Stone Evans Bio

Stone Evans is an Internet marketing expert that is known for creating the Plug-In Profit Site (PIPS). The system allows you to plug your affiliate ID into various programs and set up a site in as little as a few hours. He has also written several guides to help beginners get up to speed on Internet marketing and use the PIPS to make money.

Stone Evans Detailed Overview

Stone’s main program is the Plug-in Profit Site. PIPS is a fully running site that promotes various affiliate programs. You customize the site with your affiliate links and promote it in order to earn affiliate commissions. It also includes a 400-day autoresponder sequence which promotes the affiliate programs with your links.

Basically, Stone has provided a way to help beginners set up an online business. The website is designed and all the training you need is given to you. I think PIPS is a great idea for people who want to get their feet wet and learn what Internet marketing is all about.

The programs that you promote are Empowerism, Host4Profit, SFI, Traffic Swarm. Success University, and Lawn Chair Millionaire. All of these programs charge you every single month. So by promoting the programs, you earn residual affiliate commissions month after month rather than a one-time sale.

What I like about PIPS is that it’s a proven system that’s been around since 2003. It’s a strong business model that relies on list building and recurring income. All the training, community support, and promotional material are set up to help you succeed. In spite of that, it’s still a bit difficult to start marketing your site (especially for beginners). But once you get started and bring in some sales, it can really build momentum and build you a solid income.

There are some drawbacks to using Plug-In Profit Site, although not major ones. You will have to join all the services and upgrade your GetResponse autoresponder. That can really add up and put a dent in your wallet if you don’t take action and successfully market your site. There are also many other marketers that use the same template so it doesn’t help you stand out. I personally found that the site itself is messy and fell it could use a cleaner template, font, structure and ad layout. You’ll have to know some HTML if you want to make edits.

In addition to the Plug-In Profit Site, he offers a course called Dotcomology. The course talks about business models, web design, affiliate programs, SEO, joint ventures and more. It is basically a primer on Internet marketing. A video course called Newbie Videos walks beginners through registering a domain, setting up hosting, using email, and more. He also offers a free book called 30 Days to Profits. It outlines a 30-day plan to help people get started using the Plug-in Profit Site and start seeing profits.

Was happier when he used a different hosting service called GDI

I was happier when he used a different hosting service called GDI, and now he uses GDO, and I made money, and still have my account with GDI... but, he no longer provides the option of signing up with them.

Also, there are free websites, too. Yet, although he helps set up websites for free, it still costs money, over time, and hosting service packages really should not cost $120/per year. There are also other affiliate companies that pay well and offer the same services for less than GDO does.

I enjoyed my website that he helped build me, but I cannot access it, nor do I remember the address to it. I also do not think it is still available.

Some of the programs at his page did help me make a little bit of money. However, really he should be connected with trial-pay, too. If his website visitors made money with trial-pay to offset his costs of some of the upfront costs of some of the websites he asks members to join, he may be a little bit more successful. I would want trial-pay on his website, though to be able to plug-in-and-profit with, after I was a trial-pay member, too.

Unfortunately, Stone Evans was sued by the FTC and asked to remove his websites, and I was also asked by PayPal to remove the link from the website he built for me, and PayPal... and they would then remove a limit from my PayPal Account. And he is also listed at RipOff.com and ScamReview.com websites. This makes me worry about signing up with him, again, or prevents me from wanting to reactivate my old dormant account again, although I did make money.

I hope this review helps... it is a C Just OK.

Mixed report, not all bad

The main thing I have to say about this is that, just by looking at the site, I think you can tell that this is not what Google is looking for. It has the same flashy ad copy that all such MMO blogs seem to have, and it utilizes all the "limited time" and "call to action" things that the course itself teaches. The problem is that, while this worked in the past, I don't see it continuing to work in the future. I had my share of thin sites that were built around this method, but I have moved on from them because other sites started doing better.

I will just say, that, while I appreciated that this helped me get started, I outgrew it. I do think it's a good basic grounding for beginners, warts and all.

Stone Evans VS Federal Trade Commission

I investigated Stone Evans and found the Federal Trade commission FTC- filed a complaint against him in the United States District Court of Eastern Texas FTC File No. 032-3108

Federal Trade Commission vs Defendant- Jeffery Stone Evans, AKA Stone Evans and Mark Wise.

The complaint had FIVE counts against Evans including he promoted a get rich quick Scheme by using unwanted email or spam. The FTC said essentially Evans claimed that by mailing out 4-5 letters with $5 in each that participants would receive substantial income including but not limited to making $500,000 every within 6 mos on an ongoing basis simply by working from your home. Evans also said one could become an internet millionaire like others within one year. The complaint indicated the defendant [evans] promotes what is commonly known as a "pyramid scheme" that enriches a few at the expense of others.

