YouData Description

YouData is an advertising network that matches up advertisers, publishers, and consumers so that everyone wins. Publishers can display YouData ads on their blogs/sites, and readers can click these ads in order to earn money. Advertisers also win as they get can get highly targeted prospects to view their ads using YouData’s unique demographic system.

YouData Detailed Overview

There are many networks out there that pay surfers to click and view advertisers’ ads. Many of these are called ‘paid to click’ sites, and the flaw is that advertisers draw highly untargeted visitors because most of them are only clicking to earn money. YouData is a new network in which the goal is to help advertisers get targeted visitors and spread their system to a wider network.

There are 3 participants in this network – the consumers, publishers, and the advertisers. Let me talk about the consumers first. To first get started, you will build what’s called a MeFile which basically puts you in a demographic so advertisers can target you better. You will fill out your interests, preferences, age, and gender to get started. The network doesn’t need your personal data like your name or address which protects your privacy.

So how does everything work? You can install an Adget while you’re surfing, and the adget will pop up and show ads that will pay for your attention. When you click on the ad, a video will play and you will have to click a button on the bottom right to collect your earnings. You cannot fast forward the video and will have to click the collect button within 15 seconds or else you will have to replay the ad all over again.

Publishers can also benefit by displaying. By filling out your blog description and information, you can start monetizing your site. When you display the ad units in the, you will be paid 2 cents per impression when the consumer clicks on the collect button (for every banner you display). By displaying 5 units, you can earn up to 10 cents per impression. Consumers can also donate their earnings to you which will help you earn extra money aside from the 2 cents per impression rate.

Advertisers also benefit because they can target the exact consumer their products and services are suited for. The consumer will also have to view the full ad rather than ignoring the ad like on television on radio. Most of the ads are from big companies like L’oreal and Lexus, but it seems like they are getting results and continuously advertising on the network.

Using YouData as a consumer, I found that it was really easy to earn money with the program. Within a couple of days running it, I’ve earned around $3 per week. I know this isn’t a lot, but I’m looking at it as my weekly coffee money. This is one of the few paid to click programs that pays you and pays you well. YouData pays out using Paypal, and they send you payment every Friday without any hassles. I’m really excited about this program because it helps all parties involved win.

YouData Reputation

In final, YouData is a great way to earn a few bucks on the side. The feedback on YouData has been mostly positive from users. You will not make the kind of money that will change your finances, but it’s nice to have a real reputable network that pays you well and on time.

I also think it’s a great network because they are offering value to both publishers and advertisers. Most networks usually disregard them altogether, but YouData’s MeFile really helps advertisers target the consumer they want without wasting their budget. I highly recommend you take YouData for a spin.

Youdate not all that

I joined because a friend told me that he was making two and three dollars a week. I signed up and the first week was ok but I only made $1.30. It has been two weeks and I have made nothing. I go to the site and there is nothing available.

Maybe my profile is not the profile that investors are looking for. Most of these types of sites have a target age group as well as back ground. If you do not fit this then you do not get to view sites that pay you. These types of sites are hit and miss some will fit your life style and you will make a lot of money while others will not a be a total bust. The only way you will know if it is a hit or miss is by signing up and giving the site a try.

I really like the advertising

I've been a YouData member for 3 1/2 weeks and have been paid 3 times. I've had the same experience as the rest of the comments regarding the number of ads. What I really like about this site is that the ads are from legitimate stores and online businesses that I've actually heard of. Last week I ordered from an ad with a good sale. I'll check each day and continue with them because they are fairly new and I hope that they will expand as they become better known.

Great up-and-coming site

YouData is similar to a pay-to-click site in the sense that you do view ads. The difference is that they show you ads that apply to you directly. YouData is consistently timely in payouts. I can count on the payment being in my paypal account every Friday. They have never messed up a payment. Another great thing about YouData is that they pay you $1 for every referral. The only downside to this website is that there aren't a ton of ads to view at the moment. This is because they are still trying to reach more advertisers. As YouData's popularity grows I anticipate that the amount of ads available will grow as well. I would highly recommend this site because the company is very professional.

