You Cubez Description

You Cubez is a site out of Great Britain that allows its members to purchase a cube which is imbedded with the members website link. There are currently 4,797 cubez on the site and 50,088 members. The minimum purchase cost of a cube is 1 Pound and the purchase lasts for one year. All the money on the site is calculated in British Pounds so be sure to calculate that in your purchase or you may end up spending more than you thought.

You Cubez Detailed Overview

As I stated above, the member purchases a cube for a minimum of 1 Pound and that will get it placed on the site. But, the more paid into the cube (there is no maximum) then the higher it will be ranked and the more traffic it will generate. Since there are many many pages of cubez, the closer to the front page the better from an advertising stand point. Cube location can also be bettered by earning cube funds.

Cube funds can be generated by:

  • logging in daily
  • playing games
  • referring new members
  • inviting friends
  • clicking other members cubez
  • completing offers
  • completing surveys

Or you can pay additional monies to add additional value and attain a higher ranking for your cube.

There is also a pay per click option available to generate additional (and guaranteed) traffic. Advertisers have complete control over their pay per click accounts and can set them up according to a wide selection of criteria. The advertiser can geo-target, gender target, and choose the frequency that a member may re-visit the site. And, the pay per click can be set up according to the length of the visit, the advertiser can have the visitor stay on the site for 30 seconds by paying 1 Pence per click, 60 seconds by paying 2 Pence per click, and 90 seconds by paying 3 Pence per click.

Affiliates also get a chance to earn money whether or not they have their own advertising Cubez. They can earn by clicking on cash cubes and on their referrals clicks down to two levels. In addition they earn 20% of their direct referrals purchases and 10% of their level 2 referrals purchases.

One additional way to make money through this site is by selling a cube. The price is set by the owner and can be valued below the current ranking value. A commission does have to be paid to the administration on the final selling price, but it is a good way for a person to get a high ranking cube at a bargain and a good way for the owner to make a profit on their property.

Note:  If you're on IM Report Card because you're looking for a way to make money online, then you should check out our top recommendation.  It's the best method we've found that anyone can use to earn income online.  Click here to learn more!

You Cubez Reputation

You Cubez is a cute site, and it will generate some traffic to a website. But, there are some hidden costs (such as having to pay an additional Pound to change a website url), and the traffic generated may not be actively looking for a business opportunity. But, as with any "exchange" type of advertising where you look at their stuff so that they will look at yours, it is a matter of numbers. The more people looking at your site the better the opportunity of someone being interested, and on this site the only way to generate those numbers is through a high ranking which can be expensive or time consuming to attain.

A Bad PTC, But a Decent Advertising Service

I joined this site about 6 months ago solely for the PTC portion of the site, after having been recommended to this site by a friend of mine. Overall, I was very disappointed as there is hardly any way to earn by clicking ads on the site. There are hardly ever any ads that are worth money, and if there are they expire very fast! Plus, the site itself is very confusing and hard to understand at first. It took me a long time to figure out how the site actually worked. (If only IMreportcard was here to explain it to me back then). This site does work quite well if you are just looking to advertise though, only it takes a lot of time and effort in order to get anywhere near the front pages. Plus, you can sell your cube to earn lots of money after you have increased it's value.

The Easiest and Best Way to Make Money Online Neobux

Not for people looking for PTC

If you are joining this site for PTC purpose then stay away from it because there are not many cash cubes available and they expire real fast. You can however earn money by buying a cube, increase it's value, then sell it for profit. It is rather easy to increase cube's value by adding cube funds which can be earned in various ways.

At first I felt this site was a bit confusing, but it's support is good and it's video tutorials are very useful for a new member too. Do watch them as they are informative.

Very confusing site

I found YouCubez to be one of the most confusing PTC sites out there. They don’t explain how to do anything and they never clarified my questions. Also when I changed the link on my cube… I didn't even know I was being charged for it. which really sucked and It was very frustrating. I mean I was changing it so many times... so I wasted a lot of my money. Because of this it was taking me months to even get close to the 6 dollar payout.. So after awhile I just quit the site cause it wasn’t even worth my time.

I definitely wouldn’t recommend this site to anyone.

A complicated PTC

I became a member of this site two months ago and what I would say is it is so confusing. It is not a user-friendly site. I don't even know how really it works. With those complex stuffs I've experienced on the site, I've never tried to pursue on it again. The instructions on the site are not clear. I don't think it's a good site. I've joined many paid to click sites, but it's just You Cubez that brought me into this confusion.