Evans continued to promote the program through spam or selling "reports" even after a warning from the FTC advising Evans the program was illegal. There is much more in the filing which is compelling and raises questions on the character and ethics of Stone Evans. The end result was a "Stipulated Final Judgement and Order for a Permanent Injunction". I had a personal experience with Evans and his internet income program and to put it in a nice way... it was less than desirable. I have paraphrased this info from the courts documents due to the rules of this website. However, anyone can google the info and gain access to the specifics.

Plug-in profit site. is it good or not?

I joined plug-in profit site (pips) at the end of January 2011, and my internet marketing career only started in October 2010. So as a newbie I thought it would was the best idea to starting my home based business, and as I still will stick by my first decision. I am happy I joined. BUT as far as Stone Evans I will hold my opinion, I have tried to contact him as I have what I think is a good income stream for the pips program but to no success. His email account is controlled and replied by Pat (warrior forum moderator).

I have gained so much knowledge since joining pips BUT not from Stone Evans, but with the people in the warrior forum itself, some of my knowledge has come from Suzanne Morrison. I think Suzanne is a very successful internet marketer and I follow and learn from her whenever I can. Yes, I have had some learning experience from Stone Evans 30 days to success and the majority of my experience has come from other members or top-line internet marketers themselves. The biggest issue I have with the pips is that the use of an auto-responder company called "getresponse" at $14 per/month but one of the income streams is called "trafficwave" $19.95 per/month which is also an auto-responder company. When I approached Pat about this issue stating that I think it's "double dipping", the response I got was that NO trafficwave is an affiliate program with a bonus autoresponder. NOW I may be new but I am far from silly or gullible. So if it is not double dipping why not just use what I think is the better auto-responder "Trafficwave" instead of both.

Have I wasted my time with pips? NO as I have gained so much from the path it has lead me down.

Best Internet Business brings you the best online money making income streams

Not for me

I tried it, but it didn't work out for me. I maybe just unlucky on these kind of get rich quick sites.. The Only issue I have is that the product owner should have been more transparent with all the fees involved. They claim they will build your website for free, which is cool, but the hosting company they want you to use 'Host4Profits' is too expensive. There is a lot of other cheaper hosting companies out there, and they claim your site will only work at Host4Profits. I think it would have been cool if we could choose our own hosting company. This is one thing I didn't like.

Good for a start, but not enough!

As a long term PIPS member, I can say that it was a great start for me, and I actually changed my (pre-loaded) web site completely, so it's not true that you can't change the web site they give you. Obviously, the web site they give you is a one-page template, but as I said, you can edit it with any html-editor, so this is not an issue if you are willing to learn html.

The whole PIPS set-up is a downline builder and not a business in itself, and the recommended businesses change from time to time as well as the content of the 30-day-marketing course.

And yes, many of the tools are affiliate products your sponsor gets paid for when signing up. In any case, nowadays it's quite hard to join any web business that has an affiliate program (and there are much more than you might think) without the interaction of an affiliate, BUT: who cares? First, you don't pay more, it's the vendor who pays the affiliates, not you, and second, affiliate marketing is a legit way to earn money, and that's what why we are all here for, aren't we?

The only things you have to pay with PIPS are things you will have to pay if you want to have your own web site: hosting (Hostgator is now eligible, too, not only Host4Profit), a domain name and the auto-responder (Getresponse). All the other stuff is optional or free, and if you stick to that, you can learn a lot of things and start building your list. However, you will have to do a lot of extra-work if you really want to make money with it.

Stone Evans ifs a fictional character people

I joined PIPS a year ago and the concept is great but advertising that cheesy scammy looking ad-filled self replicating site says you have no character. You can't even customize it at all unless you PAY them. All they do is try to cram their so-called value of their ad co-op down your throat. And they do it while making you feel like you are an idiot because the Pimple faced Stone Evans did it... No he didn't. The Ad guy, (cant remember his name) did all the flooding of the PIP replicator everywhere. And it's a scam also because they act like they are truly 'Building the website' for you on your web host when actually you are put in a software file and then they just upload that cheesy script to your web server. If your an idiot and didn't think like I didn't, you may believe you actually have a fully loaded website with all the included files til you attempt to edit it and there's nothing there. If they were truly trying to help they would just load up a ton of actual valuable advertising training on their site and let you learn and just sell the ad co-op to gullible people with a lot of money to throw away for nothing. By the way, the PIPS people take your money to build massive sign ups for themselves. That's why they are always around the top of all the leaderboards. If they truly wanted to help you they would have stopped sponsoring for themselves a long time ago. Think about it.

