MyLinkGuard is a free service by Internet marketer Richard Legg. The site offers you a way to protect your affiliate links from commission theft. The MyLinkGuard tool generates links that also results in more clicks when you test it head to head against a regular affiliate link. These links are cleaner and carry more trust to visitors.
MyLinkGuard Detailed Overview

A big problem in the Internet marketing industry is affiliate commission thefts. Affiliate marketers are constantly cheated out of their rightful commissions when smart consumers or those who know about Internet marketing replace their affiliate IDs with their own.

Sometimes the problem is that people will see that it’s an affiliate ID and just type in the domain URL directly to check out a site. What also happens is that people are suspicious and stay away from long links with multiple characters and numbers. With spyware, adware, and viruses on the net, nobody wants to put their computer at risk of infection.

MyLinkGuard is a free program that solves all these problems. You can send your prospects and customers clean links that are enticing to click. The program is really easy to use. All you have to do is create a folder named “recommends” or “presents” and another folder inside it to remember what the link is for (for example: seocourse).

Simply open the program then enter your uncloaked affiliate link. After you click next, you can save the HTML file into the folder you created which would be seocourse. Now you can upload the whole recommends or presents folder. When you send visitors a link your link will look something like this:

http://www.domain.com/recommends/seocourse

As you can see, these links are more clickable than the ones with multiple characters and numbers. They also convey authority, and trust as it is a clean link with the word recommends. MyLinkGuard is free, and you can use the software as long as you want on as many links as you want (you can use it from your desktop).

When you do join the service, you are presented with a couple of one time offers. By promoting the MyLinkGuard tool to other people you can earn 50% of all the one time offer sales. You become an affiliate right after you join the site which is pretty much Mike Filsaime’s butterfly marketing model.

In conclusion, MyLinkGuard is a really effective tool to help boost your affiliate sales and protect your links from affiliate hijacking. The tool is very easy to use and you can get it up and running in less than 5 minutes. I think the tool is also a great product to promote as it is free and a value to Internet marketers.

Mylinkguard information

I have had a fairly good experience with MyLinkGuard. It is a really effective tool to help boost your affiliate sales. It does a pretty good job at protecting your links from affiliate hijacking. It very easy to use and you can get it up and running pretty quickly. It is also a fairly easy product to promote.

Your Link Guard

Not a bad product for first time users. Personally, I would recommend the product to a friend. Mylinkguard.com expresses true and vital information for beginners and professionals. I would not say that this tool helped generate nine times more the money on a website I promoted, but more like 5 times which was not bad.

Great for cleaning up URLS

The webpage urls on my business’s site were unorganized and unappealing causing potential clients to be turned away from clicking links the my site. This program requires very little computer knowledge, and allows you to organize your site's pages in a way that makes the url appealing and more trusting to click. MyLinkGuard is especially useful when using programs to create websites because most of them will give of ugly, faking looking urls. This causes people who see your link to think that they could be affiliated ad/spy ware. MLG has eliminated this in a convenient way, and I would recommend it to anyone with this problem.

Great Protection For My Affiliates

MyLinkGuard is an outstanding product that offers you great protection for your affiliate and it will help you increase your hits on your affiliate. MyLinkGuard allows you to basically cover up or hide your true URL. So if some scamming business wants to come and steal your affiliate you can fool them and hide the TRUE URL. It also helps you attract more hits by letting you change what the URL says, no buyer wants to see the same old link that is boring and dull like how my links use to look, but after I got MyLinkGuard I was able to edit the link and it attracted more viewers surprisingly. Overall, MyLinkGuard has helped me get many more hits on my links and sales for my business. So I'd give it a B+.

It is Free so why not try it

Link Guard is free and the most valuable thing for my affiliate links. Very often people do steal your links and then cash out with the money that you have earned. Link Guard prevents that from happening, which makes is extremely valuable. The other positive thing about Link Guard is that it does hide your affiliate id. This in my opinion makes your URL look more professional, and people can't just type in the URL, and leave your affiliate id out of it. That way you get credit for every visit. Link Guard is probably the most important tool that you will use if you have anything to do with affiliate marketing. I would highly recommend this to everyone that is involved with any affiliate type program.

