Article Submitter Platinum Description

Article Submitter Platinum is a software program created by internet marketer and software developer Brad Callen that automates the process of submitting articles to directories. This software program allows you to submit your articles to several directories at once, saving you the time and the repetition that it takes to do it manually.

Article Submitter Platinum Detailed Overview

Brad Callen and his company Bryxen Software, Inc. have already created and marketed two previous article submitter versions; Article Submitter and Article Submitter Gold. Article Submitter Platinum is their latest version of the program, and according to Callen, it blows the others right out of the water.

The other article submitter programs that they designed were good. You could use them to list all of the article directories that you submit your articles to. When you are ready to submit an article, you would go through the list, click on each one, your information would be populated into that specific directory, and then you’d publish and go on to the next one. This saved a lot of time, but Article Submitter Platinum cuts that saved time significantly more.

With Article Submitter Platinum, you list the directories that you publish to. When you’re ready to publish an article, you simply click on the programs in the list that you want to publish to, and that’s it. The program goes through each directory on its own, fills in the required information, and then sends to them all at once.

Article Submitter Platinum is a big improvement over its predecessors, but the biggest complaints are being heard from those who bought the previous programs. At $167, slated to go up to $197 soon, this program is not cheap, and many people who bought the previous programs feel that they should at least get an upgrade price, and not have to buy a whole new program.

Article Submitter Platinum Reputation

Feedback on the Article Submitter Platinum software program is good. People are saying that it works the way it is supposed to, with only one or two glitches every now and then. There are the complaints from owners of the predecessor programs, but charging full price for a new version of a program is not unheard of. Overall, reports are that this program really does save you a lot of time.

Probably Was Once Worth It

I bought this program with high hopes for getting articles submitted quickly and easily. I installed it, and it looks great. There were at least 400 directories in the internal database in the product, so I was pretty excited.

Then the problems started. Hmmm, there seem to be an awfully lot of expired domains in the database... and lots of just plain broken links... wow, a LOT of them! I wasted several hours wading through just some of the websites in the directories, finding 75% of them no good.

No problem, because there's a button to "Update DB" (update the internal database of directories). I clicked it, and a promising little box popped up... Connecting to site... downloading database... successful download... ERROR writing file.

OK, so now I can't update the database it comes with, and I also found out I cannot add my own (a SERIOUS limitation). But you can delete directories, and report the broken links to the company.

Now it was time for tech support. How come the Update DB button was broken? Why were so many directories bad? I submitted 2 support tickets on the above issues and waited... got an automatic response and ticket number for both issues, but did not get a resolution.

I logged back into the system and found they had closed both tickets, without notifying me, and without resolving anything! Then I started to get nervous. So I trolled through their own forums and found a woman who had the same problem as me, only out of the 400 websites, only had 46 usable sites. Another guy kept getting a monthly charge for an SEO site every month and couldn't cancel.

So I quickly contacted ClickBank and logged a complaint requesting a refund, as well as through PayPal. I also generated one more support ticket requesting a refund, and within 24 hours a refund was being issued through ClickBank.

I wasted a LOT of time with this program, and I would NOT recommend it to anyone. Plus the difficulty with contacting them with my complaints, and the fact that there is NO PHONE NUMBER had me smelling something foul. Buy at your own risk.

Wish it was faster

I manually submitted a lot of articles to Go Articles and Ezines and it usually took me about 3 hours to 4 hours daily to submit all of my articles. It was like an annoying and tiring daily routine that I had to do in order to make money so I had no option. I knew of article submitters but I didn’t really trust them much until the day I decided to use one because I wanted to move onto bigger projects so I bought Article Submitter Platinum. I submit many articles every single day with Article Submitter Platinum and I have no complaints about it so far. I do wish that it was updated more frequently instead of like every 3 months. Also I wish that it would be a little faster and less buggy, but besides that it gets the job done.

