Chris Malta Bio

Chris Malta is an Internet marketer who is an expert in ecommerce marketing and eBay. He is the founder of the huge product sourcing company, World Widebrands, and continues to help people sell on the Internet. He is the host of the EBiz Radio show and is an editor for eBay Radio.

Chris Malta Detailed Overview

Chris Malta’s credibility comes from the fact that he started with $500 and turned it into a 15 million dollar fortune. He is active in educating people about Internet scams and frauds. His site is a great resource that points out entrepreneurs on the right path to business success.

Chris became recognized as Worldwide Brands began to grow. His membership site helps marketers get ideas for niche markets, find products to sell, and locate products they want at wholesale prices. The site also provides complete training for those who want to work with physical products as a business model.

Worldwide Brands has received rave reviews from those in the industry including Andy Jenkins of Stompernet. This is a huge recommendation as Andy has built a multi million dollars with ecommerce stores alone. Worldwide Brands gives access to more than 8.1 million products and only puts trusted sources in their database.

It’s one of the best wholesale directories I’ve used and really over delivered on value. It was easy to locate the specific types of products I was looking for and the training was second to none. Everything is categorized so that you can find the type of supplier you want to work with whether it be manufacturer, wholesaler, dropshipper, or liquidator.

Aside from Worldwide Brands, Chris runs a newsletter on his personal site. Everything from video content, to articles, and resources are available for those that want to work with physical products. You can also get informed on the types of scams that are common online. His YouTube channel explains all that you need to watch out for.

He also has a ton of experience on scams (being scammed many times before) and is somebody you can trust. Chris save me some

Unfortunately I had signed a contract with another "guru" before I came across Chris Malta's World-Wide Brands. In two days I had more usable information - how to tell if you are dealing with a "real" wholesaler - how to set up a wholesaler account - do's and don'ts of buying bulk wholesale - and much more.

In addition, my first view of Chris's scam-busting tour videos let me know that I could charge-back some of the worthless junk programs I had fallen for. This resulted in my saving enough so I could enroll in his upcoming Webinar. Before I got the charge-backs, my cards were maxed out and I couldn't afford it. I am still awaiting other charge-back disputes.

He or a member of his team have twice answered questions I sent by e-mail the SAME day.

A Very Positive Experience With Chris Malta

The only experience I've ever had with Mr Chris Malta is the one I had not 2 hours ago...

I was all hyped up about joining an MLM company and was on youtube looking up information...

Well, I fell upon Mr Malta's Scambuster videos where he tells of some not-so-positive things about MLM...

I was so upset. I didn't believe what he was saying and I was upset. I'd heard his name before and knew that he was an internet big name but I didn't care...

So when I got onto his website I took up the challenge - the one where he says, ''m a real person and I answer my own phone'...

I called the number (from all the way in sunny Denmark) and, lo and behold, who answers the phone but Mr Chris Malta!...

I told him what I thought of his video (I wasn't rude, my parents brought me up right:))

Well, he took it so well! It was 1 o'clock in the night, his time and there he was being so mellow...

And then he proceeded to talk to me for almost 1 hour about starting up a business, scams, marketing and so on...

At no time during the conversation did I get the idea that he didn't have the time and just wanted to get off the phone...

On top of that he said, 'Well, feel free to call again if you have anymore questions. '

That told me something very positive about this man...

And that's my experience of Chris Malta:-)

The most influential internet marketer on the web for E-commerce

Chris Malta I owe you my house and marriage. All of the storage of my webshop products were being compiled in storage areas of my house that were maxed out and into my closet and bedroom. Thanks to his drop shipping service, all of that merchandising, storage, and management was taken away from my worry list and it really ultimately helped my wife accept my business. I have taken advice from this man for four years and I started with less than one thousand dollars to invest to make myself successful in the internet marketing business and he showed me a straight path to success with little investment. He helped me decide what digital products to sell and where to start to build webshops. I owe everything to this understated man.

