Jay Conrad Levinson goes back a long way

I read a book by Jay Conrad Levinson back in 1980-1981 called "Earning Money Without a Job" that I can say is one of the few books that has truly changed my outlook on life. I remember at the time being so intrigued and almost shocked at the title when it caught my eye in the bookstore... Was such an idea even possible?! I remember that I didn't even know what the word "entrepreneur" meant back then. That book gave me hope as I trudged daily to my boring, soul-sucking job. Jay Conrad Levinson is truly a pioneer!

Brilliant guy

This guy simply defies the laws of the internet, he has brilliant tutorials on how to make online cash, he also produced a book called "Quit your Job" which I managed to read a little about and was rather amazed of his knowledge of the internet economy system. I therefore am going to rate this brilliance of a man a very pleasing A, for his spectacular knowledge.

There are various types of marketing skills and views present in internet marketing and each type of marketing has it's own way and it's own importance in regards to marketing skills. One among these kinds that I found to be a most efficient one is guerrilla marketing. This type of marketing was proposed much earlier. One of the famous marketers present in the world is “ Jay Conrad Levinson “. He became pretty famous by his revolutionary ideas and thinking and views about guerrilla marketing. He is the person who has the ability of delivering speeches and seminars regarding marketing not only up to one hour but rather he can up to 5 hours continuously. His capacity of delivering such a seminars has really impressed me.

This guy is gold!

Jay Conrad Levinson is a guy that really interests me, he’s doing his job very well. He brings it very nice with a video instead of some text, the use of the video and the quality of it are done in a way that everybody would be interested in. This is a very newbie-friendly method so that everybody would understand it and it really works. Jay Conrad Levinson also wrote books of which I have read all, the books are very interesting it tells you his stories how he came to the top. I gave this an “A” because this guy is gold.

Guerilla marketing has changed the way I do business

Jay Conrad Levinson is the first successful elite internet marketer to synthesize the use of online and offline marketing. In his video tutorials, he talks about emailing a client then following up with mail offers and newsletters to attract their full attention. This method has been permanently adopted for the way that I contact my clients. For starters, this method allows clients to reply by email to you when they receive your offer or advertisement which makes it so much easier for them to register or buy your products. Second this corners the customer so he is forced to see your website name or product more than once spurring further contemplation. Finally, this guerrilla marketing method will translate to less work because if the customer doesn't want to buy your product and does not reply you can cross him off your contact list.

Check out his book Quit Your Job to see where it all started

I had no idea Jay was around for as long as he is now. It actually shocked me when I just recently read a book called “Quit Your Job!” that he had products out before I was born.

I was shocked only because his material back then has only gotten better now…and it appears that at the time of that writing, he himself was just building his business brick by brick and the Jay we know now didn’t exist. He was just a business man who made deals to import/export salmon for a profit.

After reading Quit Your Job!, I am now looking for any and everything he’s ever published because if it’s anything like that book or Guerilla Marketing, I’m on board.

Anything that has Jay Conrad Levinson's name attached to it is gold!

I have had the great fortune to be on conference calls with Jay Conrad Levinson, I read all his books, and listen to all of his audio interviews.

There are very few of the old, or traditional, style marketing legends that have been able to translate their marketing methods from offline to on. I have heard some people say that his actual online marketing knowledge is extremely limited, but he has a talent for surrounding himself with bright co-authors. I might be jaded, but that has not been my experience.

My experience has been that his knowledge of complete integration marketing, using offline and online marketing seamlessly together, is completely unique.

For example, making sure that you follow up with customers online with email, but send them thank you notes through traditional mail, while it seems like it is common sense it is often overlooked.

But, everything about guerrilla marketing is subtle, and seems like it would be common sense, but as usual common sense isn't always that common.

I find his books full of relevant, useful, and easy to follow informat

I am new to internet marketing, so I decided to do some reading about what I need to know to get started. I have read JC Levinson before, so when I saw his book "Guerrilla Marketing on The Internet", it didn’t take me long to scan the pages and see this book really addressed what I wanted to know - the details on starting and running an online web presence.

This book is formatted with lots of sub titles and headings for quick, easy reference. Another great feature about his book (co-written with 2 other authors), is that at the end of each chapter there are action steps called “GUERRILLA FIELD WORK”, listing any websites and ‘to-dos’ that you need to accomplish.

This book has been a great companion to the learning I am doing via online reading, videos and even online courses on the subject. I am using it as a handbook, referring to it frequently to make sure I am doing all that I can to make my internet earning experience the best it can be. I totally recommend this book and any other's he has authored, which are mostly promoting a Guerrilla style of "something", usually marketing, for small to medium businesses.
