Carbonite Description

Carbonite is a membership website that allows its users to easily backup their computer systems automatically. If you are a person who keeps information and personal items (such as pictures and videos) on your computer then you know how devastating it would be if your computer crashed and you lost all of those items. Carbonite has been designed so that you will never feel that loss.

Carbonite Detailed Overview

With Carbonite you will have secure and automated online backup so that you can be assured that you never lose information or other items that are important to you. There are two different plans available - Home & Home Office and Small Business. The Home & Home Office plan has been designed for individuals and families as well as home businesses that have only one or two employees. This plan starts at $59 per year for each computer that will be using the backup solution and there is a 15 day free trial available. The Small Business plan has been designed for businesses that have 3 or more computers and this plan starts at $229 per year - flat rate. They are offering a 30 day free trial with this plan. These free trials are a great way to try out all the features with absolutely no obligation on your part.

Carbonite is extremely simple to use - all you do is install Carbonite and let it get to work. After your initial backup it will run continuously in the background and should have absolutely no impact on your computer usage. If you should have a problem with your computer you will be able to access your files from any internet connection - whether it is your new computer or your cellphone. You will then be shown (in a step by step fashion) how to go about restoring all of the files that you have lost. And, unlike most backup programs that only back up on a set schedule, you will never lose anything with Carbonite because the backups are done on a continuous basis. And, all of your files are fully encrypted so that you can be assured that they are safe and secure.