The Truth Hurts

Good.. Not the best

Article Submitter Platinum is a good software, not the best but it is good. All that I really care about is that it gets the job done and nothing else matters. It submits an article for me every two minutes which is extremely fast in my opinion. The only flaw that is has is that it is not updated frequently and that it does not submit to too many directories. I only submit to Go Articles, Ezine, and Amazines which are included in Article Submitter Platinum but I wish there were more directories. Also I can’t add any directories myself but I wish it had this option to do so.

Always got stuck

Article Submitter Platinum is a waste of money in my honest opinion, and I say this with a lot of submitter bot experience. First of all it is not automated and it keeps getting stuck. I would even say it is very buggy. Out of 10 articles, ASP would submit 3 or 4 and the ones that it didn’t submit were just simply skipped. Also when it got stuck I had to close the entire software down and reopen it again, sometimes it wouldn’t even reopen without me restarting my pc. I believe that Article Submitter Platinum is a waste of money and time so don’t even bother and just submit your articles manually.

Don't buy this

This program is supposed to submit your articles automatically but it’s far from it. And most of the directories this program submits to don’t even work, and you can’t add new ones yourself, they have to update the program itself if you want more directories to submit to! It is supposed to make your submitting faster, but it is faster and less of a hassle to do it manually.

I gave up on this program and it seems like the creator has done the same. I have received no updates or customer service as long as I have owned the product. I don’t recommend anyone buying it.

This program has a lot of enhancing to do

Article Submitter was a waste of time for me. I got absolutely no where. Well I can't say no where because a few of my articles did get submitted to a few directories, that I can say. But Article Submitter didn't help me meet my goals.

The Interface is a total mess and very confusing to understand. The database is out dated and I also noticed that most of the directories didn't even exist anymore. Not only didn't they exist, but most of the main directories I was looking to submit articles to weren't even on the list!

I was extremely disappointed to the point where I tried talking with customer service a few times, but had a hard time keep communication up. Come to find out I was stuck with Article Submitter because there is no money back guarantee. I don't even think that the few articles that I did get submitted actually went through to be honest with you. The idea of Article Submitter is great, they just really need to think about working on the program as a whole. A better interface, easier navigation and up to date directories will make me a happier customer.

Maybe this product was good in 2007 but it sure isn't now!

Oh dear, where to begin!

Of the 600 article directories on this program, roughly half are now shut down, turned into pages of adverts prior to being sold or hacked to pieces. Of the remaining 300 odd, I managed to get successful submissions to a grand total of 46. I am very computer literate and I have viewed and reviewed all the instructions and training video (which is for an out-of-date version of the product!) and there is nothing to help me resolve the problems.

There are three buttons on the software that supposedly communicate with the support staff behind the product: "report broken link" "suggest a directory" and "update database". I have wasted several hours innocently reporting broken links and suggesting directories that are relevant to my niche (it is worth pointing out that there are probably only about 10 niche specific directories in the database). Now, whenever I press the "update database" button, I get an identical message claiming that data has been downloaded, while my database changes not one bit - all the broken links remain, none of the suggested directories appear.

The biggest flaw with this product is that there is no way of adding a directory to it. Let's imagine that you are in the gardening business. You do a Google search for "gardening article directories". Several of the article directories in the results will be totally garden specific - surely you want my article in those ones first? Well, article submitter platinum won't help you one little bit.

I strongly suggest that you avoid this out-of-date, essential feature lacking product. You will just waste several hours and ultimately fail to submit to more than a few directories. Oh, and of the top 10 directories that appear when you do a Google search for "article directory", I think only 3 are in this product's list. Boo.

P.S. The most annoying thing for me is that I bought this product on the recommendation of Justin Brooke of sitefling fame, who usually gives great advice about all sorts of web marketing / SEO stuff. My theory is that he was seduced by a fat affiliate deal - I find it hard to believe that he really does use it in his business.
