Never received the product and emails are not answered
I purchased the beta version of Simple Sites Big Profits 2010 on Dec. 5,2009, but have not received it as of today, Feb. 9,2010. I sent an email to "support" at the beginning of January, asking where it was, and was told they were working out "bugs" in the passcode field and that I should have the "old version download". I was told the new version would ship out later that week.
I didn't have the old version and sent an email back saying so but never received an answer. Apparently the new version was an upgrade from the old one, but that wasn't clear on his website when I ordered. I found it there several days ago.
I have sent numerous emails to different email addresses I could find for him. There is no email address on the contact page of his website now. I replied to the one and only email I got from him (the one about the "bugs") but never received an answer nor have I received an answer to the other numerous emails I've sent.
I'm waiting a while to give him the benefit of the doubt and allow him time to answer my last email before I send him a letter by snail mail that he will have to sign for so that I know it was delivered to him. I paid by credit card but don't know if I will be able to refute the charge since it was over 2 months ago.
My impression of Marcus from his videos was that he was an honest guy who is trying to help people make money online, but as I get more "offers" from him in my email inbox and no answers to my emails, I'm starting to feel as though he's like a lot of other internet marketers, just interested in making money any way he can.
The most important reason why I bought his product was to get one-on-one support, but now I'm thinking the support probably wouldn't be there if he can't even answer my simple emails.

Three Powerful Words- Don't Do It!
My experience with Marcus started off poor and only got worse.
I ordered the product and sent an email to him confirming purchase and telling him we were anxious to start and looking forward to speaking with him and getting started. Never heard from him. Waited 2.5 weeks for the package to arrive "priority mail", called him, emailed him, no answer. Called Paypal and expressed concern over the delay, but did not place a formal complaint(they suggested a complaint be filed). A big part of Marcus's program is personal support, filing a complaint would not be conducive to getting support. One day I called his personal 800# at least 15 times only to get a FAX tone, I called from noon to 9pm EST. The product finally came, I spent 7 days reviewing the product before calling with questions. I called and left about three messages. I sent emails through his web support desk, one email was for him to review my idea and comment on work completed. Auto responder rated it "LOW" priority. Never heard from him. Understand all my emails and phone messages were very polite, nothing pushy here, just persistent. I called Paypal again and opened a dispute, they said try again to contact and resolve the issue. Paypal said give it another 10 days, if he doesn't make it right we (PayPal) will. Give him the opportunity to make it right, or we will refund the purchase price. I called Marcus again very polite, honestly saying I was mystified why he wouldn't/couldn't return calls and that I would be happy to give him the benefit of the doubt if he could explain to me why no return calls/emails. Suffice to say I did not here from him. I still get emails from him trying to sell me more stuff. Anyhow after 10 days no refund. Recently Paypal sent me an email confirming to me they were reversing the charges on my account. Unless you have $247 to throw away, don't do it. The book's not worth $247 on it's own, the book is only a starting point. There is a lot to learn. I did learn a lot on my own watching tons of videos on youtube and subscribing to blogs so their are other good sources out there. Also for $247 you would think you'd get a tutorial that was not rife with spelling errors. So to Marcus I say, get a personal assistant and a proof reader for gods sake and return your calls, before someone puts up a youtube video, hmmm, that's an idea!

Simple Sites Reviewed
I ordered Simple Sites Big Profits about 3 months ago when I started in IM. I grew quite frustrated at first and really didn't like the idea that you had to keep purchasing more products within the program. However, Marcus is the real deal and his videos are very helpful for a newbie like myself. The price of $249 is a little steep, I think, considering you have to pay $97 for his monthly coaching. That's where the real help is. If you don't get the coaching?... You're gonna be lost. I'd give it an "A" if I didn't have to pay $97/mo for the coaching. Oh! He's also not so available as he claims to be. I think he's worn himself a little bit thin. If he hired staff I think it would be a great program for the newbie.

Marcus Campbell Delivered with his Simple Sites program
After I was laid off from my job of 10 years I browsed the web for ways to earn income through online work. I came across Simple Sites and Googled it to see if there were any negative postings or warnings from others who may have tried it. I did not find anything negative.
I called the 800 number listed on the site and was surprised that Marcus Campbell actually answered. The phone call was brief as I mostly wanted to see if there really was someone on the other end who would respond to my call.
I purchased the program but did not receive the instant download link, so I called Marcus and he emailed the link right away. I enjoyed going through the detailed step-by-step instructions. For weeks I was engrossed with learning everything: coming up with ideas for sites, creating the web page, setting up web hosting, and joining affiliate programs. A couple of times I emailed Marcus with questions and he always responded within 24 hours.
When my first site was done I emailed Marcus. He reviewed it and gave me some suggestions on how I could improve it, such as adding more relevant copy and adding AdSense. I created another site and got these going with Google AdWords. With my initial start up I had $50 of free clicks. It was slow going though and my sites were not getting much traffic. One purchase was made through Click Bank and I earned a little through AdSense. I lost interest and took my sites down.
Even though I did not follow through with my sites, I was impressed with the Simple Sites program. Marcus Campbell's guidelines were detailed, he gave personal support, and his videos were entertaining while being informative.
