Ken Silver Bio

Ken Silver is known as "The Home Made Publisher" and he is also known for his Silver Lotto System. He makes most of his income from his membership site and most marketers are aware of how hot membership sites are right now. His how-to manuals led to his creating a forum that focuses on how to write and market ebooks.

Ken Silver Detailed Overview

Who is Ken Silver and why is he getting a bad rap in the Internet marketing world? Some Internet marketers call Ken Silver, "The home made Publisher" and others say that he takes advantage of individuals frantic to win money through playing lotteries with his "Silver Lotto System". Has he made any real contributions to the Internet marketing world? He is known for two things: How-to ebooks and the Ken Silver's Silver Lotto System. Perhaps where Ken makes most of his money is from his membership site.

Ken Silver has been selling his products offline since 1991 and online since 1995. He sells his main product using affiliates and gives 50% of what he makes to these affiliates. He reports that some of his affiliates make as much as $30,000 a year selling his products. One of his products is his membership site. His membership site has over 5,000 members each paying $7.80 a month for membership, you do the math, and Ken is raking in some serious cash because of his membership site.

His membership site is Ken Silver's Lotto-80 and as most marketers know membership sites are becoming quite popular and many say that membership sites are THE way to go to make money online. Marketers can start a membership site on any topic; Ken chooses to use the lottery as his topic. Ken Silver boosts that by using both his Silver Lotto System and the Lotto-80 system that his membership is all about; he has increased his odds of winning to 92%. Making money is obviously a huge draw to not only Internet marketers but to just about anyone who would like to have money for doing next to nothing. Are there a lot of people looking to have money for doing next to nothing? You bet there are! Has Ken Silver cornered a highly responsive and targeted market?

There is also Ken Silver's eBook How-To Forum where Internet writers and Internet marketers can come to chat about how to create ebooks and how to market them. Ken started the forum on December 16, 1998 and he started it to help others succeed in self-publishing. To date there are 48 pages of posts.

So what is all this about a bad rap? Many view Ken Silver's main product, "Silver Lotto System" which he describes as the "Honest Lotto System", to be just another get rich quick lotto system and claim that Ken is taking advantage of those who are desperate to have money. One such point of view can be found HERE. The Ken Silver's Silver Lotto System is actually one of the leading lotto systems online and is based on mathematical formulas. Others claim that people whom buy the system do not make money with it and that they go so far as to call it a scam according to this review of the system. So, the lotto system he devised has given Ken Silver a bad rap but is he redeeming himself because of his membership site (also focusing on the lottery) and his how-to books? Ken Silver is the author of "How To Make $100,000 A Year Part-Time Creating Your Own How-To Manuals At Home".

Ken Silver Reputation

Searching the Internet under "Ken Silver" you will find many good and bad reviews about the lotto system. You will find good reviews about his how-to manuals and if you look on the Ripoff Review site you will find there are 5 reports of being ripped off by consumers on the "Ripoff Report" site. The first complaint was reported on October 2, 2007 about being billed monthly after the client cancelled the Silver Lotto System. The second report was filed in July 2006 and concerned not receiving the lotto system after making payment and not receiving any replies to emails. The third report is from May of 2006 and is regarding the PowerSpread system for Powerball and an overcharge and no product delivery. The fourth report is dated February of 2005 and is regarding making payment but not receiving the product. Ken replied back to this complaint that he did reply back to the client 21 times attempting to complete the order. Ken claims that the ISP is blocking the emails. Ken has a page on his "Help Desk" that addresses this problem in which he asks buyers to check spam folders. The fifth report is from October of 2002 in which an international money order was sent and 2 months later a refund was requested but not granted and Ken did not reply to the buyers emails.

Dream stealer

I was gullible, I was stupid, I fell for the Ken Silver bull. I normally did £3 a week on the lotto, under Ken that increased to £30 per week, which would increase my personal odds tenfold. After a few months no new car, no new house, not even a pair of socks. So after laying out hundreds of pounds with my dreams destroyed and pride badly dented I realized it was a SCAM. I carried on doing the system on paper only, never a winner. But what about his winners you say? You get enough people playing you will get winners. When really it’s very similar to the old horse racing scam, let’s say you get 500 people interested in FREE tips, they all get two tips, it happens to be two races and each has five horses running in both races. Divide the 500 up equally will give you 100 WINNERS in race one and so on, you get the picture. Ken gets his winners the rest of us LOSE.

