Traffic Wave Description

Traffic Wave is a web based email marketing service. This is a solution for Internet marketers who want to create their own email marketing campaigns, run an email newsletter, and want to follow up with their prospects. There are some extra features in this service that stands out from others such as the lead generation FFA service and lucrative affiliate program.

Traffic Wave Detailed Overview

There are a lot of email marketing solutions in the market now. Most of these web based service do the same thing and I found that most of them are pretty solid on delivery rates. What really makes them different are the little features that make a big difference in your email marketing such as A/B split testing and scheduled emails.

Traffic Wave is one of these services. It has all your standard features such as unlimited autoresponders, ad tracking, unlimited lists, unlimited broadcasts, email personalization, and more. The service allows you to create emails using a WYSIWYG editor. You can use it in conjunction with their templates to create beautiful newsletters and promotional campaigns.

Like other services, your email bounces, unsubscribes, and spam complaints are managed by the company. There is a spam tool in place to help you identify which phrases are putting you at risk of getting your email sent to the bulk folder rather than the inbox.

Most services combine the ad tracking and the email marketing into one system but you have to use it separately when it comes to Traffic Wave, making it very tedious. I also found that it lacked some important features I was looking for such as clean reporting features, A/B split testing, reemailing options, and more.

There are some unique features such as the co-op shares in which you buy traffic with other members to promote Traffic Wave, and the FFA system where you exchange ads with other marketers. Most of the feedback on these free services seems to be negative so I don’t know if it’s a huge benefit of joining Traffic Wave.

As far as delivery goes, Traffic Wave doesn’t disappoint. They have relationships with the major ISP and email service providers so the delivery rates remain very high. I did find that their competitors have slightly higher delivery rates which can be important for some.

Next is the issue of customer service. According to customer reports, tech support is solid but it takes some time to get the help you need. You can get support by calling a toll free number, by email, or posting in their forums. Their staff is very experienced from my experience and I didn’t come across any problems.

What makes Traffic Wave a good choice for many people will be the price. You can start out with the 30 day free trial and it only costs $17.95 a month to use the service. This is very cheap compared to the other email marketing solutions out there that start you out from anywhere from $30 to $50 depending on the number subscribers you want to manage.

Traffic Wave Reputation

In conclusion, Traffic Wave is an inexpensive email marketing solution that is perfect for those who want a simple way to manage their lists. The service has received mostly positive reviews from customers. Their major competitors are much better when it comes to delivery rates and features. The big benefit of using this service is the price and free trial.

I´m happy with Traffic Wave

I have been using TW for about a year now and I´m happy with the service. What I like most is the fact that I can have as many subscribers as I can generate, and not pay a penny more. As to the delivery rate of emails, this to is nothing that I could complain about.

Like I said "I´m Happy".

Interesting Observation

In reading the negative reviews, I noticed that many of them came from members who had trouble recruiting and building their individual lists. Many seem to be members of an affiliate team who had them surfing traffic exchanges, which anyone who has been marketing online for any length of time would tell you is a complete waste of time.

The trouble with so many of these affiliate programs is not the service, but lies with the affiliates who are training their downlines to do all the wrong things. And it's not their fault. They learned from their upline, and their upline learned from their upline, and so on.

The problem isn't TrafficWave. The problem is a lack of training from people who really do understand marketing concepts and the sales cycle.

As for list building; the onus lies with the list builder. Perhaps the topic of the list they were trying to build simply didn't have a large enough market. Maybe their sales page lacked an effective call to action. Maybe their ad copy was ineffective. There are myriad possibilities for a lack of interest in a particular list, but it is not fair to place blame on the software or company offering the software. It would tantamount to trying to blame Intuit because you bought Quickbooks but can't find any bookkeeping customers.

Not sure what's going on

My comment is not so much about the autoresponder service itself but the accompanying affiliate program. I've used their service twice in the past few years and on both occasions I had the exact same thing happen to me, which I found kind of odd.

In each case, I had earned between $16.95-$35 in commissions. In both instances, I was supposed to receive a check, which never came. Upon contacting them (and yes, just as someone mentioned before, their customer service can be short and argumentative with you and often not very helpful), they told me that there would be a $35 cancellation fee, and since my check was less than that, it would not be worth re-issuing the check (as the $35 fee would come out of my check!). The second time this happened to me I told them I wanted to report the missing check as fraud but they told me it had not been cashed. So basically they kept my commission both times. This caused me to cancel their service.

It just seems odd to me this would happen twice, years apart. I don't know if anyone else has had a similar thing happen. But, also as someone mentioned, after I canceled and indicated why I canceled, I indeed received a spam email from them. I felt this was a misuse of my information, plus they already knew why I wasn't a happy customer. In my experience they DO NOT bend over backward to keep their customers or affiliates happy, which is something I've become accustomed to with other similar services.