Long-Time Customer of Chris'

I’ve been a customer and admirer of Chris for about 5 years now. I first read almost all of his newsletters and e-books, and then bit the bullet and became a client of the Drop Ship Source Directory. Chris seems like a very honest, legitimate businessman, who’s mastered the process of drop-shipping, specifically through eBay. I would, first and foremost, suggest reading any of the free materials that he offers on his website, as they were very eye-opening back in the day and I’m sure still quite useful today. If you’re concerned about finding products to sell, or how to get started with little cash outlays, Chris is your man.

Great Service, Great Price

About six years ago I suddenly got the urge to prove I could be an eBay Power Seller in the minimum three month time frame. It was a challenge I wanted to complete. Having sold a retail mail-order business in 1998 however, I knew that I did NOT want to hold inventory. (I run a home business and the stocking and shipping can take over your life and home!)

Dropshipping seemed like a perfect solution, but finding legitimate dropshippers was an arduous task. And trust me, googling will give you mostly a raft of scams.

Somehow I found World Wide Brands. (I no longer remember how.) But I based almost my entire eBay store (AlphaSmith) on companies I got from Malta's sources.

Long story short, I made my goal of Power Seller in three months. I never once had a problem with his service and I still use it when I want to find a product that I can offer in one of my businesses as an add-on, etc.

Lately, Malta has become a bit more spammy with his mailings, but I trust the information he sends. He's proven himself to me.

Worldwide Brands and Chris Malta are the real deal

I've been with Worldwide Brands and Chris Malta now for about 2 years. I have found him and his companies to be very honest and caring. He truly wants you to succeed. The range and depth of verified manufacturers and suppliers is tremendous. I never would have found any products to sell without his help.

Archangel of IM -- Chris Malta Rocks!

We got very lucky finding Chris Malta so quickly when first beginning our search for online business and drop shipping information. The existence of Worldwide Brands information kept us from making any mistakes with "drop ship" middlemen who blanket the Web with their BS monthly memberships for effectively doing nothing but collecting a pointless gatekeeper fee from you.

The one-time lifetime Worldwide Brands membership fee is quite low for all the value you get, including access to strong marketing research software, and a great deal of helpful, detailed business-building information at no additional charge.

But the best part is Chris Malta's aggressive stand against online scammers who are just out to squeeze people dry and evaporate into the night. Chris has built a sterling reputation over a decade or more in fighting misinformation and ripoff artists preying on prospective new business people.

And he's not all lip service. He puts himself personally into the arena to assist each and every person who needs it, and he does it with sincerity and professionalism at every step.

And if you want to take things to the next level, his online workshops are extremely low-priced, considering you get a full year of totally unlimited personal assistance from Chris himself on top of what in our personal experience was the best 8 hours we've ever spent. The 8 hour workshops, which Chris personally leads, has gotten us past dozens of potential roadblocks right off the bat, clarified exactly what we needed to do, and laid a strong foundation on exactly how to do it. Continuing our involvement in the forums (which come free for a year with the workshop), in which Chris is also personally involved, has assisted us even further. Everything Chris provides has solid meat to it, never any vague teasers to be found.

We are now in the position of knowing our venture is entirely possible, and why it's possible is because now we know where to apply our efforts and just as importantly where NOT to AND in what order. And it's personalized to our particular business and product, not some one-size-fits-all "solution".

Many others have not been as lucky as we were and went through the fires of scams and con artists before finding Chris, and they have nothing but praise for how different Chris Malta is. He's the hero of all new IM business people and deserves nothing less than an A+ for his tireless and honest efforts.

Thank you Chris, for the help you've provided us so far and for being a shining beacon in a storm of cheaters and cons.

He is one of very few honest people I have met in internet marketing

In my dealings with Chris I've found him to be true to his word. I have times found him to be out spoken but always with good intentions. There are a few people on the internet who truly have integrity but only a few and Chris is one of them. He is on a scam busting tour and as I said he is very outspoken and this will get him enemies, but the enemies he gets aren't the kind of people you would want to trust as friends. It is true that he does coaching seminars where a person gets a Several hours with just Chris and 4 other people and they go over the persons online business and he charges about $500 and then Chris works with them for a year to get the business going. Lets face it you can call him and he answers his own phone. I've paid thousands for coaching and had to leave a dozen messages to even get a call back. He may not always be Mr Public Relations but when he says something you can be sure that it is what he is really feeling and he is not just telling you what you want to hear. Like I said he is one of the few online people I have met with integrity.