Non delivery

With respect to Mr Silver getting people to check their spam folder is one of the oldest excuses around. I ordered my copy of the lotto 80 system and the lotto pro 6 days ago and have not received so much as a confirmation email. The money has come off my credit card using his name so if anyone is thinking about joining this guy tread carefully. I have tried provoking a response from him by posting on his blog but no surprise he has now closed his blog to comments. Still more than one way to skin a cat.

No Reply from the guy who owns this money grabbing business

I have bought all the programs for sale by Ken. I wrote to him many times asking to fix his powerball numbers because they changed from 39 to 35 here. I even paid for the change. I was allowed to join his Winner Circle that I have not won once is over in two weeks. I think that it is not the proper way to run a business and I will not renew when my membership expires on the expiration date. I have wrote many times to his email set up, my tickets disappear and yet I have never gotten a reply pertaining to my questions. I would not recommend this scam!

Jack shite

I had been naive to Ken Silver's Lotto Crap. It may have some mathematical sequence but when it comes to results... ZIP. I tried to get a refund back no questions asked and yeah right. Stay far away from this man and his system as it has no bearing on how to approach the Lotto much less win anything. My grade is a Z but since it only goes as far as F... an F it is. I have tried many things like Amway and other system that leave you feeling, exploited, exasperated, frustrated and alienated by those who are supposed to assist you to your goals, dreams and ideals.

Account was diabled after payment made

I have been with ken's website for a month and when I paid for membership on winners circle he tried to charge me twice. I caught it right away and thought it was a mistake on my end. But when I renewed it for Jan 2012 payment was taken, but my account was disabled. This happened after I also tried to get custom profiles for $88 and payment did not go through due to insufficient funds. After that happened, my membership was disabled even though it was paid for because I overlooked my $88 would of covered the lotto80 also. There seems to be no way to get money back as there are no links to webmaster as they direct you to go there. Even though my subscription did not go through for custom profiles, my subscription for winners circle and lotto 80 should still be active because payment was made for jan 2012. It is disabled for other subscriptions which did not go through because he tried to bill me twice for winners circle and lotto80 again which left me short for the custom profiles. Seems like I'm out 30 bucks again and no way to get it back.

Solar generator

If this is the same guy that used to sell solar generators he took my money and never sent the generator. He operated under the name Ken Solar. I sent him $995 in money orders to "speed up" the transaction. I waited and waited. He finally sent me a wire some sort of connecting wire and said the rest would follow. It never did. This was several years ago.

Ken is playing to the crowd

Like many of the other commentors here, I too bought the Silver Lotto System and am not having much success with it as a method for pulling in the big bucks from lotto. I wondered how anyone could make a claim of a 98% winning rate with a straight face. I even emailed Ken asking this question and only got referred back to the FAQ's.

However, since I was looking for a way to start into affiliate marketing I chose his product for my first go. Have my website up now and looking forward to what it pulls.

You can't dispute the Clickbank Gravity ratings for the product although you may dispute the authenticity of the offer. Snake oil salesmen have been around forever, so I decided to be one of them for awhile.

I'm going to mix my internet marketing with one or two of these types of products and then concentrate on something a bit more genuine. However, when you do your Google keyword searches, you can't help but notice the gullibility of what people are searching for. My job is to give them something they are looking for.

Ken Silver is a Total Scam!

I just bought both the Ken Silver Lotto System and the Custom Profiles for my local Florida Game. I am totally unhappy with the product. It is basically a rehashed, repackaged Wheeling System. I wasn't too concerned about losing my money since I had purchased it from ClickBank, which has a 60 day Money Back Policy. I requested a refund for both products and was basically told to forget it. To get a refund from his products you have to send him 56 days worth of Lottery Tickets, which I have no intention of doing. Why should I have to jump through hoops and put up with such stupidity, just to get my hard-earned money back? If he was an honest, legitimate business man, he would give you your money back without question! All I can say is... STAY AWAY FROM KEN SILVER!

