Ryan Deiss Bio

Ryan Deiss is a well known Internet marketer that has produced many popular reports and sold advanced courses online. He is an expert in social marketing, continuity programs, blogging, web 2.0, email marketing, and is very knowledgeable in how Internet businesses work. He also actively writes on his popular blog, Driving Traffic.

Ryan Deiss Detailed Overview

At the age of 25, Ryan has built several Internet businesses that produce million of dollars annually. He got his start in Internet marketing in 2000 and started out partnering with Jimmy D. Brown, producing many popular reports and running a membership site with him.

Eventually, he started to come out with his own training programs and his strategies have won the attention in the Internet marketing community. Ryan is a strong advocate of recurring income and believes one of the best ways to gain leverage and long term success is to sell something once and reap the benefits many times over.

He is known for supporting continuity programs where customers are put into a recurring billing program for access to a membership site, a service, or monthly content. He has put this business model into practice and created his Continuity Blueprint course to teach other marketers how to do the same thing.

Ryan is a strong supporter of social marketing and is active in many web 2.0 sites. He is an active blogger, YouTuber, and also uses Twitter as a marketing vehicle. However, most of his strategies are based on core fundamentals such as delivering value to the customers, building an email list, and optimizing his pages for the highest conversions.

Ryan sells many different products. He runs a membership site called Total Access Club, has a course for beginners called Your First $1000, a traffic course called Driving Traffic, and an advanced traffic course called the Wholesale Traffic System. His digital products 43 Split Tests, Optin Automator, Twitter List Building System, and Sneaky Little Email Tricks are also very popular.

The reason Ryan is a great teacher to learn from is because he has built businesses across multiple niches and has worked with different business models (from affiliate marketing, membership sites, physical products, digital products, and more). He also shares many of his personal test results which many marketers now use in their own businesses.

Ryan Deiss Reputation

Ryan Deiss is one of the best Internet marketers to learn from. As I mentioned, he has the experience of working in many different niches and business models so he knows how to build a successful Internet business. His courses have also received positive reviews from customers. You can simply check IMReportCard and you’ll see that most of his training programs are rated very high. I give Ryan Deiss my strongest recommendation as he is one of the few teachers that know what works and what doesn’t.

Same problem with $7 report as reported by VictoriaIpri and rcurr

So I bought the $7 report on "Partnering with Amazon" to get Ryan's insights on Kindle publishing.

I don't get a receipt, no email with my purchase info, only an email with a login to his website and a pitch for another one of his products.

The login to download my $7 report does not work. I send his support an email. Nothing. I call his telephone support number and get the message the mailbox is full (no wonder!).

I submit a ticket at his support site. It says "Julie" is working on it. BS.

3 days later I am still waiting. No response at all. I ask for a refund. No response.

My advice: DO NOT do business with Ryan Deiss.

Is Ryan Deiss for real?

I've attended many of Ryan Deiss' webinars over the years. I'm always impressed and have actually bought a few of his products and reports. Most recently I bought his YouTube/Google Hack for $7. It's an OK report and I learned a few things. A couple of weeks later, I got another email promoting this report. I wasn't sure if this was what I had purchased. The offer this time was the report was free and if you liked it, then you could send him the $7. I signed up and discovered, yes this was the report I had already purchased.

The next day I started getting emails, telling me I needed to be 'honest' and send him my $7. The emails were quite offensive and really make me question this guy's integrity. The thing I really hate is that you have to give him your credit card - you can't pay through PayPal. His company never sends a confirmation of payment email or a receipt, so you never have any proof of payment other than your credit card bill.

I was seriously thinking about spending the money to buy Ryan's Digital Marketing Lab, but seeing how he and his customer service team handle things really makes me have second thoughts.

I sent in one support ticket about this on February 13th at 10:24 am. His 'system' says that ticket was submitted on the 15th! Two lost days! What gives? I checked my sent emails and saw the real day and time I submitted and was shocked that they say they received it two days later!

I just really wonder if I can trust this guy!?

Ryan Deiss - Great Internet Marketer... Or Snake-Oil Salesman?