You get what you pay for - Horrible Company

I admit that traffic wave is fairly cheap for an auto responder service but that's about all they are worth so you get what you pay for. I would not consider them to be an email marketing service. I did use traffic wave for awhile and they give you this free ffa page that supposedly is to help you build your list among other things but it's basically worthless. You will be lucky to get maybe a couple of people sign up per month for your newsletter. Expect to do all of the work yourself though to build your opt in list. Their advertising they offer is junk so the only way it builds is by you spending your own money on other means of advertising. As of their support team, they are extremely rude and unhelpful. Any time I ever had a problem with their service they would argue with me about something no matter the problem and basically treated me like I was an idiot. They will do this then close your support ticket when all you got was the run a round with generic answers and debates. Also watch out, what ended up happening is because of the issues I had they ended up closing out my account and tried to say it was my card which was the same card I used for years with them with no prior problems. After several years of building thousands of people on my list they closed out my account and erased my list so I lost thousands upon thousands of people in my autoresponder because they ended up locking me out of my account and causing my business to suffer. The owner is named Brian Rooney and he uses aliases for their support team like a Megan but (it's really him). Anyways, it is not worth the headaches believe me! I would much rather pay more for a reliable service any day of the week! I rate them an F.

Why I like traffic wave

I have been doing online marketing for a few years now and know that having an autoresponder is a necessary tool that you have to have. I had signed up with another company at the beginning and never did understand what I was doing or how to use it properly. Then I was introduced to Traffic Wave and wow - I now have my emails to my members on auto pilot and for a fraction of the cost of the other company. The support is excellent as I have a friend on skype that helps me 24/7.

Excellent Service for the Fee

I have been a member of Traffic Wave for almost 6 months. I joined because the fee was less expensive for the autoresponder as opposed to the one I had previously used. The ease of setting up my autoresponders helps me to complete my tasks faster. The ability to track all of my links makes it possible for me to know which sites are getting the best results. There is also a place for me to schedule my mailings, set up time-spaced events, and earn money with a free advertising ad site. I can use my own banners and promotions with this free ad site. I get many hits and people posting their ads to my site. There are other ways to earn money using the Traffic Wave service. You have the opportunity to start team building. The most important thing about this service is that the instructions are easy to follow. There are many promotional tools to use. It is a site that I would recommend to anyone who is wanting to use a multi-dimensional website that offers and autoresponder, free advertising website, and an opportunity to earn multiple-streams of income.

Really Aggrivated Me

So, I was shopping for auto-responders and decided to give this one a try so I signed up for the 30 day trial. I wasn't too impressed, so I moved on. Well, when the 30 days were about to end I received daily emails for five days giving me a countdown. On the last day, I got a "What Happened?" email. By this time I wanted to have them stop emailing me, but amazingly in an auto-responder company's own email, it did not have any of the standard links (unsubscribe, privacy policy, back to their page, etc), so I replied to their email and asked them to stop emailing me. Then I got the EXACT SAME EMAIL the next day! And another one the day after! How can they advertise their expertise when they don't even do it right themselves?!?

I LOVE this product!

I have read the top reviews... and for me I think this is a fantastic product... remember the price is only $18 per month... and that is for unlimited emails and campaigns. It also tracks your hits so you can save money there... to me it is simple and I love it. I have not used Aweber or Getresponse, so I guess I don't know the difference, but my friend introduced me to Traffic Wave and I have never looked back.

I am a Realtor and have used Top Producer... which is a contact manager/autoresponder for Realtors... it had too many functions and I never used it because it was daunting. TW is easy and quick.

I also like the double opt in... this way I know those who are on my list want to be.

TW also has a very nice affiliate business... after you sign on 10 people you get paid on all of your downline. After you personally get 3 people sign up you get it for free. Really, why would you need anything else?

Traffic Wave is perfect for someone on a budget or doesn't want to pay the very high price of some of the other Auto Responders... and as to the free ones... I have tried those, and have had many people tell me that they "never received my email"... so I do not think that they were actually going through. With Traffic Wave they are getting them.

http://bit.ly/ai1WW0 Traffic Wave... great autoresponder for an even better price try it free for a month.

