Plug-in Profit Site Description

Plug-in Profit Site is an affiliate website and training package created and sold by internet marketer Stone Evans. The affiliate website contained in the package is already built, designed and loaded with products to promote; all you have to do is set it up. When you sign up for the affiliate website, you receive bonus training materials that can help you market the products.

Plug-in Profit Site Detailed Overview

One of the first things that you’ll learn about Plug-in Profit Site is that you can have the site for free—sort of. The affiliate website does come pre-designed and already loaded with the products and sales copy. It will use the information that you’ve provided to link your affiliate ID to the products, so that when anyone purchases a product from your website, you get the commissions.

The “sort of” part of this is that, though you don’t have to pay for the website, you do have to pay for hosting and a domain name. This is required in order to get your Plug-in Profit Site, and you have to use a specific web hosting service for this: Host4Profit Hosting. Evans says that he can only build your website through this hosting service.

What are the benefits of having the Plug-in Profit affiliate site? First of all, you don’t have to worry about what to sell or about writing sales copy. What Evans puts on your site are mostly programs, however, not products. Specifically, they’re business opportunities, ala network marketing programs such as Six Figure Income and Empowerism. You need to sign up with all of these programs and get your affiliate ID from each of them as part of the sign-up process for Plug-in Profit Site. The benefit of this is that you can build downlines in all of the programs by only advertising the Plug-in Profit program.

As a bonus, Evans also provides you with four more pre-made affiliate websites, each of which sells a different internet marketing product. You also automatically become a member of Plug-in Profit Site, which means that you’ll always have access to updates.

Plug-in Profit Site Reputation

Feedback on Plug-in Profit Site seems to be mixed. There are those that say the program is solid, and they’re happy with the money they earn through it. Others complain that once you sign up for the program, you are constantly bombarded with upsells of advertising packages that you’re told it would be hard to make money without. The bottom line is that the program does pay if you get enough people to sign up with it so you can build your downlines. There have been no complaints about not getting paid. The complaints are more about not being told some things up front.

Not worth it for most all who try

I personally used the PIP program and found it didn't work for just about everyone I referred. That's mainly because there are a lot of hidden costs if you want to get the maximum benefits... and then when you go to promote it you'll find most of the best places already saturated with not only PIP websites but their programs within. Those I referred and me could never get thru to communicate with Evans so I did a web search and found the Federal Trade commission FTC- filed a complaint against Stone Evans in the United States District Court of Eastern Texas FTC File No. 032-3108

Federal Trade Commission vs Defendant- Jeffery Stone Evans, AKA Stone Evans and Mark Wise.

The complaint had FIVE counts against Evans, including Evans promoted a get rich quick Scheme by using unwanted email or spam. The FTC said essentially Evans claimed that by mailing out 4-5 letters with $5 in each that participants would receive substantial income including but not limited to making $500,000 every within 6 mos on an ongoing basis simply by working from your home. Evans also said one could become an internet millionaire like others within one year. It stated in effect the defendant [Evans] promotes what is commonly known as a "pyramid scheme" that enriches a few at the expense of others.

Evans continued to promote the program through spam or selling "reports" even after a warning from the FTC advising Evans the program was illegal. There is much more in the filing which is compelling and raises questions on the character and ethics of Stone Evans. The end result was a "Stipulated Final Judgment and Order for a Permanent Injunction". I had a personal experience with Evans and his internet income program and to put it in a nice way... it was less than desirable. I have paraphrased this info from the courts due to the rules of this website. However, anyone can google the info and gain access.

This review is several upgrades out of date

Currently the Plug-In Profit Site provides free hosting along with a free Wordpress enabled website, training, autoresponder follow up messages, (the "400 Day series", a sales page, and many other discounted and free bonuses.

The only requirement to join is to register a domain name with PlugInProfitSite.com/Domains -

The Plug-In Profit Site website is fully customizable and you can add any programs you want to include or change anything you want to make it unique.

The affiliate programs are optional but with that said they are the way that you would earn income from your Plug-In Profit Site so to join as many as possible would be the ideal. You can join with just one and add more later or however you are able to start your business.

The core affiliate programs have changed and do so frequently - this is based on member feedback and the overall perception of those programs.