Very reliable site!

I have been with You Data since December 2008. At first I had a few ads a week to view, but nowadays I'm fortunate to find one ad every two weeks. It is still worth it. All the ads pay 10 cents or more (usually). This beats any other PTC by far.

They pay through PayPal every Friday. Unfortunately a few cents are taken off the total for a PayPal fee, otherwise it is a prompt payment and I have no complaints.

I have earned nearly $10 with them so far. I plan to keep using this site as long as it is open. I strongly recommend it.

I've Been Paid Twice

YouData is my favorite site to view ads, mainly because there is no minimum to get paid. I like the fact that they pay automatically every Friday afternoon/evening no matter how much money I've made that week. My first week I made . 55, but then the next week I made . 10. I do not have any referrals yet, but am working on it. I was disappointed that last week I did not have ANY ads at all, even though I have completed the whole personal survey. It seems like I either get no ads at all, or a lot at once. Like a couple days ago I received . 35 worth of ads at once! I really appreciate the fact that they pay up to $1 per referral! That can really ad up! My over-all impression of YouData is very good, and I will steadily keep using it.

I'm paid every Friday!

I joined Youdata four months ago. I've only been paid about $6 which isn't bad considering I check ads once a week, and it doesn't take long to view them. They have had good ads for women and children clothes. Since their site is targeted to your profile, those are the ads I usually see. The first week was my biggest payout ($3.80) and the most ads I've seen in one week. After that I've been averaging anywhere from 11 to 30 cents a week for two to three ads. Not a lot but it's very little time to see ads that interest you ,and it's paid by PayPal every Friday with no problems. The only complaint I have is the number of ads, I wish there were more!

YouData Positive Feedback

When I first signed up, I was a little skeptical. I didn't know what to expect, and I regarded YouData as little more than a scam. This is certainly not true. The ads pay very well, many of them 10 cents a piece! I earned over $2 on my first day! YouData also pays every Friday to PayPal, and I was genuinely surprised to find that the site actually pays out. I certainly recommend this site to anyone who wants to earn a few extra bucks.

Earn an etra, but wont make you rich

Youdata is a pretty new site, and I got to know about it through a friend on one of the social network sites. I have been registered and active for some months now.

When you register, the account is linked to your cell phone hence it is difficult to have multiple accounts. You get paid every Friday through PayPal and it's consistent.

Although, there are some weeks when you don't get ads to view at all, it means no payment for that week(s).

Relatively, it's a very good site to earn a few extra but will not make you rich.

Not many ads, but they're consistant!

It's true, YouData doesn't provide me many ads a week, but I check back every day and click on what I do get, and like clockwork there's cash in my PayPal account every Friday.

I love the specialized ad viewer mechanism and the site in general. It's very professional, very thorough, and easy to use. The best part for me though, is that the advertisements on the site are actually interesting to me! The profile creation process does take a long time, but getting quality ads that I'd actually consider buying something from means a lot to me.

There's really no reason not to use this site!

Wish there were more sites like this out there

I joined the site thinking it was one of those "too good to be true" sites because I was told how easy it was to read ads and how fast they pay you. I was definitely wrong.

My first week of joining, in not even two days I earned three dollars. Each ad that you click on, in about a second you hear a bell and you are credited for that ad.

They send your payment to PayPal every Friday. You also are paid up to one dollar for each referrals clicks.

The first week was the only time I've made the most. The second week was around a dollar. Now every Friday I earn at least from five to twenty cents.

I would recommend the site, especially if you are one who is a member of other sites such as this one, because every cent counts.

How I'm earning FREE from home as a SAHM

Reliable but slow earning

I've been a member of YouData for almost 2 months now. Since then I've been paid 5 times. The greatest thing about this PTC site is that they pay you every Friday no matter how much money you've earned. This means though that you must get ads to click that week to earn. That doesn't always happen, which can be the downfall. In the 7 weeks I've been a member of YouData there have been two weeks where I didn't get any ads at all to click.

On average, I earn less than 20 cents with them each week, but it's worth the minute or two I spend on their site each week. The no minimum Friday payments are also awesome! If you're patient and don't mind earning a few extra cents each week, then YouData may be the site for you!

