I Learned A Lot From It

Being a newbie to optimizing my sites for search engines (although I have been blogging for a while now, but only for personal purposes), I found SEO Secret Recipe a good source of basic information. I don't know why the not so good feedback on this product. I guess the product being titled that way, experts on SEO expected something more than what they already know. But for a newbie, this is really helpful. Admittedly, the contents of the sales letter was somewhat over the top for my taste. I wished it was not that way, as it will be more believable if it toned down the hype a little (okay, a lot). But this is solid information right here. It's very easy to understand, which is why you will know that this is made for newbies. Overall, I suggest that if you're already experienced, do not waste your money on this product as you will only be disappointed. But for people like me who are just starting out, I would recommend this product as a good place to start.

Not secret but useful

Search engine optimization might be the most important part of an online business, besides the product itself obviously. Every online marketer will give anything to have the secret recipe to have a web well ranked. This product promises to do so, but it fails some how. I would be lying if a didn't tell that it has some good tips, but all the content can be easily found on the internet after some research, without paying it's high price. It could be useful if you are a beginner and don't want to do the research of how to improve your rank or talk with experienced people to do the same thing, otherwise it's a waste of money.

Basic and Common SEO

I purchased this product in search for other alternatives for growing PPC prices. As I have read their guide, it is a pure rehash of what almost every online marketer knows. I think they just outsourced the guide that is already available (and flooding) over the internet.

As an online marketer, you can't really learn something new using this guide. The book tells purely about basic SEO that everyone is using on their sites and blogs. Nothing interesting about this product.

Overall, Pretty Lame.

SEO Secret Recipe has no real secrets

When I bought 'SEO Secret Recipe' I expected to get an insight to some secrets I didn't know anything about. - At first sight I got disappointed. Well, it is not a bad e-book about SEO. However, to call it a secret is maybe not 'hype' but at least it is an 'overstatement'.

The e-book is an OK tutorial for beginners and those who are not very experienced in SEO.

In my opinion the user can use it as a 'cook book' with recipes of good SEO techniques, but the useful ingredients are not very secret, - most of the ingredients are in Google's guidelines for webmasters.

The beginners can regard this as a 'two-in-one' because it at the same time 1) gives a good introduction to SEO terms and 2) explains how to use them.

Those who are more advanced can get new ideas, and 'brush-up-reminders'. The e-book points out several things which oftentimes are forgotten. Such as the importance of having good rankings for all the pages of the website (many have the false belief that a high PR on the home page gives high PR to all the pages on the website).

The book is better than the 'sales pitch' which they give on their website. So if you value the book in itself, then it is OK for the price. Whereas you might be disappointed if you believe all the big pre-sale words.

Take for instance the price: They claim that the price is discounted for a limited time, the correct price will soon become $497 - They even justify this higher price with a 'hype' that this (497) price can be earned in ONE day - I find such a claim very hard to believe).

Not that useful unless you are a newbie

I have been doing SEO work since 1996, and this report just rehashes everything I already know. It does contain a lot of tips to remember when setting up a new site, but ALL of this information can be found for free by searching Google or one of the numerous IM forums online. In other words, if you don't already know all of this information, you probably don't have $97 to shell out for this fairly useless report.

All that being said, the info in the report is useful, but I've seen better reports for free. $97 is expensive for ANY IM product, so paying that for an inferior product is probably not a good idea. A D- is my grade.

It Really Works For Me!

For me, one of the hardest task to do with my internet marketing campaign is Search Engine Optimization. My site was never really listed on the top 5 google pages as I wanted.

A decent, but uneccesary program

I overall found this program to be useful to newbies. However, it does consistently regurgitate information that can be found on numerous other free sites. Much is common sense, the other half is free if you search. The positive thing I can say however, is the convenience of the information coming from one place or source. If you don't have a lot of time on your hands to research how to get traffic on your sites, give this a shot for a condensed and structured learning process.

Few tricks revealed!

If you expect to be a search engine dominator after reading the ebook material, turn around and go away. Not only from this book, but from IM business.

I got this one as a present from a friend. He bought it just to see what it is about, after being impressed by video, and the 60 days money back guarantee was a trigger.

My review - good things

1. It reveals few tricks, things that most of webmasters forget about when designing and launching new websites.

2. It explains (to the bone) why are some things important and others not.

3. If done as suggested the result will be as promised

4. It pushes you to think outside of a "frame".

bad things

1. Be careful with expectations - there is no guarantee.

2. A lack of examples - there are very few examples available, you can not see what was done good, and what was done bad.

3. There is absolutely no chance that following these steps would get you on no. 1 SERP for high competitive keywords, as for example "weight loss". I think, that this should be stated before you buy the book.

Overall, as a SEO with lot of IM experience, this book is very good for someone who is a beginner in SEO business or for small website owners, but for more experienced users, it can be used only as a reminder. Unfortunately, that is the truth.

SEO ebook that works

I had a lot of trouble to get my webshop ranked decently in the Google search results. I had no idea of the concept of SEO until a few months ago when I ran into a friend who bought SEO Secret Recipe. He said it was great and would surely help me out.

And boy, did it help me out! The book was very clear and straightforward with plenty of examples applied to their "example site". I applied the same things they show in the book to my webshop's pages, and remarkably it was just a little over 2 weeks later my webshop appeared on the first page of a Google search! This also resulted in getting way more visitors (about 150 more each day), and I sold quite a bit more goods than before. Emails with questions get responded to fast as well (I got a response in less than 2 days).

The price is somewhat hefty, but when applying the techniques shown you will see it is definitely worth it.

A Real Bang For Your Buck

As part of a virtual assistant training a couple of months back, I had to dig through this tutorial ebook for a couple of days to see if I could learn something new. I have read many SEO tutorials in the last two years because of my job, and I thought I have already seen them all, but SEO Secret Recipe proved me wrong. Although this is targeted for beginners, I found use in it more than most other SEO materials I've come across. The basic concept of promotion is explained here in a way that opened my mind more on the aspects of website promotion than some resources I've read combined. Following the guidelines to a T is the only way to go with this ebook, as you will probably not see any noteworthy results otherwise. Who says there is no secret recipe to SEO? There is, and it's right here in this product.