Plug-In Profit Site is a FREE program.

I've worked this program

I worked the program for over a year and was already making a very good income from other online sources. So I decided to add another and referred several thousand to the program. Of these, perhaps a couple of hundred or so became paid members. Of those, just a few made a small profit. This was frustrating for me because I was making good money off people who weren't. I eventually added marketing tweaks for my members to use for their PIPS website. These were mostly free strategies with a couple having a minimal [less than $50] refundable fee. This system was starting to work well but but was determined to be competitive with the PIPS owner's advertising and marketing sales. Therefore, we agreed to part company.

If you're already a professional at online marketing and advertising, then yes you can make money... if not, your likely to spend money and receive nothing much but a good lesson in return.

If you have some success then you must also be ready to receive and respond to complaints from those you enrolled who are frustrated about the ongoing costs... with little or no results. I made money only because I was already successful and had high listings for my websites in the search engines under relevant keyword phrases.

A Long Standing Training Ground

I joined Plug In Profit Site since 2006(five years ago)and it has been a very useful program. It is a good introduction to internet marketing from where an internet marketer can then "take off" in whichever direction he/she chooses.

The good intention and genuineness of the owner, Stone Evans cannot be in doubt since he practices what he preaches and is a forerunner and indeed is still a top leader within the affiliate marketing industry.

The defects of the system such as inadequate personal involvement by Stone Evans etc, I will attribute to normal human differences as one individual cannot possess all positive values. I also think that any new entrant must first gain internet marketing knowledge and experience which he can, through the program, before he goes full throttle investing in recommended programs and services. The warrior forum attached to the program is unquantifiable in benefit and should be tapped before any investment is made.

The fact that a lot of successful internet marketers passed through this system is saying much, only that it needs to meet up with current realities in the design and execution of the program.

In closing, do not move near if you are short of cash. It takes a while to begin to earn and as you learn, you equally need some investment to begin to see results.

Some positives and some negatives

I joined PIPS way back in 2004 and it was my very first venture into the Home Business World. It taught me a lot, helped me get my first website off the ground and helped me get to where I am today (full time internet marketer working from home).

In my opinion there are some positives and some negatives about this program. You should be aware of these so you can make a fully informed choice about whether it is right for you.

First the positives:

- Super fast website setup

- Great support from a helpdesk and a supportive member forum

- Integrated with a pre written 400 day autoresponder series

- reasonably cheap to get started

- long standing program with a great sales page that converts well

And the negatives:

- the site is looking a bit tired as it is the same design as it has been for many years now.

- To modify your site you need HTML experience, in particular a good understanding of tables. The site has changed over to WordPress now, but you still need HTML experience as it is not widget enabled

- costly advertising programs such as the PIPS co-op and Guaranteed visitors are recommended in the training, even though results from these are poor

- The core programs are changed around pretty frequently - the most recent changes that I can recall in the last 6 months include Lawn Chair Millionaire (added in twice and removed twice), Cash Crate (added in twice and removed once), Empowerism (removed), Peoplestring (added then removed), Traffic Wave (added), Bon Voyage(added then removed), Traffic Swarm (removed). Change is a good thing, but not when it happens so frequently

In summary, a nice program to get stared with but you do need to learn some HTML and make your site more unique to get search engine traffic.

Your very own website

I like the Plug-in Profit Site, because it is an easy and affordable system, proven to work even for Beginners. It's easy and fast to get your own website. And you get it set up right away as a complete money making ecommerce site. Having a Pip site you may nearly jumpstart your Home Business, as your site is part of a turn-key marketing system with multiple income streams. That's great, I think.

At the same time it's really your own website. You can change layout and content of the site and use it for selling whatever you want. It's your very own site. I have just changed and updated my old Pip site. Now it's totally renewed but still a make-profit site.

Another great Benefit with Pips is the built-in training program: ”30 days to profit”. It has been around for some years, but the author, Stone Evans keep it fresh and updated all the time. It's still a valuable business training for everyone to start with.

It Is What You Make It

There are a number of things that I don't care for. It seems that every training lesson ends with a pitch for an over priced sales pitch.

That being said there is also a lot of good things about the program also. If you take the free website and read the training but not purchase the upgrades eventually you can start to make money.