PTC's just don't work for me

I joined You Cubez when it just started and it was really an innovative type of Paid to click (ptc). It looked so simple but when I got in I found it a bit puzzling. However, after a few days I learned my way around, and it sure is a good thing to drive traffic to your site or affiliate links whatsoever.

Initially, I joined Youcubez to earn some cents but I couldn't get many paid cubes. Also the competition was too much for me because others have thousands of points while I only had less than a hundred. So eventually I veered away from cubez, including all other PTC sites I joined, because I myself got tired of clicking.

Confusing at the start, but gets the thumbs-up from me

I've been a member of You-Cubez for over a year now. When I initially joined I found it confusing, but I was determined to wrap my head around it (took a bit of time though). The idea is that the higher up the network of cubes you go, the more likely it is your cube will get noticed and therefore garner your website more traffic.

You can either buy a cube (worth £1) with your own money or complete offers to build up the funds you need to purchase one. I did the latter.

Once you've bought a cube, the more tasks you complete on the site, the further up the chain your cube climbs. Tasks involve such things as clicking on other cubes, logging into the site once a day, completing offers and even playing games.

It can be a bit confusing differentiating between cube funds, account funds and actual cash and I almost went into therapy trying to figure it out! Basically, cube funds allow you to bulk up the value of your cube, while account funds can be used to make purchases. To make actual cash, you can either sell your cube or click on cash cubes (there are a few of those daily). You can also make cash via the commission earned on certain things your referrals do.

One thing I really like about You-Cubez is their brains never seem to stand still - there are always new additions to the site. I also find the rows and rows of different-colored cubes on their homepage visually appealing.

I haven't earned much money on You-Cubez - less than £10 to date - but I'm pleased it drives a fair amount of traffic to my blogs.

Not such a great site

I joined this site about 2 weeks ago, mainly because I liked all the colorful cubes. From what I've heard, the site seemed genuine. So I signed up and decided to add money so I could buy a cube. The minimum I could deposit was $2, and so I did, even though I was only interested in buying a cube for $1. I found an offer where someone was selling a cube that had a $30 value for only $1, and so I bought it. I added the link of a PTC site to my cube, and it got accepted within 2 hours. That is one of the good things about the site- everything is very fast. Then that ptc site went scam, and so I tried to change the link of the cube to one of my blogs, and it charged me $0.50 for it. After the admin reviewed the site, it got rejected. I didn't have any inappropriate content whatsoever on my blog, but it might have been rejected because it had a CPM code on it. The cube's link went back to my old scam ptc link. That extra $0.50 I paid for a link change just went waste. This site is great if you can stay with one link the whole year, because I've only been there a fortnight and I've received about 200 hits to my page. Too bad I'm not going to benefit from showing people my PTC link. So anyway, I added about $5 cube funds to my cube and tried to sell it (now valued $35) for a $0.12 profit. I got lots of offers for the cube, but they were all for $0.01. If I sold it at that price, I wouldn't be making a profit, so I denied all the offers. I didn't get any good offers after that, so I had to remove it from the For Sale list. Now I'm hoping that after adding more cube funds, I'll have some interested buyers.

Another thing is the cash cubes, the cubes that pay money for clicking them. I almost never get any cash cubes to click, and I'm lucky to get 1 cube every 3 days. And when I do get a cube to click on, it's only worth $025. It will take me forever this way to reach the $6 payout for standard members, but I'm only staying with this site because I want to earn back the money I wasted with advertising on this site. I wouldn't really recommend this site to anyone unless they either aren't going to buy a cube, or they are going to advertise a link that won't require changing it until the advertising expires.

Not worth the time

You Cubez seemed to be a great way to receive traffic for a specific site and earn some money. However, be prepared to spend a lot of time and calculated effort, due to the fact that most of the money people earn is in the form of cube funds which are earned by playing games, clicking other standard cubes, and various other things. The other things that truly matter are account funds and the earnings. The easiest way to directly increase your earnings is by clicking Cash Cubes and if you are a free member starting out, there is probably only one per day which really means that you won’t truly earn anything unless you click a cash cube per day for a whole year basically. The account funds can be used to upgrade your account to premium, but even that will take a while unless you invest into your account. Investing is a very tricky thing to do on traffic websites, and thankfully I read many other reviews and decided to not invest a whole lot. You Cubez takes too much of your valuable time, so unless you like British pounds for some reason and are really into the buy sell market with trafficking websites, then don’t linger on this site for too long!