My Link Guard :)

My Link Guard is very good. I say this because people cannot steal your affiliate links and advertise them to make money from your efforts. If a businessman makes a large sum of money then stealers will make the businessman a target and try to steal their affiliates. However thanks to My Link Guard they cannot do this. My Link Guard protects your hard work. Also it is free which is another positive point about this. This is a very good business decision because it gives security for your links. Also customer support is always available if you get stuck or have a problem.

This worth a look

If you ever needed an outlet to show off, then this is it for you. This program, you will be able to stop all of the competitive links trying to pop up and interfere with your business. When I used Link Guard I was able to have viewers that were able to only have links that wanted to pursue and link on. Basically what this does is not allow a lot of links trying to simulate what you are doing into something else. This worked perfectly for me. I wouldn't have to have a lot of pop up links that could detour the viewers into viewing something that I was not apart of, I recommend this for the people that are tired of seeing links that are similar to the one that you have.. B+

Why wouldnt you want to protect your hardwork?

MyLinkGuard is a very important part of my business to me. My biggest fear in this industry was those blackhat people who have no problems in stealing your affiliate links and making money from your hard work. I just cringe at the thought of that, after I began making a good amount of money on line a day, I knew I was going to be the target of these kinds of people soon. it's such a great feeling knowing that even if they tried to steal my links, it would be impossible thanks to Mylinkguard. Honestly, there is no reason that you shouldn't have myLinkguard protecting your hard work, it's free so it's best to take the correct decision on having security in your business. Customer support is awesome and always is available also.

Free, what more can you ask for?

MyLinkGuard is great, and in my opinion an asset to all those who have had their affiliates stolen in the past. The fact that this service is FREE and of such high quality impresses me. After I had downloaded their program and signed up it was all smooth sailing from there on. I just had to insert my affiliate link and instantly it would mask it giving me added protection. The program also has a statistics tracker so you can track how many times the link has been clicked on and so this helped me see how much this program had helped me. I saw that within 15 days, the number of affiliates I got had risen dramatically.

I strongly recommend you give this service a go, as it is FREE and extremely profitable.

Kudos’s to Richard

Affiliate commission thefts are rapidly growing in intent marketing community. I too faced this ugly situation with my own affiliate links. My Link Guard is a true life saver for me now. Now I can be sure that nobody is robbing my hard work. The interface is amazingly intuitive, concise and very easy to use. Just some minor annoyance (like creating folders for each and every link). This method will effectively mask your affiliate links and nobody can track or hack your unique link. I know some people who are hesitant to click on the links due to the fear of spam and dangerous cookies. After using this method, in just 24 days, I have increased my visitors by a whooping 48% percent just by implementing this amazing method. Apart from that, this is completely free and rock solid. One thing that really is admirable is the customer support, even though this is free, the customer support will help you with everything you need to know. Absolutely recommended.

Excellent protection

MyLinkGuard offers some really excellent ways to protect your affiliate links. I tried this program because I had a lot of affiliates stolen in the past. The product is absolutely free and created by a trusted internet marketer Richard Legg, so I had to try it. When I started using this program all I needed to do was to create a few folders and then add my affiliate links. Then I created an HTML file, uploaded the two folders, and my links were ready. After a few days, I noticed the boost in clicked affiliate links - this program really works fine and is easy to use.

It works, it's free and it's very useful

I've had my share of stolen affiliates in the past so I was looking for a way to protect them. After some googling I found MyLinkGuard which masks the links you enter and that's just what I needed. I didn't hesitate to try it because it's free, the only thing I had to do was sign up and download the program.

After installing and configuring it I could see the main screen where an overview of all redirected links are. Adding links is easy and intuitive, though it was a bit annoying to create folders for each link. I wished they could do that automatically so I sent them some feedback and they appreciated it and said they would look into it.

A very nice extra that I found very useful is that it tracks how many times a redirect on a link has occurred, with an option to export it to excel for better statistical analysis.

It does what it says, it's free and it's handy, it has helped me a lot.