His Techniques and sites should be updated

Hello:

Three years ago I signed up with Stone Evans and yes spending money put a dent in my wallet. I think that he should take a look at his programs and how much people have to spend and change the way he offers his clients the way to make money. I just couldn't keep up with all the money I had to charge to my credit cards. Needless to say, I did not make money with him.

Information is extremely outdated

Hello,

I was first introduced to the PIP's system back in 2006 and joined with great excitement hoping that I would learn to make money online, only to discover that the only one really making money is Stone Evans.

You see back in 2006, he was still using HTML sites, which I'm sure he is still using today. Any newbie online is going to have a hard time updating their "Free" website which is why he has a joint venture with someone who charges a $65/hour to make things that are as simple as color changes. Since then I've gone back to school and taken formal web design training. And frankly the least Stone could do is offer WordPress sites to people who sign up for his program so that they could at least manage and make changes to their websites themselves.

Also, like his free websites, the content and strategies are highly outdated. It seems to me like Stone doesn't really want to update his system as again, it's making him a ton of money.

I will say that the copy on the sales page and other tools such as the auto responder campaign is very good and that in "theory" PIPS should work, but it doesn't.

It is too expensive and too costly. Their are much faster and easier ways to make money online. I spent more money than I care to admit on the PIPS system and never made a dime.

If I were a newbie I would start with doing online marketing consulting for offline business. One of the best resources is Andrew Kelly's "The Offline Goldmine" .

Or check out the "My Affiliate Power Site" system started by some PIPS Gurus who have been successful at making money online and whom I have a great deal of respect for.

To Your Success,

Matt Fraser

He is just okay but spams a lot

I became a member of his plug in profit site with SFI, investing a good sum of money although I was told several times it's all free, it's all free. I was annoyed with this thing. I have used lots of products and services including it and I don't consider plug-in-profit site to be in a good position among them. Yes it's no lie, you can earn but only if you have time and money to put in this. I have earned too and but I didn't find him helping me making money as I and every member of his site helping him getting a Large income.

You will be annoyed with his lies regarding income. I am still a member and get at least 500 emails a month where he shows his writing skills. Don't even think of income just as he says. If you do things as he says and believe everything he says you are going to face a difficult reality. I earn through his site a decent amount but still I don't dare regard him as a Spammer. I am annoyed with his emails.

So step forward toward his site if you have enough time to clean-up your inbox.

"EASIEST WAYS TO EARN MONEY"

Lots of Fluff... little substance

I think whats important to remember as an affiliate of the PIPS program is that if your going in with the expectation that Stone is going to do the work for you, other than setting up your website, that's not going to happen. Any business takes hard work. Now there are things to avoid with PIPS including the dreaded PIPS Co-op that Stone keeps pushing and other costly programs in the 30 days to success training but be prepared to work at it.

MyWorldPlus Coop: Let Us Fill Your Downlines

MyAffiliatePowerSite

Need it to WORK

I signed up with Stone Evans's PIPS site along with SFI, Empowerism, Host4Profit, My World Plus. During the time it took to get my site up, there was some confusion concerning my site address, Evans, changed from Host4Profit to Host Gator. By the time my site was up, the day after Christmas, more confusion became evident. The PIPS help desk could not answer my questions. NO ONE could tell who was my hosting company. Host4Profit could not tell me if they were hosting the site, neither could Host Gator.

In late January 2010, I was billed by Host Gator and Host4Profit for hosting the same site. NO ONE at PIPS could tell me, why I was being billed by both. (on the PIPS site I was supposed to be an affiliate of Host Gator) So I canceled with Host4Profit. That day my PIPS site went down and to this date Feb. 15,2010 I am still being billed by both companies and do not have a site up with either.

My SFI account is now in trouble, My World Plus is in trouble, and so is the others, because of the confusion, NO ONE hosting my site.

This is very depressing and when you can not get a truthful answer from any of the companies. It makes you feel that you have been scammed. I can not get anyone to call me on the phone, the tickets through the email system says they will send to someone in the main office, but I have not received nothing from Host Gator, PIPS. NO one is helping to get my site up and running for the last 2.5 weeks. I do not know what to do. I have mailed I have tried to call. All to no AVAIL.

He's Always On Top Of SFI Leaderboards!

