Survey head Description

SurveyHead is an online survey membership site founded and run by internet marketers Matthew Dugis and Gregg Lavin, who also founded the survey site GoZing.com. This program offers its members money for taking a variety of different types of consumer marketing surveys. Payment depends on the survey, and is always disclosed before a member takes one.

Survey head Detailed Overview

SurveyHead is a very straightforward online survey website. Members join this program for free, and they are paid to take surveys. Unlike many other online programs that offer to pay people for taking surveys, this program does not also pay people to sign up for offers. They only offer surveys, and that’s it. Many people prefer this.

The surveys that SurveyHead offers to its members vary, but they are all about consumer market research. The pay also varies; usually anywhere from $1 to $5. The surveys take about an average of 15 minutes to complete.

One problem that a lot of people have with taking the surveys on SurveyHead is that they don’t actually get to take very many surveys. It’s not that the program doesn’t offer enough surveys, it’s just that people have a difficult time qualifying for them. There isn’t a trick to qualifying. For each survey a company is simply looking for a specific type of person, and it seems that more often than not, you aren’t who they’re looking for.

For the surveys that you are able to take on the SurveyHead website, you will be credited for them when the individual surveys are closed. This can take weeks. When a participating company has closed a survey, status for that survey in your account will go from “pending” to “earned”. You have to reach a $10 minimum before you can cash out your earnings.

Survey head Reputation

Feedback on SurveyHead seems to be mixed. While quite a few people have reported being paid by them several times, others have complained of having their requests denied when they requested payment. One person said the payment issue was explained by a glitch in the system and resolved, others say the program simply closed their accounts. It costs nothing to give this program a try, so it would simply have to be a judgment call.

Does exactly what it says it does

I have been using this site since February, and while it does have a minimum earning requirement, I have cashed out three times so far. It is straight forward, easy to use and understand. If you really want a site without all the bells and whistles, this is the one for you.

Not enough surveys.

I signed up like 2 months ago and I have not gotten any money at all. The only money that I have in my account is the sign up bonus. This site is a big waste of time because they only have a small amount of surveys available at a time. Those surveys are also really hard to qualify for and are a big waste of time. I rarely use this site because it is so hard to earn money. I don't recommend this site.

Too few surveys

When I initially signed up to Survey Head I was expecting a few surveys each week, and that seemed like an okay way to make a little extra money. The first survey I got a full month after becoming a member. I understand that there are a number of surveys that you just don't qualify for, but the amount even sent to me was ridiculously low. I think, at least for this survey site, you need to be part of a certain target group to make it worthwhile. I've quit using it myself and it's not the first site I recommend to other people, but I do believe that they're fully legitimate after all. I'd suggest to try it out for a few months and see the results because this program seems to vary a lot from person to person.

It's not bad

They give too little money for the surveys, and you end up disqualifying from a lot of them. I do like how they give cash though, and this is better than points, because you can get paid faster. I have been doing quite a few surveys through them.

Not so great for me

I recently joined Survey Head. At first I was excited to see that I had earned $9.50 very quickly. However, you have to reach $25 in order to get paid. In the couple of months after that, I've only added $4.35 to my earnings, so I am still a considerable way away from receiving a payment. I will continue with the site and see if they do end up paying, but it seems like I rarely qualify for surveys and waste time answering many questions only to find out I didn't qualify.

Waste your time!

I have been a member of Survey head for three months and. You can get $5 bonus when you join the site and the payout is $25. Each week I could get one to three surveys and I did not qualify for the most. You can receive payment with paypal. Until now, there is only $15 in my account so I do not want to waste time any more.

Wasted time!

I joined Survey head 2 months ago. I was a bit skeptical at first because of the many bad experiences I've had with survey sites. Then a good friend of mine told me that she got a payment from Survey Head and so I signed up and got a little excited. I had 5 surveys to complete and got $6 for completing them.

The month after that I received an email telling me to complete a survey and earn $2. When I went to the site it says that I was not qualified. I got very disappointed because it took me almost an hour to fill out all of the questions on the profile page that was suppose to make me qualified in some of the surveys, but still got nothing. I have wasted so much of my time.

Really not worth it for me...

Surveyhead has a UK version which is the one I'm with. By the looks of it, it's no different than their .com site in terms of a high rate of not qualifying for surveys and the chances of ever reaching payout. I've been screened out of more surveys than I care to remember.

I also don't quite see the point of giving me a £3.50 reward for registering with the site when the payouts are so elusive.

The strange thing is there've been times when I've received email notification of a Surveyhead survey and I've quite literally clicked on it as soon as I've received it only to be told the survey is no longer available. Odd.

When I don't qualify for one, there's usually a list of other surveys I can take. However, because it lists the percentage-chance of me qualifying for them and it's usually quite low, I've learnt not to bother doing them.

I don't think I'll continue with the site, to be honest.

Survey Head Irritates Me

I joined Survey Head, back in March of this year, through the suggestion of another blogger. The $5 sign-up looked promising, but I ended out finding this survey site to be very annoying. Although, the odds of getting in a survey and length of time it should take are clearly posted, I don't think the odds are at all realistic. I have been rejected, for far too many surveys, which they had listed my acceptance, as being highly probable. Perhaps the most irritating thing about this site though, is how frequently I have gotten "sorry survey is full now" messages, half-way through a survey. To "top it off", rejection messages are accompanied by, rather poorly drawn cartoon faces. Not what I want to see after wasting 10 minutes of my time. I would have to say, skip this one.