If you join all the affiliate programs and purchase all the upgrades and expect to make money in a month you will be disappointed.

If you take it slow, save your money and work on building traffic to your site. You will be much more likely to succeed with the program.

Pluginprofitsite

I have reviewed Pluginprofitsite thoroughly and have found it to be a very solid marketing program. It offers many streams of income which is why many complain about there being costs that are not explained up front. The program is founded on certain income streams that branch out to others designed to increase the members income as he or she profits. In reality those costs are at the member's discretion. You can be in profit by following the free advertising methods many of us are already aware of. It also offers unprecedented coaching via the back office and Warrior and Affiliate Power forums where us top IM's in the world interact. In conclusion it has withheld the teat of time and is unique in it's setup. The secret is in the title itself.

My Experience with PIPS

First off, I want to say that I have a lot of respect for Stone Evans. I believe he is a pure genius when it comes to internet marketing.

That said, my experience with PIPS taught me some valuable lessons. The first and maybe the most important thing I learned was this, business does not have to be complicated and cost money you can't afford.

I believe that is where Stone has missed the mark. His heart is in the right place by providing what appears to be everything one needs to succeed (hosting, products, services, marketing training, etc), but it get overwhelming and complicated.

Worst of all, the implication, from all his recommendations of other products and services, that you have a difficult time being successful inn PIPS if you do not purchase them.

And that is where PIPS falls apart. Although Stone advertises a step by step plan, there isn't really a good one; unless you have money to spend.

I figured it would cost @ $500/month to take advantage of all of it. Additionally, the program does not really offer much in the way of alternative free or low cost methods of promoting PIPS beyond just "mentioning them".

The PIPS concept however is solid, which is to promote multiple streams of income through one central site. That is pure genius!

I feel what could make PIPS a better program, is to include alternative ways to promote the business for those on a limited budget and make the step by step plan work it's way up to paying for everything else to finally automate everything.

One more thing that can help, is to go into detail on how best to take advantage of each program he has you sign up for. Instead, your pretty much left to your own devices to learn each program.

In conclusion, it may seem I am bashing PIPS, but I can honestly tell you that there is not much to make this "C" rated opportunity an "A" rating.

Some important things to know

As a long time member of the PIPS program, I appeared on the sales page with my testimonial for years as I started in the online business through Stone's program. There are a couple of points that people mentioned which need to be clarified.

1) The PipsCoop is overall too pricey to be a good investment. The sales page is fantastic and the way Stone presents it makes it impossible to resist, but keep in mind that the co-op isn't going to get your sales for you. It might help you through the various tools and services that you can use, but most people join the co-op to get sales and that's a misconception. Can it help you get your own sales? Possibly, but for the people who join expecting 10 sales in the 1st 30 days is just not a realistic expectation.

2) Find a program where the leader of the program is involved, communicating with members on a more regular basis. I don't mean that responds to every single email or communicates to you via a "broadcast" message on a new program he is rolling out but gets involved with members opinions and thoughts to create good dialogue about what the program needs and lacks.

Thanks again for your time!

Need to spend a lot of extra cash to make this worth you while

I have been a member for about 4 months now and I will be discontinuing my membership to all the "extra" affiliate programs that you sort of "have to" join to make it worth your while. It seems like every step you take you need to spend more and more and more money. I have not made anything from this and I would not recommend it to a friend. I would have liked to have known in advance how much the "REAL" cost was going to be for this "FREE" site!

Just not worth it

I found this site to be full of promises, but actually didn't deliver very much at all. It was supposed to be free to join and in a way it was, but then you had to join other sites, such as the hosting site to actually get your 'FREE' website up and running.

I joined the Co-op which was over $90 per month, foolishly I thought that would give me an upperhand, well that's rubbish. I gained nothing at all from this site, except one measly press release, needless to say I canceled very quickly.

What I would say is don't bother with this, there are many far superior business opportunities out there that will not take your hard earned cash and give you very little in return.

There were a few freebies and plenty of informative emails, but they aren't worth the money you are paying out, so beware!