Stone Evans is awesome because he is always on top of the leaderboards, and that let's me know that he is doing something great with SFI. I am a part of SFI too and it is a great business. I am starting to build my business and one day want to become like him. He is a true leader with SFI and shows that SFI is the best way to make money online.

Good way to earn residual income, but it does take time and effort

I've been making an income from the Plug-In Profit Site now for more than five years and it provides me with a good residual income.

On the plus side I like the majority of the programs that are currently included in PIPS and I receive commission from them on a regular basis. It is an excellent way to promote multiple programs with one link. I also find that when people signup, their website is built promptly as promised and the support is very good (via help desk & forum).

The main problems I see with PIPS are the high drop out rate (most people stay for 2 or 3 months at most). The 30 days to Success Training recommends expensive advertising that doesn't work well (e. g. Adminder Guaranteed visitors, PIPS Co-op, Pushbutton leads) and the site can be difficult to update for new people with no HTML knowledge.

This is a good opportunity as long as you are in it for the long term and are willing to wait a few months before you become profitable. It is also worth remembering that there are plenty free ways to promote a website and you don't have to buy all the advertising recommended in Stone's training.

My name is Suzanne Morrison and I work from home full time on the internet. I'm the webmaster of a Home Business Ideas website and the author of an SEO EBook.

I am also one of the affiliate marketing coaches at the Affiliate Power Group.

Long Time PIPS member

Hi,

My name is Jeff Casmer and I am long time affiliate of the PIPS program. I found all the comments up to this point very well articulated...

Here is the bottom line and some basic facts...

1) Dotcomology is a nice ebook with some good education but is not outdated as it's several years old.

2) For the people who actually email Stone expecting a response? It's never going to happen and I for one have thought this is an issue. I did used to speak to Stone actually on the phone when PIPS was just getting started and have had some dialogue over the years via email but for every 25 emails you send he MIGHT respond to 1.

Now I know that he probably gets tons of emails but if an affiliate that is old as me has been around for years can't get a response it's not going to happen for someone who just started and has questions.

There is a lady named Pat who is the support person for Stone and PIPS and really that's it. Stone wont reply, wont contact you, and will only communicate with you when a new program is being released so he can get sales.

Now in his defense that's probably like most big gurus. I personally try to respond to everyone's questions or concerns and I am sure I have missed some along the way in my journey online. I just think that if gurus would actually respond to your questions once in awhile I know that would excite me and I have been online for 10 years... imagine what it would do for new people who just joined PIPS.

That's why a few successful PIPS members started a mentoring group for specifically this reason as well as the 30 days to success which is part of Stone's training...

3) 30 Days To Success - We have challenged Stone to make changes that would be better for his affiliates success and not his own pocket. Again.. don't get me wrong there are some good things in the training but the training is more suited to selling stuff then teaching. Again... not everything but a decent portion.

Now to Stone's credit we have challenged him to make some changes and he has made some changes for the better.

4) Hard work - You have to work hard to make PIPS work. If you're not willing to do that... don't sign up... period.

5) Quitting - Well... to be honest when someone starts a PIPS sites... and promotes it through article marketing or other resources and uses their PIPS ID what happens if that person quits? The URL if someone should click that link goes back to Stone's sales page and his affiliate ID. it's rather brilliant and he has every right to but I always wonder if he bases what he does on knowing people will quit. Does that hurt PIPS or help PIPS?

There are just a few of my comments after being a long time PIPS affiliate. You can be successful at PIPS if you want it bad enough... but you have to work hard...

Take care

Jeff Casmer

Stone Evans-Plug and play

Hello,

I too, am not afraid of hard work. I signed up for the program and now my head is spinning. In order to sign up for his free trial, I had to enter 5 affiliate #'s just to move forward.

The customer service for setting up the site was very helpful, but I keep getting the same information from Stone Evans.

I sent an e-mail to him, in hopes of getting some cut and dry answers. I've scoured all the websites that I am signed up with now and need to do something/spend money in order to succeed. I do not see how I will make $1 off of this program, if I don't spend more.

As I said, I am not afraid of hard work. I've put about 2 days of my life into this program to ensure I am off to a good start and am beginning to feel more skeptical as time goes on.

The SFI site, one does not get paid full commissions until after 30 days, and another membership fee.

I don't understand all there is to internet marketing, but truly I feel as if I'm making someone else richer.

Great in Theory - But Needs To Be More Up Front

First off, let me say that I am not the type that joins a program, then opts out because there is "work" involved. That said, I can continue...

I will say that Stone Evans PIPS is great in theory. He offers a lot of material in order to help you succeed. I believe he has set the bar so to speak for affiliate marketing and he himself has done very well. But...