Just okay now, I suspect they will get better!

When I first joined YouData, back in May of 2009, I received $2.40 my first week. I got excited and told a few friends on a few social networks I'm on and got a few referrals.

The next couple of weeks I earn $1.50 (week 2) and about $90 in (week 3). Then ever since then, I'll get around $0.20 a week. They have paid me to my PayPal account consistently on every Friday like clockwork.

They don't remain on my top list of things to do on a weekly basis. So I basically check once a week. But when I have checked the site at least two times, then there are more ads to view.

This is a highly recommendable site in my opinion. The only thing is you must have a cell phone and not one of the pre-paid cell phones either.

Looking for legit sites that really pay. ----> CLICK HERE<----

Absolutely the best PTC site in my opinion!

For anyone that enjoys PTC sites, this one is definitely the first one I'd recommend to them!

I stumbled upon this site from one of their member's blogs, and I never regretted signing up! I have been paid EVERY Friday since signing up with this site and have made close to $20 in earnings there!

They pay the most out of any PTC site I've seen, which is up to 25cents per ad, as compared to the usual 1 and 2 cents offered by other sites. You also get paid on two levels, per impression (just looking at what the ad is about), and by click through (actually clicking on the link to visit the site being advertised)! In other words, you chose what you want to sell your attention to.

I've also found that a lot of the ads are VERY interesting unlike the usual spammy ads you find on other PTC sites. I've found several great sites from YouData, including a wonderful bridal dresses site.

They also have a great support system. They have a helpful forum, and the couple times I've sent in a support ticket, I've gotten an answer in less than 24 hours.

This site is a gold mine for clickers! In my opinion, the best PTC site and one that's actually worth my time.

Make Money Online Free, Fast and Easy! - testimonial of a skeptic!

AWESOME & reliable

I LOVE LOVE LOVE YouData! The whole premise of You Data is that advertisers pay you to view their sites. However, it is not your typical PTC site. You have to login or get the widget to see if you have ads to view. The ads average out to about 10 cents each. They automatically pay you whatever you've accumulated each Friday into PayPal. You do have to have text capabilities on your cell phone and a valid email address to get the activation codes. They never use your cell phone after that. I have noticed lately that I will login and it shows I do not have any ads to view. However, when I login to the place where you actually view the ads, sometimes I do have ads to view, so I login to both areas daily just to be sure. They also have a nice referral program and many weeks I've received income from my referrals even though I have not had any ads to view myself.

The only "down" side to the site, aside from the glitch of not showing you have ads, is that they are not very active right now. However, the site is still fairly new and I'm hoping that with the good reputation they are building, their client base will increase and provide more earning potential.

Every little bit helps

I've been a member of youdata for about a month now, and I have to say that I'm impressed. My first week I made $1.15 and at the end I was paid in my paypal account. I consider that to be a great result.

Here you will earn depending on the available ads. Sometimes there are no ads, but don't let that frustrate you, because once there are, and you earn, you get paid that money at the end of the week!

I like that this site is not one to send you emails or spam you, this one is as simple as it looks. You also earn $1 for everyone you refer, as long as they also participate.

There is nothing that I don't like about this one. To me it's a worthy site. Very legitimate, no tricks.

I recommend this to anyone go ahead and try it. You may not get rich quick, but every bit helps.

Hey at least they pay on time

I became a member of Youdata a few months ago. The only issue with this website is that you will not receive many ads to view which means no money. I log in everyday and I usually never receive any ads until Friday. The most I make with this website is about 35 cents a week and that's including the money I receive from my referrals. I have about 8 active referrals so no, that is not much money. I like that when you view the ads there is not a timer to say how long you must view the ads. The ads that I receive are normal websites for women's and baby clothing (I have a child). I completed my profile as much as I could with hopes to receive more ads but to no avail. Youdata will not send you annoying emails to your person inbox, either. That part I do like. Also, they pay via Paypal on time every single Friday. I'm never excited about getting paid because again it's only a few cents every week I make, but I am not doing much work. I just click the ads and get credited. It's that simple.