Took a Leap of Faith

I started selling online in 1999, mostly items from my own home and those found on my treasure hunts at yard and garage sales. Since selling online was more of a hobby to begin with I soon yearned to go farther and grow larger which lead me to Chris Malta and WWB.

I was very nervous about joining WWB to begin with and was skeptical about paying my hard earned money to someone that I did not know, even though WWB and Chris Malta came very highly recommended to me. I took the "Leap of Faith" and joined WWB and to my surprise at the time I joined Chris was running a special on a lifetime membership which I was able to get in on. Not only did I get the "special" price, I did not have to pay out a lump sum of money at one time and was able to spread out payments over a few months. The way I look at it is WWB and Chris Malta were willing to take a "Leap of Faith" on me and do for me what I could not do for myself, which was to find the honest and reliable suppliers to grow my business.

I spend enough time on the internet researching for new products that will sell that I do not have the time to research for honest and reliable suppliers. I thank Chris and all of the WWB staff for their dedication in bringing us the honest and reliable suppliers along with updates of new suppliers that they recommend. Since joining WWB I can breathe better knowing that Chris has my back.

The supplier list and the products, along with the analysis for each product on how well it will sell is amazing. WWB is my online bible whenever I look for a new niche or a competitor on a product that I am already selling. Thanks Chris and keep up the good work!

He's a Man of His Word!

I started an online business in 2006. As I searched through the sea of links for product sources, I stumbled upon WWB and decided to join. I was tired of coming to dead ends when it came to finding true dropshippers! When I joined WWB, I found that each source they listed was a true dropshipper. We found about 95% of dropshippers for our THREE websites from WWB! During that time, I didn't have any personal experience with Chris; but I trusted his business!

When Chris launched his business website that was aside from WWB, I went there and looked around and I liked what I read about his personal business "creed" to be straightforward and above board. He offered his phone number so that people could call him and he promised he would talk. That was hard to believe! I'd never heard of that before. So, I called. I really expected to get an answering machine; but he ANSWERED the phone! I was so surprised, I stammered at first! This was on a Sunday morning! I was working at my computer and so was he! Chris took time to talk to me; he looked at my websites and gave me some good things to work on.

Later, I joined his private ebiz forum and it's the best thing I've done since I started my business! The people in the forum are friendly and helpful; and they care! I mean REALLY care! Because Chris is the type of person he is, he "attracts" likewise to his forum! Yes, there have been one or two who have "made trouble", but that is not the norm and they fall away. I have no reason to believe that Chris is not a man of his word! Whatever he has told me he would do, he's done it; simple as that!

I recently took his workshop and believe me, I've seen other workshops for far less time spent for much more money owed. This workshop was an an 8-hour workshop on line with only myself and two other people! Chris looked at my website as well as the other participant's sites, and we could see what he talked about for each of us. We even had a lunch-break! It was worth every penny! He made the price affordable so that more people could participate. I've been on "Free" webinars where they tease you with info and tell you how you can make a boat-load of money only to hit you later with materials/tools that cost thousands of dollars! So the webinar was really a marketing ploy to get you to buy the big package! Chris' workshop was nothing like that! He provided hour-upon-hour of solid information and only-for-you information to make your ebiz a success or at least put you on the right path. It didn't cost thousands of dollars!

Recently, I had issues surrounding my business and I called Chris. I left a message and said, "Well, it's a little late on a Sunday evening, you can call me when you have a moment. " About 30 minutes later, the phone rang, it was Chris! We talked and he seriously opened my eyes to what I needed to do. Some of it I didn't want to hear; but really I knew he told me the truth; I just didn't want to accept it; but I did. And after I started that ball rolling, I really felt like I was doing the right thing for my business.

Unfortunately, in my quest to run an online business I've fallen prey to unscrupulous people who have scammed me. I learned the hard way. However, by no means is Chris one of those people! To me, he is a man of his word! I trust his suggestions and his business sense! Way to go, Chris! Continue your crusade to help people run a successful business without getting scammed by unethical people on the web!

