Keyword Academy Description

The Keyword Academy is a membership site run by Courtney Tuttle and Mark Butler. The membership site offers training videos, monthly training webinars, monthly live Q&A webinar sessions and a member’s forum. The content in designed to help Internet marketers generate a residual income by building many niche sites using a long tail keyword strategy.

Keyword Academy Detailed Overview

Courtney and Mark have developed a membership site that is really different from the other ones in the market. The goal is to generate a dependable income online using their SEO and site building strategies. The first thing that’s offered by them is the core training program which walks you through their strategy in video format.

The first few videos go straight into their strategy without wasting any time. You’ll learn how to find great niche ideas and do some extensive keyword research. Rather than do some basic keyword research, they actually suggest you should build a huge master keyword list that you amounts to 6 months of keywords you can use.

The next videos teach you how to set up your sites with Wordpress and create content. I found this part of the training very basic, as there is a lot of information out there on how to create sites and content for free. Mark strongly advocates outsourcing your content and using a software program to help create unique articles out of your existing ones.

The most important videos are on link building. I learned some great ways to build links and also got a good refresher on some of the methods I already knew about. Mark says that out of everything, you should be spending most of your time building links. This is definitely something I haven’t heard from any other professional SEOs. Of course, the best way to streamline the whole process is to outsource your link building. I personally think it would be better to outsource link building and concentrate more on site building and research.

I really appreciated the fact that the videos really set you up for success. Each comes with transcriptions, resources, and homework assignments so you make progress as you go through the course. It doesn’t just teach you the material but makes sure you complete each step before you move on to the next phase, all the way to the finish line.

The best part of the membership is the monthly webinars you get. Courtney and Mark run two different types of webinars. One is where they teach you their strategies on a webinar so you can see clear examples of the resources and what they’re doing. The second is the Q&A webinar in which you can ask your most burning questions. The webinar format is a great interactive way to learn and helps you absorb the material faster and take the necessary action steps.

I like that the whole philosophy of The Keyword Academy is to work hard and stay committed. They make it really clear that this takes a lot of work whereas most programs promise you instant results. In fact, they actually suggest that you shouldn’t expect big results until the 6 month mark. This is of course if you only have a few hours a day or on a very limited budget, as I think you can start seeing solid results in 3-4 months.

Keyword Academy Reputation

The Keyword Academy is a solid training program if you want to get into using SEO and site building to build income from contextual programs (like Adsense) and affiliate promotions. I think the webinars are a big benefit, as it feels like a coach is there telling you what to do and helping you get through your stumbling blocks. The membership has received positive reviews despite the fact that it was launched late last year.

You have two choices on how to join. You can get the videos, monthly webinar and monthly Q&A sessions for $29 a month or get access to the forums and the ability to download the webinar recordings for $33. I think the interaction and ability to talk to Courtney and Mark in the forums make the extra $4 worth it. All in all, Courtney and Mark provide their own strategy, so it’s up to you to see if it’s something you want to follow. The first month costs $1, so you can give a try before you’re charged the regular fees.

One of the best

After I joined the keyword academy, I thought it was like other programs that I've wasted my money on. But I discovered I was wrong. Although the main thing that attracted me to the program was the high page rank blogs they had for their members to build backlinks from. But after watching the introductory videos, I discovered that it held more than I imagined.

Simply the Best!

I have tried a lot of products/services in the past. KWA is beyond any doubt, the best investment I have made. The tools alone are unique and worth the cost of admission.

If new to all of this, I don't know what would be a better to lay a solid foundation. These are tried and true methods that simply work.

You have to respect their honesty. In these times of over-hyped tripe that constantly bombards my email box, it is quite refreshing to be told upfront that it will take time and effort before any real earnings will be realized.

I like the step-by-step method of teaching, then applying the lessons. It is so easy to get into information overload and become overwhelmed. It is easy to quickly lose sight of the overall goals if the path is not clearly laid out.

So, if one is experienced and battle-scarred, then the value of the tools offered will be quickly understood. If new, priceless information and detailed steps will help you avoid chasing the next new, shiny program because you will be able to gauge your progress.

BTW: the forum is well worth the extra couple of bucks because those that are sharing their experiences are clearly successful. Their badges will prove it. And in the spirit of Mark and Courtney, they too care a lot and want to see other members succeed.

Very Useful Tools and Information

I tried it out months ago when they had their $1 trial. There was a lot of information to get through but I did it and used their techniques to build a couple of websites but did not continue with the membership. My thinking was to continue to use their strategies and if I started making more than the monthly premium membership fee I would join up again as a fully paying member. I really wanted access to their excellent tools Niche Refinery, Streamline and Post Runner.

My couple of sites ended up earning much more than the membership in about 8 months or so. Not enough to make me quit my day job but enough to pay for membership which I am now doing and there is quite a bit left over. The tools are excellent and really help you stay focused and keep track of your work in a logical and seamless manner. You're never left fumbling around wondering what you're supposed to do next.

Matt, their new ambassador, is a full time employee whose sole purpose is to help new members and he does a good job. I've never had to contact him but he occasionally emails me to see how I'm doing and if I respond he usually responds back in kind with ideas and encouragement.

Post Runner is an excellent tool for getting quality backlinks and if you're looking for reasons to keep paying the monthly subscription then this is it. There are other services which charge $59 a month for doing the same thing as Post Runner and that's without the support, educational materials and other tools.

