Derek Gehl Bio
Derek Gehl is the CEO of one of the biggest Internet marketing companies called Internet Marketing Center. The company is known for their flagship products Insider Secrets to Marketing Your Business On the Internet and their Secrets to their Success membership site. Derek took over the company after Corey Rudl’s passing and taken the business to new heights.

The Internet marketing world was surprised when it was announced that Derek Gehl was the new successor to the Internet Marketing Center. But it wasn’t an accident as Derek has been working with Corey very closely for many years. Derek has become more involved with his readers and stepped forward, proving a personality for the IMC.
Derek is experienced in many areas of Internet marketing from email marketing, search engine optimization, business building, and blogging. Derek has built on Corey’s fundamental principles and has closely followed the changes in the Internet marketing industry.
He strongly believes in systemizing your business so that it grows without you always having to be working and present all the time. Everything from customer service, follow up marketing, product delivery, and even marketing campaigns should be automated according to Derek.
What separates him from Corey is that Derek interacts with the community through his blog. He also stepped up on teaching search engine optimization and explaining it better. Before his involvement, the Internet Marketing Center did not really keep up with the search engine changes and provided very basic information on the topic. He is also a strong advocate of blogging and web 2.0, releasing a product on blogging and encouraging marketers to take advantage of the hottest web properties.
In addition to that, there is also a big focus on email marketing. Email marketing has always been one of IMC’s most important strategies and they have taken it further by integrating RSS into the strategy. There has been some new additions to IMC including the BeBiz business builder, The Internet Entrepreneur Club, and improvements on their existing products.

Derek Gehl has a great reputation in the Internet marketing industry. He has successfully carried the torch after Corey’s passing and has made huge improvements to the company. The products and services created by Derek are better than ever and he is very involved with the community. Many customers and readers are satisfied with IMC’s products and content. All-Around Talent
Derek Gehl is a brilliant mind. I believe that he’s actually stepped down from his position at IMC, but, surely, he left his mark. I bought the “Insider Secrets” course back in 2004, and it was cutting edge stuff. This is an annual release by the company, and it’s one of the most popular products out there for good reason. The IMC seems to always be amongst the trend-setters of the IM world, and Derek helped out with that. Business aside, I’ve met the man, he lives in the same city that I do, and he’s an excellent human being. Whatever venture he ends up doing next, he’s got my trust.

Derek Gehl and The Internet Marketing Center
Derek Gehl has recently left the Internet Marketing Center. He did a good job, but the center decided to brand themselves as the Internet Marketing Center rather than with a person's name.
I have used their products for years. Their flagship product is the Internet Marketing Course. I bought the course 7 years ago and used it to build my internet business. I have also purchased upgrades over the years and the quality and information remain very high. My one minor complaint is that the internet marketing course used to be printed and shipped --but now it is delivered online. The videos are great --no complaints about the quality, but I do like physical products.
I also like their internet entrepreneurs club. This has a very good value for the money and can really help newbies make money.
All in all you can't go wrong with these guys.

Cory Rudl's Partner In Crime
Who better to carry the torch and legacy that of Cory Rudl?
I really can’t imagine anyone adding onto what was already a great business model (although in my opinion, usually outdated). Derek Gehl brought a fresh new perspective to the Internet Marketing Center and worked even harder than his predecessor to stay on top of the online game despite it’s numerous changes.
If you go to the blog, you’ll find a wealth of info any newbie can soak up before getting started on their IM adventure. Personally, I found his Marketing Tips Report to be quite helpful in solving the occasional one or two minor problems I have. It’s pretty basic, but it’s often the basics we all forget about that we need to master first.

He shares valuable knowledge
I encountered one article form his site. The article is titled Seven Signs that "Great Opportunity" is a scam. This is one of his best I must say. It involve topics that novice on Internet marketing should know. I really wished I had come across Derek Gehl's Marketing Tips site back then. It can save a lot of our time. Reading his article is like realizing all the mistakes I went through when I was in a hunt for a great opportunity on the Internet. The guy made it simple and straight forward.
Another article that is worth mentioning is his Seven Deadly Mistakes That Can Kill Your Search Rankings. Some of the points mentioned there are great stuffs and really helped me in boosting my site.

The First Course I Ever Purchased
When I started out on the internet The Internet Marketing Center's "Insider Secrets To Marketing Your Business On The Internet" was the very first internet marketing course I ever purchased. The knowledge I learned was a major stepping stone in my life. I also subscribe to their newsletter to this day. Always great information that teaches you and keeps you up to speed with what's going on around the internet marketing world.
I am also an affiliate of IMC and highly recommend their products to subscribers.
Derek has become a great inspiration to learn and emulate from and I enjoy anything that he has to share.