In his sales copy, he is not up front on what it takes to run this program. I'm not talking how much work, but how much money is involved. Sure, you can promote for free to a point, but what is stressed is paying to market your site. There is nothing wrong with that and is necessary as free marketing I think can only take you so far. But those that are just starting out and newbies to the industry are going to find out soon enough, that Mr. Evans promotes paid advertising in his marketing guide. There are links after links after links to services that you pay for. If you realistically used them all, you'd go broke! As a side note, why does he not rebrand his guide to give us the opportunity to profit from those links? It's left unsaid that he makes money from that as well. Ok, whatever...

But Mr. Evans does not really tell you that. He should give you an option, as a real IM trainer to say, "Hey, if you can't afford this, try this instead". Much more credible and honest. Instead, he has multitudes of people dropping out with bad tastes in their mouths, because just a few days into the program, they realize that they're spending too much money. Those that are already internet savvy, will have no issues figuring this out, but woe to the newbie!

Let me break it down for you. Currently Stone is promoting the following:

* Empowerism - $24.95 to start then $19.95 per month after

* Lawn Chair Millionaire - $89.99 to start then $29.99 monthly

* Host 4 Profit - $24.95 to start and then monthly

* SFI - Free, but for SFI to mean anything in terms of building a business and commissions, you need to maintain EA status which will be @ $29.95 monthly.

So, you're looking at apprx. $165 to really get a "correct" start and ongoing of $105 monthly (all rounded up numbers).

Ok, no problem. That is relatively cheap to build a business, however, Stone needs to be upfront. This is all in addition to expected advertising costs he outlines in his training. Again, no issue, just be up front.

Much more can be said, but I'll end it here with this:

PIPS is a theoretically great program, but expect to spend more money than Mr. Evans leads you to believe. You finally find out how much AFTER you sign up and then get access to his marketing guide.

In summary, you're probably better off doing this on your own, by doing a little Googling, joining a free site like Affiliorama or an inexpensive one like the Wealthy Affiliate and learn to promote on your own. It's not hard.

Remember, he's not the only game in town. :-)

Worthless after sale support

I bought the internet earning package from Stone Evans and it contained several points about marketing that ran off the top of my head. I tried contacting him and his company but there was no reply to my e-mail and mail. I read on the net that others also face this problem so I guess I am not alone in getting into this scam.

Stone Evans the accomplished marketer

Stone Evans is an accomplished marketer. He makes you feel that he's on your side and that he's just an ordinary guy trying to make money online and trying to help you by building this free website for you only you have to buy the domain and webhosting with him. And then you have to sign up for all these affiliate programs that were supposedly to make you money. When I sign up with Stone Evans, I had to continually cough up money for this and for that. I thought I was making money but I was actually spending more than making money. But he's good at marketing his product Plug-in-Profit that I got taken in.

Grandfather of network marketing

I don't dwell on what other people say about him. To me he is he best network marketer today. I joined empowerism, SFI, webprosperity and host4profit on Stone's invitation. His "Dotcomology" is one of the most comprehensive e-book on affiliate marketing.

Stone is born leader so people like to follow his lead and that is why is the leading sponsor in some of the best known network marketing programs like SFI, Empowerism and GDI though I don't like his association with "lawn chair millionaire".

A good long term business & a great way to promote multiple programs

I signed up for a Plug-In Profit Site back in 2004, so at the time of writing this I've had my site for over 5 years. Although it is not my main source of online income it still continues to bring me steady residual income month to month. It was also my introduction to the world of internet marketing and helped me to become a full time work from home marketer within 3 years.

The Plug-In Profit site is not for everyone. If you are not interested in working hard to promote your website or if you are not willing to wait a few months to start seeing an income, then you probably want to keep looking.

The positive aspects of the Plug-In Profit Site include

- the site is up and running within 24 hours

- you can easily promote multiple residual income programs with a single link

- you receive a pre-written follow up email series in an autoresponder

- they have a free support forum and training

- very responsive dedicated support person

Negative aspects include:

- all sites are the same and you really need to make some changes to your site if you want to stand out, get search engine traffic and make money from PIPS. This can be difficult if you don't know HTML or how to use a web page editor

- training recommends some expensive advertising which I and others have personally tried & tested and it doesn't work

- high drop out rate (I imagine partly due to the above)

Overall, I give the Plug-In Profit site a "B" rating and I highly recommend it. Better training and a more flexible site that is easy to change for newbies would raise my rating to an "A".