Once upon a time, I was a big Ryan Deiss fan. I felt his free info was insightful and helpful, not just fluffy stuff. I did not buy his paid programs, however.

Anyway, I purchased a report last week for $7. (It's not the $7 I'm worried about... it's the many, many times I've taken a chance and spent these low amounts and felt ripped off by the content I received. )

So Ryan takes my money really quickly. Then I get a link to download the report... it doesn't work. I write to the company. I get an immediate "We're working on your request" automated email. Days later, I hear from Julia, who can't imagine why this is happening. Maybe it's because they are working on their website. Oh, and I should try clearing my cache. OK, I comply. Still can't download the report. I write Julia back and tell her, "no luck. " Waiting for her response.

In the meantime, I google "Ryan Deiss scam"... UH OH! Should have done that before I gave him my money.

So, Ryan, if you're listening... you can't be one of the world's greatest internet marketers if you rip people off. This should be a simple matter... all "julia" needs to do is email me the stupid report, which I no longer even care about.

I can't help but wonder... how many people from your mailing list sent you $7 and are having the same problem? What a way to make a living.

Prepare To Receive Countless Email Offers

I used some of Ryan's ideas after getting one of his programs. However, his emails to buy more of his programs don't stop. I finally had to block his email as I was getting countless "special offers". Enough already.

Content of the program was OK, not tremendous. A lot of information readily found out there on the internet.

Social media manager program rocks!

Last week I bought Ryan's Social media manager video training program. It was $97, but now that I am into the program, I would have paid much more.

The program is a combination of videos, audio (MP3) files and printed material. Each training module takes 30-45 minutes to get through and there are ten of them.

This is a system where someone can really make money if you know how to use Twitter and Facebook. And it takes no time at all to get started. Literally you can make $500 your first week.

Takes money from people

Yes I sighed up for a three day trial & they charged me $200 for it & the people that work for him wouldnt let me talk to him. So they told me that they weren't going to refund my money, because I didnt tell them after the three day trial that I didnt want to do it. I wrote to them & told them that I didnt want to do it because it was too much money. But to me someone as high up as he is why would he let his people take peoples money & not give them anything at all. I have wrote to this man & he chose to not write me back. I just don't want him or his company doing it to anyone else. Plus it would be good to get my money back. AT LEAST!

Ryan Deiss a continuity genius

Ryan Deiss is a smart little cookie and people tend to not realize how good he really is. I got access to his Total Access Club and I will say it has a ton of information that will transform your business in nothing flat. Ryan Deiss does a lot of continuity and he is very good at that as well. But what I will say is that I had a couple problems when I tried to cancel my Total Access Club membership and I got billed when I wasn't suppose to. Other than that Ryan Deiss knows marketing like the back of his hand and how to drive a business successfully and gain the trust of customers and clients alike.

He is very intelligent

I researched about him and found that he is highly intelligent. I think that other marketers out there are taking notice to that fact. What I liked about him is the fact that he has a proven method of becoming successful in internet marketing. He is forthcoming and honest when it comes to internet marketing, and he does state that internet marketing requires work. I would suggest that you take a look at one of his e-books called "The Great Ezine Experiment" which costs $7.95. In this book you will find great tips about internet marketing. I would recommend this marketer for newbies.

THE Continuity Program Guy

He is young, he makes seven figures a year, he's a self-made success, what's not to be impressed with? I was first introduced to Ryan Deiss' Continuity Blueprint by a friend who asked me to help him build a membership site. I had absolutely no idea how me and my friend would go about doing such a thing, that is, until we devoured all the Blueprint's contents. From there it seemed easy. Well, it WAS easy, looking back. If we hadn't purchased that Internet course we wouldn't have gotten anywhere. Of course we already know the basics of internet marketing, but in this field, just knowing the basics doesn't cut it. Armed with the basics of IM coupled with Deiss' program, the learning curve was much less steep. And my friend's site wouldn't be as profitable now if not for the guidance of Deiss'. His no-nonsense way of putting things have helped us build what is now a highly profitable continuity program. A tad pricey, yes, but hey, considering the gain, the investment is worth every dime.
