believe I've referred 3 or 4) you certainly aren't going to make any sort of income. Overall, the site is confusing and, as said in my title, makes me nervous. Personally, I feel if you are looking for a paid social-networking site, I would stick with Yuwie.

Sqip is just pie in the sky  I have been signed up with Sqip for around 6 months now and I can tell you that it has changed so many times that I don't know if I’m coming or going. They recently changed the structure of their shares which meant if you had say 200 before you now had 2 PEPs, whoa hold the boat! And now to top it all they are flushing out anybody who has less than 10 PEPs, they say that you will get a full refund of your investment. Which begs the question, do you get your original investment or the actual value of PEPs as they stand at time of sale? Me thinks the first option which is clearly robbing you blind. I could be wrong but they have not stated or explained this in the recent email (see excerpt below). QUOTE form Sqip CEO: "Refunds will of course be made in full to anyone being flushed out who had previously made a purchase. " I sent an email recently with my concerns about their erratic investment predictions which resulted in a rather unpleasant reply warning me I would be banned and kicked out of the program. Overall SqipCom has been confusing and just plain unrealistic in it's revenue projections. They have constantly changed or canceled different parts of their so called portal; one example was their attempt to start a rival micro network similar to Twitter which was an abject failure. I have absolutely no faith in them at all. The CEO of Sqip recently emailed all members about another reprieve for flushing out low PEP holders and extending this to the 15th of February 2010, I would be very cautious in buying any more PEPs . He also has a webinar in which he will give more information on how the company is doing and plans for the future, there will be Q & A afterward. I will be tuning in to this with interest. As much as I would love this program to be a success I don't see it happening soon, do you realize what kind of investment and promotion it takes to start a company like this, it's mega believe me. |

Skeptical about SQIP I recently joined SQIP on a recommendation from my friend. So far, it has been utterly confusing and hard to understand. The greatest part about it that I have noticed is the fact that you do not need to pay to set it up. I concede the fact that there are some very interesting people who I have met, but up until this point, SQIP has not really gotten off the ground, and I have some doubts that I will end up getting the PEP's they promised.

Good way to make a little extra money I recently joined sqip and so far it is okay. For me it is more of a social networking site, but you can earn some commission off of it. You can get paid monthly through commissions that you make from your referrals. You get paid when they use the messenger and things. I have referred a few people, but those people hardly ever use the messenger and so I do not make very much commission. If you are good at referring a lot of people and talking them into using it then I think it might be a great site for you to make some extra money. I haven't had any problems so far. If anything, at least I have met some friends.

So far so good I joined recently, and so far the only thing positive I can say about it is that it's free. I actually found it a little more confusing to use than the more popular social networking sites. I joined so I could use it to promote one of my products, and so far I haven't had much luck there, but I have met some great new people. I have my doubts that things will actually pan out and I'll make a lot of money from it, but for now I'm still curious enough to stick with it. I haven't had any negative experiences, so maybe there's hope that it will turn out to be the next best thing on the internet. So far everything seems legitimate.

Looking good I joined sqip some months ago ago and was one of those who received the free 100 PEPs. These PEPs are some like shares of the site. They say before that you can exchange it in the future for like 50 euros per PEP. But I just visited the site and they are now claiming that in the coming 2010 a PEP may be worth 400 euros and even more in 2011. That is some serious money and is really suspicious. But still I will still keep my PEPs for future purposes. I will still give this site a B for it's good Sqip Messenger which I should say is a lot better than many others. |

SQIP Member I am a member of SQIP. My experience with the site has been a positive one so far. SQIP is a new social network site, similar to My Space, Facebook, etc. SQIP offers many of the same options as well and many different ones that the other sites don't offer. I got my PEPs. Now what? I registered on Sqip when they were still giving away free PEPs as they call them. I got 100 of those and another 3 for referring three friends. That is the condition to be able to convert the shares into cash. It’s a very nice social network and even if I don’t get my money I’m still satisfied because I met some nice people with whom I exchanged a lot of useful information. So, in the beginning, they said that each share is worth 25 € and at some point in the future they will be willing to buy them back. That means 2500 €. I’m not sure this will ever happen, because since they started selling the PEPs I haven’t heard too many positive comments about them. |