Stone Evans is a great internet marketer in my opinion

I signed up for Plug-in Profit 4 months ago. There is a lot of work involved in order to be successful, but it is possible with this business. When I signed up, I sent questions to Stone's autoresponder email and never received a response. However, if you send them to the help desk, there is no problem. I have tried lots of opportunities before, and this is by far the most promising I have tried. Stone gives you as much information as possible to help you start your business and be successful in it as well.

There is money involved, but like what most others have said about this, it is completely optional for the most part of it. And some of the best affiliate programs are free with optional upgrades. If you are first starting out and you don't have a lot of money, my suggestion would be to sign up for the free memberships and build your business up and then upgrade and sign up for the rest when you start getting some traffic to your website.

The guy seems conversationalist until

Like most internet marketers, they are happy to engage in conversation until you start asking questions. They seem less friendly (usually are) and can become quite rude or agitated. Stone is no different except for his age.

I have just joined this program

I have just joined this program and I am waiting for my new website. I had read a lot of reviews on this and they have been mostly good. I really don't understand why people complain about having to pay some fees when starting a new business. If you were starting any other business, you would expect to pay some costs.

I have had previous bricks and mortar businesses and have had to pay thousands out for rent, stock, solicitors fees and so on, before I made a penny.

So get real all you people that whine about having to pay out some money, the amount you need to pay to set up a business online is a pittance compared with most businesses.

I also had a couple of queries, whilst setting this up. I sent my queries to the help desk and they were answered within a couple of hours.

It's up to you to succeed!

I want to make something very clear to whomever is thinking of joining the Plug-in Profit Site, it is up to you to succeed.

Let me first tell you that I do belong to the Plug-in Profit Site and I want to inform you that you can achieve anything if you put your mind to it! If you are serious about making money from the Internet you must be willing to put forth effort to make it happen.

The Plug-in Profit Site is designed to teach you how to build a business from the ground up. And yes, all you need to pay for is the hosting to get started.

When you join, you are required to join Host4Profit - $24.95 and $15 for registering your domain name. Once you do that you will get a website built for you that includes affiliate programs. Yes, some are free to join and some require a fee. You can opt not to upgrade to any of them until you start to build a list and a downline. It's up to you.

During the 30 Days of training Stone does recommend some products that requires some investment to help you achieve results faster, it is up to you to decide if they are within your budget.

The Plug-in Profit Site is designed to teach you to build your own business. It is up to you on how you use the knowledge that is provided.

Therefore, if you are looking for a get rich quick scheme, then the Plug-in Profit Site is not for you! If you want to build a successful business for the long haul then the Plug-in Profit Site may be what you're looking for.

Many of the Internet's top marketers are involved with the Plug-in Profit Site program ...

Ewen Chia, Alan Says, Willie Crawford, Mike Filsaime, Bill Shultz, Patricia Brucoli, Ken Troyer, Jeff Casmer, Suzanne Morrison, Jeff Schuman, Cynthia Minnar, Russell Brunson, Mal Keenan, Jack Humphrey, Jeff Mullins and Michael Glaspie to name a few.

Now, if you think it is a scam, then don't join. You can join something that promises you overnight success and jump from program to program just like the 95% of the people looking to learn HOW to make money on the Internet.

Just remember, whatever you join... it will be up to you to succeed.

Nothing Is "FREE"

The site is free because it is the same site thousands are using and competing directly with you. You still need to pay for hosting, advertising, some affiliate memberships, changes to your site as required, auto responder (beyond a dozen follow up emails) and you will be very lucky to get a response from Stone to any email. Also, if you choose to not become an affiliate to any of the constantly changing "approved" affiliate companies, it will still appear on your "free" site so that if you advertise your site and a visitor joins one of the affiliate organizations via your site that you are not an affiliate for, the earnings go to Stone or someone else you have never spoken to. I could go on and on, but what is the point?

It's not a scam, it's called work

I have been me a member of Plug-in Profits for almost 2 years. It is true that Stone does recommend several other programs that cost additional money he also states in the beginning that you do not need to sign up for every offer. Does he suggest that if you purchase the product you may increase your profit? Of course he does it's called Internet marketing.

You do not need to join every program that he suggests, in fact I only belong to one of them and it is free. Stone offers a 30 day training course that is very useful and a open forum where other members offer their free advise.

Is it hard work? Yes. Will you make millions over night? No. Is it a scam? Absolutely not. Most people just want to skip the hard work part.