Still new at the game of pips

Joined PIPS within the last 2 weeks. Have had a lot of paper to go through, lots to learn. But did sign up with SFI, My World Plus, Host4Profit, Enpowerism and GDI. Just within 9 days of signing up with Host4Profit, Stone changed over to Host Gator and I was caught between the co's. Still haven't gotten it all straight. My favorite is My World Plus, saved money on Christmas gifts and on groceries, for holidays and everyday! Did a lot of posting on free classified sites, had some hits but no takers as of yet. There is a lot at the beginning, especially if you are not too computer wise. So the learning curve becomes a "hairpin turn" real quick. I do other things, so this is new being this type of affiliate. Time will tell. Won't be the first time me or anyone one else loses money trying to make something work in this economy. Blessings to you.

Good point to start with

I started my internet marketing experience with PIPS. On one hand it was good for me as a beginner, because I got a ready made website and a sales page as well, something that may have taken me ages to accomplish by myself.

On the other hand I have to admit that there are some things that I didn't like:

1. I noticed that every now and then the programs promoted were changed, so there were affiliate links of other users to programs that I was promoting. It was disturbing because it meant that on one hand I wasn't promoting anymore the programs I thought I was promoting (that originally where there when I subscribed and that I was paying for them) and that on the page that I was struggling to promote were someone else's links, so actually I wasn't making profits from the promotion, and I was promoting for someone else's profit. That means that if you subscribe you should check very often what is promoted on the sales page.

2. I didn't try to promote with all the methods recommended in the 30 days training, but whatever I tried somehow didn't work.

3. The hosting is expensive. It is based on the idea that it is also a business opportunity in itself, and if you have a downline you will receive $10 a month for each member in your downline, but people can take this hosting only with the whole package, so the chances they will do are very small.

Frankly I have to say that I didn't make much money with PIPS, but I also have to admit that maybe I didn't invest enough in promoting it.

My Home Business with Plug-In Profit

Plug-In Profit has allowed me to learn and apply strategies to promote affiliate programs with articles and back links. I have also joined their CO-OP, this allows me to have exposure that I would not normally be able to afford.

I think that Dustin at the CO-OP is the most hard working individual

you will find to help you grow your business. From group article marketing, pay per click, direct marketing just to name a few...

Since joining the program three months ago, all my expenses to stay active in PIPS core programs are covered by my monthly commissions.

For me my most profitable to date are Lawn Chair and Empowerism, ...

The support by Patricia and the members the forum, it all works for me. I hope this helps!

24 days into the 30 day Program!

I had completed up to day 23 in the 30 day program and went back to review and check previous days of work. I just wanted to make sure that I was doing everything right. (I do worry!) I noticed that day 12 and 13 had changed, as he said it would, and I needed to add backlinks to my blog.

I have been trying to make money online for a year now with earning a very small almost non existent income. I am hoping that this one pans out. I'll let you know from time to time. (I don't want to lose my house in the next few months. Money is too tight right now. My husband is now unemployed. )

I started Stone's 30 program August 23rd and even though I have 1 full-time and 1 part-time job, I have been able to keep on track. In hind site I must say that so far everything has been fairly simple.

I have no regrets with this program.

Good for anyone without technical knowledge just starting out, but

I joined up with PIPS in April 2009 and signed up to each of the 6 income streams, several of which cost a monthly fee. Host4Profit was compulsory if you want your website built for you. The service I receive from them is good but I have found out there are cheaper hosting packages which would be better for my pocket. I don't promote the income streams anymore-except SFI which is free-as they were costing more than I could earn. I followed the 30 day training which also costs quite a bit of cash without any results. I then decided to join Pips Power Group which is recommended by Stone Evans. If he had made it clear that I would learn the essentials by joining the PPG, I could have saved money. Since joining the PPG I have learnt how to change my website and optimize it for the search engines. I have also discovered other programs to promote which are cheaper and actually earn money for me. I think that PIPS is a good product if used in conjunction with the PPG. I would also recommend that you choose which programs to promote carefully and stick to a limited budget until you learn what works for you.

Very Limited Good Things With Plug-in Profit Site

I joined Plug-in Profit Site (PIPs) late last November. The PIPs' salespage was quite persuasive and long. One sign-up requirement was to register with Host4Profit.com for webhosting of your PIPs website. My PIPs website was a clone copy of Stone's original PIPs and therefore my cloned copy would not show up when I 'Googled' PIPs.