Great But Update and Bugfree Version Needed Squip looks like a great new program. Having collaborated with the web’s most popular website, it is an easy-to-use efficient program where it's members can do whatever they feel like without browsing here and there. They just have to stay in one program – Squip – and benefit from the great features it has to offer. However, while working with Squip, I have a few complaints. After downloading the whole program and working with it for a week or so, everything seemed fine. But after a week, I noticed my computer started hanging within minutes of working with Squip. I have no idea what is going on, maybe a bug. I disabled Squip and then tried everything on my computer, then things were fine. So Squip was at fault. |

It is a great site! Looks promising! I registered this site 3 months ago, from the beginning of its existance when they gave you 100 shares for free, they call them PEP. The PEP's grow in time and after the owner opinion they need to be around 2000 euro for 100 PEPs. Thy also said they need 2 years for this, so at the finish of 2010 we should have around 2000 euros in our back office. The condition for withdrawing the money is to have 3 referrals, which means 103 PEPs. They also add e-wallet, Lotto and a lot of other features. They also have a portal where you can add friends, chat and instant message, download music and a lot of other stuff. It looks promising so there is nothing to lose if we stick with them. I will! |

Looks pretty good and authentic I just joined this site yesterday and I have to say I really like the website design. It looks pretty nice and it is very simple to navigate on it. The "back office" section has a very nice list of resources you can read if you are into "Affiliate Marketing". It also has helpful information on how to promote the site to your friends and other people. I really cannot wait to see what this site will be all about, but so far it sounds as if it is going to beat other social networking sites like Myspace, among others. It also seems to bring an unique and efficient method for everyone to make money on the internet. I am anxiously waiting for the day this site will officially be launched.

The deal behind Sqip This is a great site with many features, and new more interesting ones are on the way! Invite your friends, family, internet buddies to take part and increase the sites productivity. The more people that come, the more money YOU will make. This is one of the few sites that gives you absolute control over your money, and many possibilities for cash flow. "Welcome to Sqip!" This is one of the first things you will see once you sign up to this social networking site. You're first thought may be, "Man this is like all the other useless things I signed up for... Wrong!" Sqip may be fairly new, but it's definitely not the norm, and shouldn't be compared to all the other sites. Get 100 PEPs (private equity points) for signing up and the fun begins, but where to start? To be successful with this site you will need to invite two people, even though according to the site it's not needed, and try to get in a lot of programs you feel is the easiest to manage. After you have become successful with one program, continue to find others that are up your alley, and diversify your income stream. All money owed to you is up to date and credited as in real time, so there’s no need to worry about being duped. After you've finally become comfortable, consider doing ALL the programs, this will insure your success and definitely increase your "ewallet!" With the friends you've invited, create a private pool for the "lotto" and "freedom network" and you're all set. You make money and your friends make money while sharing the profits. This is fast easy and fun, and most of this you do on other social sites anyway! This site is new and still needs to grow. The down side is that since there's not that many people onboard, you aren’t making as much money as you could. With time this sites notoriety will increase, but until then profits are good with more room for expansion. To help handle the bills, Sqip will take 20% of your profits and split them between charities and their other programs (legal and covered in their FAQs I believe), which is kind of a downer. Don’t worry though, once you start making good money, it's completely unnoticeable. You wont even care after awhile, seeing that the money goes to the lotto that you are making profit off of it anyway. |

Worth the time I joined Sqip during the spring and I found that it came along way in the last 8 months. The PEP are always increasing in value, and more and more options are becoming available every week. Only time will tell if they do pay out, but so far it looks like they are going to pay. It also look like it's going to give the other big social networks a run for their money.