CAN'T COLLECT COMMISSIONS

I signed up for this service 5 months ago and went gung-ho and spent all the money and did all the things needed to make a go of this business. I had more than 300 people sign up under me in most of the programs. However, I wasn't able to collect one cent in commissions. I said everything I could think of saying to the support desks at the various programs, but nobody would help me. All they would say was that the Plug-In-Profit program was a separate program. I tried getting support form the Plug-In-Profit help desk but was treated rudely and with complete disrespect. NO HELP THERE EITHER!!! After spending a fortune, I am completely turned OFF by this SCAM! I worked hard 3 hours a day, 5 days a week for 5 months and I have nothing but a depleted bank account to show for it. And a huge feeling of animosity on my part. If you want to keep your money and your sanity, stay way far away from this program!

Not Free At All...

I tried the plugin-profit site, and after the initial signup (which included signing up for a hosting service he recommended (24.99 a month) and registering a hostname (15.99)) He continually asked for me to sign up for more and more services, all of which were NOT free. According to him you don't HAVE to sign up for all the services (except the hosting and registration) but that they'll 'make you earn money faster'...what he does not tell you is the only way to drive traffic to your site is through these said services, which means if you DON'T sign up you get no customers, you make no money.

On the upside their staff was very pleasant when I had questions, but I still consider this a waste of time and money.

My Views On Stone Evans

I joined Stone Evans Plug In Profit Site around 15 months ago and have been so impressed with the level of support and the community that has evolved as a result.

I wrote an open letter to Stone Evans about 10 months ago and now post it here.....my views remain the same.

I would like to tell you about a guy I know, not personally mind, but none the less, a guy I have nothing but admiration and respect for.

Some months ago, I, being close to retirement (5 years from now), suddenly realized I had no where near enough retirement income even with my private pensions. Subconsciously, I began to panic and decided to explore ways of generating an extra income.

I thought about setting my own business up within my present trade (I am an engineer), but this would require a lot of capital and energy, which I have to admit, I have little of these days. In addition, I had previously owned my own business which sadly failed due to a changing market place, so it didn't take me long to rule this option out.

I began searching on the internet for inspiration. The internet as I am sure you know, is rife with "Get rich quick schemes" and trying to make sense of the bombardment of so called opportunities was like trying to find your way out of a maze. I just didn't know which way way to turn.

I had heard of people making fortunes with their www home business as I am sure you have, but I just had no idea where to start.

I had also heard of people getting their fingers burnt and with such a small amount of spare capital, I was not about to let myself be a statistic, so gave up on the idea.

A few weeks later, I again started to think of making an income on line. I had previously bookmarked a few sites that I had liked the look of and decided to try and research these. It was a starting point.

Finally, I decided to try the Plug-In-Profit-Site, I had read about Stone Evans during my research, some good and some bad reviews. But then so had all the others I researched and the Plug-In-Profit-Site (PIPS) had the smallest risk attached.

It wasn't long after joining and although I hadn't yet made any money, that I was convinced I had done the right thing. You see, apart from the Free tailor made PIPS web site and the 30 day to success tutorial there were bonuses attached which included a free membership to the acclaimed Warrior Forum- the PIPS support forum. Within the forum, you get an absolutely fantastic level of support and advice from fellow PIPS members and you even rub shoulders with the very people introduced on the PIPS sales page testimonials! This alone spoke volumes to me.....these are real people...people such as Jeff Casmer, Mal Keenan, Patricia Brucoli, and Suzanne Morrison - these are the very people that would not just support me, but help me be as successful as they are. Occasionally, the Guru himself Stone Evans drops in.

I am a realist and as such, do not expect to become rich overnight. I am in it for the long haul and with the training and support of my mentors and indeed the PIPS family, I will succeed in my goal.

The reason I admire Stone Evans so much, is that He has enabled complete novices such as myself an opportunity to be financially independent by following in his footsteps. Added to this, the untold benefits, which I doubt even Stone Evans himself could ever have envisaged:-

The PIPS family - a community spirit like none I have experienced before, where everyone is keen to see everyone else succeed without financial gain for themselves.

Unselfish advice and constructive critisms.

Above all, the HONESTY within PIPS.

Thank you Stone Evans......for unwittingly, creating the Pips FAMILY

To Your Continued Success with the Plug-In-Profit-Site

Let's Be Honest

Would just like to set the record straight. There are number of blatantly false statements made above. It is not a matter of opinion but the truth vs. libel.

I have 5 years direct experience with this program and I can prove everything I say, whereas I don’t know where the people above get their ideas, which are patently untrue for the most part.

The majority of people who are unhappy with a program are upset when they realize that there is always going to be work involved in any business; and that wealth does not come magically overnight for anyone. Succeeding with ANY business takes consistent time and effort.