The webhosting cost was close to US$25/month. Such cost was inclusive of a residual income opportunity. If I had 3 persons who joined PIPs via my PIPs, then, I would have US$10/month x 3 = US$30/month referral income from Host4Profit.com.

PIPs had a few core programs (such as SFI) that you might join. If I chose not to join any of these core programs, then, when I promoted my clone copy of PIPs and people joined in, they would be put under my sponsor instead of me! So, in a way, I was induced to join the core programs such as Empowerism, Success University and Traffic Swarm.

While signing up with these core programs, I was faced with many offers to upgrade to a paid membership. Your sponsor, not Stone Evans, would get his/her earnings (commission and residual income) in this way from PIPs.

New members would be induced to upgrade their autoresponder account with GetResponse.com during the first few days of PIPs 30-Day Training. Stone would get the commission and residual income from your upgrade with GetResponse.

The 30-Day Training from PIPs was in fact 26-Day! All Sundays were Rest Days - no lesson! Feeling of cheated, right?

After joining PIPs, I quickly signed up to be a member of Warriors Forum, which was free as a member of PIPs. After 3 months with PIPs, I quickly downgraded my webhosting account with Host4Profit.com to about US$11/month. The downgraded account would not earn any income.

Host4Profit.com offered very good service when being approached about anything regarding your webhosting experience or request. The staff even installed a Google Translation Widget into my other webpages when I just asked for help.

So, the very limited good things with PIPs are: membership with Warriors Forum and Host4Profit.com webhosting.

Do Not Waste Your Money!

I saw this on Traffic Swarm and thought I'd try it. I was super excited to get my email with all of my site information. After a few days of trying to set up my website, along with constant emails from Stone, I was getting kind of frustrated. (I'm not that technically inclined... LOL!) Well, a few days after I got everything set up as much as I could with the free account, I started promoting the heck out of it. After one week and over $100 spent on advertising, I'd not gotten one referral. Add this to the cost of the program, and it just wasn't worth even messing with.

Please don't waste your time with it.

Tried it, didn't care for it

Now to tell you why I didn't like it. It was a link from SFI (which I was a member of for 2 years). I didn't like the fact that they didn't tell you upfront that you needed to pay (sometimes a large amount)to join the programs recommended. They didn't tell you upfront that you need to upgrade (also a big expense) if you want to make money. These costs might be ok if you could get people to sign up for these programs from generic websites. I still see these websites all over the place. I never got anyone to sign up after a period of more than one year.

Only one was from my brother-in-law, the rest were from Stone. I had already made the decision to join, otherwise this immediate pressure to seal the deal would have been a turn-off.

I had zero budget when I joined, which meant my site looked like almost everyone else's site. Everywhere I promoted my new Plug-In-Profit business there were many sites that looked just like mine, not to mention several that had been upgraded.

Attracting referrals seemed to be like fishing without bait. Finding one that was willing to join and look like everyone else was just pure luck.

I immediately ran into problem setting up the auto-responder and despite several emails to Stone, I didn't receive any help. I had to go back and forth between the PIP help team and the GetResponse help team to direct my domain name correctly (seems it wasn't done properly when my site was set)

The positive side of PIP was the daily emails that were steps to take to build your business. They were quite thorough, and very helpful for a newbie to the network marketing game. Unfortunately, as I mentioned earlier, I had no additional budget to upgrade, or to put many of these tips into action. Once again, I was competing with those as myself... same look, same budget, same empty results.

The only way you you succeed with PIP is either to have a strong mailing list that will follow you wherever you go, get very lucky with the same generic-looking site, or have a budget to customize your site, and commit money to advertising.

After 13 months with no sign-ups, I had to call it quits with PIP. The sites that came with the program SFI & Leisure Audio did okay for me for awhile, but I could have joined them without spending the money on the website.

Surfing traffic sites I still see so many of the same looking PIP sites and wonder if anyone is able to make money with this site, without investing in a site upgrade. It didn't work for me, and more than a year later I still receive one or two emails a month from Stone... I guess he's trying to reel me back in. Not for me, but it is a solid program if you have deep pockets to put everything into play.