Peace

One of a Kind -King of Scam Busting

I have known Chris for just over a year now, and when it comes to learning how to do business on the internet there is NO ONE I trust more than Chris Malta. Chris has built up a respected database of true wholesalers and manufacturers known as World Wide Brands. His company has expanded that service to loads of training on how to start an online business. And best of all you get all this information and training for a one time, very reasonable fee. No monthly or annual charges.

Because of my frequent participation in his forums, I have come to know Chris personally and marvel at his true compassion for people who get scammed out of thousands of dollars by hucksters who promise overnight riches and get nothing but empty wallets and broken dreams.

Recently Chris has been on a nationwide tour of the country (by car) spreading the word of how to protect yourself from scammers and even giving advice to folks who got taken on how to get back most of the money.

In my mind, Chris Malta is the Johnny Appleseed of ebiz success.

One of the last few "Good Guys" out there!

What can I say about Chris that hasn't been said already? Where to start? All the positive reviews on here are completely accurate!

I joined WWB a little over 1 1/2 years ago and soon after joined his personal ebiz forum. WWB is by far the most reputable "product sourcing" company on the internet.

The money spent for a "lifetime" membership is worth every penny and the staff is incredible, especially Chris. There was a post that said Chris and WWB make you think that you can only be successful and find wholesalers using their program/contacts. This is completely false. In fact WWB and Chris actually tell you that you can find out all this info yourself.

Yes you can find suppliers yourself, but the catch here is that it takes time and lots of it. When you do get ahold of suppliers many of them will NOT work with small businesses.

So what Chris and his staff do at WWB is invaluable when it comes to saving you precious time trying to find suppliers. They've already done the work and have found suppliers that WILL WORK with small ebiz owners.

Now onto Chris himself. I have personally known Chris for about 1yr and in that time he has proven to be everything he claims to be. I haven't had the chance to partake in one of his workshops, but everyone I have talked to that has, have had nothing but positive things to say.

One last note. I had the pleasure of meeting Chris in my hometown during his roadtrip. There was a lady there to meet him as well and she really really needed his help. She had been scammed out of thousands of dollars and was about to have her house taken away.

We arrived at 7pm and left at 10pm that night and Chris was still there with this woman helping her. He didn't have to do this. He could have done this through email or telephone or could have dismissed her entirely.

A few of the posts on here have been negative and that's their right. I can't judge their personal experiences and won't try, but to those who read this review look at how many positive reviews compared to negative reviews there are on here.

Don't let a few bad apples ruin a stand up guy's online reputation.

Turned My Business Around

My experience with Chris Malta has been nothing short than Business altering. When I first started my business I was scammed out of a lot of money. Then once I found WWB and the Chris Malta Private Forum I was currently being taken to the cleaners. Chris helped me see that and get out of a bad situation before it became worse.

I have always seen Chris be above and beyond kind to those who are not in the forums. His patience far exceeds my own, and I just sit back in wonder at times. Never one to push his politics, or personal beliefs on anyone he allows others to voice their opinions. His opinions almost always deal with business, and it is obvious that he is there to help people grow their business.

I found WWB and then started to read all of the ebooks and free info. I really wish I had found that stuff before I first started my business. It is eye opening material that promotes no one and to tell you the truth, business takes hard work and time. There is no hype with Chris Malta, only truth.

I took the Workshop for $495. He spent so much time with me and helped me. I've since had phone conversations with Chris where he has spent the same amount of care and attention to me and my business. I have since found out that he is WWWAAAAYYYY undercharging. Most consultants charge $495 per HOUR or $2000 or more per workshop.

Through WWB I was able to get real ground on researching my niche. At the time there weren't any wholesalers through WWBs in my niche, but because of it's awesome tool I could still find the info that I needed. There are now wholesalers and dropshippers there within my niche and I'm thrilled. I know that through WWB I can trust the information given and don't have to worry about being scammed again.

Thank you Chris for helping me, my business, and working so hard for others.

Rather easy choice for me

When you are first starting out with an EBiz it is overwhelming, plain and simple.

What to do? Where to go for help? And more importantly, who to trust?

This is where I feel so fortunate to have found Chris and his company early on in my search.

With Chris I was able to get answers to all of the questions above, and he has been an invaluable resource of honest advice when I needed it.

