Google Assassin Description

Google Assassin is a suite of tools designed for webmasters and internet marketers. The author is Chris McNeeny who also brought DayJob Killer, another marketing application, to any individual interested in making money online. The Google Assassin Program is a membership to an affiliates web site and suite of four software programs.

Google Assassin Detailed Overview

Google Assassin has quite a few reviews spread across the world wide web. This author found that most were paid reviews or affiliates interested in driving sales. Every positive review included affiliate links and salesman type dialogue.

Reviews by people who have actually purchased the product were more helpful in determining the actual worth of Google Assassin. Some reviewers are writing angry reviews and calling the product a scam. Chris McNeeny had been praised by the exact reviewers that are tearing apart Google Assassin for his first two products, Adwords Miracle and DayJob Killer.

The Google Assassin program includes a membership to a website, Affiliate's Den Reviwers have mentioned that this website is not new, but purchased from another internet marketer, Andrew Fox. The web site at the time of that review had out of date tools for a forum. Affiliate's Den was a part of Fox's internet marketing program.

The four tools mentioned are:

  • The Daddy Keyword Extractor: This program is a keyword extractor that should find and extract the volume of advertisers, along with their profitable keywords. It is important to report that customers have noted a high return of spam like keywords. Several have reported inputting one keyword only to have returns that are totally unrelated to their search.
  • Adwords Micro Nicher: Reported as useable, finds content pages in organic searches. Two customers report that the tool seems 'buggy' to them. All write that the manual searching is just as easy as using the Adwords Micro Nicher.
  • Campaign Kidnap Tool: Finds a competitors ads and keywords, then displays them. Stated by many to be the only good tool in the program, also pointed out by the same reviewers that the program does not report if a 'kidnapped' campaign is actually profitable.
  • Article Spotter: Spots articles used by marketing by competitors. Not reported to be any more useful than a manual search.

Google Assassin Reputation

In a nutshell, not one review by a customer that was not a paid ad or affiliate recommends Google Assassin. All write that they are very disappointed and go so far as to call the program a scam from their experience. One review states that Chris McNeely has become greedy and released a product solely to line his pocket, unlike his previous products. The customers all prefer his previous work over Google Assassin.

Opportunities but no payout

With Google Assassin you receive four tools all of which I have experienced problems with.

The article spotter is the only tool that I have had success with but it doesn't do much more than any search engine such as Google which scratches it off as very helpful.

With Campaign kidnap it can find you some useful information about competitors and I could definitely see being helpful but if you do not have everything planned out beforehand it is just useless information.

Overall Google Assassin grants you exactly what it says it will which is these four tools, however these tools prove to be less than sufficient in aiding you in any way and thus Google assassin does not come out as an effective way to make money.

Google Assassin

I hesitated at writing another lukewarm-at-best review of this product but there's an aspect or two I found praiseworthy. The main thing that can be wrong with this is the price. Not the purchase price as such but the recurring billing price.

Many marketers must have rubbed their hands with glee as Clickbank introduced recurring billing. It would have been worth it for me to maintain my association with this product if the monthly billing fees had been a third of what they were.

Use of the Affiliate's Den software for PPC ads included link-cloaking. A big plus for me, as I wonder even now whether or not I was cheated out of this area by my links being hi-jacked. (I never mastered any economically-priced link-cloaking). Also I started making sales and some money from sales in the Tattoo niche which I never otherwise did and one other.

When the vendor spoke of the keyword tool being the best out there, that seemed like hype taken too far. And there was one point in his walk-through video, showing how things were done, when the product picked wasn't well explained. If you're really trying to get to grips with just how to fish, you could do with clearer explanation (Of exactly why Chris picked Joanna World of Warcraft in his example). Also when I asked a question on something, it was like the person replying was very very tired, or didn't understand the software/the question...

In summary, if you find yourself landed with this somehow, it would only be worth it possibly if the continual billing charges were less.

Sorry, but I just know there are better products out there for being successful with PPC.

Great tool, bad support

I was looking for a keyword extractor, and someone recommended me Google Assassin, so I decided to try it out. Since it was really cheap, I thought "what can I lose?". After I bought it, I had a few problems...

First of all, the installation... I couldn't install it to my computer, because it doesn't support 64 bit operation systems. So I had to reinstall my whole computer which took me almost one day.

After I installed it, got some kind of error, so I sent them an e-mail. They replied back FIVE days later! So their support is quite bad.

After I got the program to work and had the opportunity to try it out, I was surprised because it looks so simple, but it's very effective! The program provided me a long list of the most useful keywords which helped me to get more visitors to my website.

Well, finally what can I say... the application is good, but the support is really bad, but I still recommend you to try it out, because it helped me a lot.

Useful tools, no support

I was interested in the bundle of software and guides that Google Assassin offers, so I decided to sign up for it. Once I had access to the members page I could download all the software, there weren't any guides on the site at the time, just 'Coming soon'.

I tried out all the software but I had issues with installing some of them, there aren't any manuals included so I had to find out the problem myself. The ones that I could install worked well, but configuring was pretty hard to do. Overall I found that there's a lack of cohesion between the tools, like they were taken from different sites and thrown together in a package.

I sent an e-mail asking for support about my installation problems, but I only received a generic reply to thank me for my feedback, or at least it looked like one, never received anything else afterward.

After spending some time with all the things, I can't help but say that the only thing that this membership offers is software grabbed/bought from different locations, but without any support for them. I don't recommend signing up as you could probably find the same tools from their original authors somewhere else.