Great potential  I agree the site looks promising and I will be one of those who will benefit once it gets big. I don’t really know what to do with my free PEPs, but I can see it growing. My friends availed of this site mainly due to social networking stuffs so if ever I will get monetized by it in the future, then it would be an additional help. I had great time setting up my profile and checking other member’s pages. I already referred some friends, but still only a few know about this site (compared to FB, MySpace). I haven’t seen any full blast advertisement which should be Sqip’s priority if they really want to level with top social networking sites. |

Misewell join I joined and read all the FAQs/info. This site seems promising, although I'm not really sure when people will be able to start making money with the site. I think it's worth joining (and referring 3 people) just in case something big happens with the site, and it starts paying people for the PEPs. At least it's an opportunity, and you don't really have to do anything yet!

A site you should check out I joined SQIP because I am into the whole social networking thing and love to blog and meet new people through the Internet. So far SQIP seems pretty cool. It is really organized, and I feel like this site will become very big. The only thing I really don’t get about the site is the PEP. I am confused by the whole idea of it, but other than that I find this site to be very entertaining and fun. SQIP is also free which is really awesome because I hate spending my money …specially online. I would definitely recommend this site for any person that enjoys social networking. |

This is gonna be big! I joined Sqip even if I had no clue at all what the free PEPs are for. I got interested in it when I read a post about the site explaining the potential of the site and even claiming it would be as big as Google one day. So I logged back on to my Sqip account and sure did feel great owning 100 equity points of a promising site. But I read that I had to refer a few people to keep my PEPs, which I did not do. After I got an email from Sqip about their launch, I knew I was too late. I checked my account to find my PEPs were not there anymore. I believe the site holds a great future ahead, and is taking huge steps to realize it's full potential. Too bad I lost my equity points.

Many of the messages from squip are in another language I joined Sqip when it first launched it's 100 pep revenue sharing package, and have been waiting ever since for any sign of life from this company. I do receive messages from Sqip, but they are in another language. So other than what I read when I signed up and what I am now reading here at IMRC, I really don't know what they are up to or when they will become a viable site. I liked the idea they presented in the beginning, and that was my reason to sign up. However, I did not promote the company because I wanted to see what would become of it. I am glad to hear it is making improvements, but it sure would be nice to see how the site will actually function and whether it is going to be predominant force in the social networking world. I am a bit wary of any company that starts out with the idea to sell off right from the get go, but it was free, so I can't complain.

The Future of Social Networking The review by wontyoubemyneighbor is pretty accurate, but some things have been left out about the PEPs free cash equity. Yes, they are giving away 100 free peps to all that join, however in order to eligible for the buy back program you must refer at least 3 new members. The plan stated by the site is to eventually sell the site, or offer an IPO on the stock market. When this happens Sqip plans to buy back all PEPs. Each week the PEPs are reevaluated, and so far the value has gone up. As of today each PEP is valued at $2.77 each. Unfortunately, the free cash equity program is coming to an end on Oct 1 2009, to be replaced by the FTPS 2.0. In this program members will be able to buy a position for as little as one dollar, and when the value of the package reaches ten dollars you can cash out. Sqip says that two dollars will be held back for promoting the site as well as being used for charitable purposes. I really like what Sqip is doing, and if you want to take advantage of the free equity program you still can. Remember you must refer three people or purchase a booster package to qualify for the buy back program.

A nice, promising site When I first saw the advertisement for SQIP during it's prelaunch, I was skeptical as to whether it will get off the ground or not. There had been attempts by other people to set up the next generation website, giving an earning opportunity to the members. None had succeeded. Nevertheless I saw no harm in joining as a member. I brought one referral along. The site now does look different. The words vibrant and exciting may not be enough for some. The things that work are good, though I have to admit that I use the radio function more than the rest. The station I listened to is clear. I am not worried about the shares, even when they said members can sell their shares once it has reached a certain level. The services offered are of a high value, and we are getting them for free. I would recommend this site to those who want to have everything on one site. Just do not have high hopes on the PEP if you have them. |