Not enough ads

I have been a member of YouData for over 5 months. I barely see enough ads to earn more than $1 a week.

All in all, it's a decent site. I hate that they have sound effects in place for when you click ads. Little bells that "ding" every time you click an ad is very annoying.

Yeah, it's legitimate. I have been paid regularly every Friday, even if it is a pittance. They pay with PayPal and seem to pay on time, every time. That is a very good thing.

They say that they have only rolled out in specific areas for specific demographics, and I guess I don't fall into those sets, hence the lack of good ads. I'm still waiting for them to roll out for my area.

The BEST, most UNIQUE Paid to Click!

I used YouData for about 2-3 months when I was in the States and it was totally, completely, positively AWESOME. I see some people here complaining about less ads to click. It probably means that they have either way less advertisers now or too many users. I personally think it's the latter. Back when I used it, I used to get around $3-$4 per week easily! It is still one of the best PTCs around and I miss it a lot as only users from the US are allowed and I'm currently doing a Language Course here in China. Can't wait for the next Summer Break!

I love this site!

Ok, so you won't make a lot of money with this website, but the concept of this website is pretty neat: choose the ads that appeal to you, and then get paid for viewing those ads. You will however, depending on your demographics, make a lot of change.

Basically YouData is unlike those paid to click ads because the ads they show you are based on your personal profile and interests, so essentially, you're viewing ads of items/services that you'd actually like.

I also like the concept that you get paid every Friday, meaning there is no minimum payout.

The only negative aspect of this site is that you must have text messaging for confirmation, beyond that, text messaging is not needed.

Not enough ads

I signed up for YouData about 3 weeks ago. The first problem I hit was with my cell phone carrier. You need to have a cell phone in order to receive an activation code. They send the one text and no more. Unfortunately only certain carriers are supported. If you have Net10 or Tracfone you're out of luck for now. Even though I have Net10, my son has Virgin Mobile and it worked with that carrier.

Filling out the MeFile takes a while but you really need to do it. That's how they match advertisers to you.

You won't get any notification that there are ads available for you, so you do need to check daily, sometimes multiple times a day.

They do pay every Friday via PayPal. However, I noticed that they do withhold some of your earnings for a transaction fee. Not much, but you do need to be aware of that.

My biggest complaint about YouData is there just aren't a lot of ads for me to view. I had enough for $2 the first week, nothing the second week, and 2 ads for 20 cents last week. It might be my demographics or it could be that they are relatively new.

Definitely give it a try. It's nice to get a little something for watching a few ads.

YouData Pays

I am a member at YouData, it's a really great site. The pay is a little low but they are legit, and they pay out every Friday like clock work. I have never had any problems. I would recommend it to friends and others. Plus, it's really easy. A lot less to it than other sites that want you to click ads constantly. Have fun with this one.

Great site

I found out about youdata from a forum. Alot of people were saying how great they were and that they really do pay. So I decided to join and in my first week I made $3.54. After that, I earned $1 and something. After the second week, I started to earn around 20 to 30 cents per week. They pay you every Friday through paypal. I would recommend this site to others because I have always been paid by them. You also get great support if a problem were to occur. I got a response for a problem I was having in under 24 hours. It is a ptc site, and it is a little more promising than some of these other ptc sites.

I love this company!

I love Youdata.com. They're a non-hassle company that pays out reliably on every Friday if you have any sort of balance. The ads are easy to view and you can view them 5 at a time unlike many other similar services. Another nice little bonus is that the ads are actually relevant to your interests! They send them based on your Me File.

What is a Me File? It's simple really, a Mefile is a small series of simple surveys giving the company and idea about your interests and lifestyle. They take this information and use it to send only ads you may be interested in.

For better or worse it's a good system. That being said, they don't have many ads for me. Perhaps because I'm a male and don't have children? I'm left to understand after talking to a few people that they seemingly have more for parents and women.

Having said all this, I'd still recommend Youdata.com to people who are looking to view ads and get paid by a reliable company. They do ask for a cell phone number in the sign up which was a turn-off. However they only use the phone number to sms message you a verification code to make sure you're a real person.