Only tried the one month trial

I have tried Traffic Wave about three months ago and I have to say that the results I got weren't too big. I first signed up as a trial member since I wasn't willing to spend money before actually seeing whether it is worth it or not. In my opinion autoresponders definitely has a lot of potential in store but at least I wasn't able to wrap it up. I have tried the same autoresponers for free because they were included in some other affiliate products I have tried. So for me paying for this at Traffic Wave is kinda useless. In the one month trial I really made a lot of advertising and promoting but I wasn't able to make a lot of people interested in the product. So seeing that the chance of actually making something out of Traffic Wave was very minimal, I decided to not continue my subscription and I did not pay for the next month. For me the product was more of a time waste, but who knows maybe others will be able to benefit from the service in some way.

I keep getting spam from them as well and avoid them at all costs

I won't join anyone's newsletter who uses them because of the spam.

I too joined with My Instant Biz and that lady had me surfing so much there was no time to learn anything more. Then when I had a downline going she let me know that she had in my auto responders that she was going to ask my downline if they wanted a free upgrade and if they took it they would be hers and I would lose them unless I paid their way in!

Well I hadn't even had a chance to get paid yet, was a single mom on unemployment so how was I gonna pay 20 people or so $17.99 for their first month in and there was NO word about this in the program before I spend a month surfing for hours.

I let Traffic Wave know that I was not pleased by this. They were extremely rude in their emails. Of course it's all about the money.

I do not recommend both Traffic Wave or My Instant Biz. I worked hard for over a month surfing for hours for nothing. I sure as heck wouldn't have done it had there been any mention from the start that I would also be expected to pay everyone's first month in or they'd go to someone else before I even had a chance to get paid even one time! Funny how the ones that claim to not be scams end up being the worst.

Decent, lower the price and better support and it's awesome

Traffic Wave is a pretty important membership to me, I am happy with the autoresponders available and the tracking. I'm making a pretty good amount of money with my email campaigns and using Traffic Wave's autoresponding system. I think the monthly fee is pretty high, the 18 bucks adds up at the end of the year. It would have been a steal if there was a one time fee. The support is pretty great, yet they take sort of a long time to answer. I had a problem that hindered me from continuing my campaign and I had to wait over a week for it to be solved. Other than that, I'm happy with this service.

Alright, Better Products Out There

There are some great features in Traffic Wave, but I honestly don't feel that it's worth $17.95 a month. I liked the autoresponders and ad tracking. My company made great newsletters, and we earned quite a bit of profit and traffic to our website. This product would be great if there was a one-time fee. Also, I enjoyed the customer support as I did not have to wait for a long time and received instant replies on forum posts. Due to these professionally made newsletters, my website sales have increased and it is easier to spread the word out and instantly reply back to customers. I would recommend this product to people who can afford spending nearly $20 a month on a decent service.

Best services

I am a member of Traffic Wave. With this service I get website traffic fresh every day. On 30 day trial, my website visitors increased more than 60%. So I decided to become a member after I tried it, the result is very satisfactory. My website was flooded with visitors. I highly recommend Traffic Wave to all the internet marketers.

You always need traffic to your site

Being that you always need traffic for your site, Traffic Wave is a way to achieve that. I personally did not like the site. It did not do a lot for me. You get traffic sent to your site, but it's traffic that never seems to make a purchase, or in my case even join a free program. You get email training messages from them on a regular basis, but like most training emails it is a whole lot of hype and blah, blah, blah. While you are in your first 30 days you get to set up and use their auto responder which is helpful if you understand how to use one. But once your trial has ended they want a monthly fee, and if you have received no positive results, which was my case, you don't really want to spend the money. So now.. all those who you were sending automatic message to are kinda left in the wind. Needless to say, I didn't really like the program at all, but it is nowhere near the worst.

Not AS Easy As It States

I joined under Instant Biz. So I had Instant Biz, Traffic Hoopla, and Traffic Wave as a package. You are basically promoting Traffic Wave. The site is very, very informative. However I had plenty of traffic with no results. Yes the auto responder and tracker were great. I even like the capture page set up. You get a great tutorial. My problem is with all those tools, you should see results. I did not.

Traffic Wave works very well for me

I as well joined Traffic Wave with the free 30 Day Trial. The main reason was to get a good autoresponder for my primary business.

After I saw the potential of Traffic Wave, I decided to stick with it.

The low price of $17.95 per month (little correction to the article above)is very affordable when you take a closer look at all the features Traffic Wave offers.

Aweber and Getresponse are great services but they do not offer you

to get paid as good as Traffic Wave does.

The more leads you get, the more you have to pay with Aweber or Getresponse.

With Traffic Wave you have unlimited autoresponders, free unlimited ad tracking, free lead capture pages and much more. You can import your own leads at Traffic Wave, while most other autoresponder services do not allow it.

Technical Support:

I have not had any problems to get support when needed. Traffic Wave has a great section of training articles that help with setting up your autoresponders and or any of the other features.

Not to forget the offered Webinars that are a great help for those who need some support, training, having questions, etc.