Straight Up Guy

I joined Worldwide Brands about a year ago and despite the apprehension of the price, found it to be a very good value when I was on the inside. I've been a member of his private eBiz forum for about nine months now and the information I have received from Chris and the other members has been extremely useful and has led me to become an eBay powerseller. Chris dislikes scammers with a passion, a man after my own heart, since I had been scammed out of thousands before meeting these people in the know.

I recently paid $495 to attend one of his workshops and found that to be excellent value too. Chris doesn't mince his words or tell you what you want to hear (believe me I know). He puts it to you straight and there are no tricks or gimmicks to keep you coming back.

If you want to make it he'll help you, and he will also tell you that to become as successful as he is with his pristine reputation, you'll have to work very hard and be very honest. I guess some people don't want to believe that last bit so they fall back on the get rich schemes and stories of overnight success which are simply not there.

Chris Malta? ten out of ten.

Nothing but positive experiences

I have known Chris Malta for close to two years now and had numerous dealings with him. I am a Yankee and we are notorious for reserving judgment on people which has made us very adept at reading people's personalities. I see Chris as a very stand up guy willing to go the extra mile to help people out and get them pointed in the right direction to try and keep them from making some of the same mistakes he made in the beginning. He does not HAVE to do what he does, he does it because that is the sort of guy he is.

I know some of the people that have filed negative comments here and can tell you that myself and several others involved in Chris's forums tried our very best to help them out, but they were the sort of people that would ask a question and if your answer was not exactly what they wanted to hear, they would go all bad on you and anyone involved. There is no magic bullet that will make you rich online as most people are lead to believe. That is where Chris steps in to try and show you that you have to work an online business just like you would any business.

There will always be dissenter's no matter what or who tries to do to help out. I feel sorry for those who are willing to trash decent people and as far as I am concerned, they are just looking for some sort of pity. Facts are facts and they can not be disputed.

A good guy providing invaluable experience and material

My experience with Chris Malta has been as a member of Worldwide Brands, a member of his ebiz and Whole Sale forums, and I took one of his ebiz workshops recently.

If I had known 2-1/2 years ago what I have learned from Chris in the past year, it would have saved me tens of thousands of dollars. I'm speaking of things like avoiding multi-level marketing, buying expensive automated software tools that can get you slapped by google, and most of all avoiding extremely expensive companies like Stores Online, PMI, and iePlexus, all of whom provide massively overpriced services for things I can do myself.

Chris is an honest and good guy, and makes himself more available than most people would if they were in a position like his. His approach is more common sense than hype. There are a lot of free educational articles, videos, and ebooks a person can access on his site without buying a membership.

I do not believe Chris has ever deceived me in any way whatsoever. His free material is excellent and invaluable to anyone starting out online. If you then choose to buy a membership to Worldwide Brands, then it can be tax deducted - providing you are a legal business entity (more free advice from Chris).

All in all, a very positive experience and highly recommended.

Chris and WWB are Legitmate and Looking out for the "Little Guy"

I joined Worldwide Brands early this year at the start of my entrepreneurial journey. I spent a lot of time debating about whether the $250 lifetime membership fee was a good investment. After a lot of research, I decided to take a chance on Chris' organization. I have no regrets.

Through his educational programs, active WWB forums and excellent wholesale/dropship product sourcing tools, I was able to find a niche market and within three months I was turning a profit with my first online store. Since then, I've opened another store. WWB offers people who want to start their own business, but don't know where to begin a clear path to success.

Chris Malta has been on the road for the past few months spreading the word about scam artists who sell pipe dream "programs" for thousands of dollars. He's worked to get some folks who were scammed back their life savings. That's the kind of guy I want in my corner.

I'm looking forward to taking Chris' eBiz workshop later this year. At $495, it's a bargain. Others offer far less for thousands more.

If your considering an online business venture, you would do well to look into Worldwide Brands. It has the tools you'll need to succeed, provided your willing to put in the hard work to make it happen.

The sad truth about Chris M's World wide brands program..

What Chris Malta does is puff hype into the problems with locating suppliers of wholesale products. He tries to sell the inexperienced on purchasing an expensive previous screened list of product wholesalers; by emphasizing the difficulties in locating foreign wholesale suppliers. He also likes to give the impression that only through his instruction and contacts can one be successful.