So go on over and start getting paid for your attention!

Easy, Reliable, Weekly Payments, But not a lot

I'm pretty impressed with Youdata. The offers differ in range, but usually you get about .05 for simply looking at an ad and another .05 for actually viewing the website attached to it. Ads are shown to you based on your interests, career, hobbies and other info you provide to the service through their surveys when you join, so you don't receive zillions of ads you aren't interested in. I actually have been interested enough to shop at a couple of the sites advertised, which is unusual in most of the PTCs I've used. They do have a referral program, but it's not the best out there. One tier, and you receive 1 cent for each ad your referrals click. I've made $.54 from my 3 referrals since May, which isn't much but pretty decent considering I'm not doing anything to earn that. Youdata is great in that they pay out every single week to every user, so long as you've provided a Paypal address to them, even if you only have 1 cent in your file that week. They also offer a downloadable adget that you can pop open and will show any ads so you don't have to visit their site every day. The one downside of this service? Not many ads are actually given. I have gone up to 1 month without receiving a single ad. Some weeks are good, others are bad, but it makes a little change on the side.

Yeah, you're not going to get rich off YouData, but that isn't the point--it's to sell advertisers your valuable time and attention and get some benefit from it, rather than clicking through gobs of paid e-mails or ads that pay you less than a cent each but still demand several seconds of your time. YouData asks you to download a small app, which you can check whenever you like to visit ads if you have some, and you get paid pretty much instantly through PayPal. There's no minimum level to cash out, so while that extra 75 cents you get through PayPal isn't going to pay any bills, it's still nice to get it right up front.

Other users have commented on a lack of ads, and that much is true; I don't check my stack very often because there usually isn't anything on it. I suspect that will change, though, as they get more advertisers. Right now they have more people signed up than they do ads to sell to them, apparently. But it takes almost no effort on any user's part, and it's a fantastic concept with a well-designed site. They're very, very up-front about what they're doing, too, and there's no irritating "survey" or spyware or banner ads or any of that garbage during the sign-up process, just other human beings as fed up with spam as you are. Overall it's a great little site--I just hope it grows.

I spent a semester in England; read about it (and my other travels) here.
I like to read and to give my opinions. Put them together and you get book reviews.

You Data Earn A little Not a lot

I signed up for YouData because I heard you are paid every week. That part is true, if you have ads to watch, you will be paid. The problem is that frequently there are not ads for you to watch, or you could be making as little as 10 or twenty cents per week. The process is kind of fun though, you click on the ads that are posted to your files and look at them. You pay attention and are paid and then go to the advertisers web page where you see a full page ad. A little timer goes off and then you get credited. As I said, the earnings are small, but the site is fun. I would recommend it because it is always nice to have a little money coming in.

Unique Concept

I had heard about YouData for quite some time, but was unable to sign up because of the requirement of a cell phone (I'm not that trusting). A few months ago I came back across the site after hearing a lot of talk in a forum about the site, so I gave in and signed up.

My first few weeks I averaged about $3, but as of recently the amount of ads to click on has become less and less. I assume this is because of a lack of advertisements at the time, and I'm hoping things do pick back up.

While I don't have any referrals, I have heard from others that I know that with a few referrals you can make pretty good money each week considering the little bit of work you need to do.

YouData has paid out on time for me every time so I have no complaints other then the lack of ads lately. I have faith this will change soon though and all the ads available before will be there again.

I do recommend anyone looking for an extra few bucks each week, with out a lot of work, to sign up. It's great!

Hardly Any Ads!

I joined YouData a little over two months ago. Upon first joining I was presented with many ads, and for the first few weeks my earnings were around $2-$3 per week. It has since dropped to under . 20 cents per week and now 0 cents per week. For the past month I have received 0 ads total to click on. This is a very legitimate company and they do pay, but right now they don't have many advertisers so you will not earn very much. Their referral program is also decent, but it is hard to get referrals as they need to input their cell phone number to sign up and most people become nervous about doing this. Overall I would recommend joining YouData as it is good for earning a few cents, even if they are far and in between.