I am a happy camper by saving on another business expense

and having the opportunity to market my primary business

and making an additional income with Traffic Wave.

Great for business but tech support not so good

I have actually done very well with one of my websites however on the second one I did have problems and it didn't do so well.

On the first one, I have had the autoresponder for a couple years now and have over 14,000 people. The other one I had with them was not doing as well and had 0 people after about 3 months and I told traffic wave that I didn't understand this for one because my 2 websites are basically the same thing, and #2 the other one had signups right away with the exact same methods and a lot came from the ffa pages. So I basically shut the second account down. Now I am trying to build traffic for my other website so I have went back to traffic wave again. However I am having problems setting up the subscription html code on my website and they are not doing a good job of helping me figure out the problem. This is what happened before so I am getting frustrated with them again. They are not good at helping you with problems.

Not worth subscribing to

I joined this site as the main product for another site, namely My Instant Biz, and promoted it heavily through traffic exchanges for the entire 30 day trial period as instructed by them.

I let it expire. When the webmaster Brian Rooney started sending me auto-responder please join emails, I emailed him back to ask if I had any referrals sign up. After expiration you can't access your back office on the site. I got a response but it only answered half my question. He told me the requirements for earning a commission, but not if I had any signups.

Presumably even if your account access was disabled the data would still be stored, so when you joined as a paying member you could pick up where you left off so to speak. I told him since he wouldn't tell me the complete info about my account, I was not going to pay money for something I can get elsewhere for free and I didn't join. $29.95 per month is a bit steep for me.

Not much to write home about

For the past month, I've been a trial member of Traffic Wave through "my instant biz". Although I understand the enormous potential for sales that comes with using autoresponders, I seriously question how many people are actually in immediate need of this service. Many programs - including free affiliate programs - offer free autoresponder services. My 30 day free trial ended three days ago and I opted not to upgrade, because after 3 weeks of heavy promoting my results were absolutely zero interest. Three weeks of intense promotion for zero prospects was more than enough to make me throw in the towel.

Don't throw the baby out with the bath water...

I think the biggest 'problem' with TrafficWave is that people do not know how NOT to use it.

In my opinion, their FFA and banner traffic generation features are not effective, their guaranteed traffic packages may not be worth the price, and their affiliate recruiting co-op is a waste of money.

But their autoresponder service has a good reputation with major ISPs, they are adding and improving features continually, and it has a rather lucrative affiliate compensation plan.

I started with Traffic Wave in January and have since built an affiliate organization of over 500 which continues to grow with no further effort on my part.

Traffic Wave is a tool that is effective if used prudently, with the side benefit of being a potential income generator as well.

If you want to give Traffic Wave a shot, just ignore where it falls short and concentrate on what it does well.

Was really disappointed

I have bought 3 of the co-op shares in Traffic Wave. They promoted my link in various places on the web, and I got 8 sign ups. They were all companies. After the 1 month of the free trial none of them upgraded their membership to active. I lost almost 120 dollars and got nothing. I myself referred 10 people, also none of them upgraded. After 2 months, I cancelled my account. I lost almost 150 dollars with them. They are saying that their shares are the best investment you can make. Well, in my case, they are the worst investment. I have opted out of their newsletter and deleted my email from their system, but still they are spamming me with their newsletters.

Not really thrilled

What I would have liked to know about it is that when you import a series and try to change the intervals of when they are sent out, everything gets jumbled around and the only way to fix it is to put it back the way it was. I didn't like that.

I did like the way they have it set up so you can see how many people opened your emails and the way the system keeps track of everything.

I paid for the first month after the free trial, but canceled toward the end of that month because I saw that over half of the people who were getting my email series never even opened any of the emails. That along with the fact that I never had anyone sign up for the program I was promoting made me not want to continue paying $17.95 per month for the service.

Personally, I Don't Like It

I tried this product through posting my ad on one of the FFA pages, and they hit me at least 3 landing pages to try the trial! I did to see what the difference was from the free programs just like it! I found out that it was not a huge difference at all! This product does the exact same thing as 2 other autoresponder programs I used for free, so the value did no justice for me. My free ones work just fine and the FFA pages just left me with a bunch of spam and no traffic; though I did add a back link to my blog :)!

Okay, middle of the road Autoresponder

I joined this site for the thirty day trial earlier this year. Looking at the back office, it has most of the same features as the big hitter for autoresponders, AWeber. I did find, however, another service that had more features and was cheaper than this one, with a great affiliate structure as well. So I do not have much experience with this product.

However, it does what it is supposed to do. The deliverability rate is great, and the affiliate structure is set right to pay for itself, if the marketing is done correctly.