Silver system

I recently purchased the Silver lottery System. I was surprised (dismayed) to find that although he says it is not the old "wheel system" that I first read about 30 years ago, it is simply a repackaging of the wheel. The book I read cost 6 dollars. His cost is 40. I suppose there are some lottery players who have not heard of the wheel system before. He did a good job of selling it as something new.

I'll give him credit for his marketing skills. I can't help but to think of the term charlatan the way I got suckered into buying Mr. Silver's system.

I've requested a refund but so far I've gotten no response.

I feel like a sheep who looked over the fence for greener pastures and found himself getting sheared.

DIY, save your dosh for the games!

Give these characters a wide berth, things which appear too good to be true usually are. If you want to win the Lotto, stick to one within your own country, believe me, others will lose you money or cause you hassle... unless you have a 100% reliable relative or close friend in another country as I do. Have faith in your own abilities(the scammers do in theirs!)Save your money for the roll-overs or other specials eg at Xmas in UK the Euro Lottery also gave away 25 separate £1m prizes on top of the normal draw. Create your own wheeling system, or copy one and apply it to your favorite game. I created my own in 1990`s and played the same numbers every week on the football pools(same as lotto but more options, it`s only numbers, you just need to make them work for you)at a cost of £21 a week for nearly 18 months and won just under £75,000 from which I was able to buy a nice property with plenty of land. Don`t drink, smoke etc so a bit of poolsing/lotto is my vice. Now poor again I`ve picked up a free book written by Gail Howard and am using her systems to win my next big payout.

Ken Silver's Lotto Scam

I purchased Ken's 1st part of his lotto system and following the instructions re getting the numbers to submit to lotto office, I had a small win and was inspired to go ahead and get the full system, his lotto 80 system. Whereby he emailed me 4 lists of numbers to use following his monday morning update as to which set of numbers to use. Of course since then I have got NADA, and I tried for several weeks to at least get something. I have since then sent Ken several emails requesting my money back and even sent him my lotto forms, as per the money back guarantee statement, yet he hasn't got the balls to reply. Guys, I am on a pension and was hoping to get a bit extra money for Xmas, not find myself many hundreds of dollars out of pocket because of this scamming scum. Thanks a lot Ken, I hope your aston martin vanquish self destructs, with you in it; seems like a deserving way for a ripoff artist like you to go.

Products on faith

Ken Silver is a marketing master, his landing pages all read as being very rational and reasonable, and you don't feel at all sucked in. But I was sucked in. I bought the Lotto-80, PRO system, custom profiles, and even the Winners Circle membership for a year.

Following his system to the letter, using the custom profiles and the PRO system, I only ever won occasional Division 5 prizes (Australian Lotto games) that were less than what I spent on tickets.

But the one that really gets me is the Winners Circle. You are told it is a syndicate of 50 people, the investment amounts vary according to how long you are signing up for, but at minimum there is $15000 in the pot for a year, he claims 92-98% success rate and a payout to members occurs if the amount due to each member is $100 or more. He only contacts members when winnings are to be paid out.

As a Winners Circle member for one year, I never received any emails, winnings or any other contact in relation to the Winners Circle. There is no proof of tickets purchased for the syndicate, and without any winnings (remember the 92-98% success rate?) in a whole year, we just have to take it on faith that there even is a syndicate. I strongly suspect that it is just money for jam for Ken Silver, putting another supercar in his expansive garage. Would we pay for any other product that we just have to hope really exists? I am amazed at my own gullibility... and his audacity!

Ken Silver - " Mini Lotto Site" - Honest Lotto Program as an Affiliate

Well don't bother buying it! I have had no response from Ken Silver or any of his employees that answer emails. I paid my money $97 on the 2nd January 2010 to become an affiliate member of which I was promised a mini website to sell his product Honest Lotto Program. I did receive automated emails saying they would be in contact with me within a few days. Days went by still no response, I have now sent 3 - 4 requests for my money back and to cancel my membership, as he claims to have a money back guarantee. Well it is now 11.58 pm on the 27th January 2010. Still no response. Money back guarantee. Will keep you posted if I do receive it or not. I also purchased Easy Chair Millionaire supposedly teaching you how to be good at marketing on the internet showing you ways how to make money through clickbank and advertising on google, and online. I read it once I will need to read it about another 3-4 times for it to sink in, but I am requesting my money back on that E book too, see what happens, I will keep you informed. I think he is a rip off merchant.

