Hot Item Finder Description

Hot Item Finder is a software program created by David Guindon, an Internet marketer that specializes in developing software programs to help people with their Internet business. The software Hot Item Finder was created for people who are using eBay as a marketing channel. The purpose of this program is to cut down research time and help you find what products are hot sellers on eBay.

Hot Item Finder Detailed Overview

Everyone knows that having a hot selling item is one of the most aspects of selling on eBay. Most people have trouble getting their eBay promotions or business set up because they get stuck on choosing products to sell. Others get started only to find out that they invested in products the eBay market isn’t interested in, losing a hundreds, even thousands of dollars (which is not pocket change for the everyday person).

Hot item finder aims to help you find products that are hot sellers so you don’t have to waste your investment capital and you can get started right away. Experienced eBay marketers will also benefit by finding extra products they can add to their product line and backend sales.

The program is very easy to use and runs quick without any problems. This is important because some programs I’ve bought over the years were developed without the user experience in mind. One particular one I bought had features that were tedious to use and had problems loading results.

Hot Item Finder’s functionality on the other hand is very straightforward. All you have to do is locate the category ID on eBay (such as electronics) then enter it in the Hot Item Finder search box and extract the results. The fact that you can filter completed listings only that have sold makes certain that the software finds products that are proven sellers. Within a minute of searching, I had a list of over 200 items with over 10 bids. You can quickly view the auction with a link.

You can also get the hit count of each auction to see which ones were visited the most if you want an idea of which products are getting searched for more. Also if you already have an existing niche market you are selling in, you can use the keyword search to find hot sellers within your market. For example, enter the keyword “guitar” and you can generate a list of auctions that have tons of bids with the title guitar. Even if you’re not selling on eBay, you can use this market research data to find great products, locate vendors, and launch an e-commerce or affiliate campaign with PPC/SEO.

One function that is really won me over is the fact that you can extract data from four different sources – ebay.com, ebay.co.uk, ebay.ca, and ebay.au. Why is this important? I never knew the importance of this myself until I learned that one marketer had found great sellers in one eBay site and started selling it on another eBay site. For example, if a Canon printer is a good seller on ebay.com but has stiff competition, you may try selling it on ebay.au.

I took a sigh of relief when I found out that the program was Vista capable. Over the last few years, some of the software programs I had bought for my Internet business could not be used on my newer computers because of the fact that it ran on Windows Vista. So I had to go switch back to my old slower computer with Windows XP whenever I needed to use the programs, which is not efficient.

The only bad thing about Hot Item Finder is that it’s not Mac incapable. I can’t complain because I use a PC, but at this day and age where Macs are very popular, I think developers should take the responsibility to have their software run on Macs.

Hot Item Finder Reputation

In final, Hot Item Finder is really helpful software to get your eBay started. I like the fact that it’s a straightforward software and easy to use. It is versatile because it helps the beginner sort through many categories to brainstorm ideas as well as experts with the keyword function that can help locate products in their market.

The program comes with full instructional videos and lifetime upgrades. This means you’re not left in the dark when eBay makes an update to their site and if you need somebody to show you how to use the program. It also comes with a 365-day money back which almost nobody offers. David is confident about his product and rightfully so because this is a very valuable program that you’ll be using for a very long time.

Grade D for Support Issues - Haven't Tried Software Yet

I have been interested in this software as a user and as an affiliate so I signed up at ProductPay and filled out all the forms and requested to be an affiliate of the software. My intention was to get a copy of the software for use and review after becoming approved but time kept going on with no reply so I tried to contact ProductPay support and have yet to hear back from them! Dave Guindon (the product creator) has several websites he operates but none of them have any contact info... Dave seems to be operating in "Stealth Mode"! I even looked up his Twitter account which seems automated with sales pitches and sent him a tweet asking to be an affiliate for the software and have heard nothing back. It sounds good and I had some good ideas for promoting this software and I tried hard to become an affiliate but since I can't contact the product creator or even the Affiliate network promoting it, I wouldn't buy it and I sure wouldn't try to sell it to someone else.

Hot Item Finder ebay account denied

Hi I used this program and no matter what I tried it would not connect to my ebay account, I kept getting the error that triniallan has been having.

I also found that for their normal search without the logging in would glean the same results if you did a little thorough searching yourself on ebay's actual site.

On a positive note, I emailed saying that I was not happy with the software and I have had a full refund within hours of this. So top notch for a quick response on support.

It may have been useful, but not being able to synchronize with my ebay account, I never really found out if it was.

Not Working... NO SUPPORT

I payed $77 for option 2 and I got this to work once. The problem occurs when I try to search completed listings. It continuously asks me to log into my Ebay account even though I logged in.

I have contacted their customer support email numerous times with no response.

I am considering filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and with Consumer Affairs in order to get my money back. Unless I get my money back, I would consider this a SCAM ! I will update this post if I can.

Hot Item Finder - Good when it works

Bought this software and could not get it to work from the start, contacted the helpdesk and did not get a reply. I then went to their forum and managed to get it working. It worked fine till they brought out an upgrade which was supposed to resolve an issue with the searches not bringing out any results. Guess what? I upgraded and I could not get any results from my searches, nothing has been done by the support team to resolve this, going on two weeks now.

This has gone down the same route as lots of software releases, so much hype but when it gets down to reliability and support they are found lacking. It is useful when it works, but the support and maintenance is lacking.

Hot Item Finder is simply amazing

This product worked wonders for me. I use E-bay to sell cards(Yu-Gi-Oh cards) which means that I have to search them all individually, but with the help of this product, I didn't have to spend even a quarter of the time looking for the top selling cards. I recommend this product to all collectors who have similar interests to mine, and hopefully all of you will benefit from it. However there is one major downfall to this product, for people who want to sell individual things, such as tables, chairs, fans, etc. It will be nearly impossible to find a matching pair being sold as there are thousands of different types of tables or chairs, and some that don't even have a company name. So to conclude everything I mentioned about this product, I would say that this product was perfect for me, but could be bad for you, it all depends on what you are trying to find with this product.

There are much better similar softwares available at a lower price too

I purchased “Hot Item Finder” for $47 and I daily use the program to identify the hottest selling products. In a matter of minutes, I am provided with the best selling products and I can also identify the best selling products in each category. Although this has been slightly useful, I have had much more success with other advanced keyword research tools on affiliates such as clickbank and these have helped me save time in deciding what products to sell. Luckily, Hot Item Finder comes with a money back guarantee and I was able to get my money back. The best use this software can possibly have is for dropshippers on ebay as they can use this software to sell the best selling products.

Hot Item Finder is a hot item

Hot Item Finder is a quick and easy way to find the top selling categories, keywords and search terms on eBay. The $47 price is a pretty good deal for this well-maintained product.
