Affiliate Project X Description

In October 2006, Internet marketer Chris McNeeney, who is from the UK, released the electronic book ‘Affiliate Project X.’ As the title implies, the book discusses affiliate marketing with more depth and insight. To many online marketers, this type of marketing is still the best there is because through affiliate marketing, they do not need to create their own products, setup customer service networks or keep inventories. There is logically greater income selling others’ products and getting hefty commissions from doing so.

Like its predecessor from the same author, ‘AdWords Miracle,’ Affiliate Project X is aimed at helping Internet marketers understand more the concepts and dynamics of online marketing, particularly affiliate marketing. But like most other books, Affiliate Project X is subject to different reactions and reviews. Many are raving and are praising its being an effective marketing e-book. But some are also raising disappointments about how it failed to deliver its intents.
Affiliate Project X Detailed Overview

First, many readers were disappointed to learn that most information and insights were already mentioned and discussed in AdWords Miracle, which has come as a total marketing piece almost everyone in the Internet is raving about. Many observers note that just like in movies, sequels really do not come as effective as the initial release. Many reviewers are quick to assert that somehow, Affiliate Project X failed miserably in attaining its goals.

Second, several of the affiliate marketing techniques like offering of refunds and bonuses are actually violating Clickbank affiliates’ terms of services. Some readers even think some of the techniques are illegitimate and are dishonest. They think a few of the ideas in Affiliate Project X are deceptive techniques in generating sales and are side-stepping terms of agreements. However, some followers of the book assert that such ‘deceptive techniques’ would soon emerge as standard and basic practices online and that the book is just being a visionary in preparing marketers for what would predictably come ahead.

One specific source of disappointment is the section about link cloaking. Reviewers even highlight Chris McNeeney’s efforts to alter and modify the section periodically. To critics, the link cloaking section is a total let down. They say the author should have tested the strategy more before including it in the book. Link cloaking, according to most marketers, is not really working, or if it would, maybe it would take some more time before the market braces it.

Clearly, Affiliate Project X indicates how affiliate marketing is a step up from direct linking, which was predominant in the earlier years of the Internet. It also illustrates how Google, as a powerful search engine, has successfully re-engineered the landscape of online marketing and businesses. Like some other e-books, some people have learned so much from Affiliate Project X, while others resent spending several hundreds of dollars buying a copy. In the end, readers are left as to how the e-book could be of best use to them.

Because of the disappointments, many readers are wondering how author Chris McNeeney’s follow-up book ‘Day Job Killer’ would fare.

Affiliate Project X Reputation

Affiliate Project X has not been receiving the positive reviews that one would expect from a Chris McNeeney product. People have been disappointed that the product has been over-hyped and doesn't live up to its expectations. Raving reviews around might have been written by his own affiliates wanting to sell this system to an unsuspecting reader. Most of the information contained in the eBook can easily be found elsewhere on the internet.

The Pitch Is Great But

I have been moved by the great sales pitch on the main site of this product and so I go on buying it. When I read the whole guide, it doesn't give much important details on affiliate marketing as a whole. There are many affiliate marketing forums and blogs where the information in this ebook is written and you can freely access it everyday.

When I finished reading the book, I can't see why it is priced that high. I think for beginners which have no idea what affiliate marketing is, it is great information but for average and seasoned affiliate marketers, it is a waste of time and money.

Overall, as an average marketer with quiet a bunch of knowledge in affiliate marketing, this product is useless.

Great product for the affiliate marketers

I don't know what others are saying about the "Affiliate Project X" but I really love this product. Chris has been very frank in the illustration of his techniques. Though some people may frown upon them, techniques like rebate offering and link masking really work and Chris has described these techniques in such an easy to understand fashion that even a newbie can easily follow them.

I have been able to generate at least an extra $500 per month with the guidance of "Affiliate Project X".

If you are a newbie and looking for a course to learn affiliate marketing then this course is certainly made for you.

Ebook filled with really good tips

It is really one of the greatest books written on affiliate marketing. Almost everything is told in step by step manner. People new to affiliate marketing will find it very useful. It contains all the usual stuff like link cloaking, buyer's psychology etc. People already familiar with affiliate marketing will also find it very useful. But there are steps given in it, which can be considered Grayhat methods, so it’s better to check guidelines of affiliate network you are working with. But overall it is really good information product and you will learn a lot about Affiliate Marketing.

A great package!

At $97 you would be forgiven for thinking that this product is quite pricey, but if you read the landing page, it's obvious that this marketer knows their stuff and you can see just how much you will be getting for your money.

I purchased this Project X 5 months ago, after finding a glowing review for it. I just couldn't resist.

The information given is really solid and has been so useful for me. I made about $400 - $600 monthly on top of my normal earnings since I purchased Project X, so it does work and there's the proof.

I recommend this product to both newbies and experienced marketers alike. There's such a variety of information that there's bound to be something in there of use to you. Although it's pricey, it's definitely a worthwhile investment.