Confused much?

Youcubez is the most confusing website I have been on to date. And that's not an easy title to get. I thought I was earning money, (something you can cash out to PayPal), but in fact I was earning "Cube funds", and cube funds were very badly explained on the website, so I didn't know what to do with them.

Finally, with help from my referrer, I figured out that I would use my cube funds to raise the cost of my cube, which could then be sold for "money" (could possibly be cube funds, I'm not sure), when sold to a buyer.

About 3 weeks ago, I quit Youcubez due to complete frustration with not having anything well documented about the difference from cube fund and real money.

In short, I would definitely not recommend anyone to You Cubez, until they clarify their FAQ, and possibly add an option to change from British pounds, to dollars.

Deserves a second look

I am an off and on user of You Cubez. I found the site through another PTC site. it's difference in approach to on line advertising, and the money paid per click attracted me to it. The money is not much, but to someone struggling to make some money on line, every single penny counts.

The cubes were a novelty. A mouse cursor hovering over a loaded cube brings up a title balloon of the ad. This is an advantage over other PTC sites, because the use of cubes enables a user to quickly search for an advertisement suited to his or her liking. Compare this to a list which we have to scroll down.

The payout may be high to some people, but I am not concerned over this. I joined You Cubez to find more information on opportunities available on the Internet. Being paid for reading it is an added bonus.

As for support You Cubez does send updates to it's members. This indicates seriousness of the team in running a business site. Those long enough with this site will notice the changes which to me make the site more appealing.

In summary this is a good site which deserves a second look.

Confusion for sure

I really don't like YouCubez... I signed up about 4 months ago... When I first signed up I was totally hyped, because what it looked like was that you clicked on a cube and you got money, kind of like a ptc but with a lot of links... When I signed up, I had NO idea what to do... The website doesn't really explain things all that well, and it is very confusing to browse around. I signed up and was active for 2 days before I quit because I noticed I hadn't made any money whatsoever. I also don't think this site is good for advertising, because all you do is buy a cube. You buy a cube and hope that someone will click on it. There are too many cubez for yours to be the one people will like. Definitely a D for me.

Too Confusing

I found You Cubez about a month ago through someones blog that I was reading. While the site looked pretty generic I took the bloggers word for the site and how it works and decided to sign up and try it out. After about a week of clicking and struggling to figure out how the whole thing worked I finally just gave up. It seems that most people here saw from the start it was mainly used for advertising, but to be honest the site was so confusing to me that I never even figured that much out before I gave up on it all. What time I was there, however, it didn't take very long to discover that the earning potential is extremely slow. Had I known it was better for the advertising end of things I probably would have never signed up. There were too many pop ups attached to every page and a lot of times when I visited the site it wasn't even function correctly.

Overall, I would say this is one I wouldn't really recommend. Things are far too confusing and unclear about the site and the earning potential is virtually non existent. As for the advertising side I can not say how effect it is because I don't know anything about that part.

Not much value unless you want to advertise

I just recently joined You-Cubez and find it very confusing. If your intent is to simply advertise your own links/businesses, then I suppose this would be a great place to do that. But, as a GPT site, I just don't see it being a good source of real money. You have to click standard cubes to earn cube funds, which are used for advertising. Occasionally you can find "cash cubes" but they don't seem to be available very often, so I was finding myself logging in frequently in hopes of finding a cash cube. But, from what I can tell, you can't click on a cash cube until you've clicked on at least 20 standard cubes. So, I would have to spend a considerable amount of time each day clicking standard cubes and then HOPING a cash cube would be available at some point throughout the day. I just don't think it's worth it for me.

You cubez is Awesome

I found You Cubez to be a very helpful site. I first found it through Neobux, and when I signed up I got a special discount for having a Neobux account. I used it to promote a money-making blog that I write, and it worked wonders. My site gained a lot more traffic, and I know it was all because of You Cubez.

Confusing Cubez!

I read some good reviews of this site so signed up to give it a try. The site has an amateur look about it with just pages of cubes. There is a good opening offer of a free cube worth £2 if you sign up to a web survey site at the same time. However, you can still join the site without taking up the offer and you do not have to buy a cube in order to use it. I had to wait a long time for my confirmation e-mail which was frustrating as you cannot use the site until you have verified this. The explanations on how the site works are not terribly clear, but I found chatting to other users helpful. On the plus side it is a very affordable method of internet advertising and marketing but it is not so good for earning money. I would recommend it as a useful tool for increasing traffic to your websites though.