If you're thinking about becoming a student, take the time to learn about this market before you jump into his program. I saved myself lots of money getting out of his program when I did. You could easily find out most of what it takes to make it as drop shipper just researching what you plan to sell yourself.

The sad truth is that because Chris M. works for E-bay, he is able to credibly make students of people attending his live seminars. Even his help, the more credible suppliers will only sell to a recognized business. You will still get customers that don't pay, or worse cancel with pay pal after your shipper sends the product. In close just do your homework before you buy this program.

Did not keep his word on an offer

Chris Malta has been touring the US on some sort of scam busting mission. I have also received emails from him as a registered member of WWB where he is promoting his online seminars for $495 a pop. I responded negatively by email to one of those promotions. When he stopped in Chicago, I was very surprised when I received an actual phone call to discuss it.

During the call, he made me an offer to pick a seminar in the near future and call him back with the date and I could attend it for free. I did so but when I called him back, he refused to honor his offer, saying that he didn't want to have to deal with me for the next year (his seminars come with 1 year support from him).

Contrary to common belief

I can't believe I have to say this because I liked and admired Chris Malta... at first. I joined World Wide Brands and believed him when he said he was a straightforward, honest individual.

I later joined his "Chris Malta's surviving Ebiz" forum. I was excited to be able to interact with Mr. Malta on a personal level. I gave him permission to take payments out of my PayPal account.

After a couple of months it was apparent to me that Mr. Malta's politics were too conservative and biased to be objective, and I was dismissed from the group. Which is fine. I harbor no hard feelings for that. But Mr. Malta continued to bill my PayPal account. He had told me in the dismissal email that he would stop billing me so I took him at his word and didn't pay attention to my PayPal account.

I'm a powerseller on eBay so I have many transactions on my account daily. Six months later, I discovered Mr. Malta was still billing my account.

I honestly thought that it was not a big deal, that I would inform him of the mistake and he would refund my money. Well that hasn't been the case. He told me it was my responsibility to stop the subscription. So I stopped the subscription thinking he would refund the six months worth of dues he had mistakenly taken.

But Chris Malta is a vindictive guy. He doesn't like me so he's refusing to refund my money. Honestly, I'm shocked. I thought he would do the right thing and happily return my money. The phone number listed on the PayPal account is the wrong number so I couldn't call him and he refuses to answer any of my emails.

I'm a small business owner. I need the money even if it's only $150. I don't know if he's trying to teach me a lesson or if he's just going to take my money because he knows there's nothing I can do about it. The way he dismissed me from the group without warning, then refused to answer any emails, and now by keeping my money he knows he owes me is both unprofessional and immature. AND if he doesn't give me my refund, he's no different than the scammers he preaches about.

Thumbs up for Chris

I have been apart of World Wide Brands since 2004. I have watched Chris transform his company over the years to meet the demands of his customers.

I first started using his services in September 2004 when I decided to try my hand at earning money on eBay. His system made it easy to find wholesalers looking to get their products distributed to end users. The system for signing up with the wholesalers is very easy.

I was able to find a wide variety of products for selling on eBay. I have also found products to sell offline to my customers as well.

There was a period when I was not using his services and had misplaced my username and passwords. I was able to contact them by email and received a reply promptly with all my information.

An Honest-To-Goodness Man

I was easily able to relate to Chris Malta because when he was just a beginner, he saw a lot of other people got scammed by companies and individuals trying to make a quick buck. He learned the hard way, and he learned good, because he is now making millions because of those experiences. I look up to him as my main trustworthy source of information on who and who not to trust online.

His "Starting Your Internet Business Right" has been a before-bedtime companion for the last few weeks as I am planning to start my own business together with some friends, and I find it a rich resource of what to avoid (scams, mainly) to help us get started. Having correct and reliable information at hand during a time like this is vital, as it will determine the direction that our business is going to take, whether we will make or break it. Since we don't have much capital to begin with, this e-book has proven valuable because in it Malta gives valuable tips on how to start a low-cost business. Overall, I highly recommend that you go to this guy for Internet business advice.