A waste of time like a clock in the garbage!

I actually subscribed to Ken Silver's Lotto Ebook about a year ago, and I have yet to receive a return on my investment.

When it comes to online ebooks, and or products that are "selling hope" I think I speak for everyone when I say "yea right".

I took the time to read and study Ken Silver's ebook, and after completing the book I thought it seemed very legit, I mean he says something along the lines of: There is no magic method for winning the lottery", so with a statement of that nature I think your natural reaction is "okay he seems to be giving me something realistic".

However after playing the lottery for a year with no gradual return, you start to feel a little bamboozled. I have been getting a lot of "Ken Silver" emails but I haven't made any real money from his system.

What I spent over the last year would make most people fall into cardiac arrest. I do make my money back within a day due to various endeavors, but I was hoping to make back what was in a sense promised to me! I think he should create a better "safety net" so to speak for the simple fact that his customers that are naturally putting out more money than they are making, or in some cases can afford.

If they don't make their money back within a certain period of time he should personally send them some sort of memorable compensation for their investment, not just some cliche money back guarantee.

The way I see it is the general public is making Ken Silver "WEALTHY" not his system. It's obvious to me that Ken Silver and his product are nothing more than deceiving.

What a crock

Ken Silver and his teachings is not what it is really hyped up to be. Now I read some good and bad reviews of him and I didnt want to judge him off the bat so I decided to try the silver club for myself. And boy was I surprised! I was completely blown away about how much claiming success he could do but I had none ever since I had joined that. Ken Silver is just another hungry marketer looking for a buck teaching somewhat myths of what he can do for you in the bad economy.

This guy's alright

This guy is okay, I can't totally complain about his products and services. Here is my take on him. Ken is very helpful and has obviously proved to be successful through his own methods. Ken teaches plenty of tactics about creating and selling your own e books. When I was looking for a guide to get started with selling my own e books, I found his silver club. For a newbie there is plenty of useful information to start producing your own product, however after years in the game you see that his methods are all over the net for free. Ken means well and is successful, however he does not have enough of his own knowledge in order to make others be successful. Ken is alright, but not someone to follow.

His "Silver Lotto" is a rip off

I must admit that I'm only familiar with his Silver Lotto product and not with other products he is owner of. So I can only tell about my experience with that product.

For me it was bad. I joined a year ago. Actually I haven't won a dollar with his techniques. Ken Silver claims he knows a mathematically proven method that will increase your chance to win a lottery ticket. And of course I've wanted my money back. Double money, because he guarantees double refund if the product doesn't deliver. So I've sent him an e-mail, not only once, and have never seen my money since, neither money nor reply to my e-mail.

My workmate has said he paid for the e-book and never got it. So therefore, I do not recommend this product.

Silver is gold

I've only recently came in contact with the stuff that Ken Silver is responsible for, and so far I really like it. I've become a member of his forum and he and the other people are very friendly and helpful there.

Apparently he's got a bad reputation on the internet, but I can't say that's true from my perspective. His guides on how to write ebooks have inspired and helped me a lot. They're a pit pricey if you ask me but definitely worth it if you are planning to write a lot of ebooks like me.

I can't really recommend the so called "Lotto-80" system as I've lost more money trying it out than earning anything from it. Aside from that his ebook about how to make money online had some useful advertising information I didn't know about. In my opinion the public has a wrong view of Silver, I like all his ebooks I bought!

Silver Not Cheap!

It's not just that the system didn't work all that well, but also that Ken has something called "Lotto 80"(if I recall the name correctly!) with a monthly charge.

I tried that, but decided not to continue with it and so sent an e-mail to that effect. I received a copy of Ken's e-mail to a staffer saying to end my card withdrawals.

And...they continued?!?!? I e-mailed SEVERAL times, to no avail, about this issue.

Happily, I had kept copies of the pertinent correspondence. I phoned my card issuer. They wanted copies of said e-mails; the charges were reversed.

I did give the Silver system a good try - regularly for many draws. It's an okay theory, but only a theory/system.