Very unique advertising system

I signed up a few months ago, as I was referred by someone who wrote a blog post about this site and how much you can earn. It definitely looked interesting, as you buy a cube to earn money.

When I read the forums and FAQ I then knew how it worked. I must say it is unfair for a person like me, because I didn't want to pay $2 just to get a cube. I did the offers available to equal that $2, and started advertising my site.

It is very cool that you earn money for clicking cubes and offers, and you add more value to your cube. The more the value your cube, the higher your position in the order of the cube, which means a higher chance of visitors to your site and more cash.

I made only about $0.50 in real cash, which most of it I reinvested into the cube to get more value.

I find overall this advertising is not that effective, and if you don't invest a lot of money you will get easily buried in the listing and be wasting money.

Not Your Ordinary Site

I joined this site because it was being referred on another site I belong to. Curiosity got the best of me. Once I signed up, I noticed how unique this site was with their cubes. I mostly use this site for advertising purposes and with a cube only costing 1 pound, I just could not go wrong. Thanks to this site I am receiving additional exposure to my site. I also like the games that you can play. They are fun. I am never limited to just one way to gain more exposure to my site. There are many ways to earn cubes or you can outright purchase more if you like. I like the layout of this site and it is very user friendly.

An interesting site, but I don't use it much

You Cubez... I signed up in April 2009 hoping to advertise a referral link to one of my favorite money making sites. You get a free cube which people can click on and see your ad.

Unfortunately, unless you are willing to invest some money into your cube, you won't get many hits. I'm not sure if anyone ever signed up as a result of my cube.

There are other things to do on You Cubez though... including PTC, and games. I found the games entertaining for awhile... in fact, I think I got addicted to one of them for a few days.

As far as the PTC, it not worth your time. Cashout is too high and there are not enough ads.

If you are looking to advertise check this site out, but if you are like me and don't want to invest any money into your ads don't waste your time at You Cubez. I have not logged in for a few months now.

Very good site

I joined this site well over a year ago. The fact that it was a British site paying in GBP attracted me with me being from England and the price of £1 per cube for a year was very appealing. There are various ways to earn cube funds, but the main way is to complete offers. I have earned hundreds of pounds in cube funds since joining, which moves your cube up the list and increases the chance of your cube being viewed. Although I haven't gained many refs from the 6 cubes I have gained since joining, I have cashed out over £21 to my pp and ap account and not had to pay a penny of my own money to the site. The money was gained from offers and selling my cubes because when you add cube funds to your cube it increases the cubes value so you can put your cube up for sale for more than you paid. This is one of the best sites I have joined and would recommend it to anyone.

It works great for some

I just joined this site a few weeks ago, because of a promotion a ptc site was doing. Since joining and finding out what they are about and how they operate, I am now clicking each day to earn enough standard cube clicks, so when I purchase a cube to advertise my site it will be at the top of their site so I can get more views. I am also trying to earn a little money from it as well, but the earnings is a little slow. One thing that I like about the site is I was able to find some pretty good earning opportunities that I probably would have never found else where. I would refer this site to others if they wanted to find ways to advertise their sites.

Just average to me

I've tried many sites like You Cubez before. This site, before signing up, states that it can help you get referrals. The only things they advertised were companies that I thought were bogus scams. The title however is very relevant, because in order to advertise my business I had to click on the cubes that led me to other advertisers. I thought it was a bit confusing starting out to be perfectly honest. If you are a standard (free) user, first you have to click on about 100 cubes in order to make a $1 in advertising money, not even real (cash out) money, just to advertise you business for free or you could simply purchase your traffic.

It was very important for me to keep my pop up blocker on because most of their advertising had pop up downloads attached and would instantly start downloading to my computer. I would recommend this site only if you desperately need the referrals, but I have moved on from You Cubez.

A whole new concept to advertising

You Cubez has taken advertising to a whole new level, and I find it really fun. I just happened to see the You Cubez website by accident, while I was clicking one of the ads on a PTC site that I am a member of. I first thought that the site looked kinda funny and weird. The site just looked like a lot of three dimensional cubes! But when I read about it and decided to give it a try, I had a lot of fun. The cube I bought was pretty cheap at 1 pound. I also earned using other methods such as my referrals, and clicking on cash cubes and the likes. I have gotten quite a number of unique visits from You Cubez, so I could say that it's a pretty good site. It's worth the 1 pound, if you ask me. And I enjoy too since the site looks cute and clicking on cubes are better than just plain links.