PlugInProfitSite is a free program. Stone Evans will build you a free, fully customizable website, provide free online training and a member support forum accessible 24 hours per day. In addition to this he has a helpdesk 6 days a week.

Yet, people will send a few emails in response to an autoresponder message, and then say you are a scammer because they can’t understand that someone with thousands of names on their list cannot possibly respond to thousands of individual emails.

THE ONLY REQUIREMENT to be a PIPS Owner/Member, is that you pay for your own hosting for your site. There is NO REQUIREMENT to buy your domain name from the required host - never has been. Merely point the domain nameservers from your registrar to the host. *free

The majority of the SUGGESTED affiliate programs in the core are free to join, and there is never a requirement to upgrade. The ones that are not free to join are OPTIONAL. Everything that Stone Evans recommends is OPTIONAL.

The majority of whiners quit before they even give it a chance. They do not want to invest the time or energy to start a business. That’s fine - it’s not for everybody. No program works unless we do.

Remember, everybody is in business to make money. There is no crime in it if it is done honestly. At the same time if you are afraid to spend a few dollars and your time and energy to start a business, then what you need a is a J-O-B. Don't blame the program.

I also received many emails a day from stone evans and even joined his program. I was never able to contact him. There were many questions about his program that he was vague about. When he didn't answer any of my inquiries I figured he was a scam artist.

Watched this site a long time

I have received Stone's emails for many months and everyone else that is promoting his site in some form or manner. It sounds very good at first and I have actually filled out the registration form to join the site. I usually do this and then think about it for a while to make sure this is worth my time and money.

After checking out further things, I found some things I did not like at all and they are all listed on the internet under his name. I also am so tired of the same old story, which may be true, about being a restaurant worker and having no money. After checking further and thinking more I decided to ask a very simple question to see if he would even answer me. HE NEVER ANSWERED ME AT ALL AND NEVER ACKNOWLEDGED GETTING MY EMAIL. After being on his email member list for about a year, I got nothing back from this man.

I asked the question again - he says right on his emails that he will answer and there is a contact number. I just happen to live very close to the address he gives as his business address. I even got the nerve up to ask if I could drop by for a visit if he would not answer me, STILL NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. I still get probably 4 emails a day from him but no answers to any thing I have tried to ask. This was my own experiment because I have been on many sites and paid money for help and could not get any help at all after all the advertising.

I THINK HE SOUNDS GOOD AND HE TALKS A GOOD TALK, BUT IS NOT THE PERSON HE CLAIMS TO BE OR HE WOULD HAVE SEEN THAT I WAS SERIOUS ABOUT SENDING HIM ALL THE MONEY HE REQUESTED, WHICH ADDS UP TO A GOOD SUM TO START. HE DOES NOT EVEN GO INTO DETAIL ABOUT ALL THE OTHER COSTS YOU WILL HAVE, BUT I AM NO DUMMY AND I KNOW THERE WILL BE MANY OTHER COSTS ALONG THE WAY.

WHAT A SHAME HE DOES BUSINESS SO CLOSE TO ME AND CANNOT EVEN ANSWER A QUESTION - ONE OF SEVERAL I SENT TO HIM.

IS ANYONE ELSE TIRED OF SEEING THE SAME OLD TESTIMONALS WITH THE SAME FACES THAT LOOK HIGH OR NEED SHAVES??? ALSO WHAT ABOUT ALL THE RED SPORTS CARS, BOATS AND HOMES - SOME OF THEM ARE EXACTLY LIKE THE OTHER GURUS'. TAKE A LOOK SOMETIME AND YOU WILL SEE THIS.

I hate to knock someone, but I just do not trust anyone who will not answer any questions at all. I also hate to see people taken in by all the testimonals that are usually just a favor to someone and probably not true. Why don't some of these people buy another car or boat or home instead of the same one? I would rather have one good testimonal with a nice looking man or woman or couple who looks professional instead of all these people who look as if as I say they are high or just have no sleep and do not care how they look. Why do other people not realize that any amount of money can be put up as earnings and actually not be true. On the internet, it is a sad situation, but you really do not ever know who you are dealing with. If all these people are so wealthy, why are they still selling you this stuff at such high prices - to me (and I am very well educated on how to handle money) they have not handled their money very well or they would not need to do this at all.

I have also been told by one of the people I bought a program from that you should have a tear jerking story to appeal to people and show them how you came to the top. I am honest and believe there are really ways to make money on the internet without having to do these tricks and untruths.