As a bonus for newbies they will also build and host a Wordpress site for you at no extra charge. This is an excellent way for people who have no idea how to get started to get themselves sorted and up and running. All they need to do is provide the posts and the backlinks.

There are no guarantees other than that if you follow their guidance you will earn money no matter what niche you're in. From my experience this is true. If you set up a website and get enough traffic to it you will eventually be earning money. Their one month trial is now free so you have nothing to lose and a lot of material to learn from.

The Keyword Academy-responding to emails

I almost didn't join because of the comment that emails were not returned. After researching I found that the company offers a free 30-day try. This was the only reason I decided to give it a try. The first thing I did was fire off an email to a guy named Matt who's in charge of new members and I asked him a bunch of questions. Low and behold he responded back to me within a few hours with answers to my questions. So far, I'm impressed.

Quit the Keyword Academy

I joined the free trial and am most grateful. I digested all the videos within 24 hours. I studied the site for a mere week. I feel that it is helpful, especially the teaching on C. P. C. with Ad words. I had never experienced an in depth teacher like that before. I quit because I couldn't not see the benefit of paying $33 a month after that. The one thing I could have stayed on for though is setting up a website using Word Press. Org. That still eludes me.

Frustrating

So far it's been frustrating. Although Court and Mark promise a lot,

even after I joined as a member they never replied to any of my e-mails. I have a few simple questions that they won't answer.

I'm going to stay with it because perhaps I can make money in the future. I just wish there was more communication. Before you sign up they promise a lot. After you sign up, if you want help, you have to get it from other members in the forum. Sure, the other members are helpful, but Mark and Court are just geniuses when it comes to this stuff so they don't seem to be able to relate to newbies

and they don't answer my personal e-mails to them. Not sure what's going on ... it's frustrating at this point.

The tools to help us succeed

I've been a member of the Keyword Academy for about 5 months. The tools they give you for keyword research (NicheRefinery) and backlinks (PostRunner) are excellent and provide a lot of value for $33 per month.

Court and Mark are quick to tell you that this is not a get rich quick scheme and they are correct. Sometimes it takes a year or more to get to start making a "decent" amount of money.

One thing I can say for certain. The site owners care a great deal about their users and work very hard to provide the tools needed to succeed. Overall, I have no problem recommending their service, especially if you are ready to do the work required to be successful.

Great Info!

I am not a newbie anymore in IM, but I just recently joined Keyword Academy (hey, with $1 trial, how could I lose?). The information in the core videos is great, however I think I am going to keep my membership simply for the great tools like the Guest Post Blogging and the Niche Refinery, I've been using these almost daily!

Actually I liked this one

I joined Court's membership program with a $1 intro (I think it was for a month or so). Prior to this the core videos and pdf files could be bought for quite a high fee which I could not afford. So I was glad that I could access them with my $1 trial membership. It took me only a few days to watch all the videos, read all the guides and I have to say I've learned quite a bit from it all. There are some videos in there explaining about avoiding getting your sites banned from Google and getting that Google love, and that for me was already extremely useful, on how to get traffic to your blog and of course how to set up your blog.

To be honest the only reason I didn't stay in the 'club' is because I found it a bit expensive just to use the forum. The core material is available for anyone for the trial period and maybe that's a mistake. If it were a drip feed style membership, maybe I'd have stuck around to get my new material fix for the next month.

If the $1 trial period is still available, I urge you to try it out, you'll learn tons of useful info. Court is a serious IM guy and he doesn't present crap.

A Great Start for SEO Newbies

I've only just started with the program and, so far, I have already found it useful. I still have a few videos to watch and as per the last comment, you definitely need patience (and time). However, I can already see the benefits. I like the strategy, and I particularly like the way the explanations are simple enough for even an SEO newbie to understand. The system seems to deliver on realistic promises made.

Broken down really well and easy to understand

I found the product really helpful. I hadn't really had any knowledge of SEO related writing before, so it was nice that the program really broke it down for me. It does take a lot of time, not going to lie there, but since there is plenty of instruction, follow-up homework, and such, it really does cover all the topics well and reinforces them. I'm still learning, and it's an on-going process, but it was nice to get a program that got me off to a good start and guided me through all I had to learn and take-in.

Great Program!

I purchased this program and it has a lot of great information. Many people have quit because they didn't want to take the time to read through the information. I took the time to read it and have found it to be quite useful. This training program has easy to follow structure. They also give you step by step tutorials on how to implement their methods and begin to earn money. A great place to start if you're just beginning your online money making journey.

Patience is required

I came to know about this site from an online advertisement. The advertisement was catchy enough to bring me to this one. I tried to learn about this and also tried to find out if this is going to be useful to me. Actually, I already knew some SEO techniques and was not really sure if I should try this out (The fees are not too nominal). Suddenly, I saw that for the first month it costs only 1$, so I thought I can afford that and let me try this. Well, it was like coming back to school. The thing I like most about this program is that they do not make impossible claims. We all know that SEO cannot be learnt very easily, and time is required. We should at least keep our patience for 6 months and then we shall see the difference for sure. I also loved the homework that they give us. Those were really interesting, and it helped me to improve my SEO skills. This is a must do for newbies if they want to learn SEO techniques properly. Remember one thing. Always keep patience while going through this program.
