Ready.Aim.Wired Description

Ready.Aim.Wired is a course that teaches social marketing strategies to generate income from sites like Facebook and Myspace. The book is written by Steve Iser who strongly advocates using these social networking sites to sell products and services. Steve explains the right way and the wrong way to market on these sites and also teaches how to use automation tools to your advantage.

Ready.Aim.Wired Detailed Overview

The big social networking sites MySpace and Facebook are now responsible for attracting over 130 million combined visitors on a monthly basis. To tap into this huge pool of traffic, marketers have used many different black hat tactics, spam tool and unethical marketing practices to game the system.

In the course, Steve Iser teaches how to take advantage of the traffic in MySpace the right way. His book Ready.Aim.Wired uses a different strategy to promote products and services in these sites. He stays away from the conventional methods that use friend adding bots and mass spam messages which have been commonly used for the last few years.

The common complaint about using these social networking sites is that the quality of traffic is poor but Steve explains that the reason that the real cause is that marketers make the wrong approach. One thing that really opened my eyes was Steve mentioning how adding a squeeze page to your profile on MySpace was actually counterproductive. The reason why many marketers do not succeed on these sites is because they try to solicit the members right off the gate and make their pages look commercial.

Instead, Steve teaches you to qualify the members and build relationships with them before even sending them any kind of promotional messages. He also talks about creating a story to attract users to becoming your friend and also the right way to interact with your audience.

I like how the book talks about market research. It teaches you how to use MySpace Groups and a simple way to 3-step way to do your market research. I think the biggest problem people have with marketing on MySpace is that they’re promoting the wrong products to the wrong crowds. I have made this mistake before and have gotten poor results (even complaints from members). Steve really teaches you where to look and what to look for when trying to figure out what to market.

I’m glad that everything is covered in this course from setting up your profile, doing your research, finding products to promote, adding people as your friend to automating many tasks. The extra information on setting up landing pages, writing copy and viral marketing strategies really makes this course stand out amongst the others in the market.

The course comes with a JV software program. This software allows you to set a criteria and search MySpace to find potential partners. It allows you to manage a database of potential partners and partners you have worked with. The course also includes a carefully laid out Action Plan to help you through all the strategies taught in the course and an interview with Michelle MacPhearson, a well-known MySpace expert.

Ready.Aim.Wired Reputation

The Ready.Aim.Wired has set a new standard in the area of social network marketing. I initially thought this was going to be another course about how to use blackhat software tools to exploit the users of MySpace and Facebook and spam them with your marketing message. I’m happy to say it stays very far away from that.

Steve has really come up with a unique strategy to tap into these huge traffic sites. He’s done his homework and learned what works and what doesn’t work. He shows examples of his own campaigns and organized a clear strategy to follow in the book. I recommend this book to people who have been burned by other books on the topic and want a solid way to reach the users of these social networking sites without using any questionable tactics.

Good for newbies and novices

First, the title didn't really interest me! To be honest, I still can not understand why it is the title! But, it is a pretty good e-book.

Without boasting, I'm quite experienced in the field of gain on Facebook and MySpace, and I think this book is really well explained.

Personally, I have been in advertising on Facebook and MySpace for about 2 years, and I bought this e-book 3 months ago. Even I learned some new things, so I was really impressed. I didn't really expect that. I started to practice the method 1 month ago, and my incomes have increased immediately. How the e-book is written, explained and illustrated helped me a lot.

I recommend the e-book to anyone, newbie or novice!

Good book and nice extras

I've encountered a brief topic that involved targeting social networks for marketing and advertisements and I could see how much potential that has. I have a facebook account and know from friends that they are on facebook a lot, making a great user base for advertisements. I was looking for a more detailed course how to proceed and I found Ready. Aim. Wired. I found the different topics that were handled in the book pretty interesting so I ordered it.

I received the e-book the next day along with a lot of extras. The book itself is nicely structured and well written. There are summaries at the end of the chapter which I found a great resource to print and occasionally check when I was hesitating. I've also sent some questions and he replied the same day with a well detailed answer. There aren't many terms that were hard to understand so it's a good book for novices (like me).

The extras included are also a nice bonus, they include strategies, more tips & tricks and a few templates that I found pretty useful.

There's even a tool that manages potential customers and friends of those customers. Installing and setting up that software went without any problems because one of the chapters in the book is dedicated to using this tool.

I find it a good book for novices and more experienced marketeers alike, and the management software is a nice bonus, it might be a little expensive overall but it was worth it.
