Andrew Lock is a British born marketing advisor who presents a WebTV show called “Help! My Business Sucks!” Despite the name of the show, Andrews business and marketing advice is aimed at intermediate and advanced level online business owners.
Andrew is one third of the “Lock, Lee, and Farrell” trio, a group of marketing advisors (Andrew Lock, Ryan Lee, and Chris Farrell) who have positioned themselves as the “good guys, in a world that’s saturated with poor quality advisors and products that fail to live up to their claims”.
Andrew regularly speaks internationally to small business audiences at “Lock, Lee, and Farrell” and SAM events, as well as on stages with and for Dan Kennedy, T Harv Eker, Success Resources, Peak Potentials, Yanik Silver, Blog World & New Media Expo, and many others.
In the late 1990’s, Andrew managed a well-known celebrity in the UK. Having had some success creating a few info-products with the celebrity, in 2003 Andrew moved to the USA, where he developed a system for eBay, using it as a lead generation tool to build a mailing list of people who are interested in a specific niche. Andrew’s eBay strategy is different from what 99% of eBay sellers do, and his popular H3 training explains how to adapt the system for any business.
Andrew’s WebTV show (aka video podcast) “Help! My Business Sucks!” was launched in April 2008, and it has been running continuously since that time. The show is usually studio based at Andrew’s TV studio in Salt Lake City, and occasionally the show is recorded on location. Some episodes feature guest interviews, but the typical format is a chit chat introduction, followed by a question from a viewer (with Andrew’s answer), then “Nifty Clicks”, where Andrew shares a little known, useful web resource, and finally a segment called “Big Lessons from Big Brands” where Andrew adapts something smart that a big business has done, and applies the principle to small business owners, so they can benefit too.
Andrew hosts trainings at his studio from time to time, to show others how they can create a profitable WebTV show of their own, and he also hosts an advanced level mastermind group of around 15 – 18 members each year.
Andrew also runs http://www.NiftyClicks.com, a spin-off membership site from the WebTV show.
Andrew has written and co-written numerous business books on the topics of marketing, eBay, and small business.
Andrew has freely provided his WebTV show, “Help! My Business…” online since 2008, and he’s stayed consistent while many others have come and gone. Many of Andrew’s products, including his eBay training, and his course about how to create a WebTV show are physical, big box courses with manuals, CD’s, DVD’s, and other components. Andrew focuses on helping people to build a real, sustainable, long-term business, rather than going for the quick sale or jumping around different business opportunities.
Andrew writes for a number magazines including Website Magazine, and Costco Magazine, and he’s been a featured contributor for Business Week, and Entrepreneur.

Decent Show Decent show but lately it seems a bit lack luster... the background changed and I don't know, just seems like maybe his heart isn't in it anymore. I'm not sure what happened with gotbiz. tv but that seems to be done too. Still, have learned some neat tips from him over the months watching.

Andrew Lock's WebTV show is the highlight of my week I've been a big fan of Andrew Lock for awhile now. His weekly, Help! My Business Sucks show has been really helpful for my business and I've recommended it to many of my friends who run small businesses. I like Andrew's presentation style and the fact that he's 'real'. He doesn't try and be a guru or prove his status, but he has genius insights that always make me think. I bought Andrew's 'How to create a WebTV show' package and although I would have liked more help with the editing part, I take his point that it's better to outsource the editing and not get bogged down with learning that skill. I'm just interested in editing, so I like to play with that technology! |

Andrew Lock delivers tons of great advice for free every week Andrew is my go-to guy for marketing. Why? Because he has been doing his free Internet TV show (Help! My Business Sucks!) for a couple of years now, without even requiring an opt-in. I find that quite extraordinary, don't you? At a time when most Internet marketers are providing less value, Andrew is consistently delivering incredible value to his audience. I'm a subscriber to Microwave Marketing and Nifty Clicks, and they're both great products. On one occasion the DVD of the month was broken when it arrived and they sent me a replacement right away, no quibble, and they even apologized even though it was probably the fault of the postal service! Another thing I like about Andrew is that he doesn't rely on hype or a hard-sell approach. I find that a breath of fresh-air. The quality of his training is evident just in his weekly shows, so I guess he doesn't need to rely on hype. James F. B. |

Andrew is clever I've been using my web-shop products to sell on Ebay for close to two years now but I've never tried generating leads off Ebay. Once Andrew Lock was introduced to me by my friend, I got into a whole new way of using Ebay. I've gotten countless leads to people who are interested in more of my products on Ebay to come to my site. His methods are the best I've tried for generating leads and don't have the chance of losing any money. Andrew Lock provides free advice on how to set up these links and leads on your existing Ebay account and makes it easy to do.

The eBay Slap Andrew Lock was the first person I heard talking about the eBay Slap. Basically, eBay doesn't allow digital download products to be sold unless they're in the classified section. I've done a few things on eBay all based off of Andy's advice. It's really not all that difficult. If you're going to do anything on eBay, then Andy is the guy to look to. |

Fortunate to meet Andrew at Underground Seminar I was really fortunate to meet and hear Andrew's presentation at Yanik's Underground Online Seminar. His use of eBay for lead generation is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed learning from him and look to see his response to eBay's not allowing digital downloads outside of the classified area. He is also a great marketer in general not just on eBay. You really should check out his online show Help! My Business Sucks... |