Surveyhead is a consistent moneymaker, recommended!

I joined Surveyhead in May 2009, and have twice cashed in for the minimum $25 payout amount, with the money being sent to my paypal account. The first time it took about 25 days to credit, which wasn't great, but the second time it was about a week. The amount of surveys you receive from Surveyhead is high, so there is ample opportunity to earn with these guys.

One thing that is different from other survey companies is that you should go on their site 2-3 times a day to the 'dashboard' where they list your current survey opportunities. From experience I learned to check this often because the better paying opportunities reach the quotas quickly, so you need to stay on top of this.

They also give you an idea of what your chances are to qualify for the surveys with a percentage for each one. It is true that many you don't qualify for, but normally you find that out very quickly (unlike some other sites). So, all things considered, I've made some money from this site with a minimal amount of hassle, and I would recommend them for those looking to get involved with doing surveys.

Pretty good panel

They're not the best, but I really like them! They even pay you a good amount just for completing your member profiles. Some of the surveys pay really well, but others are just average. Most of the surveys are ones that are available on almost all survey sites, so if you're already completing them on another site, you can't fill them out here too. But at the same time that means there are new surveys every single day! I didn't find it that difficult to reach payout.

Great Survey Site!

I have been a member of Survey Head for 4 months now. The site is great when it comes to their rewards. I receive about 3 survey requests a week, but I am only qualified for about 1 of them. I have been paid, but only once. They do pay within a reasonable amount of time. The payout is only $25 and is very easy to reach for some, but more difficult for others. I would definitely recommend this survey site over others.

Not The Best Not The Worst

I have $17 in my account after 4 months. I seem to get enough surveys to do. When ever I get an survey invite, there are usually 4 or 5 waiting. I like that along with how much each survey is worth, they include a percentage of the chances of completing each survey. I find that I don't qualify most of the time, especially the OTX surveys. I figure to reach the minimum payout in about two months. They do pay through paypal so that's a plus. Overall it's not too bad but there are many other survey sites that are better.

High minimum payout ruins the great site

Survey head is one of the better survey sites but is brought down heavily with a couple of bad ideas. FIrst of all, the minimum payout. It is just priced too high at $25 and many people do not reach that amount. Another bad thing is that there is no referral program which is a big loss in points and a bad decision. Although it seems bad as I speak, they have a $5 sign up bonus which is nice and their offer selection is decent too. I also liked how they payout from paypal which is always quick and nice to have but in the end, I don't think it is worth it to sing up to Survey head. Lots of pending offers, high minimum payout and no referral program just destroys the experience and ruins any hope of obtaining good profit from this survey program. Mediocre at best.

The best GPT site with a 250 point signup bonus and the greatest referral system ever. Newly launched so join in early for all the points.

Has plenty of offers and is updated daily. Has prizes ranging from emailing codes for xbox live and amazon to game pre-orders.

It's not the greatest site

I have been a member of this site for about a good 6 months and have had over a good 100 surveys to take and only qualified for 5 surveys. The biggest thing that threw me off is that most of the time you are waiting for a good month just for your money to be deposited into your account balance on the site. I in fact quit doing the surveys because it will take me forever to even get anywhere. So to me, this is the lamest survey place ever. Another thing that is messed up is that they give you some surveys that don't even have a value on it. My opinion- I think you should stay far away.

Not good.. For ME.

Since I've joined Survey Head, I have only received about 2 or 3 emails from them as an invitation for a survey. Today, when I received one, it was worth $2 and right away I was not qualified for it- AGAIN. Survey Head has potential to be a good survey site, but survey invitations are very slow and usually never come. There is a registration bonus of $5. It isn't such a bad site; I personally just don't have any luck with it! They give you a small list of surveys in your account to complete. I have never requested payment yet, but I will eventually.

Surveyhead needs some work

I have been a member of Surveyhead for the past several months. You get a five dollar signing bonus for becoming a member. However, since becoming a member, I have only qualified for two surveys and only have eight dollars in my account. The cash out is twenty five dollars so at this rate, it is going to take me several months to reach the payout. I wouldn't spend a lot of time on Surveyhead. There are better sites out there.

Just okay, I have seen better!

My complaint about this site is that the payout is set too high at $25. Also, the surveys that I did in fact complete were stuck in pending for a very long time and I had to email support not once, but twice requesting my credit for them. I was so tired of trying to qualify for surveys to do to reach that mark when I first signed up that I almost quit. But being that I did earn about $17 already, I decided it as my money and I earned it and I had to continue and collect my payout! I stuck with it and finally got to the payout mark and requested payout. Surprisingly, it didn't take the entire 4 weeks mentioned and came pretty quickly. I was happy for the money in my bank account and glad that this company did in fact pay and was legit! I did keep my account and try qualifying for surveys every now and again but I don't hold my breath. It's just too hard to qualify most times, and payout is just too high!

I really didn't like this site

I was a member for a few months and I did not qualify for a lot of surveys. I know other people have had success with the site, but I seem to be having no luck in qualifying for a lot of surveys.

I have not determined whether the site is a scam since I have not reached payout yet, which is 25 dollars. I guess it takes a lot of time and patience to work with this site, and all other sites in that matter.

My best advice is to try it and regularly check your email from them.

An OK Paid Survey Site

I've been a member with SurveyHead for a couple of months now and have not received much success yet. I very rarely get any survey requests, and in the odd occasion that I do, I very rarely qualify. From what I can tell, however, their rewards are pretty good in comparison to other Paid Survey websites.
